1) "If there is a wall i'm forced to face it even though I don't want to."
...I'm sorry but that sounds... Ridiculous...
2) I'm pretty sure I already said how to. You go over their body and wait there for a second. Unless the survivor is really smart they'll come out because flashlights need perfect timing and you can't really run out last second. I've had killers do it to me many times, it works.
3) You're saying this like flashlights have infinite batteries. And if that survivor is hard to catch give up and go for someone else. The gens are being done while you're chasing them - they're not worth it.
Listen... You seem like you struggle with killer. Maybe try playing survivor more or find a killer you feel more comfortable with... or you know... Find a different game that doesn't aggravate you so much..
I see what you're trying to do. You're trying to aggravate me. I'm doing really well on this game tbh. I mean really really well. It'd surprise you in the rank I'm. You shouldn't be telling any players to go find another game to play at all.

Hard disagree, they're one of the only truly interesting items in the game unlike boring toolboxes that just make a bar fill faster, and basic medkits that make you fill another bar faster but with the added bonus of being able to heal yourself.
And come on, you "shouldn't have to look at a wall if you don't want to", really? You have a great counter available right there whenever you down someone near a wall, if you don't use it then it's your fault if you get blinded as a result. Should NOED be removed because someone "doesn't want to do totems"?
Someone hiding nearby sort of has to predict when you're about to pick someone up unless they're hiding extremely close to you. Fake the pickup, spin around and unless they're behind a tree right next to the downed survivor you can often see them going for the save. If they keep their cool and wait for you to actually pick up and then get the save then they simply did a good flashlight save.
Yes I'm forced to look at the wall. I don't want to look at the wall just because their mate is sat there ready and waiting to stun me. I always look at the wall now even though I don't want to.
I'd agree with a good flashlight save but almost every time there is a flashlight right there ready and waiting. It needs a nerf to stop it being used as much as what's it. I've seen a lot of players complain over flashlights about this game and I'm one of them.

Or just learn how to play this game.
To say I'm playing the game. I guess I already know how to play.... :|
You will not get any reply in the future if you're just being a bad troll.

@Milo said:
No they should not. They are hard to pull off (saves) and at pallets, yes they're annoying but not that usefull.
Use it a few times and obviously you get better at using the flashlight. Practice makes perfect. Then that player will be blinding every pallet drop all over the map and blinding the killer on survivor picks up.
The flashlight must be useful because in my games 1 in ever 2 games have flashlights in them.

Killers complain about anything. Y'all are OP anyway let us have our flashlights.
You know what's OP in this game... SWF using comms. Let's killer have out flashlight nerf.

@MiniPisa said:
When picking someone up all you need to do is face the wall. If you're in the open then pretend you're about to pick up, wait for someone to run out and then chase them away. Pallet blinding doesn't last long and you can hear the survivor running when you have a good enough headset so its not a big deal. If they speak past you while blinded then you'll know because of the lack of scratch marks. By the way, I play on console and flashlight's are even harder to use - I can blind on pallets fine but when it comes to saving that is a whole new level of skill. Not just the aim but the timing needs to be perfect. They're not easy to use and therefore do not need a nerf or removal.
If there is a wall I'm forced to face it even though I don't want to.
How can you fake picking someone up if the survivor who has the flash light is hiding out of view just waiting for you to pick the survivor up. I don't know they're there hiding. All of a sudden they're there blinding me.
It's every pallet drop. Drop a pallet, blind, run to next pallet, drop then blind, repeat all the way around the map. It's costing to much time to get blinded on every single pallet.
I play on the PS4 and I SC every game at the end if I remember. Over the last (SC) 109 matches I've had in this game, 54 games didn't have flash lights and 55 games had flashlights. 1 game had 3 players using flashlight and 5 games had 2 players using flashlights and the rest of the matches had at least 1 player using a flash light. So that makes a ratio of at least 1 in every 2 games has flashlight players.
So to sum up nearly every game I'm having to deal with a flashlight user blinding every possible chance they can. I think it's a time the flashlight got a nerf so it's not able to use as often or some sort of nerf for it.

