Can you use a styptic at full health now to tank a chainsaw or something? The insta part wouldn't matter if you're staying injured to be able to use one you'd be 1 shot without them using instas.
If you can styptic at full health now that'd be pretty good yeah.

I don't think you have to be in TR for the Endurance buff. It just says you can take a hit. Borrowed Time only GIVES you the Endurance buff if you're in TR. Think of this more like Mettle of Man, but controllable.

Except for the fact that you'll find Syringes far more often than you find Styptics because of the BS way rarity works. So now we're stuck with another red addon we have to look at in our inventory constantly. I'm more annoyed by the other addon changes though tbh.
You're misunderstanding what i meant. You'll get the endurance hit and be put into borrowed time/deep wounds state.
Even if successfully put into deep wound state against a killer that can remove TR like freddy you'll go down because the mend timer is tied to the TR.
So it'll work but you're guaranteed to go down in a few seconds even if you don't get hit again.

I wasn't being super specific by chase i meant following with the survivor right there in eye sight no moonwalk or anything.
So wraith/pig can crouch or cloak and follow until down and myers/ghost can chase until down? Implying the Ghost Face can keep his power up as well.

I don't think it's so bad that it needs to be disabled but its definitely not a good map for killers.

There are no official dates for them yet. We could see the first ones next Wednesday.
Unless tomorrow counts but it may not since its the same day as the patch.

I would never expect Predator since its getting its own ps4 exclusive 4v1 game next year from the devs of F13 the game.
Thermal vision wouldn't be a great power unless it was secondary like Ghost Face and Pig crouching.

You get punished for successful hits too. Pretty much you get punished for using your power in general now. That is bad design.
The whole "slight" change completely ######### with her ability. It seems small on paper but if you play with it daily, trust me it isn't a fun change. There are better ways to make her less powerful while also retaining her fun element.
Thats not the case at all. By the time you recover from the hit and fatigue both of your blinks are back.
There is no punishment the charge does nothing unless you're double blinking across the map. In a chase it isn't a factor.

They must've pulled a long weekend for us. If that was the case i hope they did it willingly and wasn't forced.
Bhvr is supposedly anti-crunch so it probably was opt-in if so.
Or the Friday update was written before Friday.

Everyone already knows how broken the game is and they still play it because its fun.
DbD is a very serious e sports ready game. It would be wrong to put it on Twitch rivals in its current state. Maybe next year when it's back at its full balanced competitive state.

I checked the DbD discord recently and @Peanits had said they're aiming for before Halloween.
He also said no promises though but its something thats their current goal but it could be missed.

Our plan was to release the 3.3.0 Mid-Chapter update along with the Withering Blight event on October 22nd, but due to some instability with the build, we decided it was best to postpone the launch until the major issues are resolved. We would like to take this opportunity to fill you in on what’s going on and where we stand with the 3.3.0 update.
What caused the delay
Given this is one of the largest updates for the game, including a large amount of changes and new content, some issues are unfortunately bound to pop up.
First, in order to support the new features, we needed to update the backend which handles everything behind the scenes, such as: Saving your progress, handling purchases, making matches, and much more.
We have also updated the engine to the Unreal Engine 4.22. The engine is like a foundation that the game is built on, and changes to the foundation can have an impact in other areas of the game.
While minor issues with minimal to no impact on gameplay can be saved for an upcoming hotfix, we are not comfortable with releasing an update while large issues are present.
What we are working on
Backend Issues
While updating the backend, we ran into an issue that prevented us from testing the patch on some platforms.
Freezes & Crashes
We have identified several crashes during the PTB and through our own testing. These crashes were too frequent for us to feel comfortable releasing the update as is.
Certification
Once we are satisfied with the update, we need to send it off for certification. This process varies from platform to platform and can take a few days.
What we have fixed
Some Instances of Crashing
We have identified and fixed the causes of some of the crashes mentioned above.
Various Visual Issues
During testing, we identified some platform specific issues that would cause textures to flicker or switch to low detail versions.
The Hag’s Power
We discovered an issue that caused the Hag’s traps to sometimes not provide the option to teleport once triggered. This has since been fixed.
F.A.Q.s
What happens to the Withering Blight event?
The Withering Blight event will still take place. The overall duration of the event will remain the same and the start and end dates will be shifted to match the release of the mid-chapter update. You will not lose any time in the event.
What happens to The Rift?
The Rift will still last for ten weeks starting with the release of 3.3.0. Like the Withering Blight event, you will not lose any days because of this delay.
To sum up, the team is working very hard to get the issues fixed as soon as possible. Issues like these can be unpredictable, making it difficult to evaluate when they can be fixed. We do not want to rule out the possibility of having the update ready next week.
Thank you for your patience and to everybody who participated in the PTB and reported these issues. We’ll be sure to follow up on this early next week. We’re as excited for the update as you are and we hope to have it available soon.

They said they pushed back the Q and A stream because they are busy fixing the bugs, so they won't be doing the stream until after for sure. There's no real date on their next stream, as far as I am aware any more. It was supposed to be this week. But may not be if they cannot get the update out and the bugs fixed.
It's basically all just a waiting game. AFAIK
Nah they still have a live Q&A stream planned for this week. It was announced after the delay happened. So it'll either be out Tuesday/Wednesday or they'll stop to do the stream in the middle of the rush.

At this point they're probably here to stay and they're waiting for the update to announce it/bring them to consoles.
The "test" has been up for almost a month all together.
Best to just accept that this is DbD for the near future. 🤷♀️

I only play on pc during ptbs so i can't say. I see survivors using head on a lot more on pc streams going for stuns.
Thats the only pc/console difference i've noticed. I never see head on users on ps4

On PS4 i see nothing interesting from survivors anymore just gens 24/7 and maybe pallet blinds.
Survivors used to body block/sabo/go for flashlight saves and so on but not anymore just do the gens and get out no attempt at cool plays.

They hit you before/as you were dropping it.
If you go for too many loops this will happen it is easily prevented by dropping the pallet earlier.

Do we really need more perks on top of the 6+ we get every 3 months?
1 perk alone adds 150k bp or so to every character.

not true. its a pain to get there but you can do it. this game is the whole reason i figured out how to navigate to the settings.
It must be hidden extremely well then i searched all of the privacy settings 10x over and couldn't find that or a way to deny party invitations.
Hopefully next year when next gen launches Microsoft makes their settings easier to find.
