I love her power, but her Condemned effect is useless. And the fact that survivors can remove her ability to teleport is a bit ridiculous. She also struggles on maps like RPD and The Game due to the amount of pallets and how big they are.
She definitely needs some buffs.
-
I play both sides, but I've been playing killer more lately.
-
I agree with most of this. The Realm Beyond changes were a mistake and it completely got rid of one of the things that made DBD unique, which was its art style. Taking the whole "realism" approach and completely changing everything was a big mistake and not needed.
Then they release killers like Trickster and Twins whose powers were complete garbage on release and haven't paid attention to them since (Aside from the Twins nerfs). And then OP perks come into the game and then get nerfed to the ground, like old COH and Mettle Of Man. The useless "buff" for Clown and the unnecessary nerfs to Deathslinger and other killers. It seems like they do focus on balance to some extent, but they don't know how to balance things half of the time.

The Onryō (Sadako): Dead Man's Switch/Hex: Plaything/Call Of Brine/STBFL.
Survivor: Slippery Meat/Inner Strength (Inner Healing)/Decisive Strike/Counterforce.

Most of my solo games general. I swear the amount of camping Bubba's have increased drastically.
-
Kind of, but not too much. I dress my survivors up for Fall, Halloween and Winter I also occasionally dress them up for summer, too.
-
Eh, those stopped being funny since the 4th one. Now I just find them annoying and unenjoyable with stale and unfunny humour/jokes.
-
Not on YouTube, but I've been on a popular DBD creators stream twice. Both were fun matches.
-
Flashing lights give me severe headaches, so I wouldn't mind this being changed. And the same can be said for Doctor's power effects too (The flashing on the screen). Flashlight macros have 0 benefit gameplay wise and exist just to torment the killer. Things like this shouldn't be in the game, especially when it affects other's health.
-
I guess it's because there's so many challenges you can do when playing as a certain character (especially as survivor) and they didn't want to repeat any challenges from David's previous tome.

I totally understand the frustration and I made posts about this as well. I don't think it's a bad thing at all and I completely understand the intention.😊
Thank you. 😊
I feel like I'm annoying everyone with these posts, but I don't mean to annoy people with these posts, I'm just trying to make a point. This hacker situation is out of control.
-
It seems to me that the new survivor (Which I'm assuming is Haddie Kaur) is investigating a house in The Garden Of Joy realm and maybe found journal entries or something related to "The Fold" written by the new killer. And maybe the cassette tapes reveal something about different realms or something?
And I'm guessing the new killer could've owned the house or something and they were researching different dimensions and "The Fold" is one of them.

If everyone does this the forum would explode, it might make BHVR more aware of how much of an issue it is tho.😂
And that's also one of the reasons why I keep making threads about the hackers I come across. To make it known and to show how much this actually happens. I'm very annoyed by the hacker situation and BHVR has done nothing about it, so I'm just making it known that this happens a lot more than you would think (Even though probably almost everybody already knows this by now).
I get that it's kind of annoying, but I'm just documenting my hacker experiences so I know how many times I've actually faced them. Feel free to ignore them, they're just for documentation. :-)

Please do make a thread for every single hacker you play against! Very helpful!
I just do it to document everything. Feel free to ignore it.
-
Congrats! That's a lot of work and dedication.
-
Bubba and Trapper. There's also Hag, but I do play her occasionally.
-
Doesn't surprise me, tbh. And I have a feeling we're going to have to put up with this like we had to put up with the unreachable totem in Haddonfield.
-
I knew there was a totem spawn there and when I saw that fix I was like "What the heck, BHVR?". This is one of the most laziest fixes for a bug I've ever seen and it just caused more problems for the game.
-
I mean that's what the reagent offerings are supposed to do (Murky Reagent - Highest amount of fog) and for some reason it only works on Eyrie Of Crows. The rest of the maps the Fog is just dark dust clouds.
-
It's ok. Not too bad, not too good. But at least it doesn't hurt my ears and it's not headache inducing.
-
Thank you as always. This will help me save up BP for the next new chapter.
-
Alessa and Cheryl are the same person, so they are supposed to look alike. But in DbD, it's literally just Cheryl dressed up as Alessa.
-
Yeah it takes forever to gain them once you reach around level 30 or so. There needs to be better ways of obtaining shards.
-
I'm guessing this might be hinting at a new map. Maybe like a mansion/estate of some sort?
-
Killer sided because of the large dead zone (The street) and the minimum amount of pallets. Really strong house loops if you know how to run them, though.
-
No, I'm just waiting for improvements to DbD. Sure there's going to be other multiplayer/asymmetrical horror themed games, but I like DbD and it's lore and characters, so I don't think I'll ever flat out uninstall the game.
-
Not sure if they're going to be exclusive or not, considering certain cosmetics that were exclusive before became available for everyone.
However, I don't think the Prime skins aren't worth it. The cosmetics seems kind of lazily put together and rushed. Not to mention that Artist's Prime skins should've just been available in the game store, considering she didn't receive green rarity cosmetics on her release like every other original killer did.
-
I'm pretty sure that's not in the full outfit, so why is it there? That is going to bug me if I decide to wear this head with any other shirts that don't cover it.
-
It looks like it could be in one of the older Fallout games (3, New Vegas). But even then the older Fallout games look better than this.
-
Although it's a little lacking compared to his previous chase music, I like that's it's easier on the ears and not headache inducing. I like it a lot.
-
This is just ridiculous. This game is becoming unplayable because of these hackers. And you can't leave the match if you face one because you'll get punished for it by the stupid DC penalty. And on top of all of that, reporting them literally does nothing.

