With the new map changes survivors are dropping like flies and there's literally no time to do totems. I've had to sacrifice teammates just to ensure my gens get done. Forget about totems.

I was playing against The Spirit on Dead Dawg Saloon (new map) and I personally had enough time to search, find and destroy 3 totems that was in use. Your saying there isn't enough time?

You could always stop gen rushing and take a few mins to look around.

They’re gonna fix it with MMR. And by fix it I mean hide the ranks so you can’t post/complain about this anymore.

If they decide to hide ranks. I think a lot of killers will switch. The killers are already sick of losing against swf groups. Killers don't need swf groups hiding even more.

  • I tried the nurse for the daily challenge and put her on my never play list. The survivors are to good and they avoid every attack and you're punished with the animation of blinking at the end.

You should be able to blink and not get the animation unless you hit a successful hit on a survivor. She's way to slow to chase down a survivor to even hit them with a normal attack.

Nurse is a killer that just isn't worth doing to me.

  • @Magikazam said:

So let me start by showing some fact. it take 80 sec doing a gen whitout any tools , alone, providing you don't hit any great skill check. it take 120 second for someone to die on a hook. Survivors not only have numerical advantage and the ability to apply presure on an average of 2 or 3 differant gens (If we consider that at all time, 2 survivor are either healing/in a chase/on a hook). but they also have lots of perk to give themselves even more time, negate their own bad play and to litteraly remove the need of other survivor and being able to carry themself. You don't even need these perk anyway, you got body blocking, flashlight save. hook saboting, the ability to do bones and remove killer perks.

What does killer get? between 5 and 15% more mouvement speed (Unless you are nurse and you are acctualy slower then a survivor...) A power that depend on your killer and that are questionably weak for some. when you need addon to do well, it an issue. Survivors got tons of perks to extand chase time, and item to slow down killer doing his objectives. You would think it the same for killer right? Wrong. Sure killer has option, but only has perk and these perk are questionably usefull..

Pop- Probably the best killer perk atm. it the only reliable perk that any killer can use to slow down generator speed, the requirement to use it okay and reward killer for avoiding camping.

Thanatophobia- It trash. it only slow by 4%, assuming all survivor are injured or on hook. If all survivor are injured, they probably wont be on gens. It can work on some niche build like Plague, if you face people that refuse so cleanse...

Dying light- only give 3% per hook and cap at 27% if you have hooked everyone trice except the Obsession. The downside being that the obsession heal other faster and un-hook faster. It real bad. By the time the repair speed debuff become relevant, you don't need it anymore. The time you win on gens is also slightly negated by the fact survivor heal faster if they play they card right.

Hex Ruin- has the downside of being a Hex, a relly weak one now that it got nerfed. It only work on generator that aren't worked on...so it don't slow down survivor unless they love to stop repairing at 60% to randomly find another gen...

Hex Huntress lullaby- Weak for a hex, take to much token to become usefull and revolve around the survivor to make mistake. Survivor wont miss skillcheck after 40+ hours of playing...

Remember me- Affect door opening time up to 16 seconds... not relly that usefull, you can play trapper or hag and set trap and it would make a better endgame build than this.

Blood warden- Is the endgame version of pop. Require you to be sure to have someone to hook when endgame happend. it not that bat, but it is certainly a gimmicky perk for endgame build.

Corrupt intervention- this one is kinda weird in term of usefullness. A must have if you play trapper or hag. on other killer too, it a risk that depend on the survivors. Will they try and find the 3 unblocked gens or will they simply do chest and bones? In all case it make them lose them and make chase start earlier but you need survivors to try and do those 3 openend gens. The downside is it becoming a dead perk after 2 minutes. A decent perk

Thrilling Tremors- same problem as Hex ruin, but this one can work on ultra aggresive slug build with oni or legion.

Surge- A good perk if you can down survivor where you want.

With all those perk, arguably 3-4 of them are viable, and only a single one of those can relly be slapped into any build.

The second issue with survivor is still related to perk.

