Pain res wouldn't be a bad choice since you're already using 2 perks that go well with it (Floods being another scourge hook perk and Agi).
You could commit to the meme and use Lethal but also the microphone and worry stone addons since lethal will also enhance them with 2 extra seconds
Also you can never go wrong with Sloppy Butcher, would be a decent pick

The copium from someone who doesn't even understand what they're talking about is sidesplittingly hilarious.
DBD has been (more or less) constantly improving in every new patch. Yes, release DBD was busted in a time where it was literally a brand new game balanced around hide-and-seek and not chase. Know what happened? Ash Williams was released on live on April 2, 2019. Guess when Mettle got fixed? June 18, 2019. Just over two months after its release. Hillbilly's semi-rework and Overheat system came out July 28, 2020. Guess what else also happened multiple times since then? Adjustments to overheat, buffs to his best add-ons, etc on August 5, 11 2021 and October 19, 2021. Just over a year since the initial poorly done release.
Decisive Strike in its pre-nerf state? Explicitly mentioned by devs they are working on it. Same with pre-nerf Dead Hard. Same with overstacking of gen regression/second chances. Same with working on trying to come up with ideas for tunneling/camping/slugging (despite it being an arduous process given multiple ideas have been thrown out for being too abusable or too useless). Same with pre-nerf Keys. Same with pre-nerf Moris. And then results delivered, changes made, and the issues basically solved (outside of perk stacking and the game strategies at the moment, and even that is something they're actively working on and have made test changes on).
Wow, gee, I can't possibly figure out what could maybe be the odd one out here. Hmm... could it be? The character that after her (deserved) heavy nerfs, has basically never ever even a single time been stated to be a balance issue? The character that basically only ever was mentioned in regards to bug fixes? A character that has gotten a huge number of perks to play with due to buffs and releases giving her a plentiful selection of perks she can make amazing use of? That has even then, still not once been said to be an issue or that she needs or will receive changes? Nah. Makes no sense.
"I can beat terrible players with (insert build) on (insert character), therefore, (insert) is OP." Genius conclusion. Clearly why every single perk and character in this game is OP, because good players have beaten pub lobbies with all sorts of bizarre and awful builds that cover every perk in this game. Literally not worth wasting any more time trying to explain this, LOL.
idk the only one who seems to be on copium is the one who can't formulate an argument without it being full of vitriol for the person it's being sent to. For someone who claims to be all about "da facts" you sure inject so much unnecessary emotion and snark into your posts
Even if I think you have some good points that I agree with, you have no right talking to people like that when they've done nothing wrong other than disagree.

Jeff, Ash, Bill, Feng, Rebecca, Steve, Yun-Jin and Jane are probably the loudest normal survivors I can think of
Legendaries - Johnathan, Chris and Claire are super loud
-
There's different kinds, the term is so vague it barely means anything tbh
'Hard tunnelling' to me is: Chase 1 survivor. Hook. Go away. Unhook happens, you go after said survivor again and repeat until they are dead. You might down another survivor before the unhook but the #1 priority is making sure the first survivor you caught dies as quickly as possible.
'Tactical tunnelling' is like, you prioritise the survivors who you've hooked already when the oppertunity arises without necessarily being on them the whole game. I.E let's say I go to a gen and chase 2 survs off it someone who I've hooked once and somebody I haven't. I go for the person who I've hooked already. It's the smart thing to do.
There's also "Tunnelling" aka when a Killer chases a survivor for the whole game and basically throws trying to catch them instead of being smart and breaking chase.
-
Don't sweat it man, matchmaking is just like that from time to time
You just need to keep practicing so you can garner more experience, I know sometimes it feels like you're slamming your head against a brick wall fruitlessly but eventually you'll get there.
A good way to look at it is - try to turn every match into a learning experience of some kind. Think about what the survivors did and remember it for next time and so on.
i've been in your position many times over playtime so I feel your pain. All I could really do was take breaks, keep at it and eventually I got to the point where I felt like there was always something I could do in a match.

okay but then like
either all survivors are "superior beings" or axe body spray is an undiscovered owobowos antidote.
Well that's just yk gameplay being gameplay
It's like asking how survivors survive getting impaled by a chain mounted spear or how they survive getting hit by Pyramid Head.
My head canon is all fatal injuries in the entity realm are lessened by some contrived entity magic but I doubt there's any actual explanation for it, it's just for the sake of gameplay

Nemesis is a programmable weapon,I can imagine him bowing down to the entity. How does hooking survivors fit Wesker's..ideology,whatever the ######### his ideology is.
If you assume the entity has 'programmed him' then he can make sense but it says in his lore his goal is still to go around killing STARS members. Really barebones lore
Wesker's whole thing is spreading a disease that kills like 99% of the people who get it, leaving a world full of people with "Superior genetics" aka people like him that can survive the virus. I really wish they would expand the lore on how/why some of these characters are serving the entity though.
I guess being taken by the entity wasn't enough to make him give up his goal of complete global saturation

