That movie is hilarious xD.

I'm so hyped I love the pig but don't play her much bc she's pretty weak hopefully these are good changes to her
I think she needs addons buff, BUT, I also think they should adress her power. Her rush attack is pretty weak compared to other killers power. You need to bend down (movement speed reduction) and charge the power. Survivor just hold W and gain distance on her.
When I play on her "Save the best for last", is very annoying when u are chasing your obssesion and he knows you are on him.
-
I´m so glad they finally have gone into Spirit real nerf. Hallelujah!! We have still to see if the changes are good. But this change looks much better than the previous "nerf" based on Iron Will buff.
Let´s hope also this killer don´t become weak. I don´t think so as she has insane map movility and still a strong 1 vs 1.

Probably exactly that is the problem ATM. Those two are old rift skins (don't know about the other 2) and maybe that resulted in some code problems remaining from the time they were taken out of the game after the rift and the code still blocks them ATM?
Felix and Elodie´s are new skins as u mention, yes.

I know what you're going to say: no, slugging is not reportable. I get that. But I just went up against a Twins player who never hooked anyone the entire game and spent the entire match slugging and camping us, to the point where all 4 of us were almost dead from slugging, and I died from being slugged the entire match. I could barely do anything at all. I even made her grab me out of a locker twice and she just dropped me and slugged me, even with a hook right beside me.
So, I was thinking that when you go to report someone, it says you can report them for refusing to participate in normal gameplay, I assume this falls into that? I do have the match recorded, and I did make an in game report, but I don't want to waste my time and submit a ticket if it's just going to be rejected. Can anyone weigh in on this?
Similar situation with a Nemesis facecamping and eventually 4 guys on floor till death with crows on head. And Nemesis running in circles around.
I created a ticket, sending them a videoclip and a image from the game. They just told me, "So sorry, but slug is not bannable.
In my oppinon these flagrant and intentional cases with checkable proofs should be bannable, bit I´m not game developer.

I don't know about you guys but all of my matches, both as survivor and killer, have been absolutely miserable. As Survivor I'm constantly going up against the same Killers (Not really any spirits, blights, or nurses surprisingly) using the same builds and using the same techniques, mainly just tunneling, camping, and slugging meaning I have to be forced to use extremely sweaty and unfun perk builds (DS, UB, BT, etc) or else have an extremely frustrating game. Doesn't help that MMR is constantly pairing me up with either selfish or clueless teammates that end up getting me or the whole team killed.
On the Killer side if I'm playing a Killer without any mobility then I'll have to be forced to just hold W for most of the match. If I play a Killer with a weak 1v1 then I'll get looped for a while, and if I play my main Blight then I'll have to deal with extremely strong teams which I don't have too much of a problem with EXCEPT for the fact that there are so many things he slides off of that they can singe handedly cost me a kill or a ton of time. Haven't even mentioned that before MMR I could play much more relaxed and not have to tunnel/camp/slug and use all meta perks but now with SBMM I have to use sweaty perks and sweaty playstyles leading to even less fun for both me and the survivors.
SBMM should not be a thing until the game is a much more balanced and less buggy state.
As survivor, hell no. I´ve lost much motivation and fun on playing the game. My game time has been highly reduced.
As ocassional killer, I just play strong on early (trying evade camp-tunnel), and then I start playing friendly. Most of my games are with babysurvs and every game I let get out 2 - 3 people. For me these games are nice, but just play ocassionaly.

And then I'll show him this post :)
95 % of the map offering for killers is for playing Haddonfield. It´s very unfair and killersided map. There are not enough vaults neither houses. Most survs insta DC if Haddonfield.

Are u allowed to use hatchets on this challengue? I saw one guy doing this add-ons combo and he only used 1 hatchet at the entire game. And he hit 1 surv at exit door. It was funny and troll xD.

Buffing solos and killers? How do you buff solo without buffing swf?
Would this ever be possible to achieve?
Please don't suggest debuffing or indicators or straight up deletion of swf. That is not something most will agree on.
As many of u said, reduce the gap solo - SWF would be a first step. Chat comms system and totem counter on HUD could be a start. After that, buff weaker killers.
That't be a start to balance the game. Still, there is one thing should be done about current metagame. If solo is buffed that way, solo players will be able to hand camp tunnel more efficiently. And will maximize gen repair.
Devs have to do something about gen rush and camp tunnel. Those unfun strats can't be the optimal plays if we pretend have a good time in game.

