Keys and Mori's aren't fair.
-
Guess you haven't seen a killer hit everyone with Franklin's and then disconnect.

Whats yours? A base kit billy can catch up at the same time as an add on spirit, maybe faster.
Even a freddy can catch up sometimes if there's a gen nearby, so?
Learn to comprehend what I said for starters? Apparently bringing up movement speed or the time to catch up on other killers is relevant for some reason? Mate, we're talking about Spirit where there's no visual feed back to survivors and works purely on a guessing game, a guessing game where she can bring that favor to hers with Perks immensely. Do you know how strong the fact that she can move fast with add ons in conjunction to that?
Why you keep bringing up killers into the mix when you can see them and adjust your movements accordingly is beyond me.

Make it so that every bleep on the trap emits an audio of her squeal.

I may have to do that. My frustration is mounting. Ruin always gets cleansed in less than a minute. I’ve never been rank 14/15. I’m usually 17/18. I’m not use to playing green rank survivors. They’re a pain in my arse. How do you killer mains do it? I’m getting a feel for what you go through and it’s rough.
You protect those three gens as hard as you can and don't over commit to Survivors clearly dragging you away from generators getting worked on or you play as Freddy "I hate Generator Speed" Krueger. I never use Ruin on him and I've yet to see Red rank teams actually finish all five generators, just don't play dumb and you'll win every time.

Yes because no matter the distance you get on hit she can instantly catch up right? Because spirit = old nurse
And I had more fun going against a God Nurse than a God Spirit. So what's your point?
-
Base Spirit is fine but there's almost no room for mind games against Spirit with good add ons and Stridor so what's the point?
-
Come back when you got faced against a Spirit with great add ons and STRIDOR. Have fun going against a spirit where she's incredibly fast that despite the sprint burst from taking a M1 she catches up due to her movement speed and lunge. Or Spirit with recovery add ons. Try mind gaming that.
-
Wait like 3 more days for rank reset.

To be fair, Tru3 thinks Pig is a solid Killer, but you still have a lot of people believing Pig is weak.
She is weak. Survivors are mostly stupid and has the game sense of a potato. It's why I'm seriously thinking survivor apparently has a higher skill cap than killers at this point.
-
I don't care about recording seriously but Game dvr seems to be good for those kind of people. Literally just press some few buttons anytime you want while gaming and it'll record for you.
-
I play I hate generator speed Freddy and I have yet to see a Red rank team actually finish every generator lmfao
-
Either mute chat or say gg then disconnect. Oh no T-bags, My feelings I can never recover.
-
Any suggestion to change generator times should be shut down. Secondary objectives that isn't as repetitive as holding M1 for 70 second should be introduced in higher ranks.
-
I literally have not seen a Myers running tuft of hair for months now. Red ranks.

You obviously don't play this game.
When have you ever completed 4 gens in a single game, where the killer wasn't farming with you and everyone else was dead (everyone else has to be dead or complicit because you are competing with them for the gens)? This sort of thing does not happen in a normal game. Period.
Unhooking thrice during EGC is also impossible without the killer complicit and farming.
Or I didn't read the challenges and skimmed on it quickly?
Only been in this forum for recently and you've been a noticeable massive pain in the neck already, yikes.

Yes, the first one does mean in a single match. "Complete this challenge in a single trial".
As for the second one, "Completley Repair 4 generators with Dark Sense in a single trial" is basically impossible unless the other Survivors are doing nothing for the whole match.
Oh then that's completely junk.
Seems like the Rift would just inspires toxic behavior more and more. We're already seeing blatant hook farming with just the early stage.
-
First and Second is perfectly fine.Unless the first challenge means unhook 3 survivors at the same match then that's impossible.
Third one is pretty BS. You have to actively be toxic and getting a flashlight save is very, very rare and your best bet is bullying noob killers

There are some challenges that encourage bad play style. I've noticed more people rushing the hook for 'safe hooks' lately. The challenges related to commonly available perks, for example make three great skill checks using This is Not Happening, are positive, they have you use a perk you wouldn't normally, but it does not affect other player's in the game.
Challenges that won't really affect other player's experiences or waste time, like running around chasing crows.
The later challenges really look like it is mandatory to play SWF.
I'm genuinely done playing solo survivor right now. All matches are me doing 3+ generators. Matches are being infested with idiots that watches too much Ochido waiting to flashlight the killer because Halloween flashlight so cool and people who don't care about the match as long as they finish their Rift challenges.
This is stupid, Being killer is actual heaven right now when they're against these people which is most likely.
-
Or you just play the game normally and you'll naturally get it? Crows are situational unless you have spies from the shadow.
There's objectives to make examples of in the higher levels where the challenges can get ridiculous but not this one. This is fair game.
-
I was gonna type why are people whining about the challenges just play then you'll naturally get it and then I actually saw how absurd some of it are.
Haha wow.

Aside from the fact that there will always be somebody Who hasn’t completed yet the challenges.
Exactly. This is going to be a recurring thing from now on, We're lucky they didn't release the whole package and is delaying the stages. Can't say the same thing for future Rifts.

