Ultra rare add-on
Whenever the huntress readys a hatchet, all survivor auras are revealed that are 32 metres away from the killer.
I think it will promote skill shots and I don't think it will be too oppressive.
Maybe a possible replacement for iri? Or its own ultra rare add-on?
What do you guys think?
eh, kinda too strong

Maybe a piercing shot would be cool? like going through multiple survivors at once or going through walls?
the hitboxes for her are already garbage, i dont trust bhvr to do anything with them anymore
-
Because not opening a locker is difficult for the smoothbrains
-
If you self care, you are dead weight
it’s not hard to loop a killer in this current meta lol
-
Bhvr can’t do character models
they look like they got their heads slammed through a plate glass window
-
i main huntress
they are a crutch for bad huntress players, dont @ me
-
I play huntress
i hate 60% of them
-
I expected it to be like this originally
but I also expected the offerings to work sooo

I mean, quitting over the BP grind is understandable, its actually insane how bad it is, even after 1k hours it doesn't stop feeling like crap. I've had plenty of friends pick up and immediately drop the game when the realize the time commitment required to unlock all of the good perks, its really bad.
people saying he should've looked this up prior to buying should be ignored, name another game that has a grind that ruins the game this much, because even WoW isnt this bad.
-
Unbreakable is useful for the 35% faster pickup alone
MoM is a joke of a perk lol
-
honestly the worst part is crowns being their own cosmetic instead of being usable with other head pieces, that would’ve been special
ill keep to what I already have been using
-
And I've been called the n-word and such by killers
but killer good survivor bad, amirite?

I'm very sorry the devs didn't make all the maps easy enough for you.
I play mostly survivor now because of maps like haddonfiled
the map is ridiculously unbalanced lol, saying anything other than it needing a rework is objectively wrong; unfortunately, Midwich shows that won't be happening

I find most of your comments hilarious in their one sided bias.
pot, meet kettle
you clearly don't play survivor if you say things like:

This, the game is flawed at its core if tunneling is going to be seen as an issue.

Be patient.
I speculate that PH is just the start of a trend of killers and reworks over the next year that’ll totally make the “meta” much more risky, and less reliable for both sides.
Just a guess, but I feel fairly confident.
Ive been playing for 3 years waiting for things to change
As for your PH comment, thats a bigger issue;
What does PH do that shakes up the meta of perks? Having a power that deletes half of the only good perks is not a solution. I get sent to a box, with PH making a beeline back to me. I get saved, now what is stopping PH from tunneling me to death? DS? BT? nope, even exhaustion doesn't reset in a box, so you have ZERO defense against him. I bring this up because it has happened to me and my friends multiple times now.
You may say "jUSt uSE oThER pERKS" in which case:
a. I don't know what killer is being picked
b. the pool of perks that are actually viable is incredibly small
c. picking other perks does nothing to stop him from tunneling
The point of this post is to bring up what everyone knows but the devs only respond with "later" - 95% of the perks are completely useless or require a ridiculous amount of work to activate, resulting in the small pool we have, which is now even smaller given how PH can render half of them null.
-
it looks like an onion ring
needs more detail or particle effects, anything really
-
bhvr: legacy players are more important to us than you
also bhvr: oh yea cant give u lost legacy back LOL
-
At this point, Idk if i should bother grinding events
-
according to the forums and subreddit, its anyone who doesnt run in a straight line or plays with friends
-
I stopped playing killer actively a while ago due to the bugs and maps, probably 80-20 survivor nowadays, but still both at red rank
i stopped because the map design, additions such as breakable wall to shack, a killer who can negate the perks added specifically to counter being tunneled to death, countless bugs and more
i boot up DBD, sit at the menu for a few minutes contemplating if i actually wanna play, then close it and play something else

I'm back and as I thought, only a few challenges in each game. I was able to play 5 games.
Game 1: 2k against swf red ranks
Game 2: 3k against 3 red ranks and 1 purple rank
Game 3: 4k against red ranks
Game 4: 4k against green ranks
Game 5: 3k against another swf red ranks
So get good lol
you also made a post asking DS to be removed
so you aren't one to tell others to get good lol

I think the opposite is also true. PH shows us how much survivors suck without their 2nd chance perks. If anything I think PH teaches people how to be better survivors. Don't save a teammate right in front of the killer just because you have bt+ds. Wait for the bastard to leave or make the save when he's chasing someone else.
As for PHs that run directly to the cages to tunnel the saved person. Would it be a bad thing if PH couldn't see where the cages are?
those perks were added for a reason, killers shouldnt be able to get free kills or tunnel without some added risk or deterrent
saying "just play better" doesnt work when you play solo or if the killer sets out to tunnel you to death, now made easier through deleting the protection against tunellers that was added for that very purpose
-
this is the hottest take today lol
its the worst map yet, by far
-
adding breakable walls to shack is an example of how not to do it
a loop that rewards mindgaming, faking the vault, faking entering for the vault but you keep going and get an early pallet drop, window teching etc
all throw away with 1 button press to break the wall
-
who cares about 50k? its 1 bloodweb worth
-
tbh he is a perfect example of why DS is needed
being uncaged vs. a PH who beelines to it immediately isnt fun, no DS, BT, or Exhaustion reset to use as a defense
i really dont get how the devs dont care about this
-
midwhich
its all the problems of haddonfield and hawkins combined
-
-
Keys require n+1 gens complete for hatch to spawn
moris require 1 hook state
trying to compare keys to the power of even 1 mori is idiotic
-
paying for a skin that is 2x the actual bundle
omegalul
-
lol
-
this is quite a hot take
its wrong, but good on you
-
im curious of your definition of "god pallet"
the maps sucks for everyone
-
its incredibly lucky this game has no competition
-
this is one of the bigger issues with him, having no defense against being tunneled out of a box feels really bad
inb4 'jUsT aVoID tHE tORmENT"
-
A bunch of "maybe" or "we will talk about it later" and no info on bugs, boxes or the map complaints
same as usual

