and i would like good pallets and windows to be removed so they don't reward bad survivors for not being able to run a killer without them ๐

Keys are fine. Behavior's little hatch offerings they introduced a while back are not.
Keys require a certain amount of generators to be done, and/or teammates to have died. Killers don't always need a 4k every match. Survivors should get to, you know, survive. If you're able to live long enough into a match with a key, and find the hatch: props.
are you saying keys are okay because killers don't need to get a 4 man every game? ๐คจ

i been sayin i want slenderman for a long time. be a very cool additional, don't know how he'd work, but neato.
-
that'd get old really quickly with the amount of healing perks in game. along with 2 heals. that's gonna cause some damage.
-
they are just terms that describe how some people play or how people think they play.
though so many people use these in any way so the meaning they have is really washed down.

interesting.

interesting.

the flick to center on Jeff at the end ๐คฃ

gen rushing isnt a thing, it's a world used by killers that cant understand that survivors objective is doing gens if they can they will do gens that's how it works same as killer if he can he kills simple
mans on the forums saying the game can't have lingo. ๐ so disrespectful.
just means when the survs prioritize repairing gens over other things.

Because it's not an issue, ITS SPECIFICALLY ALLOWED IN THE RULES.
If you don't like the rules, that's your problem. Devs barely address actual issues, they're never going to address issues that aren't issues.
I mean..just because it's allowed doesn't mean it isn't an issue...why do you think perks and other powers were reworked or changed. ๐ค
-
I have never played the Re games it's in and I will say I do like the map. I've only played killer on it though.
I know I I've played huntress Nemesis and trapper. I think I also played Cannibal but I can't remember. Maybe even demo?
-
i have had the thought of going noed on more killers, maybe the other killers are tired of this game as i am. ๐ค
-
to keep a long story short, the more pressure you add onto saving survs, the less time survs can spend on doing gens.
tunneling isn't an exact science, but if you can pull it off in a way to prevent gens from being done.
-
i mean if you can do it, why not abuse it? even if it's annoying and makes people very mad.
don't see anyway to stop it less they rework bubba ๐
-
not really fair points. the unhooked can hide just as much as the rescuer, they just suck at it apparently. anyway, the killer has 2 survs he can down, that means great pressure. their choice whichever one they wanna go after. and the final point, the perk enables hiding as any other perk does, the rescuer was just too scared. red ranked survs run up to the killer exposed with no problem.
great with people who'd rather go after 2 survs especially when they haven't found anyone else yet or can risk going back.
-
i could name a few.
a bad survivor would; get hit and still dropping the pallet, try to blind me as if i'm really gonna stare at the beam, run in front of me to try and bait a hit, try to throw down my perfectly placed body block as i pick up the survivor, think i'm not running bloodwarden (stupid feng).
good survivors would leave there friends to die and not try and be all altruistic when they could otherwise win the game and escape. and also probably save there friend. altruism loses games, it's true and we all know it. other than that don't do anything listed above and your good.
anyway to change this? no not really.
-
he is "meh"
what does that mean?
not strong, not weak. could have a better power, very lack luster. dream pallets are rarely worth using being honest and snares aren't top tier if you ask me. teleport works, can get plays or pops, good for defense/slowdown, but you'll probably not use it too much in a serious scenario.
in fact i just played a game of Freddy, but i didn't get far. David got 2nd hooked on 1st hook, all surv kinda went toward him, he got off hook, but then unhooked the Feng, got himself killed because of it. got dragons on Feng, some more stuff happened. Feng died. 2 now, got Claudette downed, wasnt gonna risk Jake hatch, find em, he went back to Claudette, picked up, chased down, got jake, got claudette, gg 4 man. they got maybe 2-3 gens idk.
mainly just basic attacks, snares really don't do much and are so tedious to place down even setting them up beforehand is a drag. so yeah, basic attack killer and hold no real power, but to slightly inconvenience the surv and on that off chance actually slow them, not that bad though if your good a timing and placement.
doesn't really stand out as a killer, add ons aren't all that really weird actually (like why?). black box is cool though.
i run noed, remember me, blood warden and dragon's grip. don't have a lot of perk right now, haven't leveled up to much. only like lvl 45-50.
-
mans got caught slackin
-
The way I see it is killers can use slow down perks or rely on slugging and tunneling to stall progress.
I do be thinking, I might as well not even kick the gen sometimes because I know it won't last.
Either way the game can go anywhere so even with perks or slugs, just depends on how each side plays.
-
to make a long story short, maybe if a killer didn't have a along animation that does nothing, they might be more inclined to use other perks that do other things.
killers just can't win. feelsbadman
-
this would at best hurt "newer" killers and have no affect on skilled killers.
it might give survs a momentary get out of jail free card, but why give them an infinite just for that?
killers have hard enough times on normal loops, being forced to give chase or break chase. either one could hurt the killer. power and perks included.
as for hit validation, killers can whiff the most easiest hits for "some reason", just like they can gets hits from far away survivor for "some reason". kinda goes both ways.
i haven't had too many "impossible hits" lately. i have also "missed" some hits too.
just would be kinda a pointless change aimed at only giving survs an easier time they don;t need
-
i'd think 8 surv would be more than enough to stop 2 killers xd

