Test me. If my theory is wrong I wouldn't be able to give an answer.
-
And my wendigo theory did fit. Test me.
And the whole thing about how did the legion kill the skiier was a joke. I know he must have done it but you didn't even recognise it was a joke. -
@Crow so making a prediction and defending it screams mental illness to you?
For your information I am one of the most sane people ever according to me, myself and I.
Seriously though I was excited as I knew it was possible. You can't seem to tolerate excitement though. You like many others seem to get a buzz from shooting down people's want for something creative and innovative.
The reason why others didn't come up with their own theories is likely down to the likes of you and the others who can't seem to want to cooperate just Shun the whole theory without even wanting to understand.
You talk about mental illness or whatever. What is wrong with these people who want to prove me wrong just to feel good? I cannot be wrong in theory because future content is undecided and it's a chapter idea which makes sense to cover. -
@Orion I dismissed all criticism which said evidence didn't support my theory. Just like now because it did support my theory. And you're still saying it. They went with another killer but this doesn't prove my theory wrong. Just that the killer wasn't even covered at all. It could turn up in the next chapter and it would fit perfectly.
Can you explain the dead body of the skier and make a link to this killer? Because with how weak this killer is I don't see the legion killing that skiier to DEATH. Your theory is flawed. -
Lolololol this idiot said the new killer could be a Wendigo when its not. @AshleyWB Lololololol
My idea was creative, you just assumed oh a mad man with a knife was the killer in one image and you went with that because you were 99.9% right not because my idea didn't make sense. -
Whoever thinks I'm obsessed just because I'm suggesting something and dismissing unfair criticism. I have to question What is it that you are hiding? You must have something deep down inside you that you feel the need to deflect your feral nature upon an unsuspecting avatarless civilian who is making a suitable prediction.
For the record I'm not obsessed with wendigos. If the next teaser makes me think oooooh Slender or oooooh Noo-noo from teletubies then I will get excited and look for clues supporting my theory. Especially when I'm the only one making a meal if it.
My theory wasn't wrong because my whole idea would have fit. However they didn't go with a wendigo because they probably would have had to put a lot of work into it. This new killer the legion has a more simple and aggressive playstyle which was probably needed.
Maybe next year. Or before then would do. -
I'm letting this wendigo talk slip. Your the one bringing it upm and the fact that you say there was no evidence just shows how little you have paid attention to this thread.
-
Huge survivor buff = delete killer.
Technically that's a killer nerf. -
Wendigos are human but transformed after cannibalism. Similar to hag but more physical and devastating. Easy lore and nice snowy mountain map. THEORY - they made Ormond a realm right?, more snowy maps and possible new killers coming related to snow and stuff? Omg. Maybe but really far fetched😀
-
Whatever you're into there is a legion for all of you.
-
I just think Feral frenzy is most useful as a tracking tool to find survivors in the terror radius while keeping track of where the guy you're chasing is.
The key to getting results to me seems to be end chases then sneak back up to injured survivors when they need healing or mending. Except you don't wanna use frenzy because its not lethal. -
I miss Robin Williams.
-
When you say WE TOLD YOU SO. It wasn't your theory. You stole it from someone else and believed it. It happened to be true because it was the obvious option. The killer was right there in the mirror.
As for my Wendigo theory. The pieces and clues did fit. Apart from the we are legion caption in a dev tweet.
From how basic this killer seems I'm kinda glad we didn't get a wall/tree climbing wendigo who can charge and pounce on people because it needs a lot of time to make that kinda thing work well.
The legion is a fun but oddly underwhelming killer in it's current state but I have trust and faith in the devs to resolve this in time.
I'm happy about the new survivor and I love his upcoming face cosmetic which was leaked. I won't spoil what it is because imma spook you with it.
I will still make far fetched predictions and look at unexplored possibilities for future content in teasers and whatever.
It was a really nice feeling knowing what I suggested was possible but the devs chose something else over it.
