Let him uncloak instantly and he’d be good
-
sometimes camping is the right play. It is almost never the right play on the first hook, but on the next to last survivor- absolutely. Kinda depends on the survivors tbh.
-
When you’re streaming no one wants to watch you go through bloodwebs, it screws up the flow. You’ll see them collect if they’re in a 10 minute lobby so they can be doing SOMETHING while answering stream messages. However like many people above said they’ve usually capped out and are just waiting for a decent time so they don’t lose them.
-
That’s changing with the new update. Survivors are getting points for several things that they didn’t before. Look at the patch notes to see them all.

Such a toxic and selfish mindset, but your reply perfectly expresses the common Killah Main logic.
i DoNt CaRe iF yOu HaVe Fun!!1 i Am A KiLLeR mY jOb iS tO KiLL!!1111!
Taking the role and definition of Killer literally.. Y I K E S.
If it’s toxic and selfish to play to win then... yeah? So?
-
Since I can kill them they should be more worried about my rules:
- if I see someone near a hook, I’m not going to pretend I didn’t see you to be nice
- if you run OoO expect to get tunneled
- if I think it’s advantageous to me to slug, imma do it
- i patrol hooks
- I don’t care about how much fun you have
-
I’m going for a 4K every game wether I have slug everyone or camp the 2nd to last survivor. Is it really a killer’s concern how much fun a survivor has? That has more to do with them than you.
-
it Worked! Ty
-
Maybe if someone is hooked in the basement you see the aura of other survivors within 16/24/32M of the basement hooks?

Have you ever cut yourself real deep just into a finger and tried not to yell ?
Doesn't work at all.
Why do you even compare a computer game to the real world ??
I actually have. I almost cut my finger completely off sharpening a knife. 11 stitches. I didn’t yell because I didn’t want to freak out my kids. You can bear pain quietly but it’s difficult to vomit quietly

In my opinion, she’s is still at the top but they shortened the gap

tbh I never use OoO - I'd get tunnelled every game with it lol
Alert doenst seem to work on undetectable killers either though so thats not really worth it either...
It might not always work FOR you, but it will never work AGAINST you

OoO in live is a high risk high reward perk. Both people knowing where eachother are is a pretty big deal and very advantageous to the killer. The killer knowing where you are is a HUGE benefit to the killer and just hella broken.
Sounds like you’d be better off running alert instead of object of obsession, which already pints a tunnel target on your back

What's really stupid about the Plague is the fact that with iron will you can supress groans of pain from a bone-deep flesh wound but not the vomiting sound that can be heard from half a map away...
Have you ever been drinking and tried to will yourself not to vomit? Doesn’t work so well.
-
No, it’s isn’t bannable. There is always a slight point of the trap sticking out, even if it’s the tip of a tooth. Additionally, small game exists, so even if traps could be 100% completely hidden they have a counter that is commonly used for ruin anyway.

Deviousness does not effect your pip btw
Phasing in and out does help your deviousness, but when she phases she breaks chase, meaning you get found survivor points and quick chase points, which does help you pip
-
- dc
- git gud
-
You know you’re decent if multiple people call you a hacker
-
I’m get gonna. It’s a one time purchase if you play often.
-
I think the big question is this: how broken is the spirit WITHOUT add ons? I don’t think think she is. If anything they’ll probably make prayer beads super rare
-
Rank resets is in 6 days, just suck it up.
-
I think they could do more with generators. Maybe each generator has several mini games attached to it, like untangling wires, connecting relays, greasing pistons etc. I really think that when a killer kicks a gen he should kick a piece off and it should have to be reinstalled.
-
Maybe a good offering that wouldn’t totally cripple the killer who shoulda be in control of the game anyway is that you have a second struggle phase. Ergo it would take 4 hooks to kill you rather than 3

One side says it's overpowered, for noobs, rewards failure, requires no skill, ect....
I don't play survivor enough to remember all the perks and what they do. So help me out here...
What are the survivor perks that also fall into that same discription that NOED gets pinned with.
A couple that come to mind: Balanced landing, slef care, lith, adrenaline, object of obsession...
The point I'm getting at is survivors have a whole wack of tools that fall into the same discriptive category of NOED and most of them have no real way to counter. So if you honestly think NOED needs to go, so must certian survivors perks.
If you don't think that's fair then you are just entitled, and should probably take up candy crush.
People get upset with NOED because they don’t do bones and feel entitled to escape if all the generators are done. Reward for failure on the survivor side would be keys and instaheals. Especially keys. You can apply enough pressure that survivors don’t finish a single gen, close the hatch, and someone can still escape. That’s rewarding failure. NOED does not reward failure.