dead by daylight fanfiction is weird don't read it
you ever see the [redacted] huntress x female survivor stuff ;)
-
when i lunge and hit the pallet and not the survivor
-
i mean it's a stun and a speed boost. sounds pretty good to me. it may be outclassed, but well... i don;t think there is a but...i mean, how often would you be able to get the stun? i do eat pallets, but i dont actively let survs stun me...so kinda a small opportunity unlike the other ones which can be used on command...and i really don;t think using any pallet without getting the stun would be a good idea either...
so i will have to say no. kinda like balanced landing...not always gonna be useful to you, but you still bring it in just incase.
-
no no she has a point...
-
just get closer if you can already hit them, see if they'll panic. even if she'd use dead hard, likely still woulda gotten the hit. i think

Thats a tricky question, but its about eye-level at its highest, however it loses any effectiveness once its blocked by any terrain or obstacle. This means you can crouch to avoid it if youre behind anything as tall as a crouched survivor. However, unlike PH it goes over gaps and drops and can still hit.
I've been able to hit crouched survivors over objects ๐ค happened a few time in different games.

love those movies.
so funny to think of a idea for that too xd

A slendermam chapter would be absolutely amazing. He has a perfect concept with the papers he hides in the woods and his tentacle things.
what i been sayin for the longest
-
i actually like badham for killer though.
-
i'd just make him have a faster movement speed. seems good enough for me. the only reason i don't play him more, he is just extremely slow for no reason.
-
yep, it's best used to save until end game or on death hook if you can.
other wise you gonna get tunneled just so you can't use it then. well if your going against me you will...
-
nah, gotta eat ds's early so you aint punished later. pro-tunneling perk.
-
me being a ps5 legend, been pretty goood.
my friend who plays sometimes, but not too often on ps4. not even going to attempt to play the game until the stuffs fixed.
-
i rarely place down portals.
shred is pretty high tier, you really can get that lucky hit when they try and get that vault and your a little farther away. it's crisp.
shredding is slow, but still gives you a good pallet break time (i think, idk how long it takes) doesnt feel that long.
so yeah, definitely use shred when you can, almost no downside really. but don't over use it.
other than that, just basic attack em.
-
disgusting.
The whole point of grabbing is supposed to be punishing. You shouldn't be able to have a free rescue anyways. Plus don't try and bait grabs and it wouldn't be a problem.

Nonono You have just missed the entire point of the post! Making haste the main focus of the rework is INTENTIONAL! Am I being trolled? Is this guy a troll?
I know the haste is. I'm just saying that just ruins the point of the perk and shouldn't focus on it.

This is only one of the premises, and it's still misrepresented because I don't think a killer that doesn't do well should be stuck with a useless perk slot. Even if you do very badly, getting a couple hooks during a trail is not remotely difficult. The rework does have a strong focus on rewarding killers who do better. You are making the jump in logic that this is an unhealthy choice without actually explaining what specifically is not good. It's definitely not another way of nerfing killer, whatever you're talking about. I play almost exclusively killer, and if anything this rework is a buff to NOED.
Side note: I am reconsidering the change I thought of for totems, but that would take testing to really know what to do.
the main issue are the tokens. the focus point should be the exposed status effect, so the idea is already at a odd start.
the increasing haste helps with chases, but if your not at 4 stacks, it'll be annoying for surv, but how much would it really change?
the tokens make the perk situational at best, if it's not that hard to get each hook why have the tokens to be gained in such a way then?
i wouldn't really consider this a buff in an regard.
-
i think we can all agree just reverting it back to it's prior version is the best option here.