Survivor strenght and weakness should be their teams. Alone they are weak, together they are strong. Sadly it not relly the case with all the perks that remove that need of having teamate helping you. Im talking about perk like selfcare, unbreakable, no mither, delivrance, those kind of perk. of course not all of them are op meta perk, but the issue stay the same. You can do something yourself that wouls usually require another survivor to do. It give your team a hudge time save. let just take self care for exemple. if you don't have it, that force one injured survivor to get healed by someone. so you got 2 people off gens minimum. if you have selfcare. only the injured one aint on gens and can heal himself. worst case senario, a chase is going on and 2 gens max are worked on till the injured person is healed. Self care make it so there alway one more person on gens. If you can go around survivor weakness of needing teamate, it useless to make them a team in the first place. these perk make your whole team stronger and give so much of a time boost...

Then we got the second chance perks. this post is getting real long so i will resume it real fast. Killer can't do play, they relly on survivor mistake. Survivors already need to be hooked trice. so in total for a 4k you need to down survivor 12 times. you hit survivors for a minimum of 24 times, assuming your killer don't oneshot and that survivor got no second chance perk. This number is relly hight and second chance perk turn those number way bigger when the entire team use them, and most of the time they do. that being said If the whole gameplay of killer relly on using survivors mistake, how come the survivor get a way to completly destroy any kind of advantage the killer had by playing correctly?

Now come the rant on camping and tunneling.

Yes I agree, camping suck, yet killer get extremly punished by the ranking system for doing it, no matter what the situation. My problem with this is, Why punishing the killer? they will lose if the survivor simply rush gens. it should be up to the survivor to counter that, not the game. The current system also punish killer who camp when the 3 other survivor swarm the hook before the killer has time to leave, and in that situation, camping should be the killer option and it should be rewarding them for playing correctly.

Yea I agree, it not fun bein tunneled. but why does survivors have SO many perk to counter it. Relly even whitout perks you can sabotage hook, flashlight save, body block. and then even if you still want another safer option there is BT. Why is the killer punished by so many counter cause they try to use the best logical way to slow down the game? Imagine if killer had a perk that punished you real hard by resetting a gen cause you worked on it insted of randomly jumping into a gen that at 0%... it just stupid.

Now im done ranting so I will finish this post talking about DS and OoO.

Everyone talk about how DS is strong and got op combo with other perk, so I think it just easy to fix those. Remove locker+ds combo, make it so it Unbreakable and DS have a shared ''Exhaustion-ish'' coldown so you can create a perfectly safe situation. I would personally just remove this perk or rework it cosidering survivor already got so many anti tunnel perk this one is overkill. Lastly, I would make it so hitting another survivor skip the 60 second on DS, cause that just not tunelling anymore and that prevent all the stupid save you could abuse with DS.

Just rework OoO, it litteraly a survivor nerfed version of old freddy Dreamworld. it make SWF so strong.

So what should be changed, well I think there a couple of options, notes I don't find all those option perfect, but yea. here they are. And let me be clear, i don't want ALL the option to be done. only maybe 1 or 2 of them so the survivor don't become useless.

    1. Nerf survivor second chance perk
    2. Nerf survivor self reliancer perk (self care and co)
    3. Buff killer Gens/gate pressure perk.
    4. Give killer a better way in their base kit to slow down gens.
    5. Keep survivor perk as they are, but make them die on second hook.
    6. Keep survivor perk as they are, but survivor each only have 2 or 3 slots.

I'd be happy with more gen speed nerf, BT only working once per match, BT + DS not working after gates are powered, Ruin buff, only one character being used in the match at one time, the ability to change items in the countdown screen, keys nerf, flashlight spam gone, t-bagging gone.

That's just a few off the top of my head

  • When I play as the killer I usually always get 4 man swf red ranks groups. It's very rare that I get anything other than swf groups on this game. Sometimes, but rarely I might pull a few purples once in a while or even rarely greens.

  • The Clown / The Spirit. These should not have been put together because The Spirit is OP.

  • What was the old borrowed time please?

I've been playing this game since 2016 and have seen balance on both sides. A year or two ago, I would get to red rank with both killer and survivor. The last 18 months have been nothing but continual survivor nerfs and the continual decline of any type of skill needed by killer to 4k during matches.

