Says in here we should be getting information either today or tomorrow just before the start.
Meaning i'm not excited, as i don't know what the event will be.

Oh I like this idea a lot.
@Peanits could you pass this along?
Maybe Spectators should always have the Blindness effect. π
EDIT: No wait, i mean the Blindness one with the "Hex = Dull" idea. π
Making them be affected by the current version would still be pretty useless.
-
In terms of potential aggressiveness, none beat Hex: Devour Hope.
-
Blindness would be better if it removed the Red Stain, allowing for more mindgame in a loop.
Not much, i know, but it'd be a good addition.
Maybe make it show Hex Totems as Dull Totems as well? Idk...
-
Iron Grasp is pretty much: "Hey, we know Agitation's overall better, but if you don't wanna level up Trapper or just don't have it yet, you can count on me!"
"After Agitation i'm kinda obsolete though..."
-
@NekoGlitch Next up: Top 4 Survivor Perks to use, top 4 Survivor Perks to avoid, top 4 Killer Perks to use & top 4 Killer Perks to avoid! π€©
-
Lol, Wraith isn't in the minus.
I'LL TAKE IT!
-
I'd be happy to, but i'm just a Killer.
Best thing you could do is show the camper to me so i can kill you both.
P.S. I read the entire thing, i just preferred to respond to the title.
-
Had it happen again just now.
Weird to me since i never had it, now it happened twice in 2 days.
-
I find it funny how they can release this no problem, but we can't POSSIBLY have a strong Killer on its first appearance anymore.
I'm just glad they actually addressed Ghostface.
-
Hex: Devour Hope without actually caring about it.
Don't acknowledge it, don't go to it, don't secure it, nothing.
All you do have to do is just go away from the Hook.
Getting the 1-hits is the best.
It's funny too, cause: The better the Survivor is that you just 1-hit, the more time you just saved by 1-hitting.
-
Been here since day 1, and i also don't care if they decide to make a bundle for it.
I mean, if i should get angry for every time a game or DLC goes cheaper or on sale, i can be mad at almost every game i own currently.
-
That's the internet for ya', video games are not excluded with the internet's general attitude.
Also, this game is both PvP-only & asymmetrical.
ALSO, if there was ever an incentive to screw people over, it's during a time where they can earn more than usual.
How do i cope?
I just play less, though i didn't start doing that ONLY because of other people.

Wait, does bamboozle block it for killer too?
It does not.

Sure, no one can deny that really bad Totem Spawns exist. But I have had matches were my Totems were found pretty late or even never. And also had matches as Survivor, where Ruin stayed up all game.
But nearly no Killer will remember the good Totem Spots, but all the bad ones and is going to say that Ruin is at a bad Sport in EVERY game. Which is simply wrong.
They don't need to remember the good spots and praise them, that's just called "how it already should be".
People can give a shout out to how good spots are, sure, but it's way more important to call out the bad.
-
It's better for sure.
But i'm still holding onto my money.
I'll watch a few YouTubers play him first, who have too much money.
-
The devs obviously.
It's not the Survivor's fault that just doing what you need to do can be done with 4 minutes.
-
That is incredibly small, yeah.
-
Same.
-
More than likely, he just likes how Ghostface is now, and the title of his stream is basically telling the devs: "Just keep him like this, mkay?"
-
That would be a gigantic step to adding more recent licenses.
The current most recent title is SAW, being first released on 2004.
ST came in 2016.
Idk, it's not like they CAN'T do more recent stuff, but the devs seem to aim more towards classic stuff.

Myers is not invisible and Hag can be countered by crouching. Wraith has literally zero counters.
Sounds like you claim that Wraith IS invisible. π€£
You know Wraith is one of the Killers who suffers the most from the oh so popular looping, right?
He's not that bad at preventing the loop, but once he's in one, he's one of the few whose time is wasted the most.
Also Spine Chill wrecks this guy, it's a severely underestimated Perk in general.
-
Idk the cause, but it's taking way longer for me to go from "Start Lobby" to "5 seconds left".
-
People don't play any different from what i'm encountering.
-
Most likely an overexaggeration due to having it occur frequently.
Bad spawns frequently is still a bad thing though.
-
And less scary?
Okay, this has gotta be a joke then.
Cause if it's not, you purchased the wrong game.
Oh, and you'd definitely first complain about Spoopy Myers or the Hag in general.
-
I run this Perk everyday.
Almost scared to take it out nowadays.
Yet i don't mind, since i never had to fight stun Perks anyway, only the old DS.
-
The Pallet one.
They're basically traps that are already set up everywhere.
Both sound okay at the very least though.
Heck, anything above a stupid 7-second delay.
-
The only kind of competitive SWF you can punish is the Altruistic ones.
If their competitiveness includes not overly caring about eachother, it'll be a tough match regardless.