I have no clue AT ALL why there are so many potatoes. Most of the games I play, I die on 1st hook (often, 1 is being chased while the other 2 are repairing a generator TOGETHER) or everyone simply burns the pallets. Personally, I blame the ranking system. It should be adapted in a way that only 'skilled' survivors can achieve rank 5 or less
You'll be surprised how awful survivors are in general they have zero game sense that I'm starting to think the skill ceiling for survivor is higher than a killer in general. I still think Survivors with a complete brain are stronger than most killers that isn't Spirit. I would include Nurse but so far from my experience she's a shadow of her former self.

Have you ever played survivor for a good amount of time and gone up against a killer using Franklin's?
Believe me, Franklins is a great counter. It is one of the most annoying perks in the game. It just actively prevents you from executing your gameplan. A survivor enters the match carrying a tool they want to use. they have an idea how they want the game to go. Be it healing, breaking hooks, gen rushing or exiting via the hatch. Franklins whacks you once and puts a stop to your dreams and ambitions and disrupts your entire gameplan for that game.
I am glad that not more killers run Franklins, I would honestly quit the game if Franklin's became Meta. I do not like things that prevent me from playing the way I planned to play. That's why I don't like killers like Plague (who shuts down an entire branch of game mechanics just by existing) and that's why I don't like Franklin's.
Franklins is a pain in the ass. Imagine if survivors had a perk that disabled killer-addons for 30 seconds everytime they finished a gen or dropped a pallet or made you vault a window or something. Killers would be up in arms with torches and pitchforks. That's what Franklin's feels like.
Franklin's is only a good counter to dummy survivors who can't play a match without their little tools. So, no I really can't sympathize since I play nearly all of my matches without anything it was until recently since I actually started using the items I hoarded and I still can't sympathize. Literally drop your tool somewhere and pick it up.
Oh no I dropped my Flashlight and Toolbox, the horror.

Sometimes the condition doesn't allow them to do so. For example people with a average laptop, they can play survivors with a acceptable fps (around 15fps) but when they play killer it's really really bad for them (around 10fps) and they can't smack people that easily - That's my case 1 year ago.
Oh well that's their problem
-
What's the logic behind it. It's stupid and I doubt that there's a significant amount of people doing it.
Have fun disconnecting for 1000 matches just to get rid of offerings that doesn't harm your inventory at all or complicates any RNG in the bloodweb. It's so dumb. Deranking is more believable.
-
Honestly thought Franklin's was a bad counter anyway. Literally just drop your tool somewhere and pick it up when you're exiting. At least Franklin's is still good for something, Hitting everyone and immediately disconnecting.
-
I'll give Spirit early 2020 where she can finally pass away and get sent to heaven
-
As a Survivor main I'm actually disappointed with what they done with the Nurse. It's not even funny how much leeway I have now when a Nurse messes up. Low rank survivors probably wouldn't notice the difference but Jesus it is bad when you know what you're doing.
I have fun going against Nurse and the only thing awful about her is her Add ons which can make stupidly broken. Why this change happen is beyond me.
-
I love Wraith. Wraith is perfectly fine against Red ranks but he is very add on reliant. All top three killer has one thing in common and it's how mobility, how fast they could go around the map.
I just harass everyone with sloppy butcher abusing how fast he is at getting around the whole map and as long as you don't get Maps with absurd window set ups Cough Wrecker's yard *Cough* and the survivors knows how to run otherwise you have a high chance of winning.

Snares are way better for 3 simple reasons:
- No cooldown, no reload time, you can just spam them infinitely without losing time
- They stay on the ground forever
- You have 10 of them without any additional addons
They're also good information tool.

You see the area around you, when you are awake. He hits you, some pallets appear, they are blood pallets, don't loop em. Seems logical for me.
Never mind you conveniently put the discussion into talking about dream pallets.
No one is talking about dream pallets, mate.

It is. Against snare freddy you can drop the pallet when you see him placing one. The counterplay is similar to the clown. Against pallet freddy? Just wake up 4head.
Damn didn't know you can wake up after getting hit, The self care Gods must have blessed you with a skill check.

@FriendlyGuy said:
I know a secret: Drop the pallet. Boom!
Dropping it early is pretty god tactic for the team actually.

@ScottJund said:
OP didn't word it very well but he's basically talking about how strong the speed burst is from a hit and how many survivors will waste a lot of their burst not committing to a direction. That's why you'll notice good survivors be so greedy at pallets at full health - they control their speed burst and gain massive distance so much so they can be chased running directly in a straight line without a single window or pallet and still last a minute.
I'm glad more people don't realize how instantly strong the speed burst and running in a straight line is.
honestly I would wager a group that experimented playing the game against M1 killers without using a single pallet or window could still win if they all had room to run in a perfect line for a long time.
Yeah my bad for not wording it right, I just kinda typed that quickly on a phone.
But that's pretty much it. I'm at that point my Survivor that I have a good understanding on what widens distances in chases and how much I could get away with the distance I have. Honestly I feel bad for M1 killers if they're against survivors who have this grasp and only thing I can have issues with is Spirit or Nurse.