This killers main draw is probably the customizable options and making outfits would be more likely to benefit the game over a wendigo which would likely be near naked. -
Nurse given chainsaw. Can blink to location and chain with a chainsaw hit before being stunned.
Next - Dwight (lockers) -
Multiple hits in frenzy should be more lethal. A psychopath who has a lust for stabby stabby shouldn't be like "ok I stabbed you 2 times, I need a rest"
Chain attacks shouldn't have a cap of 2 hits then power drained. -
I like seeing people dc because it makes me take it easy as killer. I'll be there chainsawing the floating body for a while until I feel the remaining survivors have had long enough to make up for the dc.
-
When you hit a ds, the killer only drops you because you poop on his face and he's like ewww gross. Tier 3 is the most violent kinda poop which is why it stuns for longer durations.
-
I want a tournament dedicated to finding the BEST LEATHERFACE IN THE WORLD
-
Body blocking is about strategy and baiting the attack as a survivor. On the farm map I vaulted down the tractor onto the pipe thingy leading to the corn. The doc bodyblocked then went for a hit twice. Missed both times and then the gap appeared to run past him.
Satisfying plays cam come from killer sided tweaks to maps. Not everything needs to be perfectly balanced. Things like tiles which are more dangerous to survivors create tension and fun. -
Lockers would take too long to be used as a feasable mechanic imo. Maybe each gen represents a stance.
-
Yes, complete the ritual but do not press accept on the completed ritual.
When you next open daily rituals it should appear in green saying claim on it. -
I'm going for The Wendigo (original killer) just to add another reasonable option. Likely a mad man with a knife though.
-
Those secret transcripts...Who in the right mind talks and puts the 3 dots...Like just do full sentences...It doesn't look real...and I think whoever made it...wanted to make it look...like it was...an official dbd dev person writing it...
-
Some guy who claimed I face camped as Freddy ended up calling me a noob and when I replied to him saying his argument made no sense he said he reported me for racial abuse because he was playing Claudette and he has video evidence I was "cleansing survivors" as he put it.
Literally the fact that these people think its ok to accuse you of the stupidest things is actually worrying. Especially whenever I'm feeling a little sensitive little accusations and comments can really make me upset. I still report and block them. -
Iron will and resilience are a nice stealthy objective combo plus urban evasion.
-
I disagree. Calm spirit is still kinda a wasted perk slot even against the doctor.
You can still see the screams pop up notification but cannot hear the survivor screaming.
Honestly you are better off having a swf using calm spirit than the usual meta perks which are more favorable to them.
Just learn how to play doc with more experience. He's not the strongest and is quite difficult to get a grasp of than most killers. -
Make your choice + BBQ
Noed + Rancor (Evil combo)
Nurses calling + sloppy burger
Stridor + Whispers (if you pay attention)
--------------------------
My personal dirty survivor perk build
Dead hard, decisive strike, Deliverance, any other perk...maybe iron will. Even dirtier as Claudette emersed edition. -
I personally play Leatherface with BbQ and make your choice. I see if you want to make a save but I know i will make you pay for being altruistic. I go full on aggressive mode as Leatherface. I get labelled a camper even though I am the exact opposite.
-
Leatherface works exactly the same as any other killer but people assume he takes less skill because around the hook he can dominate hardcore. If play in the same way as you would with any other killer then Leatherface would be better than hag and spirit as he's faster and is sheer aggression. If there are no pallets and vaults give it a few seconds and bam...you're down by his chainsaw.
-
One thing I will say is that for as long as survivors label killers as campers so easily without any proof or logic, Camping shouldn't be penalized heavily. Too many fair players would be punished for playing with logic and defending hooks whenever it is reasonable to.
Camping is less of a problem now than it has been before. All it takes is a new perk to be made which gives a delayed notification of the unhook taking place. (Token based) Could also work on failed skill checks of all kinds. -
To be fair anyone who rates leatherface lower than the standard mid tier killer clearly has something against him. He is the best defensive killer by far and if played well he can brute force his way through teams ripping them apart faster than them doing gens.