This recent patch where tons of dead zones are now on maps, and you really can't do anything as survivor, should not surprise anyone that has followed the updates or have come on these forums. For months anyone with an opinion that this game is not survivor sided has been bashed or banned from posting on here. I see 10x more posts and people getting attacked if they say anything about survivor no longer being fun or issues with the current balance. The mods have really turned this forum into a cesspool of people who have created an alternate reality of the balance of the game. The mods also seem to turn a blind eye to anyone attacking someone who argues for survivor balance. This has obviously created more of an echo chamber.

4-5 months ago escape ratios were released. Which showed overwhelmingly that this game was killer sided. To my disbelief, people still argued that even though all killers at red ranks have over a 50 percent kill ratio, some over 70 percent, that this game was still survivor sided.

Through your "balance" you have made this game just awful to play on survivor side. You have taken out the mind games. You've destroyed any type of critical thinking in the chase for killer. You've released a killer who completely destroys any resemblance of balance in a chase by giving that killer a long range gun. This game is overwhelmingly killer sided. To state otherwise is to deny reality.

I keep hearing about how killer got a few balance patches to nurse and ruin. Please. Look at the list that shows survivor nerfs compared to killer nerfs, you'll see that the list is 10x lengthier. Nobody should be surprised that this has become run in straight line simulator. We are living the meme. Expect even more nerfs to survivor in the future. They won't be done until every 10k hour lunchbox is able to 4k with ease.

This game went on for free on the PS+ a while back so it brought a lot of new players to the game. These new players then tried both sides. They queued solo for survivors and they got killed prob every game because of the killers knowing what to do. They then tried killer and then got put in with swf groups where again they killed prob no one.

This game would be balanced if players weren't using comms to win the game. Now because player can use comms in the game it went to survivor sided where they could gen rush, loop and then win easily with very little effort.

The updates are to stop the survivors winning so easily and to try and stop some gen rushing.

The toxic nature of the groups I go up against are so bad. t-bagging during chases, t-bagging at the exit gate, 3 times the survivors run the same window before moving onto next set, then loop double windows at the next set, drop every pallet around the map and blinded on all of the pallet and then once you hit the survivor another survivor will pop up t-bagging you to try and take over the chase from the other injured one. Why your chasing these for minutes gens are popping left right and centre.

  • @SkeletalElite said:

One of the reasons slugging is so strong is because the killer can down someone and that gurantees they're out for at least 20 seconds but probably more like 40 and also a second person needs to waste a ton of time to get them up, unlike with unhooking which is basically instant and the time wasted is basically only travel time.

With this in mind my idea is to reduce the number of charges needed to fully heal a slug from 16 to 8, but half the base recovery speed. So slugs still recover at the same speed, but survivors are better at getting the slugs up.

Also right now you should almost always recover instead of crawling as a slug, this makes the decision to crawl vs recover a more meaningful decision since a survivor will pick you up very fast anyways.

As a side note please buff flip flop to give wiggle to recover at a rate 1:1 but still capped to 50% instead of granting it at a 1:2 ratio. (Quarter recover= quarter wiggle. half recover = half wiggle, 3/4 recover = half wiggle)

I've knocked someone down on the floor at say a gen seen a survivor and boom gone right after then to kill them as well.

I don't need a survivor walking up to the first person and getting them off the floor / healing in seconds.

This idea to me is to make survivors stronger once again. Sorry to say the survivors are already strong enough and don't need buffing even more.

I can't believe it, it actually worked. I didn't break the doors this time and I got a survivor trapped in that room. I even had the bamboozle perk, so techincally if I wanted, I could have kept her there the entire game with no way out of the game other than dc. I wonder if the devs did this on purpose, a little payback for all those infinite window loop abusers ;)

The other 3 survivors would escape after doing gens and then if you trapped a survivor in the room, you would get a ban for holding the game hostage.

