Same, I have the badge and the banner but the charm is still unavailable
-
Yep, happened to me too. There were 4 gens left, one got repaired and the Exit Gates got instantly powered. It's happening on different maps and as different killers
-
I have never really understood why there are FIVE variants of this maps. This feels completely unnecessary and only one would do just fine. It’s just confusing for new players, who struggle to memorize so many layouts.
Buildings are insanely powerful for survivors, yet it sucks to get out from basement if it spawns in preschool. A lot of strong pallets, very few loops that can actually be mind gamed by killers. Great visuals, the atmosphere feels good.
-
Nope. Only if the healthy Survivor is fully infected they will be immediately put on your shoulder.
-
Yeah, the grind has not been reduced. If you want to level up new characters just to get their perks, you gotta spend even more bloodpoints.
Furthermore, it is even much more difficult for new Survivors to level up and get the perks they actually want on one Survivor. These changes were beneficial for people like me, who'd had all killers P3 lvl 50 yet none of them was fully maxed out, but made it even worse for new players or new characters. Not even gonna mention the fact that bloodpoint increasing perks are gone now.
-
I can confirm. I've reported this bug recently by submitting a ticket and got asked whether it happens always or only this one time. I've played multiple games against the Demogorgon since then and can clearly confirm that it happens every time and it turns out that it doesn't happen only to me.
Here's a link to the video showcasing the glitch:

I think it was mostly for console players, while it may not seem a lot you, and I'm not sure if there are any quick buttons to show, it would be mighty annoying to move your controller cursor up to the top right to use those buttons imo.
Isn't there a dedicated button on consoles that allows you do to that without actually moving your controller cursor there? Like L3/R3?

Clown's elephant and the Legion's bunny cosmetics. Tell me you're not terrified while such sweet mascots are trying to kill you...

No more Pig nerfs... just no more...
The statistics you've linked are still... statistics. They do not really show how powerful the Killer is or not. If they did, we'd qucikly notice that the Cannibal is in that better half of the killers, while he was believed to be the worst at that time (and still is, before the PTB ofc). If you say that there is no conterplay to the Pig, you've probably haven't learned how to counter her yet.
Crouching, even though it seems nice and might be useful at some times... is not really used as a tool which allows them to sneak up on Survivors by many players. The big disadvantages of the crouch are poor vision and low movement speed. That's why crouching & dashing is rather used for ending loops quickly. While crouching she is... not invisible. She still can be spotted from afar. Her stealth ability is also countered by detection perks such as Spine Chill, which many people use and which is a counter not only to Pig, but also other stealth killers.
Her dash lasts for 2.5 seconds. How to counter it? Pallets, windows, getting away early, Sprint Burst, hiding... etc. While the Pig is trying to use her Dash while looping, simply leave the loop or continue if you're sure that she won't be able to catch you. Many people try to stay at a pallet while Pig is trying to mindgame them with her Dash, faking the actual direction she'll go - a common mistake made by many Survivors.
RBT is a great tool to slow the game down, but not always. RBTs are RNG, you never know if a trapped Survivor will manage to remove their trap on the first try within 20 seconds from being unhooked or if it's going to take them 2 minutes or more to do so. Both Survivors and The Pig suffer from this cause if one side is extremely lucky, the game for the second side is going to be miserable.
Pig's add-ons... they are meh, really meh. Only some of them are actually worth using. The ones you've mentioned are the better ones and the ones which players actually use (maybe excluding Face Mask). Add-ons are in the game to make the killer's power more efficient or sometimes to bring their power to a level in which they can actually kill Survivors due to a killer's high add-on reliance. Pig's base kit is not terrible and it can be boosted with add-ons, like many other killers. Trust me, other characters benefit from add-ons much more than the Pig and those boost their power tremendously. Pig's ones... don't
Pig is a weak killer, below average. Her power isn't great. I'm saying that from a Rank 1 killer perspective who's played many games as Amanda.

At the moment, there is no crossplay between PC and consoles, however Steam players can play with Windows Store players. In the latter platform, Freddy is unavailable. While I believe he still exists in the game and still can be played against, he, neither a Nightmare on Elm Street chapter can't be purchased on Windows Store. I guess that'd look the same on Switch... but I am not sure. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
-
I'd go for Dead Man's Switch, Hex: Retribution and Deathbound. The rest is just weak and not worth using at all. You can also use Gearhead to protect generators if you don't have anything better.
-
Unfortunately, they don't work like that in Dead by Daylight. Every day you get +1 Daily Ritual and you are able to refresh one Daily Ritual per day. The similar system you're talking about is present in Dead by Daylight Mobile, where, in my opinion, Rituals are way better and more rewarding.
-
Yeah, I'd like to know as well. I hope it is just a bug...
-
From June 23rd, 2020 to July 7th, 2020
-
As far as I remember the Legendary outfits are also supposed to have different animations and sounds.
-
The Legion's one.
The only one good thing about this killer...
-
Well are you 100% sure you were hooked twice or reached the second phase on your first hook and escape the trial? And what's more important, are you playing as Kate? I'm asking because I honestly haven't encountered any problems with that challenge.
-
Well... I know it's gonna sound crazy... But I've actually seen more nice comments rather than negative ones recently while playing as the Killer. I also noticed that if Survivors are toxic in the game (tbagging, flashlight spamming) they also give up on giving any comments. Who knows, maybe I'm just lucky?
-
Well, they got pretty much lots of ways of adding even more cosmetics to the game. They stick to the character cosmetics and charms now, but there was a survey a few months ago I guess, when they asked us what kind of new customization items we'd like to see in the game (basement customizations, moris, gestures and so on). DBD is not the only one game that does it. They release new cosmetics, we buy cosmetics, they get money - this is how it works.
I'm honestly ok with more cosmetics being added unless it translates into game's health and balance. I personally do not buy many cosmetics, rather stick to what the Rift gives me.
-
Legion's music is the best. The only one good thing about this killer.
-
He does have a cooldown of 45 seconds. Anyway the cooldown is reduced by 15% for each asleep Survivor in the game. You can also reduce the cooldown duration using addons.
-
800 XP = 1 Rift Fragment. Amount of XP gained depends on the duration of a match. You also get an XP bonus for the first game as a killer and as a survivor. Usually you get around 600 XP per game.

