Sure, it's only more time for me to appreciate my cosmetics.

My challenge: Breathe.
I pick my comment's challenge.

Great for ambushes.

Not a pun but...
How many survivors does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
I don't know, they DC before I turn the light back on ????
Guess they weren't quite the Tinkerers.

The addition initially had the opposite effect on me when there were still challenges to do. Now all I do is grind 8000 XP per tier to make sure I actually end up completing the Rift.
Well the reason it works for me is because i find it fun.
I responded that way because it's the subject, but the easiest way to avoid burnout is to have fun and put in some variation.
If that's all you're doing, yeah, you'll be done pretty soon mentally.
It's not wrong at all for you to have the goal of wanting to complete the Rift, but remember that this is planned to be a thing forever: Once this one's over, a new one arrives the day after the previous one's closure.
Choose a day or 2 in the week where you just have casual fun, but that's just my advice. ?
-
I won't go "Ew!" or "Yay!".
To be fair, i've been like that with every license though.
-
It's meant to be very selfless, and it does that perfectly.
Just don't be dumb by unhooking with a Killer directly behind, or get grabbed.

I know i'm gonna get memes about Dwight being shy, but seriously: Why is there such a big space between them?
I know, right?

Nah, i've had a burnout before, and this addition is having the opposite effect on me. π

then an auto kicker that kicks a survivor or killer after a minute of waiting from the point where all 5 players are in the lobby where they didn't ready up
Then i turn to a more general problem.
Won't this increase lobby times greatly for some?
I can't talk from personal experiences, my lobby times are never harsh.
But there's people saying they get well over 5 minutes of waiting time.
It might take a considerable amount of time to replace the Survivor who just got kicked.
Now for those who get those long times could wait even more now.
Not to mention the 3-Survivors lobby bug seems to still be a thing every now and then.
Maybe this is an idea for later, but i don't think the game's currently in a proper state to implement this.
-
Oh sure, any casual's probably better at Huntress than me.
-
I know the feel.
And this solution isn't for anyone, but: I just stopped caring.
Killing as many as possible is still a goal, but it's not a requirement for me anymore.
It helped me recover from my burnout.

a solution to the problem most of y'all have come up with is that also their could be a vote kick or auto kicker for someone who is afk
Problem: People could vote-kick for reasons that would make the kick undeserved.
-
Either none or all equipment.
-
Cute, but not for me.
Particularly not a fan that they hang on Hooks for Killers, meaning i'll only see them when i hook Survivors, and only for a second or 5.
-
If they're AFK, why would i want to wait in the lobby?
You don't know how long they'll be AFK either.
3 versus 1 may suck hard, but i'd still prefer it over not playing.
Heck, you might convince peeps to use the AFK guy's character to farm, then do some more friendly farming to maximize BP.
Also, there's still the option to dodge them.
-
Left 4 Dead's Tank or a tank-type character.
Which is, y'know, super strong, loud, slow (but not slower than Survivors of course), etc.
-
Last time i saw people ask for this, they only dismissed the value people theorized and became completely quiet afterwards.
I'd say it's a good guess that they do not want to release that information, and i can also guess why: If people learn their threshold, then those who DC a lot will try to meet the border between banned and not banned as close as possible.

I would rather give a bonus in Boldness to No Mither to be fair.
Yeah, stuff like that, i'd like that.
-
Though i say maps, i'm pretty satisfied with the current balance overall.
-
Alan Wake.
His Perks would revolve around Flashlights, Generators & something gimmicky like No Mither.
-
I vote this purely for the awful Totem spawn on Disturbed Ward.
-
If the behaviour is bad enough to be considered unsportsmanlike, report them and the devs'll look at it.
If the behaviour isn't bad enough to be considered unsportsmanlike, it's time to get used to it.
-
But rather than just some more BP Perks, i'd like for all Perks to give more BP post-game in certain categories, like Save The Best For Last giving more BP in Brutality, Diversion in Boldness, Hex: Ruin in Deviousness, etc.
-
Very beginner friendly, but certainly not useless at any rank.
Though the more action-oriented Survivors won't care much for it.
-
I think quite the opposite: Because this event was the way it was, i'd wager the winter event'll be better.
-
Also: RIP poll title. π€£
-
Either Hag's, and thus, Hex: Devour Hope's release or Wraith's Add-on rework.
-
Poor guy, sounds like he wanted to give you some BP before leaving.
-
Whenever i play Survivor, i prefer doing objectives and scavenging primarily, since i prefer it & like 90% of the others prefer the action that involves being Survivor.
Usually i'll get it out of the way, sometimes it activates but i or someone else gets it, sometimes it works out for the Killer.
I personally don't see much wrong with that.
-
Paragraph #1 sounds more like something to make Lightweight more popular.
-
Not really.
I bet enough people will come in to say that, while still random, the game will try to encourage you to try the other side by pushing moreso towards Survivor Dailies.
And while that might be true, this has never been the case for me: Overwhelmingly Killer Dailies for me for years now.
So, again: I say "Not really", as i don't see a consistency, though i haven't ever seen an official response on it either.
-
As the game is right now for me, this is my most fitting answer.
I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of choices for equipment right now, and the game doesn't seem bad for me at all.
And i prefer to not be hardcore in this game, so yeah.
-
Sure, that'd be really great, but just saying that they should is nothing new.
Not saying you should give up, but nothing will happen.
-
Not just Offerings, i'd love to sell consumables at like 10% of its initial cost.
-
Nah, i like things organized like this.

That 5% movement speed bonus has feelings you know. And she's very sad about your hurtful words.
Besides, if it was a consistently strong effect it would give away that you have Devour Hope. The way it is now synergies well with how stacks are gained while remaining relatively unobtrusive on the Survivor side.
I mean, would you prefer it goes back to being a 5% debuff to gen speeds?
Nope, i'd prefer neither.
I also specifically said "to something weak", i don't want anything strong or even mediocre at 2 Tokens.
You can have something useful that's not obtrusive, this bonus just isn't it, it's a once-in-a-blue-moon use, and that just doesn't do it for me.
-
All.
-
Corn maps.
In general, Survivors always think you can't see through the corn while i perfectly can, so they always go in the corn without protection and it'll pretty much always lead to a hit, plus they don't seem to learn either as they'll try again in the next chase.
Additionally, it's a massive advantage for Wraith, corn Generators are mostly a free hit.

One of my favorite perks in the game; when it works it's beautiful.
Honestly it's probably a bit too strong when it actually works, but given how often it's mostly useless it's fine.
Also you take that back about the 2 token bonus! It gave me two downs in one game by boosting my Chainsaw rampage speed as Bubba, and it feels really nice besides to be able to zoom away from the hook.
I will never take that comment back, i'll stand by that comment until that bonus is buffed to something weak but at least consistently useful like the other bonuses.
-
Long waiting times.
Crashes, wait times & lack of challenges/goals are big no-no's for me.
-
I don't mind either way, i'll play the challenges anyway.
-
They'll change them when they say they will.
So for now, they won't.
-
Devour Hope.

The floor, no mattress, pillow or anything.
I slept surprisingly well.

Maybe Autodidact can actually start helping you in a match instead of making things worse 80% of the time.
Maybe make it start at 0%, but make the gains smaller so it'd end up at the same amount when at max.? π€
