Bamboozle. 'Nuff said.
-
Double standards at its finest.
-
Wait. You guys still verse the Deathslinger? It's been, like, two weeks since the last time I played against one.
-
Cool. Now we wait for the nerfs killers will be receiveing to compensate for this qol change, not to mention the Hillbilly uber-nerf that nobody talks about but everyone knows it's inevitably coming.

Isn't that biased though? You are telling Killers to "git gud", while catering to Survivors that don't even know how the game works yet?
Are you really that surprised? They've been doing that since day 1 of this game.
-
Need I remind you they are the same people who nerfed to the ground the weakest killer in the game because Rank 21s couldn't be bothered to adapt?
-
Don't worry, either way he's getting curbstomped with the mid-chapter patch. :)
-
It's worth pointing out that this broken @#$% still works against """""""""stealth""""""""" killers.

Also one of the reasons listed was that they believed people were using ruin solely to secure the gatekeeper emblem
As if anyone besides the devs themselves ever even gave a damn about that pitiful excuse for a ranking system.

(DOUBLE POST)

Power gauges are stupid and completely anti-fun. Remove that and she'll be more or less fine.
-
Even better: delete it.

As someone who uses it purely for an anti-tunnel purpose, I feel like killers have themselves to blame for this one.
Part of the reason I never tunnel deliberately. If it's been 2 minutes, and you're the only one I find, too bad. You had your chance.
So killers should feel guilty about trying to accomplish their objective as fast and efficiently as possible. Nice.
-
The Nurse needs to be reverted back to her 1.0 self (3 blinks and 115% movement speed), as there was no valid reason to nerf her.
-
It is not, it has never been, and will probably never be fine for a perk like Keksisive Egostroke to be in this game.
-
@op We know.
-
Oh, so killers doing their objective as fast and efficiently as possible has zero justification. That's some entitled rank 21 survivor mentality right there.

Oh so you're just biased.
K then
I could say the same about you.

-Halloween added to the game the most game-breaking perk in the history of the game. Also, one of the maps which is most prone to being abused with specific perks thanks to its hideous design and geometry.
-Of flesh and mud added to the game the concept of removable perks.
-Left behind added to the game two of the most obnoxious and problematic perks in the history of this game.
-Spark of madness added to the game a hideous map and a completely unnecessary speed boost perk that, for a while, could be stacked with others.
-A lullaby for the dark added to the game a horrible map and a very problematic perk in terms of abusing to exploit the maps' geometry.
-Leatherface added to the game and extremely questionable map.
-A nightmare on Elm Street added to the game a map that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...).
-Saw added a shoddily designed map that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...). It also made, even if just for a while, flashlight and pallet-saves even more braindead easy to perform than they already were.
-Shattered bloodline added a hideously designed map, that is also conveniently fit for Blendettes, and a busted perk to make that other, specific, already unbelievably overpowered, perk, even more unbearable.
-Darkness among us added to the game a detestable map and several, completely unnecessary, nerfs to a category of perks that was already laughable as it was before the update.
-Demise of the fateful brought in the game yet another hideous map and a perk that renders interacting with environment potentially dangerous for a specific side.
-Ash V the evil dead added to the game two potentially problematic perks and one that was even more broken and busted than that other perk that was added with the Halloween update.
-Stranger things threw into this mess yet another horrendous map, that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...).
-Cursed legacy added two other potentially problematic perks.
-Chains of hate added to the pile yet another detestable map and three questionable perks, one of which re-adds to the game a broken element that was acknowledged as such by the developers themselves and thus removed in a previous update.

Because these things don't do anything.
Mori cancelling locks the survivor in place.
Those things can cause emotional distress in specific subjects (that's why survivors do them in the first place), so it's incorrect to say they don't do anything.

Every DLC since Myers' (barring the Clown's) has been "the worst in DBD history".

It's griefing, though.
So is teabagging, flashlight clicking and emote-taunting. Should those things be bannable?
-
Maybe you're forgetting that this is the game in which survivors have a perk that makes them immune to the killer for 60 seconds when they get unhooked.
-
Curtain call. The (then) new killer's perks were good, and the survivor's ones were not game-breaking.
-
I don't care about Biohazard 3 remake, and Doom Eternal straight up doesn't work on AMD CPUs, because Bethesda is Bethesda, yada yada...
-
As far as the game's rules go, this isn't holding the game hostage, as you're eventually going to die, be it because the bleedout gauge runs out or because the killer will eventually commit to the mori.
-
I agree. I enjoy free escapes. :∆]