Another example of what has just happened in this game because of hatch appearing on the floor when not needed.
I had used a mori. 2 gens left 2 survivors left, both can be killed by me. I knew from previous game not to kill the 3rd survivor until I know where the hatch is so I can get so close to it so I can close it.
I killed the survivor by my hand on the hatch and the 4th jumped the hatch before I got out of my animation of mori because the 4th survivor was also camping the hatch once again.
Is this some sort joke now? I miss out on another kill again because of the hatch appearing way to early. Are you going to stop the hatch appearing on the floor?
I can't keep losing out on this last kill because of this hatch. I hate killers that leave survivors dying on the floor to force other survivors to come out of hiding but if the wagon calls for it. All aboard the wagon now here I come.
And no this above is not holding the game hostage because there is a bar timer so the 3rd survivor will die naturally slowly. Fell sorry for who ever the 3rd survivor will be in my games now.
I do see why this game has so many toxic players now.

DC penalties should be removed from the game all together. In my opinion why should players have to play in unfair lobbies all because matchmaking doesn't work in this game making players quit the game.
If a player is ranked 20 and gets in with ranks 4 then why should the player at rank 20 have absolutely rubbish matches and not allowed to leave the game.
Instead of DC penalties in the game. Better match making is needed instead.
-
There is nothing wrong about camping in this game. I'ts a tactical way to get a kill. If someone is camping the hook then the other survivors should be doing gens. It's simple. Not every survivor escapes in this game.

@Hippie said:
Killers really shouldn't be able to see survivors' names in pre-game lobby. Some killers love to get their sick kicks by tunnelling/mori-ing survivors whom they've played against before.... and it's really disgusting and unfair. I played a game yesterday where a Spirit recognized one of my teammates and took a mori.... my teammate asked them why they used it and they responded very nastily. I guess they hated me as well because I agreed with my teammate, because I played against them again today and they took an ebony mori and proceeded to trash-talk me in end-game chat.
I see no reason for killers to see survivors names in the lobby, since all it does is allow killers to hold grudges and target people whom they don't like.... be it for crouch-spamming/flashlight clicking, or simply outplaying them, or having a certain NAME (TTV comes to mind). It's especially injurious in the red ranks, since I find myself being matched with and against the same people often. And I know, you wouldn't be able to find out if you were playing against a SWF by looking at their friend list, but many people already have private profiles and it really doesn't matter if you know or not.... and besides that, I think that being targeted by the killer for any of the reasons I stated above is far worse than playing against a SWF (since SWFs aren't personally targeting the killer with their antics, they're just doing it in general.... AND you can still win against SWFs), since mine and my teammates games are ending in less than 10k points across the board, and definite de-ranks.
I think it would be great if the portraits on the bottom left-hand of the screen only had the characters' names.... e.g. Nea 1, Nea 2, Jane, Quentin, e.t.c.. And you would only be able to see their names in end-game lobby, just like the way killer's name is only shown in end lobby. For reporting purposes, the character the person was playing would be attached to the end of their name, like "SteveMain31 (Steve)". 😏
The next step would be for the killer to not be able to see survivors in the pre-game lobby.... so you could use the cosmetics you bought and liked without being targeted with toxic behavior! It's pretty sad that people actually get offended at cosmetics, characters and names, but I firmly believe that steps need to be taken to minimize the impact of these salty killers.
This is stupid. Hardly anyone holds grudges in this game unless they sit down and write down the players name and then writes down the thing they did in the game to annoy them.
Crouch spamming... I think you mean t-bagging so let's say it correctly.
Moris is used to killer players whether it be tunneling them and then killing them is not actually sayinng they did it on purpose to anyone player. They killed a player using an item in the game.
To me this sounds like another survivor wanting to hide their name so they can do what ever they want when ever they want to.
There is absolutely no need to hide anyone's names in this game.

