little thirsty, but other than that yeah
-
wonder when people will call enduring unhealthy. smh.
-
thats where slugging and tunneling come into play, its not toxic if its how you need to counter them. i think most times its just that killers let them get into their head.
but if people do think swf needs a change, just make where if you can prove that group was in fact sharing information they wouldn't/shouldn't have known, then its reportable and bannable. best change you can have
-
all i can say is if you struggle with swf then you just aren't that good as a killer that you thought were. need more practice.
-
the game is old and needs a whole rework from the ground up, nothing is going to fix this until something big is changed. updates to change this somewhat will slightly change how things are done, but besides that it'll remain just the same. it needs a whole change.
-
i looked at the changes, the post and i just can't...
still seems as if the change are meant to change it because of the sole reason of "it only rewards bad killers" which in itself is stupid to say.
the changes themselves do seem interesting, but seem just to rework, at least to me, the perk entirely from what it was originally.

The perk that makes the survivor run from one side of the map to the other to break totems and is widely lauded as being inferior to detectives hunch or small game? Yes. Yes i see it as balanced.
Kilker main that loves running devour + undying here btw
i guess either way both will cause the survivor in some capacity traverse the map to go to a totem.
but i wouldnt say either is on any different level than the other.

Solos don't have the right amount of information to actively deal with old Undying, while SWF do, and therefore the perk is strongest against the teams you don't need it again.
"Just use perks-" solos shouldn't have to use perks, items, or add-ons for information SWF get for free, and the day they have similar levels of information is when we can buff everything to high hell for killers.
on the assumption that swfs make the best callouts, which i assure you i've watched swfs play and that level was not performed. so now don't assume all swfs are so inclined to do so.

Counterforce is not overpowered in the slightest and detectives hunch is better.
never said it was, just interested what he'd have to say in regards to counterforce for what he said about undying. i mean a 20% cleanse increase is a bit much when it also shows totems to you.

i fail to see how one has to do with the other.
and i dont like the mindset of "if side A has something OP, that justifies side B having something OP!"
if anything, balance both.
both relate to one another as being totem related perks, that's why it's bring up
i don't have that same mindset of justifying something op either.
i simply asked if you defended counterforce as balanced...woulda been nice to here what you thought about it.

@Trickstaaaaa said:
Killers are stronger than ever, and easier to play than ever. Don't think it's necessary as other have pointed out, this will massively hurt solos which is the majority of survivors.
maybe don't assume all solos are complete garbage at the game then.
-
@Mister_xD said:
no.
old Undying was absolutely broken and should never make it back.
the current version is much more balanced than the old one.
do you defend counterforce as being balanced?
-
had too look at the different versions. nothing wrong about bringing back the original version.
like i can't see anything wrong with the perk..the thing that is the most different is you can see survs near hex totems...there is no issue with that in the slightest.
-
i don't really see it as punishment, i'm not just like whatever and move on.
but i dont think you should bring up that stalk cap with tombstone bro...i mean its a whole instakill no matter what when you catch a surv...i dont think it needs to be fired off for every single survivor...so its def fair to need more stalk (which i think it does increase the amount of stalk needed).
but say what you want..i can understand, i just never minded not being able to stalk. if you time it well enough in theory you can down at leat 2 surv and have great time.
-
if your willing to do an action like a special ability instead of getting an easier hit, than i'd say fair play to remove a stack.

how many anti totem perks they gotta add to the game? there is plenty

-
correct me if i'm wrong, but your story sounds as if he got the other 3 kills...you did say he got the claudette, what about the other 2?
that was worded weird...i mean for his zombies to get the kill then they were infected and injured..and the chances of the zombies doing both of that i'd say are extremely low even if they were bad. seems he was able to get the kills either way.
-
I see I'm not the only one whose noticed
-
cool idea. doesn't tip the balances off or anything, just adds a bit of "what if" type thing that makes the games a bit more fun for the killer running them.

Then you need more practice, or you are grossly overestimating how much a very, very occasional 5% boost to your speed actually does. I play Legion, Trapper, Plague and Billy, all of whom rely on basic attacks, none of whom I ever get any use out of Bloodlust.
In fact, Huntress is actually the killer that requires Bloodlust the most, because of her 110 speed and hatchet windup there are several windows, such as in the House of Pain, that become absolute infinites against her, and that's even with bloodlust.
i dont think practice is gonna make running around an obstacle any better.

