Looks like it could be Jill Valentine. Red and blue are the police lights. Magnum Opus is Mastermind as someone else already said.
Seems the most likely if a licensed killer, if not than something original.

His changes have made him pretty formidable, I've played 6 games with him and gotten all 4 killed before they get more then 2 gens done. Have the screenshots for proof. Its a mistake to use his ability for kills, just like it is with the Pig. His ability gives the survivors something else to distract them from gens, on top of that you can hear them mending/being injured. Add sloppy butcher and you're easily tracking down the whole enemy team while they barely can mend themselves in time.
Every killer takes a little time to learn how to play properly. -
Have to consider that the killer can only really chase one person at a time, so yea the perks letting killer see survivors will be useful but it will also replace other strong perks and only help killer initiate chase against a single survivor. Not really that strong.

Make it a non-hex perk but slightly nerf it.
Instead of maxing to the point of no audible alert before skill check make it immediately following the alert.
Would make it still pretty strong without hex worthy. Would be an average tier perk at that point, which is a buff imo. -

That's debatable. Very debatable because there's maybe 6-10 people overall working on DbD on varying aspects of the game from coding, to QA'ing and designing assets. So, would let's say removing the number of pallets in certain maps cost -as you put it- a ton of money? Probably not because that would come down to 1-2 people figuring out how to do that. And they would save money in the QA process with a PTB.
So would it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to remove pallet lands and windows like you're trying to spin it? Probably not.

I don't know what country you're from where the currency exchange might be poor but this is a $20 game. It's actually a $10 game during a sale. Plus it just had it's highest number of players online at once at 46K during the Double BP Event. So try again. Plus there's no dedicated servers to host so Behavior isn't paying the bill for a server farm. They're doing very well right now.

Every game has complainers, Siege had diving and hacking but its a huge game. This game is a really highly played game for a small dev team and for being half priced of AAA games.Brady said:@Azakura said:

They've released $10 skins, and other DLC. Instead of putting that money towards use of resources, they state it'll be going for more future content.
It's an extensive overhaul, but look at these forums. Look at the Steam forums. Look at Youtube. It's all just complaints. That's it.
It's a lot for a $30 game, you're right, but I mean, if it means it'll improve the community, who knows.
The improvement to pallets not being able ti be dropped and slingshoted through was a huge improvement and helped a lot. Small changes like these are slowly helping with the balance ans the core game and I think it'll be best to not cripple the game with huge changes which might make it much worse. -

1 is way too long. Maybe 6 seconds max but that perk doesn't seem to add much 'fun' or 'value'.
2 the reason bbq and chili is long range is to prevent camping, so this would just create a camp skill around the hook. No bueno.
3 this perk again is way too long and also incredibly overpowered. Maybe if it was triggered once for 15-20 seconds, that could be something to work with but I dont think this kind of 'stopping gameplay' is fun either. -
Or maybe give her 2 hatchet with iridescent without being able to add more.

I've seen it happen once before, it got fixed by tbe killer downing the person (he was stuck half his body in a wall).

As a side note, I generally game 10 or so hours a week so a PC built for that would be some serious overkill. Grown ups don't dedicate that much time to games, or shouldn't. -
Most normal people end up having jobs and families, a console is much friendlier to these normal people. I was a PC player as a teen, while it is generally more fun and much better overall for gaming, a console can be easily placed near the tv and enjoyed by everyone in your family regardless of their technical expertise (hint, toddlers are generally not careful around computer equipment).Lowbei said:OMG does the console whines ever stop? just get a pc like normal people if you want to play real games.

Your changes are a nerf overall. She is fairly strong as is if played correctly.
Also, the RNG aspect of her is the best part. Its Jigsaw, you're supposed to be fearful of what's next. -

I pip 70% of games, double pip 10% of the time and safety pip 15%. I have a job and a busy life, but I play at least 10 hours a week and no it is not quick to rank up to 1 with that amount of hours. I've always been a huge fan of Dead by Daylight but after this I'll never purchase any DLC or cosmetics with real money. After almost a year on consoles and they either aren't competent enough or don't care enough to get updates right. F. That.

