You said it grants you a free hit from the exposed effect, how? If you’re at full health and exposed, by Haunted ground for example, it isn’t giving you any protection.
Duh. What's the point of this argument? Same thing applies to prior nerfed Instas. You use it obviously when you're injured. The difference is that instead of healing one health state back then it gives you a Endurance status effect now meaning you can take one hit from Exposed instead of your Insta being pointless since it just gives a Health state Pre nerfed.
Purple Add on right now is arguably better, They worked and give the same conclusion. It lets you tank a hit but the purple as of now is more versatile in its function.

For some reason survivors keep throwing every pallet down and wasting the best ones, and it is working better against me than the people playing properly. Idk why it's working but I can't really knock it.
Guess you just got used to going against people who knows how to utilized great tiles so you don't expect them to throw it immediately lol.

You can’t use it unless you’re injured, so it wouldn’t protect you from a Chainsaw but if you’re a t full health
What? Of course you can't use a Medkit when you're not injured lol what are you on about.

They're not insta heals. One is 8-16 seconds and the other doesn't even heal you.
Got used to calling it with that term but you do understand my point ,ya?
-
Nothing evident about it. Only reasons killers are popping now because survivor skills are at an all time low. Incompetent mistakes after incompetent mistakes in red ranks, It's unbelievable. There's a reason why SWF are the only thing killers complain about because the actual good survivors who has Match sense and knows how to loop properly without using pallets is banding together because Random queue is that horrid of an experience.
I could play a single match with Bond on Solo queue Red ranks and point out multiple stuff that just makes it harder for the whole team.
-
You can decrease the 16 seconds depending on your healing speed boosted by add ons or perks by the way.
-
Insta heals are still good. If you're a good survivor and not using a Syringe like a dunce 16 seconds should be an easy time to cover.
Purple add on is arguably better, It actually grants you a free hit from Exposed effect now since it's endurance instead of one healed state.
-
@Cheers said:
Would you say it's worth the trade with bond though?
I don't really need it. Confident enough to ran around injured and if things gets tough I have one common medkit usually per match. There are ways to not bother other survivor on doing generators in most cases anyway.
-
Forever Freddy is impossible to beat with randoms and this coming from a Freddy main.

Yeah, you know, actually playing the game and survive.
Stealth during his only 50 seconds of actually being able to do something so you can treat him like every M1 Killer.
Actually doing Gens helps you to win.
Unless the Oni is stupid and got dominated that badly by the survivor matches aren't going to go like that. You got so immersed that you forget this is a team game with randoms.

Random queue is hell because of swf (nobody left) and the dev's catering to the survivor community and their vision of "FUN" with easy pips to keep them spending money in the cash shop.
Who doesn't like to "win" even if they die?
Random queue is hell because of potatoes.
-
Survivors in red ranks are stupid. It's an all time low recently. No one actually knows how to last in a chase or loop properly, Just drop the pallet as soon as possible. People still opening exit gates when there's a last survivor getting chased and no one can do Ruin. And the list goes on and on, Go run bond and see how incompetent mistakes are riddled everywhere.
It's ridiculous, No wonder the kill rate is so high because of Survivors are getting dumb skill wise. When we have killers like GF or Wraith popping. That's a yikes
All the good survivors are jumping into SWF and I don't blame them. Random queue is hell.

As posted by another person on the forums earlier today, Tru3 has a video on it already.
So what do I against an Oni with his ability on?
All I learned is that its easy to loop a Killer without an ability(What a surprise!). Hope for a teammates to do most of the important stuff.
Gotcha.

Increasing gen speed is lazy as ######### and no one wants to hold M1 longer than it already is. Add more objectives.

