Oh no, i'm not going to dislike someone just because they're bad players.
The ones who annoy me are the intentional scumbags who screw me over or use hacks/cheats.

Well then I hope you get your autogaven dwight too..because I used to feel as you do..
What?

I wouldn't mind Lightburn not existing anymore, but it's way too rare for it to happen to me to think it should definitely go away the next patch.
-
For Exit Gates absolutely.

Grass is my best friend.

The Passing is from L4D2. I think you meant "The Sacrifice" . Last gen breaks and one of the survivors has to restart it and sacrifice himself. Canonically its Bill.
I think Tank is the most known zombie from L4D, but I can't see him breaking pallets in other killers speed in Dbd. That would be ridiciulous. It would be hard to make him work in Dbd.
No i meant The Passing, there's a generator there.

Unless I'm missing something from the lore Bill is the only one who actually knew how to repair a generator before getting sucked into the realm, right? Seeing as canonically that was his last action in his title...
Yeah, there's also the chapter The Passion in L4D in which they repair one which turns off in the middle of the getaway preparation.

Why, if I may ask? Do you think it shouldn't be a feature or does it simply annoy you?
Both.
If you could control it, that'd be a way different story.
Sometimes i want to immediately stop uncloaking, to get a better position or smthn.
But this bug quickly betrays that i'm there.
Also, it's like scratching a chalkboard or rubbing on tight plastic: The noise it creates is annoying unless you're the one doing it.
An automatic Wailing Bell is just blegh to me.
-
Ahh yes, i remember making one.
Still like the idea too, but it ignores your first rule, as there's only 1 Power.
In short: Wraith's Surprise Attacks makes their Madness increase 1 tier.
And the usual rules of Madness apply: Hallucinations appear, they scream each tier up, they gotta Snap Out Of Madness III, etc.
But the hallucinations all play a standard animation as well...
So you know how the hallucinations always face you when they spawn in?
Well, these Wraith hallucinations would always spawn cloaked, then move towards you & uncloak at the same time.
It'd look as if Wraith is coming to hit you right there, instead of this stationary Doctor just looking at you.
Once it's done uncloaking, it disappears.
There's probably some more things that i can't remember right now, but that's the main thing i like about the idea: The hallucinations that look like they're about to come hit you.

i think they can add the tank as killer
I'm not so sure

They are way, way, too strong to work in DBD. I mean they are so massive many tiles and pallet loops would have to be entirely reworked in order to accommodate them
Not saying I don't want the Tank, I'm just not sure it could work without either tuning the game completely or heavily nerfing the tank himself
The main problem would be his width, those shoulders go a full human length.
But in terms of Power, there's Nightmare for example, who can't do lots of things from the movies.
Nerfing characters from their original product's been done before.
Heck, there's a lot of Survivor characters who got a buff after joining this game: They all know how to repair Generators. 😉
-
Lol, i hate it & want it removed ASAP.
-
Probably cause they're a minor addition & making them might prove to be too much effort for little result.

There were suggestions for Mori animations in the in-game shop, which would be really cool! But I guess they would need a little more work put into and many people wouldn’t buy them because you don’t see them that often..
Don't quote me on this, but i remember @Peanits saying they don't want to do this.
-
Trying out Make Your Choice on Wraith was one of my best decisions so far, it's hard for me to unequip it.
-
-
Idk the differences, so i'm just going for the smallest one for Killer.
-
This is the closest one for me so far.
I like both more for Survivor, but don't really got a difference for them.
ToP's main "building" sure is bigger, but no one really uses it successfully against the Killer, including me.
In contrast to Mother's Dwelling's main building, they all use that building pretty effectively.
But i gave it to ToP anyway since those loops with collapsed pillars close to the main building are pretty good: A low wall so you can see the Killer, and they're pretty long pillars.

True, but they could add this animation where he writes that the entity's spikes come out the ground and behead the survivor, which would look pretty dope.
For the M1, I can definitely see what you mean lol, but you never know, they could figure something out.
I like Death Note too, but this series just doesn't feel like a fitting addition.
It's a detective anime with 2 supernatural additions: Death gods & their death notes.
But hey, if they want to add them, oh ######### well! 🤷♂️
...
Why do i feel like L would have a Perk that takes effect after he dies in a trial?
You saw Death Note, so you know what i'm referring to...
-
Tinkerer once affected Killer Powers by boosting some Add-ons.
But they had to take Tinkerer into consideration every new Killer, resulting in additional work they didn't really want to add.
Now STBFL would only affect Killers who have a Power that can damage Survivors, but it'd still be additional work, and while it'd be small, it'd also be a starting point.
They've avoided doing Killer-related Perks ever since Tinkerer's change, and i don't think they want to start, no matter how small.
-
The other issue is that, whatever M1 attack they'd give him, it'd just be weird.
The kill animation is also extremely predictable: He'll write his name in the notebook, and he'll quickly choke to death or some other quick death.
-
Yeah: Readers of this comment!