I bet your a great artist (and no I don’t mean the killer lmao)!
Thanks, but I'm not really sure about that. 😆
I still have issues with shading with colors and drawing certain details (hands, feet, and shoes are the worst), so I'm still learning how to do those things. It's a process worth learning, though.
-
Yeah, I really don't see the point of advertising cosmetics that aren't on sale.
-
I would love to enter, but as a learning Artist my art still needs a lot of improvement. Really excited to see some of the entries, though.
-
The Hatch isn't a "free escape", it's to give the last survivor a chance at escaping. Once the killer closes it, it's nearly impossible to open an exit gate unless you get really good exit gate spawns.
The hatch is fine, it doesn't need removed.
-
Usernames that are just dots or blocks. Most of the time they're hackers and I don't want any part of that.

I like the idea for the hex. Only change the name cuz it does not revive, it protects, just like undying.
The scourge hook collides with pain resonance kinda and as for the scourge hook perk, this one is particularly weak.
It's hard to say how i feel about the third perk. First of all, I like the undetectable here. I'm not sure if Killer instinct here is a good idea. Once you tell me the reason for the Killer instinct, i will tell you then if it's okay.
For now, not a bad effort :)
Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. And yeah, I couldn't really think of a name for the Hex perk so I just went with whatever came to mind.
But the Scourge Hook perk could just be changed to a regular perk so it doesn't collide with Pain Resonance. But it would probably have to have a different activation method.
The killer instinct is mainly to get a good idea where the survivors are. Like if a survivor was sabotaging a hook, it could help by knowing they're there and going to a different hook.
-
No thank you.
-
Visually, the map looks really good. It looks like it was pulled straight out of the Halloween movie.
But gameplay wise? It isn't the best. The street is a huge dead zone and it takes a millennium just to cross it. There's little to no pallets and the windows are really hard to use because the killer will just catch up with you no matter what.
-
I would put her in D tier in terms of fun. She's one of the worst killers to go against, along with Blight.

I still haven't recovered mentally from Yun-Jins neon nights wig
One of the worst hair pieces ever created. Honestly her Neon Nights outfit is bad in general (save for the jacket because it can actually go well with some of her other cosmetics).
-
Zarina, Yun-Jin, and Yui need more cosmetics. They've only received like 1-2 good skins and that's it. :-(
-
Artist can provide early map pressure and locate survivors fast with her power. She also can injure/down survivors from far away and can shut down almost every loop in the game.
Pyramid Head doesn't get that early map pressure and survivors usually don't run into his Trails Of Torment. It's also very easy to predict his Punishment Of The Damned and some times it doesn't even hit a survivor when it's supposed to.
-
This map sucks for both sides. One of the worst maps in the game. Just delete it along with Shelter Woods and Wrecker's Yard.
-
The only thing I dislike about it is the 10000 mile street. It takes about a millennium to cross it.
-
Deja Vu can be a good beginner perk, but even then Visionary would be better to use.
-
I know Lery's, Midwich, and all of the Coldwind Farm maps very well. I still get a little mixed up on the Macmillan and Autohaven maps (Save for Coal Tower and Wretched Shop). But if it's RPD, Eyrie Of Crows, or Haddonfield then no.
-
I hate chain blinds as well. There's no point to them either, they're there just to taunt the killer. But as much as I hate flashlights, there are many counters to them.
Use Lightborn or Franklin's Demise, look down (For some reason looking down works better than looking up or turning around), or just dodge the lobby all together.
-
I hate flashlights, so usually I would dodge the lobby all together. But if I stay, I usually bring Lightborn and sometimes I'll bring Franklin's Demise along with it.