  • @BunnyTheHutt said:

Been playing the new update all day, and when survivors want too gen rush games still end in 5-6 mins. There simply isn't enough time for someone like Leatherface or Deathslinger too pressure gens unless they 3 gen. Plus BHVR buffed perks too simply make the gen nerfs completely void, making the whole thing useless. We need heavy nerfs too gens for killers too have enough time too pressure gens, no one enjoys being stuck playing the same 3-4 killers because they are the only ones who can handle the gen rush.

The update is a step in the right direction but I would have personally slowed down gen speeds a little more or like players have said a secondary objective.

The secondary objective would give the killer time to pressure the gens.

with high sensis really hard to control killers that require aim, and it's also hard to lunge..if you want to play huntress i recommend 2 things: you either get use to new sensitivity or lower your sens below 50... old sens should be around that

Before the update I was fine on 100%. I could aim, attack lunge attack and now it just seems I can't do anything even when I played as the survivors it was to much.

I will try and lower it down even more.

It seems stupid to ruin sensitivity on something that wasn't even broken.

And boom another survivor nerf these devs are nerfing this game to the point nobody will play it because winning as survivor will be near impossible and/or the lobbies will take an hour because all the kids and tryhards will run killer this latest patch has basically killed the perk " Prove thyself " it will take 3 ppl on a gen to have any effect now if anyone else has any examples of what other survivor perks the devs have made obsolete to please the KMs crowd post it down below I myself won't be spending anymore money on this game and will be asking my friends to do the same until they start balancing this game instead of catering to a particular group

They have nerfed the survivors because they was to strong. Survivors gen rushing and looping was crazy mad and now they made it fair on the killer.

  • Freddy isn't that op. He's easily outsmarted as long as you don't go running around the map trying to get out of sleep state and stay hidden.

  • If they look sad and pathetic and I'm in a good mood I might let one or two survive.

If they play toxic then I will play just to purely kill ASAP.

  • @Rezblaze said:

Wiggling in the Killer's grasp is meant to influence their movement and buy you time as the survivor to escape or for others to slow him down to a hook. Though, Wiggling in itself doesn't do much besides make the meter progress. If you're running Boil Over it becomes a bit of an issue, but nothing really worrisome.

I propose then, a more strategic play toward the wiggle mechanic, that makes it more fun for the struggler and more concerning for the killer.

By tapping A or D, you can influence the direction you go, instead of just mashing them both to gain progress. You can spam either A or D to influence the Killer in a particular direction, which forces him to correct himself to get to the hook.

However, if you spam either direction and do not alternate, the progress you make is reduced toward freeing yourself, whereas alternating maximizes the time you can free yourself but minimizes the directional influence and reduces the chance the Killer is slowed by bumping into certain obstacles.

So it would look more like a mini-game of trying to steer the killer and the killer trying to regain control, rather than having it be a minor inconvenience at best.

It would also act as a indirect buff to Iron Grasp, as it reduces the effect of struggling which allows better steering by the killer.

As such, some adjustments to Boil Over would be in order then:

    • Boil Over

-- Your Struggle effects on the Killer is increased by 25/50/75%.

-- Struggling in favor of a particular direction no longer receives a progression penalty, and standard struggling progression is increased by 5%.

-- The Killer cannot see hook auras in a range of 14/18/20 meters while carrying you.

So you want to nerf killers and buff survivors?

The survivors are already over powered and the killer is already under powered.

  • Having one bad game like this actually makes me not want to play it. I can honestly say players like this ruin this game.

  • @OniWantsYourMacaroni said:

I think most people that play killer already experienced this situation:

One or more survivors don't ready up,wait until the timer almost reaches the last 5 seconds where both sides aren't able to change their loadout anymore and switch to a different character that is usually equipped with strong offerings/perks/items leaving the killer no choice to prepare for that and often leads to very frustrating matches if multiple survivors choose to switch at the last second.

My suggestion would be that the loadout should already be locked in when the timer reaches the 15th second of the timer. That way the killer has enough time to decide whether he wants to play against the team of survivors in the lobby or not.

I play as killer and I've had enough of groups swapping their characters at the last second. They start off as say a standard Claudette and then at the last second. I see Nea with items, Jane with items, David with items and a Meg with items. All with bough clothes on and stuff.

