The new forced prestige system doesn’t work for myself and many others. I have all of my killers maxed out with every perk at tier 3 / purple, only thing I need to top up on is add ons. Being forced to prestige, go back to level 1 and go through the mundane blood web over and over again, not only costs me a lot of time but a lot of bloodpoints too, plus the majority of time I don’t find the add24 comments 271 views last activity

Just curious if anyone has any info / research / evidence on whether there is any noticeable benefit to unlocking the 60 FPS cap on this game? 144hz vs 60hz on a shooter like CS:GO makes a big difference, just not sure if it’s worth doing on DBD. This question is to the powers that be at BHVR. I found out a little earlier that there used to be 2 community managers @Peanits and @not_Queen whose roles apparently changed, have they been replaced? I’ve only been playing the game for 12 months and have enjoyed it for the most part. Sure it has a few bugs and issues, I’m totally fine with that. The devs tried to help but unfortunately it was something that the vast majority of players never wanted to see past the PTB. Numerous people used photoshop and other editing software to show what we would have preferred but that was never implemented. Recently I’ve come across more Chinese steam accounts playing DBD on Americans servers, which I’m assuming is via a VPN (virtual private network) so they can play on any server they wish. It’s either that or matchmaking has hit an all time low. Whats the deal with is? Is it allowed, should I be reporting it? Every now and then BHVR asks us to take some time and help them by filling out their official survey. I think the general consensus is that they listen to our thoughts but end up doing what they think is best anyway. Undying means ongoing, immortal, everlasting. Now granted, it can be eventually killed off in its current state but the name is reasonably fitting. The current ranking system (rank 1-20) is being repurposed to reward dedicated players each month with BP. I’m a little confused why the monthly new rank rewards only gives 250,000 a month for what seems like a ridiculously long grind. It’s easily achievable to earn 90k a game as the killer with BBQ and a survivor pudding. Anyone else having video card issues? Ive just upgraded from a 1080ti hybrid to a 3080, now that the video card is only air cooled my pc is running stupidly hot, this is only whilst playing DBD, just in the menus I’m at 76 Celsius with a load of up to 90%. Not bothered about the nerf as I rarely use Mori’s, I play survivor and killer 50/50 but... What a lazy ass nerf, I’m guessing here that maybe a 5 min meeting was held and possibly 5 mins of coding to change them. An oni killer missed 4 attacks on me whilst using his power, his 5th hit landed so he face camped me and let everyone else survive and leave. He was streaming and claimed he thought I was cheating!! There is a time and place to attempt to Kobe, but it’s now increasingly common for survivors to attempt it just as another survivor has arrived to save them. I just had a game where Myers was on T3 and I risked my life to go and rescue (only viable option) and the player attempts to Kobe as I got there. Seems like behavior are quietly testing out their new matchmaking system again as I’m getting a lot of 17-19 rank team mates, I’m rank 4 and it’s putting me against rank 1 killers. I think it would be useful if the game had a statistics section, showing win / loss ratio based on map & killer, average chase length, safe unhooking, healings. Basically a more comprehensive version of the end game stats but a running total. I wonder if the devs have access to this data already? So the survivor adepts are all simple enough to complete at ANY rank, the killer ones however are stupidly hard once you’re ranked high given the fact it requires a merciless victory. Can someone explain how you’re supposed to pull it off against red rank SWF’s or even solo queuing players when most killers don’t even have any gen slow down perks? Faced a player before who was clearly cheating, after I downed them I could not pick them up, they did this weird unusual crawl in the dying state and then went to the corner of the map and vanished right under my nose! Had a few games recently where I’ve struggled like hell against rank 1 survivors and red rank SWF teams on some of the larger outdoor maps. I’m not sure on how best to handle them, especially when they gen rush and are spaced out. Im running BBQ, Ruin, Undying and then either distressing, franklins or make your choice. I played a game before as the doctor and had a really hard time catching a survivor, when I finally hooked him I stood under the hook to make sure he couldn’t escape. Some of the other survivors tried to rescue him and I managed to grab them whilst they were unhooking him. Each event to my knowledge costs 1000 auric cells, now providing you reach tier 70 (which is easily achievable for regular players) you get the 1000 auric cells back as a reward. Providing you don't spend your newly acquired auric cells, you then use them for the next new event which costs 1000 cells. The new cross progression BHVR / steam linking was broken upon release. Once linked the friends list is removed from your account. unlinking the accounts grants you access to your friends list once again however you then lose all currency (auric, iri, BP) not to mention game progression.