I do not condone this behavior unless they flashlight blinded you. Because otherwise I would be a hypocrite. Flashlight users need to learn that as a Mogwai, bright lights turn me into a Gremlin, it is really the survivor's fault when you think about it. I had one rule and they broke... I weep for them.
Killers doing it unprovoked are beta.
Blind the killer is not toxic. Although it can be very annoying, blind the killer is rewarded with BP and can give survs advantage in game in chase or ungrabbing a surv from killer. So u shouldn't take that as a personal Provocation / offense.
T-bag meanwhile it is. It's something that pretends taunt or bad manner with no real effect on game neither rewarded in game design.

You have to define what "fun" is. I dabbled a lot in killer when I first played this game and there were only a few matches that were what I considered as fun. Most of the time, the survivors I went up against made it seem like their fun was to completely dominate me and prevent me from accomplishing anything. Even when I gave up, they would refuse to open the doors and leave. I'd go get something to eat or use the restroom and come back to see them all t-bagging and vault spamming.
A sad fact of this player base is that many people find it fun to put down their opponent as much as they can and when they don't get their way, they resort to insulting them. I don't blame killers for not taking it easy on survivors from the start of the match, it could easily come back and bit them in the ass, which happens more often than survivors on here want to admit.
Many people can find funny on bad mannering the killer as you say. In every sport or game. In survs is more often coz is a 4 - 1 proportion and on the same team.
If everybody understood the importance of a healthy rivalry we'd have a more healthy community and more sportmanship.
And related to fun personally I like close games full of action. Not the actual meta of gen rush tunnel games. Sadly, if this is the meta is because it's the more effective way to play. But this metagame is not fun at all IMO. I can repair alone 3 gens and scape , or I can proxy camp 1 by 1 all survs as killer and "win" In both cases. But I wouldn't find fun on that, so I don't play those ways.

I prefer solo because i like to do cooperarive actions and play the weaker role (i mean comparing them individually).
As killer I just play Huntress or Piggy. From Huntress I love her Lullaby and power. And regarding to Piggy I like to meme with survs and do the "boop the snoot". As killer, I start playing sweaty with good gen control perks, but eventually if I have much pressure I'll feel bad for them and start playing friendly.

See, aside from the issues already mentioned of survivors abusing this exact system to the point where the devs had to remove it entirely, you're thinking only about face camping from one perspective. Ok yeah, I think we can agree getting face camped right out the gate sucks, right? I can certainly agree to that. But what about other situations? Actually let's take a look at this and run with that idea for a second and say hook timers stopped if the killer is nearby. So outside of your scenerio, what do you think should happen if the killer grabs someone after all 5 gens are done, or better yet what do you think they should do during the EGC?
Actually here I'll use a game I had recently as an example. Played as Bubba in the cornfield map the other day that has the hay barn off to the side. The survivors right out the gate start rushing gens and just smashing them as quick as they could before I could even finish my first chase, which wasn't even that long, maybe a minute tops. So the survivors are slamming gens and I guess they weren't paying attention towards gen placement and they gave me the most perfect 3 gen situation that I could ask for. 3 gens on one side of the map that were placed to where I could stand in the center of them and have perfect LOS of all of them. Hell, even the spot in the center came with a hook as well. So survivors come and I catch one and hook'em and continue to stand in my spot to keep an eye on the gens. The survivors would bum rush hook, I'd chainsaw and they'd swap hooks. Eventually I got them all. I got called a camper, and yes I did indeed camp. But what do you think I should've done? Do you think I should have f***ed off to the other end of the map, throw a little dance party in the killer shack and let the survivors get the free win, even though screwed up and put themselves in one of the worst 3 gen situations they could've hoped for?
Yeah no. If this system was implemented in the game it would destroy the killer's chances to do anything after gen completion or during the EGC. Maybe less so in the EGC since there's a hard time limit, but once all the gens get popped I don't have any secondary objective anymore and now I need to do what I can to achieve my first objective which is to kill. This system would prevent me from getting at least 1 kill out of a bad situation. Plus in my game this would remove any sort of pressure to come save their teammate and essentially would have been forgiving these guys for 3 genning themselves so badly. So yeah maybe try and think beyond just the one scenario when you suggest things like this, which again, have been tried and were exploited to give one side even more of an advantage.
In some tournaments where tunnel / camp is not allowed until end game, these strats are allowed in case you are defending a 3 gen. I find it quite fair. But it's arbitrary rules over the official rules.
Got to say that although I agree with this rule, I think it'd be hard to implement like a in game mechanic. I also don't mind situational tunnel when killer has no pressure, but find it quite disgusting as the way to go with 5 gens remaining.