Plague, Trapper, Nemesis, Legion, Demogorgon, Wraith, Huntress, Billy, Trickster, and... I think that's been my current rotation.
And I don't even know why I mentioned holding W, that's literally every trial for me but I worked out that bloodlust does nothing. It speeds up the process of catching survivors by 2-3 seconds. Sure, wow, I'm bloodlusted, huge deal.
in my experience of playing mainly basic attack killers, legion, ghost face. i'd have to rely on bloodlust just to get close enough to hit them a second or even a first time. once they get to that loop thats an instant +30 seconds wasted (might be an exaggeration).
so ive just started playig huntress to hit em over pallets, windows, walls or if they have to go into an open area so i dont have to rely on bloodlust to actually get a down. ridiculous that is

That's not true at all, I very rarely have bloodlust in a chase. It mostly just comes up when survivors hold W or I'm in Haddonfield or Badham.
and which killer would you be playing at this point? and how many times do these survs not go to any loop?

Definitely isn't when it still giving out Kobes.
bro...how many people are getting that 4% on you dog.
-
@katoptris said:
Is it bad to to want monsterous shrine buffed?
not really, half the perk is useless anyways. that 4% is not your friend.
-
the killer has a hard time getting downs anyways. even if they get you in a chase early with this perk, it meas nothing. nothing in the slightest. doesn't matter if a "Strong" killer like nurse uses it, same problem.
-
any argument against basically says "it rewards the killer for playing bad, but that doesn't hold any ground.
and on the other side "it doesn't, it helps out end game just incase." which is more true.
here's a scenario.
there was plague, they had noed. i didn;t risk the escape to go play rescue, i escaped.
and again with t3 myers, i didn't risk being killed to save survivors, i escaped. (this games more fuzzy, but im pretty sure)
same with a noed trapper, i didn't risk dying i went to the door, i only died that game because his Tr was non existent and he had no perks to hide it. well...i did stop just incase another survivor got downed...so that played a part...
so guess what push for escape and your less likely to die because of being one shot at the end. or find the totem i guess. which i was on swamp looking for devour, never found it.
and these people definitions of killers being bad is just "all the gens got done so obviously"
-
having no bloodlust would kill killers. at that point they'd never be able to get the hit on the survivor in the chase. so i don't think you'd need those results for the fact.
-
killers can play good and get downs and hooks and keep the gens gate keeped, but can still have the gens popped.
noed helps at the endgame, but doesn't reward anything. you get an easier down, many perks do.
i view the perk has punishing survivors for not pushing to escape and rather try and be altruistic.

Yes and? You said anyone who wants it buffed has never played killer seriously. I have indeed played killer seriously before
i'd even argue survivors would know it shouldn't be buffed, let alone given 2 charges.

i guess killers cant ever ask for buffs even if it slightly inconveniences them?
I hate getting DSd and want to die when it generates an escape but its still bad.
i don't even understand what you meant in that. not gonna lie.

Doesn't really work. Most will let you get the health state and than pull you out. Wasting 2 perks at once.
true, i'd wait for the whole minute.

all these people saying to buff the perk have never played killer seriously and it shows.

After you hit them with m1 or m2?
with the m2, the gun. quite the inverse of a situation i guess. instead of the killer getting stunned, i guess technically the survivor would? idk.
-
im still interested in deathslinger. cause they throw the pallet down after i hit them...what would happen in that situation?

With ds's current restrictions? Meh. Havent been hit by a undeserved ds since the nerf.
i looked at different patch noted for the perk, i saw it had different changes, but what "nerf" do these people be talking bout, the one that added those restrictions?
-
i think any killer who has to waste time chasing because there only downing capability is there basic or lunge attacks. like legion, ghost face, you know.
at that point, even if they are the best, the odds are always stacked against them. when a surv gets to a loop or pallet, they have no choice but to wait for bloodlust.
at least that's how i see it.
-
@supersonic853 said:
I think for 10 seconds after the stun yeah no scratch blood trail or grunts of pain. Its dumb a nurse/spirit/wraith or really any killer can redown you quickly renduring the stun kinda useless and nothing against certain killers.
so many killers would suffer because of that.
-
i think the perk is fine where it is.
- it shouldn't allow for interaction (unhooking, repairing, etc.) if you were doing any of these, chances are you weren't being tunneled.
- it already gives you a second chance not to get hooked again, use that time well. people can run the killer for hours and not use the perk.
- the perk is anti tunnel as much as dropping a pallet is. and i mean, i don't think the perk is even anti tunnel. in fact i'd say it's pro tunneling.
- the argument with it having extra uses is the same as saying your not good in a chase, but you can't just make it where the killer just cant chase and hook people. there are times you gotta go down and face the facts.
-
lots of variables when it comes to this kinda stuff. i don't think a majority of killers who camp do it right off the bat.
-
and survivors wanna put down killer buffs. smh.
-
all i gotta say is people who complain about people teaming just suck bro.