They did it with DC penalties, and i'm tired of hearing this argument.
Name a single other multiplayer game that allows you to sucide/remove yourself from the game while playing ranked.
DotA
LoL
CS:GO
Rainbow 6
Every MMO
All of these games have punishments for leaving games early or intentionally "feeding" (killing yourself on purpose) some of these penalties are extremely hefty. DotA/LoL/CS:GO will actually ban you for several days for doing it, and if you keep doing it your ban eventually escalates to permanent.
The moment you queued up, you signed up to play a game of Dead by Daylight. If you don't like the game or can't finish it, don't queue up. If you don't like how solo survivors play, play with friends. When you queued up for a solo queue game, you signed up for it.
Except the games you listed are balanced games with casual AND ranked modes
dbd is too unbalanced and RNG dependent to be in any way competitive, it’s a party game through and through
suiciding on hook is perfectly valid
-
The map is garbage because of how survivors can simply hold W and it takes the killers ages to catch up, and in the flip side, once the killer does catch up there are hardly and decent loops on the whole map. It also suffers from the same issue as haddonfield where you have great walls of China where the only option is to hold W up to catch up or leave them entirely.
-
If my team is doing nothing then I’m out
not wasting my time because you are too scared to play the game
-
“The map in terms of layout and design is amazing, anyone who hasn't played PTB isn't used to it and are usually the ones complaining about how much it sucks.”
I did play PTB, I played it on both sides, I said it sucked before and I will say it sucks now. It’s haddonfield on crack.
“Cheryl is a great character, all of her perks, especially Repressed Alliance, are pretty good with the exception of Soul Guard which is entirely situational.”
a perk that is bond 0.2 with a useless haste increase, and a perk that blocks gens that is only useful in the most specific of situations. Soul Guard is the best of them and even that is pretty weak.
“But no, let's bash the Killer and map because we don't know how to play the new content yet. Remember the same thing happening when Chains of Hate came out? Look how long all that died down when people learned what to do.”
there is nothing to “learn” with this map, it’s a 2-storied square building with 2 staircases in the corners of the map. You either spend an eternity holding W to run to survivors/away from killer or spend 10 seconds being chased to an unsafe loop, not to mention the bugs and seeming lack of polish, price of a skin being more than the bundle itself among various other issues and the criticism is deserved
-
Issue is twofold:
- more killers trying to get games due to PH being released.
- a lot of people, survivors included, haven’t been playing as much lately due to the bugs and issues with the new map and game as a whole
-
based on the bugs lately, I feel BHVR is doing a better job at killing the game than toxic players, let them play how they like
Source- someone who is targeted and killed for playing a gnome in wow
-
I main(ed?) huntress forever, after Hawkins I stopped playing killer a lot because her map dependence is extremely high
im not playing killer probably ever again, the lack of big fixes and the design of the new map solidified it- granted I only really play with at least 1 SWF to make it bearable
-
I’ve been playing for about 1-2 games before closing it due to the laundry list of issues lately
its insane this game is in this state
-
this gave me a good chuckle

I absolutely agree They have THOUSANDS of hours playing DBD and play it as a job, of course they are gonna be bored after a while.
It’s not the killer’s themselves but the game as a whole. Not even five minutes goes by on Zubat’s stream where he doesn’t use the word “boring” or I see a resident sleep emote in his chat. The pessimistic energy gets draining. Sometimes you just gotta ask yourself why you’re even playing if you’re THAT bored.
Because the game and meta has become increasingly stale
Maps with little to no mind game-able loops where you hold W to win or run to a dead zone and die, killers with powers that are not engaging or take luck to “outplay” (Freddy, Spirit) no alternative objective outside holding M1, no strong perks for either side outside the same 10 or so as always, the COUNTLESS bugs with the game, hit boxes still feeling like garbage, balance issues, and more
Zubat and Scott as well as anyone who has played for a long clearly like the idea of playing Dbd, but when you load into a match and have to deal with the plethora of issues I listed, it kills any desire to play
-
people say it would just lead to suicides as if that isnt already possible on hooks
it would be good for the game, but then again, so would bug fixes
-
You really think all of this escaped testing? It didnt, but gotta get that DLC out ASAP
as goblins in WoW say; "Time is money, friend"

Right now this is a pretty high tier survivor sided map. There are many pallets that are forced pallet breaks that then run into a long corridor in where survivors can just hold W which wastes a lot of time. If you're going to make corridor maps don't put pallets on it that force a pallet break that result into a continuous run without any counter play other than to keep running in a straight line.
Perhaps if you are near enough for a damned wave shot with Pyramid Head, and that's only if you are him or huntress really no other killer can really do anything about forced pallet breaks.
Also the double door break for the secret stairs in the corner of the map is too much just to go up. Please remove these breakable doors there completely.
there really arent alot of strong pallets
most are around tables that can be played normally, and that ironically makes the map worse- its awful for both sides
-
ive been using offerings to avoid the map on both sides
it really sucks
-
It shouldnt tbh, its another example of the design teaming overlooking/failing at something
If things like exhaustion not resetting, BT and DS not working out of boxes, then Moris should not either
add in things like Pop not proccing, and you have a whole mess of a mechanic that clearly was not thought out