I've never seen a gen rusher complain about gen rushing. Since there are so many of them, I suppose they like holding m1.
But I guess u have seen many posts of killers claiming against gen rush, don't u? Because gen rush is a problem indeed that many killers can't deal with.
I main surv and I'm against of gen rush. Most efficient play as survivor shouldn't be hold1.

For double BP I would play the ######### out of it.
Dunno why people think casual mode will be full of tryhards, its almost as if they never played any other game beside dbd or something
I played Smite ranked and casual. On conquest casual we had the same rules, but people used to have another mentality. They played there to prove builds, characters or simply because they wanted to play chill. Of course there were some people going very serious, but it was a small percentage.
-
Idk why people is so confused with this post. Of course I know how to sit on a gen an click M1 (most efficient survivor action). The point is I am just tired of this meta where most op strats are camp tunnel and gen rush, because IMO is extremely boring to play.
Devs create the meta game when designing the game. And if people play like this, it´s because is the more efficient way to play. It doesn´t mean these guys loop better, it only means they are being more efficient.
I don´t gen rush as survivor because I don´t like it. And I don´t go for camp tunnel as killer because I don´t like that playstyle neither. What I claim is another game mode or casual mode that encourage more action and fun strats.

I will explain myself. Dbd is a horror game where survivors should be afraid of killers so killers needs to have some advantages which survivors need to outplay. Currently it feels otherwise. Like playing survivor compared to killer, I'm chilling. Even if he hooks me, it's like i don't care. Gens are still popping and job is done.
Maybe at it´s origin. Nowadays I think nobody feels it like a horror game.
Game design is a race against the clock. Claudette players selfcaring on a corner is what reallisticaly would happen on a real circunstance. But if survs would play like that all of them would die. DBD is more like a real time strategy action game with horror aesthetics.
-
When u expose the problem of camp tunnel a lot of people just say "do gens". What a joy of game spending your time just holding m1 for 80 seconds. 3 survs bored on gens and 1 without being able to even play. Of course it´s a bad game design.

I always want to ask people their definition of fun.
Also u come in PvP game and blame the game for being PvP. Dude, u are on 4 man team and u have to play as team, if for some reason they don't do gens, then u do it. There shouldn't be problem about it.
Killer balance is a separate question...
Overall let's just hope devs will gather their data and made some healthy decisions about it. And i rly hope they won't be survivor sided.
In my case, as surv, my concept of fun is interaction with killer and teammates, not interaction holding m1 on a generator. I know i can be sticked to a gen and "win", but I find it extremely boring.
I don´t play much killer. But I´m aware that if u are not playing spirit, nurse, blight, in certain way you need to proxytunnel camp if u don´t want gens fly. As u say, there is no balance related to killers.
U mention this is PVP and I don´t see it that much. The way I see it this game is more like surv vs generators and killer vs time. I neither want the game to be survivorsided. I enjoy close games.

*(Except Tombstone myers)
When facing Tombstone Myers my main objective in game becomes not to be moried. Just that. There isn't any circunstance that can force me to be more than 10 metters distant from a locker no matter what xD.
Usually these Myers get so pissed off that when u go in a locker they start hitting it with m1 repeteadly lmao.

On solo surv, DS is mandatory. Majority of games is gonna be triggered. I also like wearing an exhaustion perk and selfcare.
As killer, although I just play Huntress and Piggy, Corrupt Intervention and ruin. I don't play sweat all game. Usually when I'm on a strong possition in game I start playing suboptimal or meme with survs. But without gen perk regression I'd just be gen rushed and stomped.
-
Respect for you, buddy, claiming a balance although u main her.
Although I like her art, her concept and power, as surv spirit is the killer I hate the most to go against.
Besides she is so incredibly strong, people usually play her to up the limit (strong addons, metaperks and full camp tunnel).
U just unhook a guy and there she is, ready for tunnel. On tournaments or with strongest SWF ok. But on Solo Q.... i just point them till they kill me if they are going full tunnel.
-
Nerf the spirit by itself. Not dependable on Iron Will. It's just absurd her abusive 1 vs 1 and her insame map movility.