Yeah his tome lore is amazingly written and saved him a ton. As for the execution,it's clear that BHVR failed to just execute on the concept they had with the Legion,I still can appreciate what was there, tbh. Wesker's concept is originally just "yeet survivors" and there won't be any tome to make him not be a comicbook villain.
Morbius on the other hand.... ๐
At least Wesker has motivation and an ideology of some kind. It's a over the top motivation but at least it's there
I love Nemesis but his reason for being in DBD makes less sense than Weskers for example. Sure he fits the archetype of a Killer but I can imagine Wesker going around hooking people more than I can Nemesis.
I think it's just RE in general with it's tone and writing that makes their characters seem a bit out of place in DBD thematically.

I dunno, Trickster is an actual horrifying concept that in a way exists in real life,if I remember correctly (i think some Japan players?) picked him as the scariest. The Legion is still a band of killers, which could have a scary execution.
Wesker is...an action movie antagonist.
Conceptually Legion and Trickster make sense
But their execution isn't the best. Especially Trickster's base lore (His tome lore is much better though).
I'm not gonna say Wesker is the 'scariest' or most typical horror character but he def fits the roll of a killer. It really depends on your criteria.
-
Legion and Trickster exist though
Like I enjoy both of these killers but Wesker is more fitting than either of those two
-
Please learn what a crutch actually is
Killers being able to get 1 kill in the endgame or more if survivors make mistakes isn't a crutch
Nor is using various endgame perks for a certain playstyle. Endgame is exciting, I'll take the occasional endgame build if it's a break from 4 slowdowns
Also what do you mean, The killer still has to down someone in the endgame to kill them - is that not by definition earned?
-

I am pretty shocked that Garden of Joy hasn't seen any changes, it probably has some pretty abysmal kill ratings compared to other maps. I think the new RPD maps are pretty fair, I have had pretty even matches going in both directions.
But yeah, Eyrie of Crows and Garden of Joy are demoralizing to enter as killer.
They've done small shadow changes to Garden of Joy
There used to be a pallet that spawned below the generator god window. That pallet never spawns anymore, it's gone
I also think they shifted around a tile or two/changed the main building window spawn logic since there can only be 2 windows on the lower floor when I think all 3 were open by default.
-
The whole rulebook meme needs to just die tbh
Like "haha survivor rulebook" was funny a few years ago but when I hear people say it now its just annoying. Like I'll see vids when I search DBD and it'll have stuff like "Salty survivor mad i didn't abide by the rulebook" or "Not playing by the rulebook" even though most people just complain they didn't have fun.
Tunnelling, Camping, Genrush, Slugging - None of these things should be seen as taboo nor things you label another player. They're tactics people use and you have the right to complain about the tactics and suggest changes for those mechanics.
Good post though, very well written

Trickster's Cut-Thru-Yous
A Cheerios knockoff that has you eating little throwing knife shaped cereal. Tastes horrible on purpose to 'stimulate your vocal chords'. The only reason the cereal exists is because his face is plastered all over it.
-
Yes it does
If you are injured when the last gen pops, you are broken and Adrenaline does not heal you. The only way to bypass this, is to be hooked and have someone open a gate and then once terminus is deactivated you are unhooked, it will heal you
So in a nutshell - yeah.

To be fair, his hit box is messed up. The hitbox for him on survivors is smaller than his body.
I don't disagree, It's good that BHVRs quickly recognised an issue and is working on rectifiying it
-
Expect even more when his hitbox change is added

Could be the devour speed or stbfl making them not make as much distance which gives the illusion of the Killer being faster than they are

Right, forgot he has fast vaults via his power. The point stands, though. You only see it on three, maybe four killers max. It's way less problematic than every killer feeling obligated to run slowdown (Corrupt, Deadlock, Thrilling) or regression (CoH, Overcharge, Pain Res, etc)
It's most popular on these killers from my experience:
Bubba/Billy
Trickster
Legion
Wesker
Wraith
Myers
Can't think of anyone else I see it frequently on ๐ค

