Another night of complete mayhem for me, I was doing a steam achievement (put 125 helmets on with pig) the majority were rank 15 or lower and didn’t have a clue what to do, not one even attempted to boop my snoot :(

As much as I would like more, a lot more, I feel that they have a tough enough time as it is with the one mode.
Have to learn to walk before you can run!

Good point, just a downgrade to brutal killer is good enough. All the survivor ones are as easy as hell, unlimited ways to do them. You could even play horrible and then find or get given the hatch!

Exactly what this guy said, my original post (closest thing to an official BHVR thread you’ll find) was bringing all of the victims together, only problem was that my forum account stopped working for the past 2 weeks and nobody could view my posts.

I like treating my favorite killers to a fancy costume / skin, so for me it’s a complete waste of blood points as I would rather have every killer perk unlocked instead.
I think it costs around 10,000,000 BP to have all 75 perks at level 3 per killer.
So far I’ve done Freddy, spirit and the doc!

Love playing against a Demogorgon, hate playing against a good doctor, Freddy or spirit, funny thing is that’s the killers I play as most often!

Depends on the rank I play at, when between 2-5 happens maybe 10% of the time, 6-8 happens maybe 30% of the time. I don’t drop much further just because the issue then becomes bad playing teammates!

The ONLY reason to hire ninja is to bring in fresh blood, no point using a well known DBD streamer as that would benefit the existing player base and do very little to encourage new players to explore the game. I can’t imagine hiring ninja was cheap but I’m sure it is within the marketing budget.
Seems like a smart play from BHVR, I hope it pays off for them.

So the problem has been around since the BHVR account launch, approx 2 weeks. No official mention but I’ve been doing my best to contact others to warn before they unlink. I created a thread for it and it was ranking quite high but for some odd reason it’s just slowly slipping away.

Facecamping is basically just robbing 4 people of a fun experience for no in-game gain. Completely miserable to go against, near-zero effort on the killers part, and no real reward for the killer to boot.
Watching 4 of them doing the victory dance at the finish line gets old real quick, if and when I get one on the hook I like to make sure I get a kill, helps with the objective rewards too for extra blood points

No there is nothing wrong with camping and the survivors should have played better to be honest but dont act all confused over salty messages when you are camping my guy.
I camp,slug or tunnel when I am losing control over my games and I dont expect survivors to be happy over it either
Also dont chase someone you have a hard time catching, you are just gonna waste a lot of time, search for a weaklink instead and deal with them first
I get outplayed most games, that’s why I was happy to catch one for once, gets annoying after a while

Thanks, pretty sure they would have saved him. I use nobody escapes death though so that usually helps get 1 of them at the end even if they have full health :)

While he can't gain access to what's going on I believe moderators do have contact with BHVR officials. It's likely they messaged a BHVR member and they responded with a "We're looking into it".

Dude, the frames is some bull. I got this ######### on my DAY ONE PS4 which has all kinds of warps and can’t run the menus longer than 5-10 minutes without getting an over heating error, but when I get in those games the frames and are #########. Then the game warms up and goes as usual. Unplayable my ass. Wait a minute and you’ll be okay. If I can bully some killers on my ancient setup, then these mfs just being picky.
Sounds like a hardware issue, if your PS4 is out of warranty you could always look at replacing the thermal paste.

I thought the main ranked mode was ranked? Isn’t it just missing a casual mode to play with randoms? There is an unranked mode but you need at least one friend to play with.

no need if matchmaking was setup and working effectively. Also don’t allow huge differences in ranks unless you have a 4 person squad.

All very valid points, the lack of competition seems to make them very complacent too! This is most likely because you created a BHVR account and linked it to steam, if you unlink it will work again but you may lose all your auric cells, iri shards and BP like I did.

If they had competition it wouldn't take too long for this to die. The lack of competition has lead to complacency.
This game / genre has such a small following that its unlikely anyone will try to rival it anytime soon, battle royal seems to be the current favorite right now.

But last year you were able to again get halloween skins for free, double bloodpoints plus the petals if I remember correctly.
