I feel like it'd be pretty unfair to all the Perks that have been weak for way longer.
-
It's not a Perk that's supposed to help you.
-
It always got recognition from me.
Make Your Choice is probably my pick of underrated, except on natural double-damage Killers.
-
I feel like this discussion time-traveled from when he gained fake Pallets. ๐

You never know if someone is gonna fake or attempt a 360 sometimes, when someone ends up turning people naturally asume that the survivor is 360ing but again, I'm Only a green ranked Survivor not the best person to get opinions from
My keyword was "instinctively".
I don't think about what their plan is in that situation, all i do is follow them with my camera.
-
Cause then he'll only have 19 Add-ons, which does not fit what they want for Killers.
-
Don't worry, I've always liked Kindred a lot.
-
He has no upcoming nerfs whatsoever.
If he truly needs a nerf, they'll know before we can even click the button to write a discussion about it.
-
Guess we're gonna see the removal of an entire hook phase soon. /s ๐คญ

So there's this weapon in Dark Souls 3...
Yes, that's a weapon.
The bottom part is the hilt and the left side is the blade, believe it or not.
As one of the few users of the Spirit Realm, i'd LOVE for Wraith to have a weapon that's literally fire!
-
I always had the idea that it would regress instantly completely the moment you let go, but the lights on the Switch would work as checkpoints for the progress bar.
When you open the door for 25%, the first light goes on like usual and it won't drop past 25% if you let go.
When at 50%, it won't drop past that, same for 75%, and 100% of course is complete.
Then buff Wake Up! so that the user of the Perk ignores this and uses the current rules of the Exit Gate Switches.
-
Damn though, Wraith's best attack isn't fixed yet.
Guess no Wraith-plays for me yet, playing him without that feels terrible now that i'm used to having a super-lunge. ๐ฅ

RING-A-DING-DING!

So far, none of them took too long besides the bugged Iridescent version.

Better be a buff tbh
Knowing all the memes about the devs, i can't imagine it being the opposite.

Exactly.
It won't make them scarier, but it'd be cool and fun.
I wanna have them hear heavy chimes when i chase them with my Bing Bonger! ๐

I hope to be able to super-lunge as Wraith again before they go on vacation. ๐

I understand and after you stated that and thinking I have to agree with you.
What else could there be other then the RNG placement? I don't like RNG either so if there's anything that can come to mind I'm all ears :)
Well honestly, i don't really know either.
If it's placed with RNG, see the example above.
If it's placed with logic, they'll be memorized.
I still like the idea, but i can't see past this lil issue.
Maybe have the game be able to know who you hooked last, and then make it so the next skull that you get/break/whatever can't be for whoever was hooked last unless they're the only Survivor in the match. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
-
Where's my option for "No, but i want them anyway"? ๐ฅ

Truuee.....
but at least it'd be a bit better then getting farmed infront of the killer without BT and sent packing to the lobby sim right?
this way the survivor has a bit of a chance to get to the loops and if they're good enough, they can force the killer to give up to pressure the gens or the killer can just tunnel for the mori.
here imo.. I don't think this is necessary but what if at base only 2 skulls can spawn in a match and then the offerings can then increas the count from there.
That last bit honestly makes your idea a lot better to me.
The only problem i see is still the RNG.
You now mitigated it, but there's still that possibility.
Not that i'd personally care, but i'd wager that, because it's a very rare occurrence, you'll hear lots of complaints about it.
Y'know, like: "I thought this was supposed to balance Moris, but i still got killed 90 seconds into the game!"