@JackFrostMan said:
You're complaining about bamboozle? When's the last time you've even seen it outside of a Legion or a Myers being a memelord with it, fireup, and (recently) superior anatomy?
Most Weskers I go against have it
Seems like a v popular pick for him
-
Bamboozle isn't OP it's just a boring perk to go against sometimes, only a few killers really benefit from it too - many killers the perk does nothing for them
Tailoring your playstyle to counter it isn't hard at all but it makes Killers play predictably which you could easily argue makes the perk weak
-
Big round hitbox + Latency + The hitbox of injured survivors doesn't match the model 100% (If you were injured that is).
Could be any or a combination of these three. The hitbox can actually be abused a bit, I've seen people land shots over tall LOS blocking obstacles with it
-
I was going to get this cosmetic as Legion's one of my fav killers but right now, I'm just not sold
HUNK is one of my fav chars but his animations are goofy/unfinished/bugged, he's got the default legion voice with a filter on it. The chase music thing I can live with, there hasn't been a legendary with unique chase music but Legion's music does not fit him really
Fix the animations and the voice first and foremost imo.
If they do add a chase theme for him, they should just make it a single theme instead of complicating it with the mixtapes but something tells me the tapes are a reason why a unique chase theme won't happen. Shame but I'm not holding my breath for it

I play survivor more, but Trapper is my most played killer at all time.
Trapper needs more QoL, but starts with 8 traps is not a way to fix him
Trapper bag wouldn't be needed if bear traps weren't quarantining themselves to the corners of the map. Trapper will always be D tier because he has to walk around and pick up his power constantly
Also we need to keep petitioning BHVR for either an addon or a basekit thing that tints beartraps to fit the colour scheme of the realm you load in on.

I get what you mean overall just like @Brokenbones also wrote. And I agree but my main point still stands, it is a wasted opportunity and makes Dredge less fun and unique.
I would have to test some of the listed Killers myself cuz I am not too sure about some of them but:
Wraith's power works different then the other powers, you physicly CANNOT chase survivors in your cloak and therefore cannot gain Bloodlust.
Billy and Bubba have an active "oneshot" ability to directly injure and down survivors, it is a so called "harmfull" ability so you lose bloodlust just like a lunge attack.
Freddy - not too sure, but I recall not losing bloodlust placing snares or pallets.
Pig - harmfull ability
Legion's slash is a harmful ability
Ghostface and Myers doesnt lose bloodlust marking survivors or stalking, they lose it after lunging.. which is quiete obivous why right?
Sadako not sure I dont play her.
The way I see it, if your ability influences your chances of getting a hit, it should remove bloodlust.
Take Doctor - his power doesn't injure you directly, but it does influence your chances of getting a hit.
Same thing with Clown.
Ghostface and Myers have to slow to a crawl to stalk and if you stalk for too long, the chase will actually end automatically which removes Bloodlust I'm pretty sure
Sadako's a weird one, I don't actually think manifesting/demanifesting removes bloodlust because you can start chase while demanifested, gain bloodlust and then manifest. They might've fixed that though

The difference is that Dredge is clearly the weakest of all these Mentioned Killers in a 1v1, not overall Killer power. I am not underselling this "tech" because your power you channel is literally not usable on 30% of the loops in the game.
It's a consistency thing, all Killers are supposed lose bloodlust while using their power
Their individual strength doesn't matter, it's meant to be a global balance thing
-
That's what you get for running Knock Out on Nurse you absolute criminal ๐ก
-
Using your power is always supposed to cancel bloodlust p sure
No matter the Killer, I think the only one who it doesn't at the moment is maybe Sadako?

I'm complaining that a perk, that was designed to be a risk to the survivor, is having its risk circumvented by safely activating it on a different floor.
All I have to say to that is
If it's not intended to work this way, I'm sure it'll be fixed.
But the opposite is also true.

Why do you think the range is only 6 meters? Why do you think BHVR avoided making the range something much larger like 16 meters?
Because 6m is a safe number, knowing BHVR they likely knew the perk would be a v popular pick and as such wanted to make it not as easy to use as something like Kinship.
btw you know Darkness Revealed shows auras of survivors within 8m of any locker
Which means you could be above or below a locker but the perk will still reveal you? That's what you're complaining about it. It's how all perks work. Third time I'm reiterating this point

Just so we can all be completely pedantic on top of being completely pedantic........
The whole point of the perk is to give a NEGATIVE MOTIVATION for facecamping and give the killer a new target at the same time, so the perk is both a NEGATIVE MOTIVATION for facecamping and a POSITIVE MOTIVATION to DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN facecamping.
There's nothing pedantic my guy, I'm using what the perk says
The perk is there to let you give your teammates more time on a hook.
It says nothing about making yourself a target.
Sure it's reasonable to say once a Killer realises the perk has been used that they go for someone else but the perk doesn't make them do that. Like I said, an actual facecamping killer is gonna keep facecamping whether it takes 60s or 90s for that person to die
Also again I'm gonna reiterate the perk is working as intended, all 'range' based things go through walls. Survivor Perks, Killer perks, Powers.

