I would've expected a new discussion on the News section by now if they we're gonna do something today.
OP, if you ask me, we won't hear it today.
Could be wrong, of course.

There was a couple times but here is one of them.
I dislike that he claims that every next Killer needs to be stronger than the previous one.
I personally couldn't care less if every single upcoming Killer would be weaker than Nurse.
But we recently get nothing but Killers on the same level as the shittiest version of Wraith.
Mcote: "But it's fun to puke on them, and to hit all Survivors in one sprint, and to have your Power cancelled as Ghostface by simply being looked at!"
It is...when it brings good results.
-
I run Barbecue & Chili, Hex: Devour Hope, Enduring & Spirit Fury on Wraith, with the Add-ons being "Windstorm" - Blood & "Windstorm" - White, if i want to go all out.
The trick with Devour Hope is to act as if it doesn't exist: Don't EVER go to it.
Then just pray that it has a good location.
-
Well your BP isn't exclusive to one side.
If you have a Survivor you can rely on, just play them until you get Shape high up again.
-
IF they have something planned for the week, they mostly show it on a specific day.
It was either Tuesday or Thursday.
-
I'd say Wraith's placement is pretty good.
He's actually not bad at preventing loops, but once he's in one, he's an M1 Killer through and through.

I know what he did. He never confirmed by clicking your name in the drop-down list or pressing enter with you highlighted, he just continued writing.
Like this, @Boss if you get me?
Oh damn.
I mean, i did get a notification, but that's because it's my thread.
It ISN'T bold.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, @se05239 ! ๐

@Boss I've tagged you in another thread.
@se05239 I noticed.
Good job.
And thanks for showing it doesn't always bug out.
Can you imagine being a killer...creeping up on a victim...only for them to dart off through a window, turn around, vault through an entirely different window, and just generally run in circles while bobbing up and down and pointing at you.LordGlint's 3rd comment in this thread shows what i mean.
-
Someone tagged me 5 minutes ago with the capital letter and it still didn't go through.

@Boss while that honestly wouldnt be a bad idea if it wasnt for the sake of how alot of the map is procedural generated. My idea wouldve given the 30 seconds at the beginning of every match, no matter which perks are used. If you dont need 30 seconds, you could just push a ready button to end this time early.
also, please note that quoting my statements isnt a good way to let me know that youve said anything to me since I dont get a notice of it unless you @ me
Sorry, i've been here since day 1 and you didn't have to @ to get people's attention back then.
@LordGlint An additional 30 seconds overall? I don't think we need that.
My personal preference was that they just make better spots. Y'know, re-visit older maps.
Of course, that's not happening cause that doesn't reel in money.
It's been 2 years now and i'm not waiting any longer, i'd absolutely take your idea over more waiting on the devs.

@Boss What? you didnt know Pizza delivery was just a side gig for Dwight when he wasnt fixing spaceships for Nasa? Or that Jake was doing online classes at MIT while chilling in the woods? lol.
and all this without so much as needing a wrench. Just shove your hands in this engine and you can fix it no matter how much the killer hits it with a freaking sword.
Killer hits Survivor for the 2nd time
Killer: "Hah, i got you now!"
Survivor:
-
Oh, and everyone would know how to repair Generators.
From the bar brawler David, to the street rat Nea.
-
I think OoO is the best example to make an Obsession Perk.

Hate sells.
Just look at current politics.

Would be nice if Killers had the ability to hide the totems themselves before the match started. Would be kinda reminiscent of adding furniture in The Sims. Give the killer maybe up to 30 seconds to choose totem spawns. Its really painful though when you spawn in and see that the bright burning ruin is 5 ft away from a Gen and within LOS of it. Other games, you load in and see its in an area that the survivors have no reason to go anywhere near...you just KNOW that totem is staying around.
Those 30 seconds can't be taken from the lobby time, cause that would be unfair.
They can't be done during the loading screen either, that might mess things up.
The Offering screen is too short.
So the only option then is to pause the actual match right as it starts to then let the Killer decide where to spawn them.
Thing is, it will be paused for Survivors as well.
It's a clear sign that you're running a Hex Perk.
You might have hidden it well, but you're also completely ruining the surprise factor that Hex Perks CAN bring, which is something i'd like to keep.
You'd be better off with @Poweas suggestion, where you can edit placements on every map without needing to actually play a match, then those placements are saved for your matches.
Well, he talked about Bear Traps, but the idea can be the same for both.
-
I'd actually say Nightmare.
-
That's a lot of being honest.
Anyway, i can't remember the last time i or a Killer i faced waited patiently for Bloodlust 3 to trigger.
They mostly still have to break the Pallet anyway, removing everything they build up for the last 45 seconds.
-
Don't feel bad for using a Perk that's now way more balanced and can actually be avoided.
-
Hah, i think most want them to do that.
Won't happen though. ๐
Or rather: "We're working on it."
In the meantime though, they'll make sure there'll be more Perks in upcoming chapters that will definitely make playing SWF even more beneficial.
-
Devs seem to want to discourage making kills, considering the ranking and the new Killer.
Ya' gotta play with them, not kill them.
Just hook them twice and then just chase them without downing them.
Sounds stupid? I agree.