Are they underrated?
I mean Make Your Choice is a staple on my Hag/Spirit/Myers
As for Lithe...yeah I guess DH is better in most cases but I still feel Lithe beats out SB or BL.
Staple on 3/19 Killers doesn't mean much, not to me at least.
-
Main building's pretty good to me.
-
Realism is sacrificed for the sake of balance.
-
Lithe & Make Your Choice.
-
Barbecue & Chili, Hex: Devour Hope, Make Your Choice/Pop Goes The Weasel, Enduring.
My fun build revolves around trying to get Tokens on H:DH.
-
Yes.
Mainly cause Wraith's new kill animation needs to have him rip heads off along with the spine.
-
Btw, SFTS might be bugged.
It still spams me with notifications.
-
The main building's a great help, plus it still has those stupid open-field Totem spawns.
-
Guess i'm top tier then.

Current Monstrous Shrine
The Basement Hooks are granted the following bonuses:
- 3/6/9% faster Entity progression.
- 5/10/15% increased difficulty on escape attempts.
- 3/6/9% increased penalty to escape fails.
My Monstrous Shrine
The Basement inflicts the Blindness & Oblivious Status Effects on Survivors who enter it, and they lose those Status Effects 6/8/10 seconds after exiting the Basement.
Reasoning: I thought of the idea of the Basement being its own sort-of dimension, cut off from the Realm you're playing in, so supernatural abilities like Auras & the Terror Radius are not present there.
Current Knock Out
Dying Survivors' Auras are not revealed to other Survivors when they are standing outside of a range of 32/24/16 metres.
My KNOCK OUT
Dying Survivors are afflicted with the Blindness Status Effect & Dying Survivors' Auras are not revealed to other Survivors when they are standing outside of a range of 32/24/16 metres.
Reasoning: To making being hit hard more impactful.
Current Overwhelming Presence
Survivors within your Terror Radius suffer from inefficiency.
Affected Survivors' Item Consumption rates are increased by 80/90/100%.
My Overwhelming Presence
Kicking a Generator causes it to emit a Terror Radius of 32 metres for 20/25/30 seconds.
During that time, you are granted the Undetectable Status Effect.
Reasoning: Dark Devotion's kinda neato, so i thought i'd make a similar one.
I wasn't satisfied with just 1.

The lockers have their handles on the other side!
Absolutely unplayable! 👿

"5 hours"
This isn't even a contest then, the Claudettes.
-
There's way more people playing on average now.
It's matchmaking, it's been for a while.
-
Because that's a cool ability to have if it's balanced.
-
Idk, i just follow them with my mouse and hit them when i know i will hit successfully.
-
The combination of lack of a big building and tons of the map being corn makes it way easier for me.

Well, this cannot be denied, lol.
But it might entirely be possible that there are holes in the Wall (we only see one).
Might be, but this is a strong indicator to me that the other walls will be like this.

It might be different for different maps. It looks like most of the shots came from badhem, and a bricked shack makes sense on that map. Red Forest a legit shack makes more sense. Thematically speaking. Like how Dead Doggs is different than the rest

I would assume that Shack will differ from Map to Map. So that it is not the same, generic structure on every Map, but is different, dependant on the Realm the Maps is located.
I know, but it still means there'll be brick shacks.
-
I was kinda surprised at the new Killer shack.
Not only is it bricks there, but no see-through?
That might be big.
-
Resident Evil's got their own version of DbD now.
It seems pretty unlikely to me because of that, but i'm not an expert in the colaboration field.
Who knows, maybe they would work together and both games implement a Killer of the other game.

Wouldn't be the first time they polished something up and slapped a name on it. Remember Broken?
Yes.
-
I find it weird how high they put these.
Got Haemorrhage + Mangled on Wraith's Rare Add-on, but only Haemorrhage on Nightmare's & Executioner's Very Rare.
Got Blindness on Wraith's Uncommon & Executioner's Very Rare.

Less "inspired" and more "it's the same thing, but applied to other characters".
Nah, it wouldn't get this name nor this format in that case.

nope. Saw a dev mention somewhere that this is working as intended. As cages aren’t hooks any perks that have to do with hooks for both sides are useless against/with him
I'm not Eleghost, but i think they meant that, since it's PTB, even if it's intended, they might change their minds based on the feedback & what they're seeing in the matches.
-
That's funny.
I just got a Blue Screen Of Death.
No penalty when i got back in.

@GreyBigfoot said:
It means they're a crossplay user. Right now, the only crossplay is between Steam and the Windows Store version of DbD.
Right, right.
Many thanks!
-
Huh, so you don't have to perfect the last level to start on those other 2 spots.
I mean i didn't perfect the last one, but i just finished the Legion one on the top-right as my 2nd challenge of this level.
-
Wraith as Azarov, but only bones!

@Rydog said:
I haven't played the PTB and thus only know what I saw on the stream and what people are talking about here, but -- is it feasible for Executioner to NEVER pick up or hook a survivor? Could you reasonably count on this killer winning by always slugging and using cages?
Nope, this is mainly to just find out what doesn't work if you decide to try the challenge of not using hooks.
