On the fence with this one. That means potentially you can get stunned 12 times and don't give me that ######### about don't tunnel. I have been hit with DS hundred times because I hooked another survivor, Seen someone with BBQ, downed them, Ds stunned. Plus I get a lot of trials where survivors are the same skin. I guess I would be ok with the change but it can't still be 60 seconds if so.
We've all been hit with DS when not tunnelling but especially with how DS works now there's no way someone would be getting dstriked over and over in that way unless they were going out of their way to rehook the unhooked person
Also I think it would 8 times max? Assuming every survivor has it. Still seems very unlikely to happen

DS should deactivate EGC.
In exchange it should activate every hook state.
I like that idea. In practice though I think a load of people would freak out because you're nerfing DS again, and another load do the same because you're buffing DS again
-
Your example:
Survivor A : 976
Survivor B: 1100
Survior C: 734
Survivor D: 1490
Killer: 1075
Still sounds a lot better than survivors with 3000 hours and killer who got the game yesterday
-
I have 30-40 ping cabled and I never have survivors complain about getting bs hits. They did a lot when I was on wifi which is the main reason I switched to the cable. If the pallet validation on tomorrow's patch somehow works then vpning and wifi will hopefully be less attractive.
-
It doesn't come right away. I didn't get a single rush hit in my first game. 2nd game just when I was just about to get my first one the Jake dead harded, I may have let out an angry shriek.
Very fun killer but you often feel like you're fighting the map as much as the survivors
-
Tony what is it about making survivors bleed out that fascinates you so much?
-
Yeah I switched to pc from console and didn't instantly become better somehow apart from less performance issues. And I've seen plenty of self-carers, urban evaders, dcing on first down, farming off hook without BT, chasing one survivor for five gens, etc etc all on pc. The pc master race thing was a joke that got out of hand, that someone switches crossplay off and subjects themselves to 60+ minute queue times for no reason demonstrates it well.
-
I would put plague higher if you aren't using corrupt often.
-
They'll probably wait and see how the series turns out. Also the licence holders would probably prefer that one be used
-
Committing to a long chase that isn't going anywhere is a sign of a newer killer yeah
-
I could probably pull off plague if I shaved
-
Use spies
-
Did I miss something? Where/when did they mention this?
-
So OP, how do you feel about counterforce becoming meta and the end of hex perks as we know them a month onwards?
-
I come over to help or avoid if I'm being chased.
Also one of my favourite combos as killer is trail of torment & dragon's grip. Look survivors, one of your teammates has better together or blast mine :) you should go join in the fun
-
Yeah I died to a trickster on haddonfield earlier where bloodwarden turned a 1k into a 4k. I could've left but I was greedy for healing points. On the bright side it was pretty hilarious.
-
Hmm probably both but I have more sympathy for you

What do you mean? I run all kinds of builds! 😋
My current one: DS, Flip-Flop, Power Struggle, and Tenacity
Others I used:
- Plunder's Instinct, Appraisal, Left Behind, and Adrenaline
- Lucky Break, Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, and Inner Strength
- Kindred, Bond, Opened Hand, and Better Together
- Solidarity, Resurgence, Botany Knowledge, and Empathy
We have some similar ones :)
"Lucky Break, Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, and Inner Strength"
This but I run red herring instead of IS and sometimes lucky break, iron will, deception, head-on
"Kindred, Bond, Opened Hand, and Better Together"
And this with a random 4th perk instead of better together, I love this one
-
Is this a response to the blight post? Neither side is particularly creative with their builds let's be honest
-
Do you prefer tea or coffee?

The bp economy will never recover from a bloodhunt immediately after an anniversary event. The way i see it, after the bloodhunt is done its gonna be ultra-rare add-on city for weeks.
Oh my god, this could end up triggering a full-blown bloodpoint recession
-
I'd prefer to see more iri addons that aren't one shots or aura reading, they aren't that interesting and the former is usually pretty obnoxious. Trickster's new one is probably going to be miserable. Iri head is still unfun to go against, it's just also unfun to use as well now. Could they really not think of anything else?

From my experience the game isn’t really that toxic. At least compared to games like OW and siege
Siege + others are full of wankers yeah, although at least the petty tribalism isn't present there. I.e. there aren't attacker and defender "mains"

Out of curiosity...how useful is light born? Does it completely prevent me from being blinded?
Just had a game with two level 5s in it (I'm still at 16) and they were using those annoying flashlights to perfection. I'm actually kinda surprised at the speed of which it was blinding me.
My hillbilly hasn't been ranked up at all so just wanna make sure it is definitely worth it before grinding to level him up.
It will stop you from being blinded and show you the aura of whoever tried to blind you for a while. It's a good perk but a lot of experienced killers disregard it because with practice avoiding flashlight saves isn't too difficult. It's great if you have multiple flashlight survivors who are determined to blind you constantly - even with lightborn keep turning away from the beam so it takes them longer to figure out you have it.
-
Not remotely no. In fact I don't see the point in discussing nerfs of any killer while she exists as she is.
He could do with some of his addons being looked at, spirit is stupid even without addons.
-
The biggest tells for me are never dropping chase, little interest in stopping generators getting done, and yeah the frosty eyes, it's a silly stereotype but pretty reliable. Also if you do all the totems and the killer DCs when the last gen gets done ofc