Agree. It's stomp or be stomped. Not really close or balanced games majority of times.
I main survivor. What I have noticed is a drastic increase of tunneler peoxycampers. And when we are not facing a tunneler, survs usually reward him with an insane rush on gens and repairing injured.
I'm enjoying much less the game since MMR. I wish there would another game mode focused on fun, chase, interaction and not so sweaty.

"It doesn't take rocket science to see that killer is camping and go back to do gens (even without kindred) instead of not doing anything behind some rock."
It doesnt take rocket science, you know what it does take?
- time to run to the hook
- time to get closer to the hook to see if the TR sound increases when you go to the hook.
- if there is no sound for a long time(due to undetectable or smaller TR), you need to actually get really close
- walk back all the way to the gen and hope your teammates do the same thing
- If your teammates dont, you have to find them and physically communicate to them to follow you and do gens, otherwise, you'll be soloing gens alone
Thats a lot of things that need to happen, a lot of time wasted that could be spend on a gen, which is why the argument "just do gens" is a ######### one. You cant communicate to your teammates to do the same. Hence, ping system.
"Also I said it is sometimes neccessary not camping at 5 gens neccessary. Making sure camping/tunneling is not seen as something evil in all situations."
It's never neccesary to camp at 5 gens tho. You're not playing in a tournament, you're not facing the top 0.1% of survivors.
"Also even if killer is camping at 5 gens 3 people can escape easily by doing gens. Just hold m1 and leave. Simple."
See the prior argument.
You can say it louder, but not more clear. People that don´t understand this point I think is more a matter of will than abouth comprehension potential.
-
1) Not always, but game design should encourage hook multiple times and survivors. Unfortunetely, most optimal strats actually are gen rush vs proxycamp tunnel with low looping (bad game design)
2) Game should encourage chases rathen than proxycamp tunnel. We all know how ez is tunnel 1 guy with wraith or spirit on a bad zone of the map. Game should encourage all people have interaction instead of bully 1 guy till death.
3) I see it.
** If devs don´t wanna do any modification to this totally unfun metagame they have created and that pisses off many people and creates toxicity in game, at least, they should create another GAME MODE. Oriented to casual fun games, that encourages interaction and which can be enjoyed for both sides.

I personally camp and tunnel because I can't really tell how the game is going to go. It could be a group of chill survivors or it could be a group of survivors who will get the gens done in around 5ish minutes. So, I'll play my best from the get go to slow down the game as much as possible and see how the survivors do as the game progresses. If the survivors clearly had no clue what to do and they've got between 3 to 5 gens left as I get to the last survivor, I'll generally give them hatch. If the survivors manage to get it to 1 gen and nearly finish it, I'll be happy I played the way I did since it meant I stood a chance against them. Overall, I'm playing the game to win and using the most effective strategies to do so regardless of how the other side feels about them.
"Overall, I'm playing the game to win and using the most effective strategies to do so regardless of how the other side feels about them"
I think It´s sad to have this mentality on a multiplayer game. 99% of people play for fun, not coz they are pro players of this game. As killer, if u create more funny games, more people will enjoy the game and you´ll have more player base to play with. But thanks for your sincerity.

This guy is just one of thousand of people totally pissed off by this "legal strat".
But don´t ignore he is claiming something that is very present in game (nowadays even more), and something that makes unfun and nully games. Devs are aware of this situation but they don´t care at all.
As people claimed with unplayable state of the game recently and menaced with no buying cosmethics in game till resolved, I think survivors should do something similar in game.
Let´s suppose u are against 1 of this facecamper tunnelers at 5 gens. We can go gen rush (most effective and less fun option), we can try suicide rescues and being killed 1 by 1, or, and I think this is what we should all do, just don´t play the game. Just reunite all around the killer and pointing him with the finger with 0 intention to play. And report that guy x4 at end game chat with the same concept. Eventually, devs will understand how this strat is so toxic and unfun to play against.