Three simple steps to ban camping.
- After ten seconds of the killer being within ten meters of the hook and not in a chase, the killer’s aura becomes visible to all players.
- After ten additional seconds within 15 meters of the hook without being in a chase the killer’s movement speed and recovery speed from attacks is slowed by 50%.
- After ten additional seconds within 15 meters of the hook, the killer catches on fire and has ten seconds to leave the area or he dies.
Post edit: This is satire. Camping doesn’t bother me. I’m a survivor main, and there are plenty of ways to counter camping killers. Although, I think survivors new item with the next patch should be a flamethrower.
Camping the hook is a strategic part of the game and is viable in so many ways. If the killer is camping a hook then team mates should be doing gens. The End.
-
- The killer isn't easy to play at all.
- face camping is a strategic part of the game
- The killers range isn't that much
When I play killer I'm always going up against swf lobbies 90% of the time. I don't get an easy game at all. Using coms in the game is why survivors are so OP.
I wasn't going to post on here but you baited me into it

I'm ready for the spicy comments on this one. <3
But it is my honest opinion that the exit hatch needs to open more quickly. If a survivor is 3rd hook and instant dies the hatch still takes so long to open. I just had a very, very long and well played game on the PS4. Honestly there were very little mistakes made by either side. Great chases, some of the most fun I've had as a Survivor in a long time, and the Killer was great at applying pressure.
I solo'd 2 gens by myself and despite each team member being hooked 3 times I had yet to be hooked once. I did 3 safe hook saves. I took the Killer on one chase that lasted almost two minutes, another that was over 45 seconds, it was just clever mind games around walls.
Unfortunately we had 1 gen left and the Survivors were whittled down. We got chased off of our gen, Killer chose the teammate, she was third hook. I stood on the Exit Hatch and waited... And waited... And waited... Killer had time to cross the entire map (Demogorgon) and RIGHT as it opened he had hit me a second time. Between hit 1 and hit 2 I merely pointed at him because what else could I do? Unfortunately, this Killer apparently didn't think that great chases and not having been hooked once AND having found the Exit Hatch AND reached it before him and just waiting patiently for the like 10 seconds to be over with merited any sympathy.
The Killer did nothing wrong here. He played a great game and he didn't owe me an escape. I'm not mad at the Killer, merely frustrated that even after playing a great game it comes down to losing because of a dreadfully, painfully long animation.
It's frankly unfair to Survivors that we have to wait for a long animation to play and then still wait another 2-3 seconds after it's done for the hatch to open. Also if Killer and Survivor hit jump/close at the same time it gives Killer preference it seems. Why even bother having the hatch escape? If the Killer knows where it is then you're not going to get it, you're going to just stand there. This is far, far from the first time this has happened as well. I think the fact that I had played such a long game plus not been hooked is what has taken me to the forums.
What do you think, Survivors and Killers? Whether agree or disagree, let's not turn this into bashing on either side. Let's be respectful to one another, to the devs, to the game. Happy gaming, all! <3
(English is not my first language, sorry if things are said strangely or very rambly, I over explain to make sure I am being clear. 🤣)
The exit hatch shouldn't even appear on the ground until it can used to avoid players camping on it to esacpe.
I've had the 4th player escape 2 times in 2 different games because as soon as the 3rd person died on the hook I couldn't get to exit hatch in time and they escaped.
Why did these 2 escapee you say.... Because the survivors knew where it was and camped on it.
I for one want the exit hatch not to appear so survivors can't stand by it waiting for it to open.

Honestly this update changed nothing. Devs must finally admit that there is no problem with gen effifency, but with overly with gens and how easily they can be done without any effort by a good SWF. I would say rework finally the objectives. The game will never be balanced if you guys not gonna look at the survivors objectives overly.
I don't mind sol q's but imo it's swf that are to over powered for this game and swf groups should be nerfed.

Both Killer and Survivor take 3 or more minutes to find a lobby? What the hell, searching for games now is easily 33% of the entire game expirience! This happened after the patch release. Devs, what "adjustments" have you done?!
SWF are are to op and the killer feel they don't a one sided game so the killers have low players hence the wait times.

