Survivor can stress me out sometimes because I jumpscare very easily (even other Survivors can jumpscare me!). However, Killer time is so relaxing. Although occasionally on two floor maps a Survivor will fall from the ceiling and jumpscare me there, too.
The Nightmare and Houndmaster and The Dredge, and The Onryo are by far the most relaxing killers for me.

Three? I only had the option to choose between two. Woman and a man. I voted for the guy but knowing the DBD community he won't stand a chance of getting the vote.
Some resolutions need to scroll down to see all options. We let the team know some players were not aware.

It's so cool to see how many people are on several platforms!

What a way to create goodwill with your community by posting this comment for… absolutely no good reason at all. Echoing the sentiments above, if the company you work for would actually address this failing, posts like these wouldn't be made so often. Real witty.
This was a reminder of the rules; bumping of posts is not allowed. No wit here, trust me.

Great news anyone still checking on this post. I reached out to BHVR support, and after answering some questions, I was able to prove I own both accounts/platforms, and they lifted the restriction one time. I just linked my Steam account with my PSN, so I'm good to go.
If you're having this problem, just reach out to their support team. They said they can only do this once per year, and even then, if it's too frequent they may not be able to. So make sure you're detailed and follow their instructions/answer their questions.
Hope this post helps anyone else facing the same issue.
I love a happy ending!

It’s really quite simple, I just pull out some cool/funny/pretty bird pics from all over the internet, to make people enthusiastic about the birds around them.
And then I get bird pics in return (no ai allowed). And I then get to ID those birds (also no ai allowed).
And even if one step fails, I still win ‘cause there’s still a bird on my screen.
Does this mean you want to see the bird that visits my yard everyday?

You have access to the "BHVR read" button right, just use that to let people know you saw their feedback.
I am just a Coordinator, unfortunately, and cannot hit the BHVR read button! <3

No need to bump your own post, the sarcasm was noted.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but we do take all relevant feedback to the team. As a part of the Community, it's up to the dev team to decide what to do with that feedback. We see everything, but replying to everything just isn't possible I'm afraid.

It's half sarcastic. A more genuine answer is that I hit peak addiction with this game around the time I joined here, but I don't have any social media so I liked that this was a seperate place to discuss just this one game.
But I do also enjoy lengthy arguments.
I appreciated the candor either way!
-
I wonder if this is moreso a mechanic some Survivor players aren't aware of. Do you feel like it's intentional that players are hiding in the anti-camp area?
-
@cogsturning said:
It's would be nice if there was a bit more regular engagement with the forum users so it felt like the place was seen. If many of us can find time to be here daily, so can the mods.
Apologies for my recent absence - I just got over a case of COVID. I'm here every day typically, this is one of my favorite places to hang out!

It's weird though. If unlinking is frowned upon, then maybe the option shouldn't be there. Weird I was able to "unlink" but then can't link to another. Again, my stupidity, but I can't imagine it's uncommon for people to forget that had an account before.
https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/28143341034644-Cross-Progression-FAQ
Once I have enabled Cross-Progression, can I unsync my platforms from the Behaviour account?
You are not able to unsync platforms from your Behaviour account once you have synced accounts. Player Support is also unable to circumvent this restriction on request.
This sounds like a frustrating situation, I'm sorry you're going through it. Keep us posted on what Support says!
Linking and syncing are different - but unfortunately the answer is the same for both cases.

Considering they are in the midst of recruiting new forum mods, it's likely that they are going to be very hands off with this platform soon lol
The new creators program would suggest that's where they are gonna get their feedback going forward.Just to clarify, we don't "value" feedback in this way. A creator's opinion is no more valuable than someone's opinion on the Forums, and X for example is not valued more heavily over Reddit or YouTube comments. We don't use the Creator Program as a means of shutting out other places for feedback. Just like a veteran player is not somehow more or less important than a casual or newer player. All feedback is vital.
We appreciate that it's frustrating to not see everything immediately addressed, but we do see everything and pass along whatever feedback we see so that the team is aware of community concerns and pain points. Replying to everything is just too difficult! But we try!

Oh oh oh! I know her!

These streamers you watch must be entertaining enough to distract you from xenomorphs gameplay unless you meant you watch streamers that play a variety of killers not just xenomorph.
Let a Balrog enjoy some content! 🤗

How can you watch streamers playing xenomorph without falling asleep? But then again, that's probably the only time anyone will ever see a xenomorph in the first place but not from the survivor's perspective. Lmao.
I watch 99% of streams for the community they offer, moreso than anything!
-
Maybe I just watch a lot of streamers with an affinity for the Xenomorph!

Unfortunately, it just isn't possible for us to be able to offer it outside of Steam. We really wish everyone could test the PTB, too.

Also both are DCing (Disconnecting) to clarify, one is punishable one is not
In the interest of clarity, that isn't the case, although semantically I understand what you're trying to say. Abandoning matches requires specific conditions to be met and is not the same as DCing.

I use an older phone. It opens up the web page but when it says to tilt the device so it can be wide screen instead of portrait it never triggers or detects that the device is on its side.
Had this problem since day one of this Grimoire and it's only been this site. My phone can detect if it's tilted or not just fine.
That's really unfortunate. I hope you're able to participate in some other way!

Maybe to 'DC' quicker or is it called 'abandon' now?
Getting old, I can never keep up with changing new words like, is it'tech' for 'exploit'?Abandoning a match is a game feature in certain circumstances. DCing is a negative gameplay behavior and is punishable in game. Just to clarify!

Just wanted to point, that we don't blame you or any other mods for developer's awful choices that were implemented into the game and people definitely should not throw a blame to any other side of players either if they're survivor or killer main. Everything that happens is on devs responsibility
And it's important to me that people share those thoughts here! <3

I would argue that players discussing why they've stopped playing the game as much, their experiences in playing the game contributing to that fact, and their frustrations at broken promises from the developers time and time again on the feedback forum for the game could not be more on topic or constructive.
This was in reference to uncivil commentary that is no longer on the thread; players are allowed to express their thoughts here regarding how they feel about the game positive or negative and it is not in my purview to censor anything unless it is a violation of community rules.
-
Please keep commentary respectful, on topic, and constructive.