If your thoughts are "a real life circumstance has stopped me from playing the game, so I should be immune during this period" then you are entitled.
If a real life circumstance come upon me that was bad enough that I had to drop a game, even for a short period of time, I believe that the consequences are on me, no matter what ensues (outside hacking).
For the second point, it's as toxic as tunneling off hook in general, no matter if afk. Both are non toxic.
In a game where you cannot know if they'll give you courtesy back. And when you know that it is the minority that are sportsmanlike in the game, and that if the tables were turned they would show you no mercy most likely, then what reason is there for them to be sportsmanlike to a possibly nice team, most likely toxic team. Your working in the same universe where fusion creates energy, a highly theoretical one.
And you, at the end, are saying "your playing Vs a 3v1 stop playing sweaty tryhard". But you don't get that if that person returns it's back to a 4v1. I'm all for farming with the other 3/2 of them but none of them will escape. However that afk doesn't deserve #########, and they will die with no BP. If that person returns after one hook then the game is on. A 4v1 where I need to remove someone quick. Either way that person needs to die.
Overall, your logic is highly flawed.
I think is your logic which flaws. Let´s see where:
1) "Flashlight an afk killer is as toxic as hook an afk survivor". Error. Flashlight a killer has nothing to do with primary win condition objectives. Besides that, killer can´t be annoyed by something he can´t know if has happened. Hooking afk guy it´s advantage in game, and on diff with flashlight, hook afk surv can appreciate he has been hooked (there is a hook counter on HUD).
2) As u mention, I can´t know if rivals will give me back courtessy if I play nice. Thats correct. There is no way to know before trying. The point is, do you think courtessy is important in game. Personally I do. And I play nice with my teammates and the killer. I absolutely not go gen rush against a killer that is avoiding tunnel proxy camp strat or play suboptimally. Many times I just run around doing secondary things other than gens, and many times I´ve kept looping on EGC just to give a sacrifice to the killer. I always try Boop the Snoot; some people is nice, other ones take advantage and take 2 free hits and a hook.
3) "But you don't get that if that person returns it's back to a 4v1" (I get it; and thats how the game should be at the beggining; idk why could u be pissed off for playing a 4 vs 1 game, when thats what u are supposed to do. Another contradiction).

Yeah the game is in a disgustingly frustrating state at the moment.
As a killer, if you do not tunnel/camp, you get destroyed 9/10, getting 0 - 1 kills as every survivor is gen rushing hard, bringing 4 items, putting chest offerings, playing surv friendly maps like haddonfield.
As a survivor, im getting tunnelled or seeing others being tunnelled every single game. Even when killers take franklins.
I think one problem is that nobody knows what "winning" is that BHVR have talked about. BHVR can say 2 hooks is a win for killer or high BP is a win for surv but the majority of Survs consider winning to be getting out, even if they only score 12k and escaping and another team member gets 25K and dies, the survivor considers that a win whereas the one who died is frustrated and considers it a loss.
For killer, if you dont get a 4k, a lot see it as a failure. Some dont and are happy with a 3K but that was rare even before this latest patch.
Im not even seeing chill games anymore. When someone would come into a match and be AFK, the killer would maybe down them but understand this persons afk so usually didnt hook. Now they get hooked and tunnelled, even if still afk when unhooked.
The game just feels far too sweaty at the moment on all sides. As a killer its boring to tunnel, but if you dont you get teabagged, flashlight spammed, genrushed and then salted/spoken to like crap post game. I mean im a fairly friendly person and pre SBMM would make lots of friends on steam with my style of play or cause i reward good/funny playstyles and could have a laugh post game. Now when i dont tunnel and get 0-1K, i will always get at least 1 surv every 2 games saying how much i suck, to delete the game, i cant play killer, im useless, i got destroyed, im garbage etc. Its just words but its not nice to see idiotic survs crow like this every game they survive in. Its just flat out toxcity and yet these same people will cry hardcore if you tunnel. So you may aswell tunnel....
As a survivor, its boring to be tunnelled or see someone else get tunnelled constantly.
The level of sweatness and toxicity in this game just amazes me. Everybody knows tunnel is the best strat in game as killer. If u don't do it, u have my respect and I'll play accordingly.
If survs have a match vs a killer that deliberately is evading tunnel, what they should do is show him the same courtessy (not unhooking in his face, slow down the gen rush, and be nice with him in game and in chat.
Idk why people don't understand that these killers make the most nice and enjoyable games.