That's bad

A bit of both I think. Not so much swf as headsets. I don't know how they could try to balance that out. Maybe give the killer more rewards for playing against a swf? Extra perks? Not a big change but "AFTER" a match is done I wouldn't mind having a little symbol that told me who was in a swf so I know if it was a 2 man or a 4 man. Can't have it before the match because killers would lobby dodge.
SWF. Here is a few exampled. Gen / healing speed reduction, no same characters, only 1 perk over all 4 character per game, different equipment to be taken in the game, running / pallet drop / window vault speed reduction.
It's quite easy to nerf swf to balance the game out so the game isn't one sided

What's the point of setting up a 3 gen and patrolling it if after a single kill everyone else can escape via hatch. If hatch spawns on the other side of the map you have no way to guard it and keep the 3 gen. With the state of the game, 3 gen builds are the only way for some killers to be even remotely usable. Yet this item completely ######### them. Not to mention that it can come out of nowhere if survivors find one in a chest. Whats the counter play to that? Run frankilns every game in case they get a key from a chest? Keys are a stupid item that just aren't fun to go against and punish killers for doing what they are suppose to do. They should be removed or completely reworked
Keys should only let the survivor holding it through the hatch only and not allow the others players to escape through it.
-
SWF should be nerfed because they're to over powered. Solo queue is fine.

Killers have so many add ons that make them broken (Nurse can stack 9 teleports, wraith can see people through walls by giving up speed?? people get banned for WH and its a given, The shape has the fragment of hair that gives him unlimited EXPOSURE and he has scratched mirrors - WH, Huntress' axes have such a large hitbox that you don't even need to aim it, it will most likely hit and she can carry 9 hatchets, Killer have auto aim which doesn't make sense because where is the skill in that???) So how are survivors gonna escape?? - 360 gets nerfed, windows and loops taken away. STOP nerfing survivors give us some reason to try at this game because the only way we win is if matchmaking fails and gives noob killers because otherwise every killer below rank 10 knows how to bait and has all the broken add ons. Killers can camp us and we can't do anything about it what possible upper hand do we have?
I read the title killers need a nerf. I've just gone up against a 4man swf 1,1,2,2 but you think the killer needs a nerf? Where is the swf nerf?

I'm actually against any cross play because console can't compete with PC. My opinion.

You don't.. because they found it first fair and square bro. If you hate it this much play a faster killer
I knew exactly where it was and so did the last players. That's why they went down the furthest away from the hatch so the 4th could jump it before I could get there.
Are reading what I wrote or just trolling?
-
I've just lost out on the 4th kill again because once again as soon as I hooked the 3rd survivor and he died instantly because it was his last. The 4th survivor jumped the hatch in seconds.
The devs need to change this so the killers have chance to actually look for the hatch and not have a survivor jump it in seconds.

And? You can't get a 4k every game... I know how irritating it is though.
It's not about 4 kills. It's about swf running cross map to get killed as far as possible away from the hatch so the killer doesn't have a chance to even get the 4th kill because the survivors isalready camping the hatch ready to escape.
If the hatch wasn't shown up I would have had a chance at that kill but I didn't get a chance because the other player purposely died away from the hatch.
How is it fair for us killers losing a kill because they using comms to purposely die away from hatch so that one survivor can escape and keep their rank 1 progress?
-
@MiniPisa said:
Are you forgetting that killers can close the hatch now? Whoever gets there first wins... Its balanced enough
Close it if we get to it in time. How we suppose to hook a survivor then cross map to hatch and then close it before they jump it? They're camping next to it. Please explain how am I suppose to close it from other side of map?

Im fine with it as it is. They already have to complete three gens to get there, and I rarely depip when I get a 3k.

Even if you don't tap full power potential as SWF you still get legit every usefull aura reading addon into your basekit minus OoO just by talking. You get to counter the surprise factor killer has at the start of the game when you still don't know who you face. If your friend tell you he just got stalked by ghostface, you will be double checking around you more than if no one could communicate you who they got chased by. Your potatoe friend who relly only on terror radius? now Ghostface wont get free stalk early game on him. You got baseline Kindred. that save 1 perkslot for survivor who already have 4 time the perks of a killer.
IMO SWF should have limited perk slot.
2 player- not affected
3 player- lose 1 perk slot (does not affect the fourth player who alone)
4 player- lose 2 perk slot.
If you get free perks for simply being in vocal chat, then you need to lose the ability to overstack second chances perk. A solo survivor has to use perk slot for overall utility and aura reading, or they can go stacked with second chances perk. Differance is they wont have both and have to make a choice.
Even with a 2 man swf group they can still be over powering and easily win a game.