To all survivors who somehow get to red ranks but don't know how to play against Plague: STOP HEALING FROM THE FOUNTAINS. You are dooming your team and powering her up. Learn to play injured and not rely on 2 hits but strong chases.
Ty.
And yes, you're not the only one havin a rough night lol.
Not cleansing at all can be just as detrimental as cleansing constantly, sometimes even more. If I have four broken survivors who can't hide and my default fountain is in a good spot I can often either end the game there or hit them hard enough that they won't recover.
There's a lot of things to consider, where her default corrupted fountain(s) is/are, where her clean fountains are, how interested she is in even using her powerups, how decent she is at being an m1 killer, and obviously what your teammates are doing (unfortunately one that cleanses every time they get a speck of vom on them is out of your control, but that's solo life for you)

I've never known anyone to run Stridor, Spirits the only killer that benefits form it and I wouldn't even use it on Spirit.
I run it on nurse, it's very useful for IW users who break line of sight. Sometimes I combine it with the metal spoon so the survivors can barely hear anything over their own injured noises, that's fun too
-
I enjoy hiding near the killer when they don't know I'm around and letting out a single click. Especially good in dead dawg bushes.

How can a game be limited in other countrys? o.O
Well there's only a few games available on the Chinese version of steam but you can still access other versions of steam there. They might try and make that harder at some point, Xi Jinping isn't much of a gamer
By coincidence I saw an article today which talks about this stuff:
The long read: China’s video game market is the world’s biggest. International developers want in on it – but its rules on what is acceptable are growing increasingly harsh. Is it worth the compromise? -
Fun builds, close matches, people who are friendly afterwards whether they win or lose, non-horrible maps
-
AFAIK the Chinese version of the steam store is very limited, but there are definitely dbd players in China so I'd imagine something can be worked out
-
I thought this was gonna be an -objective- tier list, like doing gens S, saving teammates B and totems F
-
Yeah it's a good one. You can also run doc with sniper addons to zap them off the totems which will only make them more obsessed with cleansing them

I want to not exist most of the time so that advice flys by but thanks for the attempt.
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things get better for you soon.
-
I don't play dbd unless I'm in a good mood, and would generally advise doing the same.
-
He's didn't really appeal to me that much but I gave him a shot doing archive challenges for him and two games in a row he bugged out so his m2 weapon was permanently semi-raised and I could only see half my screen. So...pass

I believe they're referring to black grease, which cools down your saw when a flashlight is shining on you.
Wait they still have an addon that involves a flashlight on you? I admit I'm not that familiar with his newer ones
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
Top things his hitboxes need to be cleaned(not fun to zoom to a gen and it be fixed because you hit a branch three feet away).
Animations need to be cleaned (not fun to loose potential hits and downs because your animations basically blind you).
Add-ons need to be improved (Some of the absolute worst in the game you become 4.4, you cool down when a flashlight is on you)
Fix those things and his numbers would go up again.
Mother's helpers (the dumb flashlight one) got changed, it's faster charge after being stunned with a pallet. I actually rate that one, it's nice with enduring.
-
Hardest killer to play, no. But the ratio of effort to reward is off. I can play bubba and just hold W at survivor then press m2 to either down them or delete a god pallet. Or spend time putting effort into nurse or blight and survivors will drop like flies. Good billys can generally get looped for a good while anyway.

I run Trail of Torment, Dragon’s Grip, Make Your Choice, and BBQ. Works like a charm most matches. ToT + DG tempts players to touch the gen. If they touch it they’re exposed. If they don’t that’s 30 seconds of regression and 30 seconds + of Undetectable. If survs scream from DG or MYC I run right back to down them. So sometimes the injured persons are sent to rescue and touch the ToT gens. Which is what I want. As injured persons are downed faster, and with Blight’s speed it’s easy to cut people off and down them.
Canker and Fox Glove are his best add ons imo. Recovering quick after rushing lets you keep your eyes on them and maintain pressure without always having to land a rush attack (The game always stagger when you get into proximity of hitting, making you miss). Best part is I rush to pallets to cut them off as the recovery lets me get to swing faster. Tbh he’s my favorite killer. Way more fun than nurse, and since I’m on Console it’s much less stressful.
Eyy that's my exact blight build too just tinkerer instead of myc. I'll give myc a shot though
-
I do the opposite. I instinctively avoid dropping god pallets, end up getting downed for not using one, and then think "why tf am I trying to save pallets on meat plant, there's about a thousand of them"
As long as your teammates are doing gens you pretty much can just drop them all instantly.

cult?I think this statement is more paranoid! Is there a problem if you like a character and want him / her to be better, not worse?
If you really like dbd I believe you will spend more time on the game rather than posting on the forum, your 3000+ posts look like you are showing off.
You got me there

@Delia said:
Useless, we say more can not change those who hate Feng Min, they just want to change the face of the character more and more ugly, look more and more disgusting, there are too many such people in the forum, so the official can not hear our suggestions, can not hear the advice of people who really like Feng Min.
This is a very strange and paranoid thing to say.
I never knew Feng had her own cult.
-
Are we forgetting that Feng is a gamer? Not only should she be unattractive, her appearance should reflect her questionable personal hygiene.
-
I just want the overheat thing reversed. I'm not even interested in playing him, I barely did before, I just want to go against him again. I legit see him less than twins and hag. And uhh I would rather see him than twins or hag
-
No one should be having a go at you for playing a certain killer, you didn't design her and you aren't in charge of balancing her.
Personally I currently don't mind spirit if I have iron will and she doesn't have stridor, as it takes a few more braincells to get downs.
-
I personally like going against the new bubba (and wraith) more as it's more of a challenge but you can still usually last a while in chase unless the killer is very good or you're caught in a deadzone. I'd probably feel differently if I was a newer survivor though
-
What about if they put old Quentin's face on her now he no longer needs it.
Or give it to bubba, that'd be a look