Gamestop doesn't offer straight up console trades. You wouldn't be able to get your PS4 back from them at the same price if you traded it in, you could buy the xbox preowned and return it but youd lose some money on the Xbox live (unless it offers a trial?) Yes it sucks but as a pc user as an example knowing the stuff might be delayed I kept spending my points so that when the bonus came out i'd be nowhere near the cap. I prestiged to lvl 2 my survivor main and she's just waiting to hit p3 now. I also leveled up a bunch of my other chars so that again I'd be able to use the bonus offerings when event went live.
If you really want the dlc and cosmetics it simple, go to Gamestop and trade in your PS4 for an Xbox, get the content play and when Sony actually releases it trade back.

That has never happened to me at least not to my knowledge. Are you hiding constantly without contributing much to the match? That's the only reason I could see them doing that to you.

It helps prevent or at least make camping one survivor more difficult to do. If the one who unhooks him takes a hit before hand then you can usually easily hit them again shortly after thry unhook them or chase the one thry unhooked and once you hit them they go down in 25 secs so just tail them if you please.

Survivor. I would need some kind of social interaction with others other then slinging people on hooks.
My perk would be 'Mechanical Mind'; having spent a life of dissecting how things work and putting them back together gives me twice as much generator progress from landing a great skill check. (Thatd be 10% instead of 5%).
Another would be 'Unwavering'; a lifetime of hardships has steeled me for these seemingly countless games of life and death. I take 4 hooks to be killed by the entity or the 2 stages of the hook take 10 seconds longer to progress, whichever comes first. -
I agree with not changing Reverse Bear Traps. I mostly play The Pig and she is already pretty strong. Her ability makes you have another objective to do and can cause status debuffs as well. A very strong ability, does not need to kill to be very effective.

Could have the number of crows you disturb to go towards a counter, once you disturb x number of crows you are revealed to the killer for x seconds. Lots of things you could do with this.

Maybe have a 20% chance of a crow that you disrupted to follow you and caw for 5 seconds, since it works for the entity.

Since when given the time frame was 2-3 weeks and GIVEN THE FACT THAT 3 WEEKS IS JULY 3RD the patch isn't late and they haven't screwed you. I mean talk about entitlement and whininess they told you why it was going to take that long, they said they found some issues with it so they were tweaking things for Sony.
They delayed Shrine just like they said until all platforms have the patch, and double bp isn't supposed to be for 2 days after the patch hits for PS4. Sony has na update planned for tomorrow so if it does come out tomorrow then you'll all look like a bunch of whining 2 year olds. If it doesn't then you can complain about BHVR unless it's something on Sony's end.
They probably haven't compensated anyone because duh they can't due to the following factors.
Xbox has patch but PS4 doesn't so compensating one without the other would introduce even more whining posts.
Since PS4 hasn't gotten the patch they can't compensate PS4 users because the game won't allow it, especially given the patch is going to change that.
Now I'd expect them to compensate with shards/bp of some kind both consoles sides once PS4 gets their stuff but they also want to make sure that if they add something in it doesn't cause more issues.

I love the change, you keep it used as intended which is to escape the killer and you get it back from taking a break from running from the killer. Makes sense gamewise and in a real sense.

You aren't thinking logically or playing the victim card. This is called self-entitlement. Big picture is you want something because they didn't do what you wanted them to do. Now I will agree with the idea that their public relations is extrememly horrible, and they have no open communication with their customers. Their social media game is very lackluster. If they do give anything it will be to all platforms, and will probably consist of something that was already scheduled that they will make it seem they where "hooking" it up.

Love the idea of a killer that scares survivors of other survivors. The first power and third perk should absolutely be implemented in some way for a future killer. Great work!

Funny how dev announcement said they'd give updates 3 days ago but haven't said anything since. Almost 2 full weeks without a word of any actual progress. There is absolutely no way they haven't heard anything. They clearly messed up cert and didn't want the community to blame them so they'll keep blaming Sony/Microsoft for taking so long.