Some people on here would say that's a balanced game purely because they don't want to see SWF nerf come.
I will say, it's not balanced and that was an unfair match. I feel sorry for that game.

Hello
Queue times are long because people don't like playing as the killer. As the killer you're 4 vs 1. At the moment this game favours the survivors and some killers including myself have had enough of going up with SWF groups. The SWF are sometimes toxic and many SWF are using comms to make the game go easier for them and faster. The killers aren't standing a chance to do anything at the moment against these really good groups. I've read some posts where rank 20 killers are in with rank 1 survivors. I believe the devs maybe working on some other matchmaking.
I've read some posts about the last update and some killers and survivors feel it's done very little to stop gen rushing. Once the devs do someone to help the killers out then more killers will be in the game and queue times will go down.

WARNING! Long post, TLDR at the end.
Hey everyone,
I'd like to start by telling the amount of experience I have with this game. I have played since April 2018, have over 1.5K hours (I'm PS4 player so it is just an approximated amount), I'm devotion 8 level 80 and have a platinum for this game. I play about 65/35 survivor/killer, play both roles every gaming session and have played all the killers but mostly focus on 9 of them. Even tried to learn nurse three times on console (over 50 matches). I'm red rank on both sides. I have followed the forums for over a year now, reading a lot of threads and upvoting comments i agree on, even if I haven't been very active with commenting myself.
I'm a solo survivor, have been doing fine with all the balance changes and I am overall happy about the direction the game is going. I'm glad the devs started reworking/buffing weaker killers and finally balanced some of the maps. I find the survivor side being easier and killer being more stressful and that's the reason for playing more survivor. Now I don't like being spoonfed in games. I have always liked challenges, that's why I have played all the soulsborne games multiple times and am addicted to roguelikes like The Binding of Isaac. If I'm having difficulties I go to youtube and find a video to learn to get better. I have learned the counters to nurse, to spirit, to new doctor etc.
Now, finally to the topic after this lenghty introduction. Freddy is the only killer I have a problem with playing against. I have tried different playstyles and tactics but nothing seems to work. I'm starting to come into conclusion that Freddy has too much going for him. Most Freddy players I have played against aren't that good, they can't get the first hit while survivor is awake but it does not matter since Freddy can just wait the survivor to fall asleep and spam the snares. Trap the loop, go through the pallet. If Freddy has difficulties, just camp with inbuild counter to borrowed time. If you are doing well, just go dominate even more with good map pressure and pop. Most of the time the Freddy players I have encountered have proxy camped and tunneled and at the end swept the floor clean with NOED if the match reached end game.
Now as I wrote that paragraph I realise it might seem like an unreasonable rant. But no, my intention is not to yell "I LOST, NERF FREDDY!" I have no problem with camping and tunneling because there is time and place for those tactics in some games and most killers don't play like that anyway. I have no problem with NOED. My experience just is that Freddy has all the tools with no downsides and barely skill required. It feels you are doomed no matter what. I bought the Nightmare on Elmstreet chapter after Freddy's rework and got the adept on first try, without sweating like with every other killer adepts. In one of the last streams last year the devs said that Freddy is the most lethal killer, it was around when everyone wanted spirit nerfed. So if the Spirit was overperforming then, my experience is that Freddy is starting to be at the same level. Also as a solo survivor I have no way to tell my teammate who is asleep being chased that what pallets are real if I'm awake or what area I triggered all the snares at if I'm asleep. This is one of those cases that SWF have clear advantage compared to solos.
So I would like to discuss about Freddy. What would be a good solution to rise skill ceiling with Freddy? Should some counterplay mechanism be added? Do you have tips for me and others who struggle against Freddy? Is there a good compromise to be found so that it feels skillbased playing against Freddy without robbing him his power?
My suggestions are:
1. Have the alarm that wakes the survivor up be random or change it to be not the one farthest away and not the closest one but some of those in middle range.
2. When a snare or dream pallet is triggered give a bubble notification to other players same way the doctor's shock gives. That way even solos can work together to counter Freddy's power.
3. Maybe lenghten the time it takes to fall asleep a bit, maybe 15 seconds or something. This would reward Freddy players that can mindgame awake survivors and punish those who just wait survivors to fall asleep.
4. Revert the change that gave Freddy the undetectable status effect when survivors are asleep. That was unnecessary addition to his already powerful toolkit.
Please keep this discussion civil and I hope that everyone who contributes gives reasoning behind their suggestions/claims.
Even if Freddy will never be changed again I will keep continuing to try getting better at playing against him and not giving up. Thank you for reading.
TLDR: Freddy has a very diverse power that works even when the player playing him is not that good. Could there be a way to rise the skill ceiling when playing Freddy? What would be a reasonable way to add counterplay against him but not nerfing him back to weak level?
Freddy isn't that powerful at all.
- I've personally crossed mapped it to wake up from clock many times and Freddy hardly/never sees me. I've also blew a gen or got a survivor to wake me up. It's not difficult.
- You've already countered his trap because it has gone off and not usable again unless he places one down. I think what you mean here is you want his pallets nerfed because your survivors try to loop Freddy and then get hit on a fake pallet thus no one likes looping him.
- His sleep state stops survivors gen rushing and forces them to do something other than just sit on a gen. Why would he need nerfing so players can spend more time on gen instead of trying to wake up.
- Freddy stealth? No need to do this.
I see a lot of people complain about Freddy but he's not over powered. I've played with him and find him a bit weak. He can put abit of pressure on gens but not an amazing amount.
-
Maybe if killers didn't have to go up against swf red ranks nearly every game there would be more killers and less q times.
First match of today and already rank 1 survivor in it. 2 dead 2 escape. Guess which one escaped.