If four people are escaping through the hatch its not really all that early. All gens would have to be done...
The only issue I have is that a mori used early can swing the whole game to an easy win for the killer. Keys cant be used "early" they can only be used after a certain point.
...or they can be used by Urban Evading Blendettes with Left Behind who just hide in a bush all game and then get a free escape at the end.
Moris and keys are not equal. Period.
-
Keksisive Egostroke should mori the user. ;)
-
The "kILleRZ gEt MoRE bLuoUDpoIntZ iTz NoT fAiR!!1!!!" survivor-meme is still around, I see...
-
Just like killers should be able of instantly moring every survivor they down without the use of an actual mori. ;)

They might do. It says "sacrifice" on the Gamepedia wiki, but I can't confirm either way as I haven't tried it for myself.
I unlocked my Jake mask after a match in which I moried one, so I'm pretty sure moris do count -unless it was shadow changed recently.
-
@Fibijean said:
I believe you have to sacrifice each of the four original survivors (Dwight, Meg, Claudette and Jake) 25 times each to get their respective faces. So you get the Dwight face after sacrificing 25 Dwights, the Claudette one after sacrificing 25 Claudettes, etc.
I think moris count, too.
-
Pre-nerf Legion was amazing, because you could use him/her to give survivors a taste of their own medicine. But, of course we can't have that, can we?
-
Shush! Don't give them weird ideas.

Not really. Even if you did, 3.7 seconds ain't gonna cut it.
I'm calling it: This new Hangman's Trick will be worse at its job than the old one. I think you guys took one of the weakest perks in the game and nerfed it.
Are you really that surprised? These are the same people who took the worst killers in the history of this game (Freddy, then the Legion), acknowledged that they were complete garbage, and then gutted them anyway because rank 21s couldn't be bothered to adapt to them.

What exciting gameplay changes do you think we'll see in the mid-chapter patch?
Billy either gets a 40 seconds power gauge or 110% movement speed.
Remember, y'all heard it here first.
-
Stop rage-quitting because the game didn't go the way you planned and you won't get any more bans. :)
-
But, according to survivors, killer can also pallet loop!
-
Survivors are still occasionally screaming for nerfs against her, so don't expect her to be (rightfully) reverted back to how she was any time soon.

Meh, if I am the only one surviving because I was matched with 3 potatoes, why should I pay for their mistakes?
Besides, for me it only happens rarely that I get to open one of the exit gates once EGC has begun. I guess its 1-2 out of 10 times that I actually get to open them.
How about the others?
"Should I pay for their mistakes?"
Yes. Like it or not, you are a team. You win together, you get uncorked together.
-
It's all fair game. As long as survivors do it, anyway. If killers are ever to do something like that, you can be sure the banhammer will be just around the corner.
-
They won't, because survivors, somehow, still manage to get rekt by a killer that you counter by holding Shift+W.
-
The Kekslinger is not a bad Huntress. He's a 110% movement speed M1 killer.
-
*DS should not activate at all. It should be a dead perk.

Yea that sounds fair to me, but i have to say you sound a bit buthurt about ruin change here. But if you like to play that style, go for it. Great showcase on how "weak" killers are. They can get 2-4K without doing anything but standing still 95% of the time :D
I have to mention that ruin nerf is completly meaningless if you are a good killer. Corrupt and Pop in combo are way better then old ruin ever was, even if it had lasted the whole game, which was almost never the case. Why beeing sad about a totem that got cleansed within 30 seconds? Again, use corrupt, super simple.
It showcases how laughably bad at the game most survivors are -because, let's not beat around the bush, you have to be reeeeeeeeeeeally bad to go down against a M1 killer with a big terror radius in so little time they can comfortably camp them all game and still get 2 kills.
-
No.

Doctor + aura reading upon madness tier up add-ons.

You are right, lets remove red stain. After that, give survivors 115% movement speed and a power. According to your logic, this has to happen, since it is something survivors cannot do. Sorry if that sounds sarcastic, but i am only using your logic.
Serious question: Do you guys even have played this game or are you playing the game at the current state? How can anybody even think of an idea that is as silly as this one, seriously? Next thread will be "remove killers power and all his perks" or "remove all the pallets and windows" or "remove terror radius at all".
Killers dont need a buff. Survivors dont need a buff. And especially not such gamebreaking stuff like this.
No, you're not. You're spinning my words to fit your agenda. With "It allows them to do something they shouldn't be able to do and that killers themselves cannot do" I was very clearly talking about the unfair amount of informations survivors have that has no counterpart (nor counterplay) on the killer's side.

It allows them to do something they shouldn't be able to do and that killers themselves cannot do. It needs to go. But it won't, because survivors would drown the forums in over 8000 threads complaining about it, because while they always tell killers they should "git gud" and "adapt", they are incapable of adapting to new mechanics themselves.