I don't think it would be much easier since there is another hoop to jump through. The restriction of only being able to mori those who've been hooked is still in place. Also dying by mori is more fun then hooked anyways (unless it's within the 1st min)
It'd be harder...Or it'd be just as easy.
Your idea depends on map RNG.
Imagine you hooked someone and you stumble upon a skull by going back to your Generator patrol after hooking them.
Rare? Probably, but it'd happen.
-
No idea what to do instead, but i would not have Cannibal's Add-on arsenal be a 50% copy-paste of Hillbilly's.
-
When a streamer claims something, naturally, the fans will spread it.
-
I wouldn't mind SOME more things going for him, but him not being a priority isn't bad, there's others who need the main attention more.
*coughs in Clown*
-
Probably not, unless we earn it from a contest like back then.
-
Huh.
It would actually be a lot easier to get 1-2 kills per match this way.
I mean, it's not uncommon for me to stumble upon 2-3 Dull Totems per match as Killer myself.
-
No, we can't until they decide to give them.
You'll either have to test the differences yourself or trust other people's numbers on them.
Although, even if they released official numbers, it's always good to test the difference, mainly so you can see if the written value is the same as the value in practice.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing BPs in those empty slots, or on both sides.
But no, i don't feel like blank spaces demotivate me, i have my mind on the next challenge.
-
Ehh, i always follow the Survivors instinctively rather than thinking it's gonna be a 360, and 360s aren't really a problem.
Someone faking it just means my camera will do less moving. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Why won't you touch it? Also can't Survivors hear the Whispers perk too? I've sworn I've heard it as Survivor.
Cause it's not my kinda Perk.

Hah, look at how popular Prove Thyself is now.
It's come a long way from being "just a worse version of Leader".
Speaking of Leader: Aww, poor Leader.

I completely agree with you. I was just adding my 2 cents to the argument, based on a situation I was in a while ago - hooked a survivor, saw a set of scratch marks right in front of the hook and 2 people on barbecue on gens. I thought if I found and chased the person who was clearly waiting for the unhook, I'd be pressuring the other 2 to leave their gens and come for the save. Long story short, I ended up chilling around the hook looking for that 1 survivor, 2 gens popped by the time I finally managed to get a hit on them. 3 escaped, bar the hooked one, who ended up dying there on their second hook.
After the game I got messaged the exact same words you used "you should have patrolled gens" and all I could think was "fair enough, you're absolutely right".
That's why I said that it depends on circumstance and even post-game salt could be used as genuine constructive criticism.

Lol, Pop Goes The Weasel.
Oh, you put that Gen at 99%?
PSYCHE! 0%!!!

Depends on circumstance.. If a gen's already popped, all survivors are alive and you see 2 people on gens with BBQ (i.e. survivors are pressuring you), I think you definitely should patrol generators even if you know there is a survivor near the hook, but I think that's just common sense. If you know for a fact that no one is on a gen (or heading towards a gen), then there's not really anywhere to go.. It's the survivors' job to pressure you.
Similarly, survivors will just pump out gens when the killer hasn't put enough pressure on them and they just don't have anything else to do.
That wasn't my point.
Survivors don't get to dictate how Killers should play, and vice versa.

Surely common sense would tell them otherwise, though.
Idk, every now and then, i do hear someone saying Killers should patrol Generators, keyword being "should".
-
No thanks.

Any Killer when reaching 3 Tokens on Devour Hope.
Even someone like Hillbilly orsuddenly Shape suddenly become a way bigger threat.
And not necessarily because of the 3-Token bonus, but because of the upcoming threat to kill without conditions.
-
Kinda ironic that this map belongs to Wraith's Realm, who depends a lot on objects to sneak around with.

Do you have any thoughts about how you would imagine a whispers thats worth picking for your loadout?
Not without a complete rework, and any kind of buff to get me to equip it would most likely be an unnecessarily big buff.
It's just good and not my taste.

Maybe OP will but I still think the current idea fits great.
I sure hope so.
Even something like the Entity just spawning in a hole seems way better to me.

Once all loops are balanced around fast vaults, maybe then.

A great looking solution yes it is.
If only it were.
Maybe you can think of something better looking than that? ๐ค
-
They might be mistaken in thinking protecting the Generators is the main goal.
Generators are only good to visit cause Survivors, the true main goal, have to be on them constantly.

Same way the hatch can spawn in the killer shack when the basement is there. The power of videogames.
Well of course it could work, Hatch just has a way easier method visually, which is covering it up completely with black smoke.

Eh I'm picturing it in my head and it looks fine
Okay, i picture it and it's pretty ugly.
For example, burying means the dirt needs to be put back on.
So there'll just be an out-of-place patch of dirt here and there.
And a Survivor going out means it'd return to being tiles or concrete or whichever.