Tried playing earlier on both sides, couldn't find a game for a long time so I quit and played something else. Steamcharts says this game has 50k people playing at the moment...like #########?
Tried again hours later as Killer, ten minute wait, finally get a game and it ends up being a cancerous 4-man SWF group. Here's a kicker too, I thought it was just two streamers in the same lobby since I checked ones profile and they weren't in the same game as any of their friends but they were totally in the same game because they had comms. So I guess SWF's try to hide that they're SWF's now. Started questioning myself awhile back because of that same thing since they seemed very organized as well but they pointed that out. But I guess that turned out to be a big ass lie.
Anyway, while listening in to these streaming SWF's I hear the typical things you'd expect, gen rush here, killers here, t-bagging at the exit gates. I find myself asking the same question each and every time I play against SWF's, how in the holy hell does Behavior think this is at all fun or fair for the Killer? I waited ten minutes to get a game full of SWF's on a ######### large forest map that caused the game to last less than ten minutes. So now I'm even more frustrated because I already had to wait, then deal with that, now I can wait again or wait for Survivor queue which is still long. Psh..probably just go play a different game again.
Has Behavior EVER spoken about this topic in the least bit or are they just continuing to feign ignorance and hopeful that people will just stop complaining about it eventually? This whole SWF thing has been a large cancerous tumor in this games side for a very long time.
I've had 2 games total on dbd in the last 3 days. Thurs was swf lobby and my sensitivity is that bad I couldn't hit anything 0 kills. Fri again swf lobby and again I couldn't hit anything because of the new sensitivity update so again 0 kills.
I've gone from playing nearly everyday as the killer playing game after game after game to hardly even bothering to turn it on. I can only take swf lobbies so much before it gets to the point where the game is unfair as you stated. I also could not take the t-baggin during chases, t-bagging at exit gates, pallet drop then flashed everytime ,windows used 3 times, 3 survivors stood in way of hook and so on from the swf lobbies. Most of this is because they're allowed to use comms on the game. Then the abuse on the PS4 messages because I killed one of them.
Personally I'd rather wait longer for games than to have to q against swf lobbies or lobbies that are unbalanced with ranks.

Actually i believe this would indeed balance it so its little less hard to play against SWF. I do both sides. But you can for sure notice. Lots of killers seem to not want to play anymore because you instant queue against a group two times higher rank. That can only happen because the devs are scared the wait time for them gets to long
I personally would rather wait longer in the queue for a game that's balanced. I don't want to get chucked in with swf who want the game done in 5 mins because they want to gen rush. It's making the killers not want to play that side anymore. 2 games I've had in the last 3 days.