Can u complete a tome level without doing it all?
I am sure you only have to reach the Epilogue.

I'm currently (whole day) Only getting 140+ ping server lobbys as killer and also as survivor. Did they turn off EU servers? @Peanits @Patricia did you turn off EU servers? I'm trying for hours to get low ping lobbys but it doesn't work. I tried other games and always got into low ping lobbys so I'm pretty sure it's not on my end.
Same for me. One guy actually told me they were from the NA while I'm in the middle of Europe. We were both confused.
-
There is no set date yet. Anyway I would just like to remind you that you have 70 days to work for your Halloween cosmetics, as the Putrid Serum is a Rift reward.
-
I'd assume it starts at 2 PM EST, which is 8 PM in Germany. At that time events usually start. Anyway that is not confirmed.

The reasoning is actually pretty simple; the splinter just switches you to a killer even if you don't own it. If you don't own it, you won't have any perks equipped on them, so you won't have any perks when the match starts. If you end up buying a killer, equip some perks on them and then go back and use a splinter, you'll actually start the match with the perks you've equipped on them.
Splinters have been discontinued when the in-game store was added. The existing ones are still there, but since you can now buy a killer for shards, they're a little redundant and clutter the bloodweb.
What about the Splinter for licensed characters which cannot be purchased with Shards - Ghost Face and Demogorgon?

@Brawler Who said the shrine works totally RNG-based? 😎
Maybe it does now, maybe it is gonna work differently when The Archives come out... We don't know..
-
"Some Master Challenges will require the use of specific Perks. To help players with this, these required Perks will be made available in the Shrine of Secrets for at least one week each, until the next Tome is released. So, players should make sure to check out the Shrine each week in the Store menu."
And I don't think there are challenges which require you to play paid characters.

What about the previous halloween skins? Can I own them with the serum too?
Yes, they said you would be able to get cosmetics from both collections.
-
"As the last person still alive, activate the last generator and escape through the exit gate."
You need to escape after you repair the last generator by yourself while you are the last man standing. Other Survivors need to die before you manage to repair the last generator and escape through the exit gate. This achievement is incredibly difficult to obtain since the EGC is a thing.
-
I still don't get it why you removed LOL reaction (which in your opinion was some kind of a Down Vote reaction) and later on added a Down Vote reaction. But still good that they are both gone.
-
It was said that the offerings are obtainable only during the event but after it ends players still will be able to burn and use them.
-
It's already here. Check the Dead by Daylight Twitter.
-
It doesn't count as DLC, because while buying the full DLC you also receive additional exclusive customization items. They are pernament, but won't be shown on your Steam account.
-
On the newest roadmap we can see that Dedicated Servers are supposed to go live with Chapter 13.
-
2 pm EST
-
Q&A livestream is supposed to be hosted on YouTube and Twitch on 6th of June.
-
The Entity blocks the window when it's vaulted by a Survivor 3 times in a single chase. When the chase is lost, window "uses" reset. Vault locations can be also blocked by the Killer if they have Bamboozle perk. Are you sure none of those situations took place?
-
I don't really think that another complaint about DCs on forums will do anything. All we can do is to wait for dedicated servers to be implemented and see some better punishments for disconnecting.

Ghost Face can get in the lockers?
None of the Killers is able to hide in the lockers, neither is Ghost Face.
-
After seeing some of the gameplay videos I can assume that once you get exposed by The Ghost you are notified about that fact.
-
Remember that the Borrowed Time doesn't apply Endurance status effect inside the killer's terror radius.
-
You get the cosmetics for having Deathgarden on your Steam account, not for having it downloaded.
-
Tokens are lost every time you hit your obsession, so I guess it is intended. Obsession status applies to someone else after DS, so attacking the new obsession will make you lose tokens, but hurting the previous one (who is no longer the obsession) won't.
I still don't really get what the name of this perk is supposed to mean...
-
Agreed. Once I got to play this map 3 times in a row. This one is horrbile for both roles and totally unfun to play. As a Survivor, you have pretty much nothing to work with. No landmarks, no special building, just gyms and mazes located on the outskirts. But what makes it worse, it's the biggest map in the MacMillan Estate realm and the second biggest (with Rotten Fields) from all of the maps.