Survivors shouldn't be able to swap everything at the last second to sneak in all their stuff because it goes from a normal lobby to definately a swf lobby.

I agree this needs looking into because it's so unfair.

  • @gamebo5000 said:

Since everyone is sharing their ideas let me share. When multiple Gens pop within 30 seconds all survivors should have the expose effect for the rest of the game.Make survivors have 1st person view. Make half of the survivors perks hex perks. Reduce the endgame timer to 1 minute. Every killer has a passive that allows them to mori one random survivor. Every game now has 2 killers instead of one. Devour hope is no longer a hex perk. When generators explode the survivor gets injured.

Devs are required to play the game with veteran players every time they make an update, so they can see first hand how stupid most of their changes are.

This is a good idea. It'd stop the survivors gen rushing.

Can there please be a suicide in dying state button ? I really don't appreciate getting slugged for 10 minutes because the killer wants to secure a 4k. Just let me get onto the next match please, I don't care if I lose at this point or what happens to the other survivor the killer's already won. Just let me let go, like on the hooks.

Or at least make the dying time faster.

edit: I don't mean slugged once or twice, like after the killer downs you after getting hooked. which can easily be countered by bringing unbreakable. i'm talking about 2v1 matches where you get slugged 5-8 times, the killer finds one of the two and this just continues until both are downed or one dies from the bleed out.

I've seen survivors kill them selves on purpose so the other survivors can escape. This would be a massive mistake an make more people not want to play as killer. We don't need survivors even more over powered than they already are.

  • @Snowstruck said:

No, I do not want them to change it drastically or remove it. Hell no.

But I have a good, in my opinion, suggestion for if they nerf it! It's small but I think it's good : ).

Make it so killers can only mori if the survivor is on death hook, or reached stage two on first hook. It would be a lot funner to play against, in my opinion.

Now, don't get me wrong, I actually love to play against moris, believe it or not! I think it's kinda funny honestly, especially the hag or bubba's pig screeching. But since so many people hate moris, this would be a small but great way to make it funner for other people : ).

Mori are fine as they're. When moris are used they stop survivors gen rushing so much.

  • My opinion

Most of the time the gens are done in minutes and defo under 15 minutes. It's the survivors fault for gen rushing and ignoring totems.,

DS does how ever need to be nerfed. It's used by skill players to become even more invincible in an already disadvantaged match.

  • It's either nurse or trapper. Nurse power isn't very good and the only thing I can manage to trap is myself.

  • I personally think borrowed time should only be used once per match and then it's not capable of being used again. It's way to over powered in the game to be used multiple times.

  • A few reason to t&c are

If I get a toxic group where they're t-bagging me in game. I'm stand there and watch them and wait for there team to come to me thus no more t-bagging.

    or

If the survivors are pro veteran survive with friends who have gen rushed and 1+ gens have popped before even getting one hook, I'm going to force them to come to me instead.

I'll always get a message on the PS complaining about t&c and blame me for being bad killer, but I always thank them for being toxic and t-bagging me in game.

  • I had a match the other day. I downed a bill in final collapse of the game. some survivors was over at the gates just waiting. My decision was to pick him up and risk ds or leave him there and wait the time. I decided to wait and boom he revived himself and the survivor escaped.

The game needs to disable ds and borrowed time once the exit gates are powered.

  • @SurviveByDaylight said:

You’re a new killer. Nooooo killers are super OP atm. Maybe some of them need buffs, but not trapper 😂😂😂😂

  • I think the killer should get to for free if they're up against survive with friends groups

  • @gatsby said:

The meta perks are drastically better than anything else on Killer and no matter who you are running them will instantly improve your gameplay. Pop, Corrupt and BBQ. Good on every Killer everywhere. All DLC Killers.

For Survivors, some of the strongest perks in the game are all on free characters. Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Bond, Iron Will, Self-Care, Unbreakable, Borrowed Time, Spine Chill, Resilience, Prove Thyself. The only really strong perk that isn't on a free Survivor is Decisive, but it's been in the game so long that the majority of people will have it for free since Laurie has been here since 2016.