I play both pc and ps4, i was finally happy they increased sensitivity...BUT i find that there is a dead zone on right analog stick, you kinda need no deadzone on games with high sensitivity or else its just not good or practical, for me atleast, i play Cod on 10 ( kinda of same as dbd sensitivity on max) with no deadzone and my aim is really solid, so i know its not my controller . Please remove or ADD a deadzone adjustment tool.
Since the update. I'm also having trouble with the new sensitivity. I couldn't hit anyone with a hatchet. I couldn't even hit a survivor with a basic attack. I've had 2 games in the last 3 days because the sensitivity is killing me and causing me to lose kills and games that before I would have got some kills in them.
I tried turning it down and I tried turning it up. It does not matter what I do. I can't get it right at all. Hopefully something will be done soon.
I bet the new sensitivity was good for survivors but for killers it's not.

I personally hope it does not. PC will have to much of an edge over console players.

theyre both things that punish players for doing good
as im sure youre aware survs hate noed. its not fun when you do your main objective rly well then get insta downed by a speedy boi.
same with flashlights, not fun for killers when they down someone after chasing and they get saved cause theyre stuck in an animation.
game should stop punishing people for doing their objectives
So gen rushing the game to eacape as fast as possible is players doing good? No. Sorry to say totems should be cleansed also as you move around the map. If survivors want to ignore totems then get bit later on.
Flash lights should not be removed from the game but should have a timer on when they can be used again. I hate getting hit when picking up a survivor but that's because they're probably swf group. My main concern with flashlight is getting blinded on every single pallet drop going. Should be a 1 min timer on flashlight to avoid this.

HOW I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE FUN ???
By the pic you uploaded. I can only guess because you got to play the game at least?

There has to be a balance between good matchmaking and queue times, though. Do you want to wait 20 minutes for a 'fair' match? Also, once you've played DbD enough, you come to realize that rank typically doesn't mean very much. Bad survivors and killers alike can pip.
Yes please. I would rather wait longer for a balanced game than to get stuck in red rank swf lobbies where the game is over in 5 minutes.

it's either you play with mixed rankings or you wait in queue for 30+ minutes. Take your pick
I'd rather wait 30 minutes for a game than to have a game over in 5 mins because of swf

Change it from 100% to the suggested 50% above, see if that will help.
You can ask a friend to have a Custom Match with you to test around the sensitivities. This will save you time with waiting for an answer and I personally feel it's the best option you can use. If you ask for sensitivity suggestions in the comments, than you won't really be able to figure out what sensitivity is right for you. If you test it in-game with a friend though, you can figure this out a lot faster.
Isn't their any devs note anywhere so we can compare now from before? I'd say something but the devs are banning people for writing negative posts. I think they have never heard the phrase " Don't fix something that isn't broken ".
0 friends on the game.

They did this update to help killers then ninja nerfed killers by changing sensitivity. I couldn't even hit a survivor in the games I've played since the new update.
Yesterday game 1. Couldn't hit anyone with the hatchet or even a basic attack so i turned game off for the day
today game 1. Couldn't even hit a survivor with a basic attack. That was again my last match for today.
I can't physically hit anyone now in this game. The controls are either to slow or to fast, there is no right spot anymore.

Someone please help me PS4.
Before the update I was playing 100% sensitivity on both survivor and killer and it was amazing. It was spot on.
Now the update has made it so it's absolutely shocking to even hit a survivor now.
So if before was 100% for killer, now would be 50%? 60%? 70%? 80%? sensitivity???????
What number % do I need to have my game set to so it was like playing before?
I honestly can't even hit a survivor with a basic attack. I had troubles yesterday and managed one match. Today, I managed 1 match. 2 days in a row now I can't play because of how bad the sensitivity is for me.
-
If the survivors want to gen rush and then get salty about NOED because they couldn't be bothered to take the time to get totems. Is that really the killers fault? The killer never forced you to ignore totems, you survivors decided to ignore totems on your own.

Self care. I queue solo so the team hardly heals me. If I didn't have the perk on then I'd be dead in no time.