Therefore it is an even worse case the perk has received practically strictly nerfs at high tier which proves the point even more.
Okay, i was just making sure. π

Ah, watching new players play is adorable!!!
Besides that though, it looks good so far. Maybe even better than the console version. I just hope there's cross progression
That's something i actually found disturbing.
It looked better than console.
I hope for those players it'll get there soon.

To end this discussion let us look over the changes to NOED already...
Version 1.0.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/233/Y4ZIOA3ZNGKL.png
There was no counter to the perk similar to adrenaline other than survivors leaving. Similar to adrenaline there is no counter unless the survivor dies.
Noed also had tiered Movement speed and Attack Slowdown buffs. So the killer was not only faster at moving but attacking as well.
Also was not a hex perk.
Version 1.0.5
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/796/NFP1VC6Y6Q2R.png
Nerfed to be on a timer.Buff to start before the gate was opened to being just powered.
Version 1.5.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/608/AHV4A0M2MCRT.png
Buffed to no longer be on a timer.Nerf it is now a hex perk. With a complete counter of dull totems.
Nerf Reduction in Movement Speed.
Version 2.3.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/361/AAP9LXQL6O7S.png
Buffed to lower tiers giving exposed.
Nerf Reduction in Movement Speed to lower tiers.
Nerf No Attack Cooldown Reduction now.
In general Noed was 'buffed' at its highest tier once.
Buffed in the lowest tiers once.
Nerfed several times across tiers and given a counter to the perk in general.
It is balanced leave it alone.
Not to mention @Almo above they gave you emblem points for doing totems now which encourages totem breaking. This is a low-key nerf on noed as well. As well as for the person being chased.
I might misremember, but i don't think NOED ever worked like version 1 says it did.
It says it will trigger after an Exit Gate is open, but what it actually did was trigger after the last Generator, like it always has.
Again, i might misremember, but i did run this Perk a lot in the early days.
-
This is one of the discussions that actually profits from the forums not being that popular.
If they saw this, you might give them the same idea after all.
-
I kinda just want Wraith with only one or a few additions, like Hillbilly's Chainsaw movement speed, or Nightmare's FULL invisibility, or Shape's Evil Within 1 immunity to detection Perks.
-
I checked just now, and damn...
-
Yeah, you'd think so, right?
Joke's on you though, fun > viability. π
-
No.
-
Don't worry, i would never camp you.
-
I either do the daily of the day, or i get the max. amount of dailies, then do them all in one session.
Kinda makes me wish we had some sort of "infinite missions" system.
-
Both can be toxic, but I personally never felt like I was on the receiving end of it when I played Survivor.
-

Huntress or Wraith imo
You hear a distant bell, but just a few seconds later, you hear it right beHIND YOU AAHHH!
-
<--- That Perk.
-
I don't dodge anymore cause i'll always get SWF. (Doesn't matter what the numbers said, i'll always get them and someone is blessed with half the solos i should get.)
And if i always get SWF, if i start dodging again, i'll never play.
But when i used to dodge, i did so because i found it to be cheating that they can communicate.
I don't view it as cheating anymore, but i now view it as clear abuse of what's allowed.
And no, that's not me saying every SWF group does this, it's me saying that the devs made a powerful tool for everyone with friends to use and haven't done anything balancing around said tool for years.
-
Assuming that "newest DLC" means the upcoming Ghostface DLC...
Killer
Best
- Hex: Devour Hope. Why? 1-HITS & KILLING!
- Barbecue & Chili. Why? Auras, synergises nicely with Hex: Devour Hope.
- Enduring. Why? Pallets everywhere.
- Spirit Fury. Why? Synergises nicely with Enduring.
- Save The Best For Last. Why? Getting back at max. speed is pretty important.
Worst
- Distressing. Why? Well, idk, it's only good on 2 guys. It's nothing positive on others and actually severely hurts some stealth Killers.
- Dark Devotion. Why? Same reason kinda as Distressing, but you can slap the Terror Radius away every now and then.
- Overwhelming Presence. Why? Item debuff while in Terror Radius. Survivors be like: *doesn't use Item*
- Monstrous Shrine. Why? Minimal gains & only works on 4 Hooks in 1 small area. But at least all Killers profit somewhat.
- Beast of Prey. Why? Bloodlust based. Gotta waste 15 seconds at every loop to trigger this benefit. The benefit itself is actually kinda cool, but not if you need to wait 15 seconds first.
Oh yeah, can't really do it for Survivor, don't play that anymore.
-
I don't play both, so ignore me if that's what you want.
But i don't view either as OP.
DS got a good nerf that still serves a great purpose now.
And all Hex Perks apply either too weak effects or take too long to set up to be considered OP.
-
You're damn right Wraith looks dope.
-
We can make Monstrous Shrine give more BP in the Sacrifice category.
It's little and the Perk itself needs more, but it makes sense, no?
Oh, it wouldn't just be on the Basement Hooks, of course.
-
ππ
-
I'm getting my Wraith cosmetics and that's it.
-
But that fukn Wraith cosmetic though.
This is what i collect IS for!