I think they made a mistake communicating on the SBMM. SBMM is a great thing but now that everyone know it exists, everyone is playing sweaty. Survivor mains in the first place, they all bring items. Before SBMM, it was rare to have many items. Now all 4 survivors take an item... It means a lot.
I play 50/50 and i never brin any item. But as a killer, if i see a squad full of items, i don't play fair, clearly not, i give them no mercy and idc.
If BHVR didn't say anything about SBMM, release it in silence, no one would know, no one would have changed the way they usually play and everything would be way better, with a better matchmaking.
Agree. Now people feels forced to play optimal and tryhard.
I personally don't. I hate those unfun, unfair games. I hate this metagame.

If you've chosen to go afk, then the killer is entitled to kill you. To say otherwise is extremely entitled. If they slug, and you've come back, they have gotten nothing for their time unless they double down and slug you to death. You have chosen to put your survivors in that situation, not him. Don't act like this is the killers problem, it's yours.
And tunneling off hook is a strategy, to get more pressure. They're literally just securing their win. They don't owe you anything.
And then you say "when the killer is afk, I'll go blind him repeatedly". Isn't that toxic? As toxic as tunneling anyhow.
U are assumimg various things I didn't say. When someone is afk (specially at beginning), most of the times is a short delay due to door bell, phone call, bathroom, etc. That afk guy will come back in a short while. This game has not a pause bottom. U say people "decide go afk", and u can't be more wrong. There are circunstances in real life that can force u pause a game.
Second thing. How I'm being toxic blinding an afk player. Are u out of your mind? I am just practising beamer, not working on my main objective, and blinding a person is not playing.
Ans third, what u do as killer is up yo you. But a bit "fairplay" won't be so dramatic for u. Courtessy and sportmanship is appreciated in games and in life. When I played football in a local league and the other team is not complete, you had the chance to start a 5 vs 4, or giving them some courtessy minutes. And of course we expected them for some minutes and they did the same to us.
We could have gone full tryhard and get big advantage that could condition the final result. But..... Would have we won because we were better or for taking advantage of a circunstance? I don't want that kind of "victories".
And finally, if u are playing against an afk, u already are on advantage. U are playing 3 vs 1 actually. Don't be so sweaty tryhard.
-
As a surv, the little times I've been afk I've encountered myself on hook. I find it quite rude and disgusting. Can understand a slug, but why killers need to take so much advantage of that circunstance... At the end, it's time that the surv is doing nothing, so a 3 vs 1 situation.
And the summun of bad manners is when after hook an afk, killer deliberately tunnel that guy. I just can't stand that -100 sportmanship.
If killer is afk, go blindbhim. In case I don't have a flashlight, look for it in chests. Also, search for totems (noed).

One of the killers I enjoy more to play with is The Piggy. I always try boop the snoot. And not when killer has me on a dead zone like last chance. I usually approach to them bend on my knees from long distance.
It´s very nice when Piggy follow the meme and play nice. I don´t expect a farming game, just a nice game. U play nice, I slow down repairing, thats all.
On the other hand, there are players specially rude that will transform the try on "boop the snoot" on 2 free hits and a hook. And ulterior tunnel. These players completely dishonor the character and ruin all the fun of the game. Transforming something nice into something very disgusting,

At high rank you face way more "SWF". 3Q or 4Q.
But even soloQ players are really good and when you get 4 good survivors, soloQ or not it's sweaty.
And yes, high mmr Killers need to tunnel/come back on saves to win. Just look at some high skilled streamers, they all do it.
I have seen many streamers like u say going camp tunnel. Most of the times they get 4 kills or 3 kills and a hatch. The only streamer i watch as killer is AgustinUnaplay. He intentionally refuses to camp tunnel (he has done sometimes when he has no more option, and I can understand it ). He plays high ranks and most of the times he wins with all kind of killers.
U don´t need tunnel to win with a Nurse, Spirit or Blight. You need to do it with Piggy, Trapper, etc.
Regarding the premades. When I play premade is with people I don´t know and without comms. I mean.....we can understand our game, and I can count on these guys are gonna try rescue me and vice versa. But we have no advantage there. What is more, matchmaking will consider SWF and make us face stronger killers (but we are not a coordinated team). I think many premades are like mine.