I would buy Sidney separately.
I wouldn't, but she'd be my preferred choice of the two.
And i don't even like playing Survivor anymore.
-
Definitely disagree.
I personally wouldn't think: "Ghostface sucks hard, but at least i got a Survivor from the movies."
-
Dignity is subjective.
And one's understanding of dignity does not apply to others.
-
You'll only hurt the weaker Killers more.
Nurse can still Blink fast, Hillbilly will only have to deal with an additional structure or two, Spirit will Phasewalk super hard...
-
I think i'm kinda done with trying to get stronger Killers from them.
I'm only voting with my wallet now. Or, y'know, with my virtual money.

Developer puts drawing in their 18 rated horror game so a 10 year old can see it? This isn't gonna fly...
They made it pretty clear the kid isn't the one who plays...
-
This is the best way i can help you, CashelP14.
-
I think they all should.
You start with their backstory and then show off 4 teens getting killed. (Yay, new Moris!)
Not in the Entity's realm though, i don't want the movies cluttered with Generators & Pallets.

He already does with his big hitbox.
That's long, not long long long.
-
I like corn.
Widely hated by most Killers, as not suffering from it is rare.
I'm one of the lucky ones.
But just not suffering from it isn't why i like it.
Survivors simply assume that i suffer from it, and that's not the wrong thing to think.
It's just that they're wrong in this case, and following them and countering 360s isn't any more difficult to me than usual.
-
So do you mean you gain BP 30% faster during the match, or do you mean your Brutality BP amount is increased by 30% at the end of the match?

I don't like licensed killers they usually have to stick by a certain power and can be very weak because of it (Leather Face,Freddy now most likely GF) Although Legion and Plague aren't great they sure don't have the best track record with certain licensed killers also I'd much rather them design their own killers with new possibly neat powers. But that's all my opinion so IDK
The funny thing is that Nightmare could've been VERY strong from the get-go if they wanted to stay true to the movie.
One example is what they want to do now, which is to let him appear at certain locations, just like that.
Though i would love me a long long long arm to hit with. ๐
-
We all want things.
Thanks, double post.
-
We all want things.
-
Name: Being Normal
Requirement: Don't disconnect from a match for once.
-
I know what was in 2016's DbD, i was there.
More awful back then =/= it's all good now.
-
How about he can pull his face off (takes a few seconds), and if a Survivor looks at you without your face, they'll stand still and puke for a few seconds.
Not having your face on will make the Entity bring in the Flashlight blindness slowly, eventually making you completely blind, which can be prevented by putting your face back on. (Which also takes a few seconds.)
Not serious, btw.
-
Well that's not a hard choice for me, it's not my only game.
I've got 16 games i could spend time on instead.
-
@Blueberry said:
I agree with your principle and the problems you found.
That said, I never think Bloodlust is the answer. Bloodlust is a badly designed band aid fix for the games terrible map design. If we properly fixed the maps we wouldn't need Bloodlust.
Maps are the core issue of the problem.
With you having said that, what do you think of the devs wanting to address the "safe loops"?
-
I mostly don't like multiplayer only.
And up to now, it still is my only multi-only game.
-
Can we make the game be able to randomly put Totems in Lockers as well please?
If a Survivor interacts with a Locker containing the Totem, instead of going in, they'll leave it open and can now cleanse it.
Meaning the Locker can't be used for hiding until it's cleansed.
After cleansing it, the Locker automatically closes, so they can perform the "Hide in Locker" animation properly.
A Killer can re-close open Lockers.
A Huntress would skip the first bit of her animation since the Locker is open.
The Locker would, obviously, hide the Totem and it would also reduce the sound to a 1 meter radius.
The devs want Survivors to make more use of Lockers, so tadaah.
-
They will continue to balance around "low levels".
It's no secret btw: They said they balance around the majority.
Given that only 10% of the players earned the rank 10 achievement on Steam, it's safe to say the majority is "low leveled".
It's not like i agree or anything.
It's like making a toddler feel as comfortable as possible instead of making the toddler grow.
-
I agree with #2.
-
As long as it doesn't remove We'll Make It as a Perk, and as long as the new We're Gonna Live Forever only has the boost for the next heal.
-
"I rarely ever experience toxicity. Therefore, you all are wrong."
Nah buddy, i closed it after the gazillionth threat to my life.
I made my profile private to stop getting messages saying cancer is what i should have.
I never cared too much about these messages, but being flooded by them is annoying enough for me to make an effort and click the post-chat button one last time to stop them from coming in.
-
A Killer can choose whatever Perks they have at their disposal.
A Hillbilly won't be denied to run Hex: Ruin just because he's the Hillbilly.
-
Challenge denied.
-
I went from Hillbilly to Wraith.
That should tell you enough.
-
They should be able to make whatever additions they want as long as it's legal.
I know right now i'm just not buying him.