The perk can be used to punish facecamping
But the perk itself is there to let you enable a teammate to hang on the hook longer. That has more applications other than just punishing purely facecamping.
If the perk was truly to punish facecamping, it would idk be infinite until the killer leaves the area or something. A killer facecamping someone is gonna keep facecamping them whether it takes 60s or 90.

I agree Nurse changes the difficulty a bit but you (general any player not you specifically) have to play around what you know the Killer can do and what they can't but that goes into the territory of Nurse arguments and I REALLY don't want to stoke those fires lmao. But I digress Nurse isn't want makes that combo strong she just gets the most benefit from it.
But in the end we are talking about a top tier players with probably x2 the play time than the players they faced. Yea the video didn't show any "skillful" plays but it also did show most Survivors we're getting a little too close for comfort. The first few times should of been a surprise for sure but why didn't they learn to stay away from the Nurse when it was obvious what perks they were running. Heck I can tell if a Killer has Nurses Calling after a few times during heals.
Yeah no absolutely - the players in the video likely didn't adapt to the situation/didn't know how to handle it so they get bulldozed quickly. Personally though I think it is Nurse that makes the combo strong, based primarily on the fact her power lets her hit you basically anywhere. No matter where you are, if she knows how to land a blink there you're taking a hit.
The other killers just don't have that. Even a Blight or Spirit with omega addons can't bypass a wall or go up/down floors with as much ease as Nurse can. Like you said tho the thread isn't about this so I don't wanna continue down this line of discussion.
Ultimately the video isn't concrete proof of anything but it's worth looking at all the same.

Tbh, most killers already hit in the 10s window if they are to hit. I'm always getting value out of the base 10 seconds, never felt I need BT.
That's a fair opinion to have
Personally I think 20s of endurance and 110% movement speed is nuts. Think about how much distance you can make moving at essentially the same speed as some of the killers in the game for 20 seconds
-
BT is S tier again
It's insanely powerful now, especially in the endgame when all other 2nd chance perks are disabled

If people really did feel like the perk was "super weak", then they wouldn't care if the unintended part of the perk got fixed.
There's nothing unintentional about it though
The perk says 6m, if you're within 6m of the hook - you can use it.
Boons do the same thing
Killer perks that reveal survivor auras within a certain range do the same thing (Undying, Bitter Murmur, Darkness Revealed)
If you want it fixed for Reassurance, then you're likely asking for it to be changed on all of these perks as well since they all function the same.
-
It's Nemmy's real voice actor as well I think?
Like the actual VA from RE3make

Reassurance should've not stopped the skill checks in second stage. But only prevent it from taking away time.
Initial reassurance would've destroyed camping Bubbas.
What needs to be destroyed is facecamping bubba in general
I really think they should stop ignoring the issue and just change his power. I know they likely don't want to make his power unusuable around hooks because you know how people are they'd abuse the hell out of it
But they can't just leave it as is, imo.

Here is the thing Awakened Awareness is like BBQ. Survivors complained about BBQ allowing for aura reading like that but never did for the longest time the easy ways to avoid it.
Now with Starstruck we have a perk that punishes greedy plays by Survivors and AA just makes it a worse punishment.
Nurse isn't the only one that benefits from SS/AA combo. Blight, Legion, Spirit, and Wesker highly benefit from it but all Killers can will get benefits if they run Agitation and Iron Grasp
I agree with your overall point but at least the 4 killers you listed cannot just straight up bypass all obstacles. Legion and Wesker can go over pallets and windows but they can't do that and then instantly m1 you with SS. There's a buffer window where you can make a play there
Blight can't use his power with SS so I wouldn't consider that an issue
Spirit is the only one I think you could make a strong case for, simply because with certain addons she moves at the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog high on some kind of substance

That reminds me actually, McLean answered a question on his stream like a year or two ago. It was about how often Nurse comes up in talks about designing perks. His answer was it was more often than expected, but that there was never a case where they scrapped an idea just cause of Nurse.
I don't think they scrap ideas tbh
But they certainly water down or neuter some of them because of Nurse. Not all of them though, For like at least a year + there's proof BHVR have been releasing perks with 'safe' numbers and changing them later on. Which is fine, there's nothing wrong with that necessarily.
-
Kinda surprised a Nurse main would put out content like this tbh
Some people who main Killers like Nurse act like if you don't think they're fine as is that you're some kind of massive ignorant survivor main who hates balance, fun and wants to just bully every killer (Which 90% of the time is far from the truth)
Then again, nerfing perks because of 1 killer isn't really how BHVR should be tackling things like this anyway but that seems to be the road we're on.
I don't think Nurse is to blame for why a lot of modern killer perks are lackluster sometimes but I do think she has a lot of influence more than any other killers of the roster.