I’ve been playing on the PS4 for about 2 months now. I started off as killer and noticed how easy it can be for the killer to win, although that’s the whole point in a sense.
I actually made it to Rank 4-5 as a survivor. Which I think is a lie. I feel more like an 8-10 at times. What I’m starting to see is that unless the killer is really bad at the game the team cannot win. No amount of juking, looping, flash lights, etc helps because the killer has a myriad of perks AND addons that hinders not only the team but also the environment that the survivors need to survive. Most of the survivor perks are too situational to be useful, or makes little difference. I don’t really complain about Hex Ruin because Ruin helps keep players from gen rushing. I don’t even play without Jake’s Iron Will because even if they fail to see all the scratch marks and blood they snuff me out because they hear me crying in the corn or behind some object. Unless you run all of those “meta” perks. Which then makes the hame boring. I want to play as an altruistic healer type guy, but it doesn’t matter because meta wins.
I simply feel that for survivors the game is too focused on particular perks that, without them, you lose waay more often. Like if I hit a killer with a pallet maybe it should slow their speed down to survivor speed for a few seconds. I just slammed a 35-45lb object onto your head. Yet after being stunned you’re on my ass again in like 5 seconds. Whereas when a player gets hit they leave blood, red marks, AND noise! On top of that killers like to run perks and addons which makes pallets ineffective or useless too.
What I really want to see is a buff to the survivor perks to make them all worthwhile. Why run anything like Head On when perks like Borrowed Time, Balanced Landing, and Dead Hard help you escape. Lol
Sorry, Killers are only as strong as survivor's are stupid. I have played Random queues throughout my whole DBD life by the way.
Run bond and you'll be surprised at how much incompetent mistakes are getting thrown out there in the red ranks, It's ridiculous.
Killers are not getting strong, Survivors are just getting stupid skill wise. The good survivors are banding up and joining SWF because Random queue is just that horrid and it's rare you actually see a survivor who knows what he is doing.
Your suggestion on pallet slow just shows how little understanding of distances in this game works. Not trying to be mean, Just saying how it is. Once you get experience enough you'll realize how good a pallet stun is creating in distance, There is no need to buff it. Heck pallets aren't the only thing that widens distances, Windows and weird pathing to throw killers off works.
-
When I play as a Killer that just want to have a chill match I'd get every SWF that is just decked with tools but when I play on Survivor I'd get every potatoes in existence that I'm just baffled why these guys are in red ranks.
-
You can also semi infinite light burn Wraith now. This game is great.

I love how many people don't get the joke.
But in all seriousness, on the topic of flashlights, I think that they're very powerful in the right hands and in the right situation. The only situation where a flashlight would be my first choice of item is if I somehow knew the killer would be The Hag. Hag aside, the only viable uses of flashlights are at pallets and windows, and as the killer is picking up a survivor. In the first situation, you're usually better off making distance rather than trying to get a sick juke. In the latter, you need to be in front of the killer as he picks someone up, and you have to get the timing just right. And if the killer figures out you're nearby before he starts the pickup animation, they'll just go after you.
Yeah I'm genuinely surprised how much jokes pass people's head in these forums.

Speaking of the devil.

I actually love it when Survivors bring flashlight since majority nowadays have no idea how to use it. Just saves me the time to initiate a chase on another survivor across the map.
@darktrix said:
Really? I estimate a good 90% of the people that bring a flashlight have no idea how to use them anyway and just let you know where the next survivor is after you hook the one on your shoulder.
Blind at pallets? You still got ears.
Yes, That's the joke. Slight annoyed playing as a survivor instead of generators being done a guy was following me for a long time just waiting for me to get downed and still fail miserably at the flashlight save. Worst case scenario they also give the killer a free hit.
Bright side is I get a free flashlight after every match I guess.
-
I remember when everyone was losing their minds on the Stranger thing's new perk combo saying it was gonna be the second coming of mettle of man lol
-
Pretty sure literally all the meta perks has been on the shrine in the recent months.
Rip, Chief.
-
Bring more monsters in the game. Demogorgon actually brought back that sense of dread I lost because I got experienced with the game. He looks and sounds terrifying hearing those stomps and roars across the map just sells his image....of course he's loopable so rip.
-
Did they Nerf Freddy?
I mean the new reworked one
-
Being a survivor is all about abusing the killer's good will. Literally a killer has to follow the point system but he could very much demolish most teams if he wanted to play dirty well as long as it's not SWF.
Regardless you get insulted whether you're playing nice or not, So shrugs I guess.

Having played both Killer and Survivor, I'm amazed that people complain about camping but choose not to punish it. Some will even badmouth you if you choose not to go for a suicidal basement save after the exit gates are open and the Killer is clearly camping.
I think people who got camped deserves to complain about it at least. It's not fun for the one getting camped but I'm also annoyed that this plays made by the killer is getting rewarded by the rest of the survivors. Like I'm just face palming at how many times I have lost matches where there was one or two generators left but survivors tackled the camping scenario so poorly and ended with the killer getting a 4K and this in or near red ranks.

Again I can read and just don't disagree.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not, you're litterraly no one to decide if it's a good way to act or not.
Anyone with a brain cell should know when it's good to body block or not. Yes, Cost the whole team the game will ya. Pretty sure you're the 200 IQs who keeps mending on sloppy butcher legion only to get hit again 10 seconds later and not doing generators.
Hey I'm not the one to decide how stupid those decision is despite logic dictating that it is but whatever. No wonder the kill rate is high.

I LITERALLY just told you I stopped someone from getting hooked by doing this. I saved him and we all escaped because he helped body block me at the end of that match when I'm the only one injured near the gate. I body blocked him as soon as he was picked up because I knew it was his last hook. The killer tried to swing at me 3 times and only hit me once AND we were very close to a hook. It does work.
Don't ask for people's opinions if you're just gonna deny everything they say. People can play how they want. What do the killers always say about camping? It's not toxic, it's a playstyle, play how you want. That's all there is to say. There doesn't need to be a huge explanation for this - they can play how they want to play.
As you said, this gives the killer free pressure if it doesn't work. So I have no idea why you're so up in arms about this 🤔
And I'm talking about situations where survivors should know how effortless it is to try and stop a wiggle timer at zero because they should have long that damn timer is meaning I'm talking about awful situations where a lone survivor should never try to body block alone at the start and situations where it's a coordinated effort by the whole team and in extreme situations like at the exit gates is worth trying again that's basic common sense like the rest you don't know how to read.