Are you suggesting it is easier to pick up and use Billy's chainsaw than it is to pick up and use Wraith or Myers?
if they won’t, I will. Billy’s chainsaw is not that hard and his speed using the chainsaw leaves room to make several mistakes. All you really have to worry about is steering him while he runs, wraith you have to position, uncloak, smack, and chase. Myers you actually have to charge his evil within to make him deadly and he starts with downsides- you have to know the map. With billy you really don’t, you just have to see someone . And keep in mind they’ll be playing people of equal skill
-
I’m fine with the way it works now. People 99% gates are some of the funnest games I have ever had
-
Wraith, trapper, and hillbilly. If he wants to spend a few dollars I would suggest Leatherface who has great perks. BBQ make sure your life way easier and franklins demise is good too. He should be your first dlc simply for bbq but you might get lucky and see it in the shrine
-
There are peak hours in my area (east coast US) it seems to be between 8-11pm for instaqueue matches. It can sometimes take 15-20 minutes a match if I have the day off work and play in the morning. I would suggest finding your peak hours and getting to 15 as quickly as possible during it. Getting through all the gray ranks and into brown isn’t tough at all, it’s only a competition when you hit about rank 10
-
I think ghostface is stronger than demo, but slightly below Freddy
-
Ghostface
hag
demogorgon
plague
legion
modt of the older killers need a Mori update they just aren’t as brutal as they should be, especially billy

I can't wait to get you in one of my games, you are going to love it!
I’m sure I will, especially if something as simple as a 3-gen baffles you

Oh awesome, so just guard 3 gens the entire game, never chase anyone except to keep them off those gens, and then report the players for not working on those gens.... See how far that gets you buddy.
And if he commits to a long chase it’s a guaranteed loss. He gets a smack in here and there and he’s still in the game. And HE CANT GUARD THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY. In that situation you split up and keep touching gens. He was doing objectives, you were going out of your way not to.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I had my first hostage situation today, as a survivor. We 3 genned ourselves, and the killer wouldn't stop camping the gens, not even to chase us down, so what are we supposed to do? Walk up to the killer and let him get 4 free kills? No we went to the other side of the map and waited until he DCd it's the only option.
In that situation YOU were the ones holding the game hostage. He cant be on all three gens at once, you could have split up and started on all of them. Bottom line he was actively doing his objectives and none of you were doing anything but wasting time. You should be banned and I hopes you got reported.

10/10-11/1 is what I hear

I’m on ps4 I swap between huntress, gf, demo, an I’ve been throwing in some plague and myers

@Blackowt_9120 Interesting. So, we can still kick a gen that the Entity has blocked via Thrilling Tremors?
You would kick it before you pick them up, you can’t interact with it either.
-
Corrupt intervention is really good but I think TT is better. Tt helps for the entire game and it’s a lovely feeling to be in a three gen situation, down someone, kick a gen thats almost completed and know it will be regressing for minimum 16 seconds
-
I started with huntress, the hatchets are actually fairly easy to get a feel for
-
i Love all the salt I get over psn, especially when someone dcs on the first down and sends something like “that was bs and you know it not wasting my time with you” because they don’t understand why their 360 didn’t work on a red rank game or they get smacked through a pallet. 3v1 is waaaay less stressful than 4v1
-
I prestiged ghostface and got crap perks until recently and people would still dc, especially if they get gen yoinked or stalked to exposed first. I was running T1nurses, T2 Tremors, T2 I’m all ears, and f*cking T1 lullaby until I finally ran across corrupt intervention. I just now on the 55th bloodweb found ruin and bbq and thankfully got both. What’s aggravating is I have been playing for months and have yet to dc once. I suck it up and take the loss, but to dc on the first down just baffles me, especially against a killer without ruin.
-
The trapper laid traps in obvious spots? He must be a hacker
-
@Attackfrog said:
Pallets are indeed op.
There is no way to counter and no perk to counter pallets.
Pallets are a survivor crutch and make killer role unfun.
Killers will leave in droves they get frustrated against survivors using pallets.
This game is dead if pallets don't get nerf ASAP.
Lol I can literally feel your sarcasm
-
But he can get into Freddy’s bloodweb and set a perk. He shouldn’t be able to do that... the offering doesn’t come into effect until the match starts
-
Interesting...

At a certain point blinking just becomes instinct and knowledge of range, much like knowing Hit/Lunge range. Nurse doesn't face any map related hazards beyond line of sight being broken
With Trapper you have to a comprehensive understanding of tiles, gen locations, and understanding of how the survivors in the match play
On top of minimizing time waste, knowing when to place down a trap, abandon it, pick one up. Trapper may have an easier skill floor than Nurse but his skill ceiling is easily way higher and more engaging than Nurse. There's a ton of depth and levels to Trapper's gameplay that Nurse who eventually boils down to blink and hit can never reach
Nah dude, everything you’re saying is wrong. Nurse has to know the map to blink correctly. In fact everything you said nurse doesn’t have to know or account for she has to account to the Nth degree over trapper. Trapper places a trap hoping someone will step in it over minutes of gameplay, nurse has to predict movements, playstlye, jukes, terrain, and obstacles at a particular moment in time. As far as map hazards, you mess up your blink you get stunned for longer than trapper stepping in his own trap.
-
im rank one and with the way matchmaking Is now I see rank 17 survivors grouped with red ranks, they typically don’t have a great time. Swf matchmaking now goes with highest rank in the group, not the average rank of the group
-
Huntress, ghostface, demogorgon, and plague. IMO everyone can be consistently viable other than wraith, clown, and legion at red ranks
im rank 1 btw, and got there with mainly ghostface, a bit of demogorgon, and a splash of huntress

Trapper requires more concentration, map knowledge, and reading than Nurse ever does
If you run into a Trapper main with as much hours as some of those Nurse mains
You will become paranoid at even the smallest patch of grass
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no
