If a killer falls twice for a Q&Q locker hide, the killer is just to dumb for the game. probably never happens at green ranks upwards. also ho often are there games wirh SWF-Squads tryharding? Once a day at all played games in your own region? Stop this SWF-Squad bullshit, pls.
You'd be surprised how much a good Q&Q bamboozles even the best of Killers.

Get Nurses, BBQ, and Whispers. Whispers will help you gauge when to crouch. Nurses pairs very well with her crouch, and BBQ is BBQ.

While its well known that Uranium (element 83) is the 1st radioactive element on the periodic table, Bismuth (element 82) has a half-life of 147 quadrillion years. So essentially forever.

So why should survivors care for campers fun or venting childish tantrums? You already have the reward for leaving the hook reflected in emblems and you are being punished for camping. Also BBQ gives you incentive and bonus for multiple hooks in case you have not noticed.
You shouldn't care because you don't have a choice. I choose whether or not I leave the hook.

It should be discourages and that is what the purpose of this perk should be in the first place. Camping can ba a valid strategy when used properly but as of now it also ruins the experience of many players when killers camps with 5 gens to be repaired and Ruin is still on. This perk needs to be changed to punish excessive camping because right now it does the opposite.
Rant incoming.
I have no reason to care for your fun.
The new chapter is bringing in loads of new people. Campers don't care for your fun. They don't. Killers will camp to let off steam, or strategically. It's not something you should punish, however, I wouldn't be against a reward for leaving the hook.

Peanits I feel the timer should stop when killer is camping and no survivor is near 16m radious. The timer should reactivate if someone else is near the hook apart from killer - this is the way this perk should work to combat excessive camping.
Except camping shouldn't ever be punished.

Nope. Not how that works.
Oblivious is not linked with undetectable.
Want proof? Note the difference in these 2 lines:
"We intend to roll out this status effect to other existing powers, perks and add-ons, where relevant, in upcoming chapter / mid-chapter releases."
"Following this, we will include Oblivious in other powers, perks, and add-ons in later patches. "
The first says they are putting in the next patch where applicable.
The second says that besides the new Killer there will be new stuff in future patches for the status. AKA: Not the next patch.
Currently the only confirmed use of the Oblivious status is when a Survivor is interacting with the Demegorgon portals. The difference is that Oblivious effects a Survivor while Undetectable effects the Killer.
Undetectable is the one for stealth Killers.
Oblivious is a status that would go on things like 3rd seal or be applied to Survivors via attacks + addons like other statuses.
This.
Undetectable is a huge QOL for stealth killers. OoO shall be no more.
-
If it applied to running, you'd be faster than every M1 killer.
Only walking.
-
It's to give rescuing Survivors just a little more time to catch the Killer unaware. Ever had it happen where you die just as your buddy gets to you? Comraderie prevents that from happening.

Here we go again.

What about the pallets vault?
As I said: They specified not pallets, so it will not affect a pallet vault. It means genuine windows, and vault locations, aka things you can vault like windows but aren't, like ledges.

I guess so... They specified not pallets, so probably only windows.

But at the same time its wasted if the killer leaves you there for the duration of the time. And picks you up and hooks you. Now it's a wasted perk. And that is what happens most time. Not saying everytime but probably 68%
Yeah... That's called counterplay.

@Chaotic_Riddle said:
Short answer:
No.
Long answer:
No. DS is currently fine the way it is, as it is supposed to defend the Survivors against tunneling. If you get down after 60 seconds, then there would be no point in using the perk besides just getting a ‘get out of jail free’ card, as the Killer had wasted their time chasing you for longer than an actual minute and you bought your team enough time to accomplish their task. It’s perfectly fine and does not need a buff.
Thank you for speaking for a lot of us.

Get more than 100 hours, play killer a reasonable amount, and stop acting like an 8 year old, then talk.
Also, needs a TL;DR, kinda a mini wall of text.

I actually only bought the Freddy DLC like a month before he was reworked. I didn't like playing against Freddy, but then I played a Splinter offering and I had a lot of fun, despite him being weak. Got Meg and Bill to level 50, currently working on Ace.
Although most of my killers have been neglected, with most of my blood-points earned as killer going towards survivor.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/324/T90FJ68EPGX8.png
And only starting levelling up some of my killers as before I use to play killer perkless, but once I got to reds I realised playing against red rank survivors without perks is tricky (I got nurses calling in the shrine).

It's a valid strategy, but it's insanely unfun and unfair to the survivors you do this too. Just remember your not the only person in the match. If said person is tunneled and camped continuously why would they continue to play this game? So while a valid strategy it comes at the risk of losing a fellow player.
And why, exactly, should I care how much fun YOU have? Trust me, it's not losing players, that's absurd. The game has done nothing but grow. It's not my job to ensure fun. That's not a valid, in game reason. Any other arguments?
-
Wow. A genuinely well thought camping post
I completely agree with what you said. Because I play Spirit, I've actually been accused of """"long distance camping"""" multiple times. It's crazy.

Survivor(s) are not permitted to activate generators within 120 seconds of each other.

Because it simply is.
Prove that it isn't a valid strategy for eliminating one Survivor from the game, to create immediate pressure.

Nope that's not true the pig could tunnel the ######### out of you if the trap activated so it is balance.
You say this like tunneling is a bad thing.

I think you know what I'll say to this.
He needs a rework, not a buff, just a full blown Freddy treatment.

You only need nine hooks for Iridescent Devout. If one Survivor DCs, then you'll just have to hook each Survivor three times. I had to do that for Adept Plague.
I'll edit later when I have more time, but I really don't think that's right.

the gap between Solos and SWFs which is a huge problem.
Lobbies are still trash and its impossible to get a game unless you wait for another Ice age.
Second objective for survivors.
More BPs needed for survivors.
Some addons and Moris still break the game.
We will never get a werewolf or other non-humanoid killers because the devs are too lazy to create new animations.
75% of killer perks not being viable at red rank.
A good part of survivor perks that only need number changes.
The first cosmetic we ever got that actually had new visual and sound effects ( leather pig skin) forced us to buy the 20$ auric cells offer.
Cosmetics still cost 10$ which is straight up robbery.
Optimization is still bad for the most part, especially on console.
Graphics are so downgraded that this looks like a ps2 game.
Oof.
Do we always have to look at the negative side of things?
The game is as balanced as it's ever been, and it's only improving with every patch. There will always be problems. We know that. But lots of major ones have been fixed.
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Also, as long as you get a Merciless victory, DCs will not prevent you from getting your Adept.
If you haven't hooked the DCer, it will. Since you need 10 hook events to get an Iridescent Devout, it could significantly lessen the chances of a Double Pip. Makes it impossible at red ranks.
-
You must bring the 3 teachable perks (and ONLY the 3 teachable perks), and you must double pip. You can bring add-ons and offerings.
-
@QuickStiQz said:
Seems like you will be able to close the portals looking at the second picture. Hopefully something not portal related makes up for this, cuz just teleporting and having your portals closed would be a worse version of the new Freddy.
The 2nd one looks like they're caught, which can be HUGE deal, if he has a pressure (teleport) plus chase (trapping). Sounds like a Hag like power.