Ok so :
Someone plays a way you don't like -> stupid
Someone disagrees with you -> can't read
I just hope you don't reflect the mindset of dbd community.
But it's true though.
I literally said as soon as you picked up a survivor meaning the wiggle timer is at goddamn zero so you're not saving anyone but giving the killer needless pressure.
Again learn to read.
-
@FabV said:
I don't get why it's a problem.
If they manage to help their teammate escape, then they were right to do it. If they don't you get some free hits.
It's absolutely ok and not rank related imo.
Only problem here is you don't know how to read.

Or maybe they're just trying to stop their team mate getting hooked?? That's literally it. You may as well be asking why people sabotage hooks when the killer is carrying a player to said hook...
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but you may as well try. That's all there is to it. I very rarely body block the killer in this way but the last time I did it, was to save a tunneled Dwight on his last hook and it worked.
You're just giving needless pressure to the killer and make it hard for the whole team. You're not stopping anyone from getting hooked.
There's a clear difference between trying to body block a killer that's been a carrying a survivor a decent or long time than literally body blocking the killer AS SOON as he picks up a survivor.
The latter is just plain stupid.
-
Sometimes I question how people seems to parrot the idea that every match in Red ranks is toxicity after toxicity in the post game. When I get like 1 out of 10 matches in red ranks that there's a sour puss in the chat otherwise everything is just fine. GG then leave.
It's like one bad experience takes priority over the rest of the matches.
-
I play a lot of Apex legends on Console and TC reminds me of those dudes that somehow got 100-200 damage while the rest of his team got 2000+ and won the match.

Achievement, protection hits for MoM, trying to prevent the survivor being hooked, Breakout Perk, WGLF stacks...many reasons, none of them toxic and all of them part of the game.
Only valid reason is the first one.
The rest is just absurd since I always check which guy has MoM or WGLF. None of them has it post game. This is a recurring theme even before the breakout perk.
-
Please tell me Puppers wasn't completely seriously about this idea and was joking.
That's the most stupidest thing I've ever read today. Never mind the fact that it's so weird that a gum would slow a killer down but didn't he think about the consequences of slowing a killer down? You're literally dooming him to more infinites lmfao

Engine updates, and general map rebalancing to make stealth a less viable option.
Oh engine update, No wonder the game is a mess from what I experienced the first two matches.
Hilarious that their answer to Blendettes was to make stuff oddly white but whatever I guess.

@tonycuup7 said:
Umm...I don’t think anyone has complained about anything like this...weird?
I'm guessing it's the servers. Everything just so feels so damn weird. There's a noticeable little delays here and there that it's threw me off the first match.
Also
Can't wiggle, haha this game.
Hall way in the end is dark
But now it's bright.
Lol what the hell is happening with the render distance.
Never mind the game is just a broken mess apparently, What a surprise each update does that. Also screen was pitch black on the basement. Guess that's the new mending legion bug to abuse.
-
Yikes so I have to super careful getting downed near the basement. Seriously ever since I started playing this game at the beginning of 2019 this game always have a new bug with every update, It's outstanding really.
-
Still reinstalling DBD since the game is cool that I have to do that with every update so what happened to the killer? Thought he was top 5 apparently and couldn't be countered in a chase.

Its actually been gaining players based off the steam charts. Compared to where it was at at March of this year with an average playerbase of 16k ppl on at any given time, its currently sitting pretty at about 23k ppl online. With the release of DBD on the windows store as well as more ports OUTSIDE of PC, its actually doing pretty well growing.
It's just the classic DBD is dying post. If it's gonna die then it would have happen in previous states where the game is just terrible in every degree yet here we are. It won't die on it's best current state.
-
Why do people keep insisting to make it difficult to get into Red ranks. There's literally no incentives to stay there where queue times varies greatly with nothing but Spirits. BHVR should work on a reward system to encourage players to go there AND then you rework the rank system.
-
Honestly I think there's just something wrong with it but I don't why, It's just strangely inconsistent.
I can easily find matches for me(Red ranks) but my Friend who lives just a 10 minutes drive away from me is having a hard time playing as a killer since his takes about 10-15 minutes(Or more) and his killer is only Rank 19. So he just gave up on playing as Killer and just joins with me as a Survivor.
-
I feel sympathy for the good survivors who can't hit hex skill checks so I don't use Ruin on my Freddy.
Now they can have fun doing nearly double the amount of time doing generators.
