who knows maybe this event is actually an incentive for people to try the other side
But you can earn petals and do generators or hooks in either role?
Unless you're talking about the challenges. In which case, you still don't need to do all the challenges to progress in the Rift, but I suppose it makes it a bit more difficult for anyone who refuses to play the other role under any circumstances. Personally, as a 99% survivor main, I see it as an opportunity to branch out.
Sometimes the condition doesn't allow them to do so. For example people with a average laptop, they can play survivors with a acceptable fps (around 15fps) but when they play killer it's really really bad for them (around 10fps) and they can't smack people that easily - That's my case 1 year ago.
That's not specifically the Halloween event. The Halloween event is literally just the putrid serum being in the battle pass, and the offerings. The Rift/Archives are entirely different.
Oh well that's their problem
Yeah it's still the halloween spirit but they won't be able to get maximum serum with the rift though
The event itself doesn't need you to play both roles. You can get the pustule thing exclusively as killer or survivor.
It's the RIFT that requires you to play both to get the most out of it.