Idk just feels a little strange to me. If Killers don't have the exact meta they get gen rushed to shreds, but Survivors have more freedom in builds and super open access to the best perks from the start

Most standard character perks suck and have very little gen pressure abilities

That's the opposite of what this will do, that will make killers dodge even more or bring powerful add-ons or moris specifically because it's a SWF.

I'll be one of the players dodging the survive with friends group

  • It's worse when the game puts you up against red ranks 4 man party and you get absolutely slaughtered. I've never seen such an unbalanced matchmaking in any game I've ever played until I had a go of this myself. I think they're trying to sort some stuff out, but until the devs realise it's time to nerf survive with friends lobbies. Games are going to be unfair.

  • Face camping is a valid tactical way to kill survivors especially when put up against pro veteran survive with friends groups.

  • Show people it's a survive with friends group before we ready up the game. Give us the option if we want to go into a disadvantaged match.

  • When is survive with friends nerf coming?

  • I see it, The hatch shouldn't appear for any player until its the killer vs the last survivor.

I've been in many matches now where it's the last 2 survivors and me the killer. The player I hook, dies on purpose so the last survivor can jump the hatch as soon as it opens so they can escape (save rank).

Most of the time I don't have a chance to kill the 4th player because of this.

The hatch appearing on the floor is actually making me want to leave the 3rd survivor in dying state instead of hooking them, so I've more time looking for that 4th survivor, or where the hatch is. (it's not against the rules to leave a survivor in dying state because they have a bleed out time so the game will end naturally for them). It's because I'm really bored of the 3rd survivor dying on purpose so the 4th can jump the hatch in seconds of it opening and escaping (saving their rank progress).

  • DS shouldn't work after the gens have been done.

Borrowed time should also not work after the gens have been done.

  • @KingFrost said:

I used to think this was a good idea. The problem is, it makes current hex perks MUCH worse. People will start prioritizing totems, which means things like Ruin and Devour Hope won't last.

If ruin gets any worse I don't think the killer would be able to survive against good team at all.

  • So because survivors gen rush... You want NOED removed / reworked?

The fix is already there for everyone to see.... Survivors stop gen rushing and instead look for totems.

All your trying to say, is that you want NOED removed, so a survivor can freely run the killer around the map after the gens are done, doing the loops whilst another survivor is opening the door. Then the survivor with the chase escapes because the door is open.

It's because once the gens are done, NOED comes into action. The killer downs someone, hooks them and the other survivors are powerless unless they go and find the totems they couldn't be bothered to look for in the first place.

Survivors are way to overpowered right now and this game doesn't need another killer nerf.

    I

  • I played the trapper once or twice and refused to use him since. He's so weak and pathetic. His traps take way to long to go and collect and put down. Then to take the mic you stand on your own trap, and this is usually when your chasing someone or carrying someone to the hook.

  • @lazerlight said:

I feel like the person getting camped should be awarded survival points for each state they are being camped on. 2000 points per state, and the scoring event could be called "Held Captive".

If you want this. Us killers wants extra points for survivors blocking hooks, doorways etc when we're trying to hook someone.

  • @ZarosNozara said:

Very simple. NOED only works on people who did not clear a totem that game. That provides incentives to run hex builds that also give exposed, and provides incentives for survivors to clear totems, because unless your playing SWF on mic it's almost impossible to get survivors to clear totems unless they see ruin. So even if you take time to clear totems NOED will still appear at end game and you will most likely die to it.

mic or not, solo or survive with friends. People only get stung with NOED because they want to gen rush and try to escape as fast as they can. NOED users should not be punished because people want to jump on gen as fast as they can.

  • Camping the hook is a valid technique in the game. If the killer is camping the hook then your team should be on the gens. It sucks for the one person on the hook but other 3 should be able to complete the gens and escape.

  • @Cheers said:

Have you tried turning up your brightness on the TV? For me the only map I struggle seeing in is the game.

It was like a Asian looking map with the big building in the middle. I can't remember the name of it. I've already tried to change settings but this map is way to dark and I was unable to see anything.