Lmso no they aren’t. If you camp/tunnel the whole trial you’ll lose as killer against competent players. You proxy camp the hooks later in the match, and chase one person in hopes that their allies sac/body block for them. If you chase/hook one person at a time (Rotation)... They’ll all escape. Every time. I guarantee you. Unless they’re really bad, or make a mistake in which they get caught in like 15-20 seconds... Any competent player will make a dedicated chase last at least 30 seconds. Using vaults, loops, and pallets. Then in between the time killer has to carry the downed person to a hook, and then walk back to a gen… That is more than 40 seconds (The time it takes for 2 people to do a gen)... When you chase 1 person you assume 2 are doubling up. Meaning each given chase is 1 and a half gens. So in 4 full chases the trial will be done.
Maybe if people would understand tunnel vs gen rush is the optimal way to play BUT very far from the most funny way to play, games would be much better.
This is a developer fault for creating these boring tactics as the most rewarding in game tactics.
We need another game mode. This kind of threads won´t ever stop as there are many people unsatisfied with this gameplay. I don´t play to win. I´m not stick on a gen all the time. I wanna explore the map, have chases, try flashlight saves, rescue, do bodyblocks, etc. I don´t wanna play tunnel gen rush simulator.

I'll make it short and simple. Killer HAS to tunnel and camp now due to how fast gens fly. If you don't have gen regression perks, or you had Ruin but it got deleted from the Trial, then gens pop too fast. I'm averaging 2 hooks by the time 3 gens pop in my matches now, if I don't tunnel I get maybe 1 kill if I sweat hard. If I tunnel some dude at the start, I get 2-3, rarely 4 kills. Blame the game's balancing, not the players, for having to resort to dirty tactics.
Killers don´t need tunnel or camp to win games. Specially if we talk about top tier killers. People on the forum talk like if they were facing Oracle all the games. And that´s totally not true as the majority survs are playing Solo Q.
Most unskilled killers just will go the ez way because they are not confident on their looping skills and they just wanna win the game. Not learn how to loop.

Tunnelers are trying to win. Face campers are trying to derank. Ez.
DIsagree. Eventually someone will try a rescue and fall down too. Facecamper doesn´t mean 1 kill. Many times is 4 kills instead due to survivors altruism.

I'm sure this is not a new experience for many people since SBMM was implemented, but there have been a drastic increase in the amount of face camping and genuine tunneling killers I have gotten. SWF or solo queue, it really seems like every game. Before SBMM, it was once in every 10 games, it really wasn't that big of a deal to me. Now, it is literally every single game. I've started taking screenshots and posting them in my discord when I get face camped. It doesn't matter what perks I run. It doesn't matter what I do. Decisive strike, borrowed time, unbreakable, soul guard, dead hard, sprint burst, flashlight, no flashlight, medkit, toolbox. It genuinely does not matter: someone on my team or myself gets face camped to death or tunneled to death. I mean genuine tunneling. Like, going out of your way to not hit other survivors tunneling. Waiting out for BT tunneling. It's not even like these killers are getting "genrushed", they are genuinely face camping at 5 or 4 gens left. What is the big deal? I play killer a LOT, I have probably 2,000 matches on Huntress. I have NEVER played like this. Then they complain about their queue times going up. Do you understand that you are the problem? People complaining are the ones contributing to the issue. No one wants to play survivor when they get face camped every game. No one wants to play survivor when they get tunneled at 5 generators for no reason. My friends and I have contemplated just straight up quitting the game when we've all dedicated 2k+ hours into it. The better question is: why have the devs not addressed it? There's NO way they don't know what's going on. There's NO way they haven't been reading forum posts. I want answers because this is absolutely ridiculous. This game is rapidly going downhill because 50% of the playerbase wants to play like animals. Playing to win =/= playing like a jackass.
U are totally right. Nothing to add.
Special mention to console players btw. They can´t even read the end game chat and receive feedback about how disgusting was the way they played so they stick into it.
I am having plenty of games where facecamp or hard tunnel since the beggining happen. Games like that can´t be more unfun and toxic. Considering most of people play at Solo Q. Devs can say this is legal strat, but is totally harmfull for game experience and therefore base data playe. They should do something against these dirty cheap and honorless tactics. Last game I went against a Oni facecamping at 5 gens. I just stopped in his face and point him with finger. Doubtless he takes me down too. 3rd rescuer come with same result. After game, the surv that didn´t go found hatch with a key. He said I was toxic and he reported me.
What I mean, is that if all survs would refuse play with these toxic players, eventually they´d just have to learn how to play in a decent game or they would just get tired of playing like this being ignored by the community every single game.