-
I thought you misspelt Ranking and I came here to see if people were like heh, what an idiot. Yanking is actually a nice way of describing a grab.
-
I heard its a wendigo *hides*
-
LF ultra rare - Manual overload - mash the action key to continue revving a charged up chainsaw. Adds upto 5 seconds of extra chainsaw time. Hitting an obstacle results in the addon being lost.
-
Oops I forgot Nea
-
Console Killer Tier List:
Very Easy - Hillbilly
Quite Easy - Clown, Myers
Medium - Huntress, Spirit, Nurse, Trapper, Leatherface.
Quite tough - Pig, Wraith, Hag, Doctor
Freddy tier - Freddy.
-
Swamp is too moist.
-
My favourite map is Groaning storehouse and Ironworks of misery, I feel I can relate to them.
-
I think not queen was going to show off the winter lobby theme in the last dev stream but she didn't have the right link. It might have been something else but for whatever reason I thought it was that.
-
Hag ultra rare add on - Pertification sigil - survivors who set off traps are frozen in place for 30 seconds or until the killers heartbeat is heard. Sets max traps to 3.
Ultra rare hag add on - tempered earth - traps automaticaly retrap themselves 5 seconds after they are initially triggered. Max traps is reduced by 5. Increases teleport range. Moderately reduces field of view. -
Likely there is a separate department working on fixes and a department working all around the new dlc chapters.
-
I always get really nice German people telling me I did really well and complimenting me.
Almost impossible to tell where someone is from on xbox. -
I expect this chapter to be the mad masked guy but I wanna see something wendigo like in the future. Even the noises they make are terrifying.
-
Don't make me say it
-
Too much faffing about with installing the ptb and uninstalling it after finding no matches.
-
Did somebody say Wendigo?
-
It's unfair for me to label every knife killer with being a myers reskin JUST like it's unfair to say a wendigo killer would be a reskin of hag.
Freddy has claws too is he a reskin of hag no. As you said its the nechanic that makes a killer.
There is so much that can be done with a wendigo as killer. Climbing then dropping on someone would be nightmare fuel. A mechanic which makes it so survivors running power the killer up kinda like bloodlust. Imagine the pig ambush attack except its above you ready to pounce from the next room. I have pretty bad ideas but there are so many others which will work a dream. -
Actually I just think the whole idea of a wendigo is pretty universal and would be a creepy killer in a game getting lost in killers which are there for novelty reasons and being just fun.
It would enable new interesting gameplay mechanics to work. I don't want a man with a knife as killer because I bet they are similar to myers who is his own character. -
Every single clue.
The one you are pointing out with the names on the walls I suggested being days survived trapped after an avalanche or something like that happening. Days survived until being forced to eat eachother to prevent starvation. Susan in this case died earliest so I suggest she was injured in the avalanche and died shortly after obtaining injuries.
I still think a wendigo as a killer makes sense and would be sick and I'm hanging on to hope that they went with it.
I realise some of you are sticking with the safe bet by saying its a mad man with a split personality like everyone says it is just for the sake of being right. I want something creepy really bad and a man with a knife is just so bland. This is the perfect opportunity for a wendigo and I would hate for noone to say "hey, devs see me here I want a wendigo as killer so bad. It would add that layer of horror which is desperately lacking.
I'm not obsessed I just want to show the devs or whoever that a wendigo has a genuine place in this game and anyone comparing my idea to the hag just because she's a wendigo like creature then all I say is that ideas can spark new opportunities for a better diverse gameplay and mechanics. The wendigo could scream its own existence to you. A wendigo isn't a creature that places traps and teleports, a wendigo is some weird clicky cracking creature with no sense of humanity which hunts and stalks its prey. The hag is a sorry excuse for a wendigo killer because in essence she's just a shriveled up old woman who knows a bit of magic that's it.