  • They're working on new match making for the future to try and combat this happening.

  • NOED - If a team gen rushed and ignores the totems then it's their own fault.

Keys - should be removed because survive with friends are all escaping at once and was not intended for all players to win.

Mori - Nothing wrong with them. Rarely see them in game. When someone uses a mori, it stop survivors gen rushing, it stop them unhooking in front of the killer, It stops t-bagging a lot, it forces players to play more cautiously instead of running to gens as soon as they're in the match.

  • Tunnelling - Nothing wrong with it. In my opinion only good players complain about this. Most matches in Dead By Daylight are survive with friends and they always work together to try and take the killer off the injured person. The survive with friends groups are to powerful to do anything about tunnelling. I don't think many players would not play killer if they couldn't hook the same person in a row. This would just make the survivors even more over powered that what they're if you took tunnelling out of the game.

Camping - Nothing wrong with this again. In my opinion only good players complain about this. If a killer is camping a hook, they're not on generators meaning the team should be and like someone above said " Was already abused by survivors ".

Gen rushing - I agree, gen rush is a massive problem in the game. but is being combated in the next update I believe (3.7.0) It's nothing major on gen speeds, but it's something at least. Needs to have more work on gen rushing in the future.

Body Blocking - This is annoying because survive with friends will sit with 3 people in the way of the hook or door or anything so you're unable to get to the hook or hook the survivor and then drop the survivor. Body blocking so you can't hook a survivor should be combated by reduced healing and gen speeds for the next 1 / 2 minutes ii you take damage from blocking the hook.

T-bag mid game- I've also asked for t-bagging to be gone. Rapidly clicking button to t-bag mid game should stop your character from crouching for X period of time.

T-bag at exit gate - T-bagging after opening the exit gate and standing just close enough where the killer hits you and you auto fall through and win. This should be, if you stand t-bagging at the exit it will block and the survivor will then get a 99% speed reduction so the killer can get to the gate and then can hook you for free.

Flashlight - Should have a timer of at least 10 seconds when it can next be used next to avoid spamming it.

Personally, every pallet drop comes with a nice flashlight to the face. It's so much time wasted chasing the survivor for them to drop a pallet and then blind you then doing it all over again on the next pallet.

Honestly the fix is pretty obvious and not hard to implement. Just add a debuff to the game when you utilize SWF. Just put a small tooltip when entering SWF that says something along the lines of "Playing Survive with Friends encounters an x% reduction to certain action speeds such as generator repairs and healing. The percentage increases by x for every survivor in the group. Bloodpoints for this mode are increased by 100%" It still encourages players to use it, but gives them a "hard mode" for doing so at an increased reward. Once this is implemented, they can work around it. It wouldn't deter SWF from doing so, cause if you wanna play with friends your gonna play with friends. You are challenged more to work together, and you get rewarded for doing so.

All of this works for both sides of the game, Killers have an actual fighting chance, don't have to play as toxic, and SWF actually get rewarded for playing a harder version of the game.

Something like this has been stated lots of time but has not yet been introduced. I don't know why, but maybe in the future something like this will be implemented.

The best thing you can do is turn off chat or msg because theirs so many childish players in dbd

Try being on the PS4 where players moan at your after every match. Had 1 match just now 1st game of the day as the killer and received 2 messages right away from 2 different players moaning at me. If the survivors don't escape they call it a bad match. As a killer getting 1 kill is a good match for me, so 2 kills was a bonus.

Sorry to be that "one guy", but recently I've been getting a lot of unfair matchmaking. This needs to be fixed as its causing a massive discrepancy in both skill and general playability. Has this been happening to anyone else? Where you're not even past level 16, and you keep getting killers/ survivors that are rank 10's, 6's and 5's?

This is quite honestly killing the fun factor that plays heavily into the game. When matched to people of equal rank, things are actual fun and offer a good challenge. When you're placed against opponents that are WAY higher than you, it tends to just suck all of the fun out of the game.

You're not the only one who is being matched unfairly. Some other players in the game are being matched badly, but the devs are working on new matchmaking to help get better matches for players.