I'm not sure what you are saying here. Are you just acknowledging what I've said? My argument was based on the premise that the perk had problems, and one problem I said exists was that the perk benefitted you more if you didn't play as well. You twisted this those words into "it only rewards bad killers", and said that I was stupid. When I point out that you've twisted my words, you reply with this. I'm unsure if that's supposed to be a counterargument, or an acknowledgment, or whatever.
what im saying is
- it's still set on the premise that "it rewards bad killers" or those who don't play well. So, the reworks focus on putting that argument to rest to provide more bonuses to killers who play well.
- because of that, even though i do like the ideas presented, the idea just does not feel like a healthy choice.
- so it doesn't seem like the idea is based on any perk problems, but just another way of "nerfing killer".
just seems like the rework isn't wholeheartedly based on fixing the perk or making it better.

Are you on drugs or something? the #########...you must have been high when writing this...
SWF aren't even that bad, people just see them as being awful because when people think of a SWF they think of the few toxic ones with a 4 man and 4 flashlights. Most SWFs are just friends playing together and having fun, I play with 2 other friends on DBD and we lose the majority of our games and a lot of others do as well!
To solve SWF you need to buff solo queue by making it so you can have kindred and bond as base kit and add a communication wheel. By doing this then SWF and Solo queue will be as strong as each other and you can buff killer a lot easier. Every way people come up with to nerf SWF its guaranteed to then nerf solo queue even more and solo queue is so weak which is why everyone plays SWF.
However, if SWF is toxic gameplay then isn't camping? i don't mind tunneling as much but camping is legit standing in front of someone staring at them? shouldn't that be punished?
come on, clearly that second part was a joke.
but if people rather nerf the game just because the player decided to play with their friends. what's the easiest thing to do? just ban any swf who can be proven to have shared a bit too much information. streamers beware xd.
i dont even care for swf when i play against them. more power to em

That's terrible way how to solve it. They need players and most survivors are SWF, why the hell would they make it bannable?
that was just me joking around to be honest.
but if it is such a big issue, just ban em, easiest thing. xd

That's not what the post is saying. In my TLDR I say: "The perk gives you more value if you do poorly than if you do well" which is not the same as saying "it only rewards bad killers." The rework is intended to reverse that and give you more value if you do well than if you do poorly.
this still revolves around whether or not the killer played well or not. which means the better the killer played (hooked wise at least) the more he is rewarded. which plays on the argument "it rewards bad killers", which is why i said the changes just seemed to be based on that argument.
-
still a cool idea, but just to make it not totally abusable
- this action does not count towards a hook
- the survivor can still recover at a slower rate, but can only reach 90%
- you could possibly let it proc bt, but not ds (wouldnt make sense for ds) - experimental type thing
- unbreakable/soul guard is still usable, vic dies when used.
- wouldn't trigger add ons when surv kick an idle vic.
just a suggestion for this thing, just to add some dynamic in it, any numbers it should have i'll leave to the experts
-
interesting:
trapper is obvious, obviously.
myers is...well, that's a pass.
pig i'd say needs maybe 1 more base trap.
twins is actually pretty cool wont lie.
nem, just played a game as him, dont agree with the zombie = map size though. the spring burst is whatever.
neato neato.
-
i have the same reaction.
the majority when i've tuned in, good people. always those few who accuse you of sniping or something stupid.
had this streamer who accused me of stream sniping because i chased him in the basement, dragged him out of a locker, hooked him left. and not 20 seconds later a yui unhooked him so i turned around, hit his bt off with whip and as he runs up the stairs from got downed by a zombie...back to the basement he went.
-
cyberpunk. gotta remember dbd is a smaller game and cyberpunk is much larger. so it's bound to have more bugs.
got cyberpunk on ps5 on launch day. very playable actually. the game blue screened sometimes, but that got fixed so after it was a very more enjoyable experience. didn't even see any real bugs...none note worthy that were game breaking at least. not as bad as people make it out to be.
-
nah. i didn't even like this on God Of War. any game that has the perk slots like that is lame bro.

Nice! Just wanted to check cause you were mumbling to yourself and I wanted to make sure everything was all good, I'd suggest getting a glass of water if you can and if you're out don't forget to pack a bottle! Hydration is really important after all
(this is genuinely not meant to come across in a sarcastic way, I promise)
i really should buy some more water. preferably that fiji brand
