It's locked at 60 on next gen I believe, and my Xbox1 often went into the teens in the middle room of Lery's
How about Ps5 and Series X?
-
You're right but since OP is talking about DLSS they're talking about Pc. Also doesn't the game run at 120 on current gen consoles?
-
You can uncap fps in the game files. You can also tweak texture qualities.
-
It could be your controllers left stick sensor. Maybe its worn and won't register 100% movement always.
-
I wouldn't hate him so much if only the sweatiest players in DBDs history wouldn't play him.
-
I think this change will only hurt solo survivors, they won't always be able to hear the scream but the killer still always gets a visual notification.
-
Gens already take 10 seconds longer than what they used to. Definitely no need to make doing gens more boring.
-
That was almost 2 and a half years ago? Damn.
-
1-2 minutes is a stretch. And DH actually has counters. However I do agree its probably a bit too strong and overused. I prefer SB because no matter what it always grants me value. Dead Hard can be a hit or miss perk.
-
Flashlight saves are extremely easy now, its probably the reason.

If you are close, yes. But any killer can bait DH up close.
If you are in a scenario where you have to Shred, you can’t bait it most times against a smart survivor.
You can fake the shred, theres a possibility they either dodge or use Dead Hard. Hell when I had Demo on my other account I used shred to make distance because of how the survivors started dodging going back and forth when they thought I was about to shred.
-
@Veinslay said:
Stopped playing Demo because Dead Hard makes playing him miserable
Demos power is excellent for baiting out Dead Hard lol.
-
Easy for how good she is.

So what you're saying is:
"Killer perk nerf is fine
and survivor perk, survivor perk and survivor perk are fine too. There are no problems with these perks. What would balance the game though is nerfing killer perk. I also like the survivor perk buff it actually is useful now which brings more perk viability on the table."
Gee, I wonder which role you play.
Eruption was busted and had no counter. DH is very strong, but at least it has counterplay.
-
Its not the games fault. How well can you loop? Do you mindgame every loop as killer? Do you leave chase if its taking too long? Leave the hook to pressure gens?
-
Solo que is in an alright state. Player skill level just varies too much. Best you can do is keep playing and hope for good teammates.
-
Could you please elaborate to how you think DH was buffed? The timing is harder now. And it doesnt give you distance.
-
The best facecamper in the game. + It could be for the memes.
-
I think a few years back, the chase music volume was a lot lower, at least for killers. I remember when I started to play the game you could hear the footsteps clear as day. Now the music is a lot louder, and its harder to hear survivor noises, however I can definitely still hear them personally.
-
In the update notes they said the fixed Whispers so it works "as intended"

Whine, whine, whine.

if you are playing in maps like the borgo, garden of joy, the game, the swamp and haddonfield yes (they have REALLY strong pallet loadouts, god loops or both... you can easily keep busy a normal killer for 5 gens here)
Yes. In theory. Are most survivor players good loopers? Or better yet, are most killers "normal" (average) killers who will just follow you and won't try to mindgame or moonwalk at loops whatsoever? Most players at top MMR can't loop for ######### in my experience.

@Sometimes_Sage said:
Anyone who thinks that Eruption should be nerfed without the meta surrounding it being adressed at the same time, or that Eruption's required adaptation from players is oppressive but Dead Hard's isn't, doesn't want balance but superiority.
I dont get you. Old Dead hard was definitely op, it was dealt with. Sure, still one of the best and most used survivor perks in the game. But easier to deal with since there's no speed boost. Eruption grants you free pressure with no downside. Playing with players who can't loop will make doing gens extemely slow.
And unlike some of you say, there is no real counter to Eruption. You can not guess when another player is about to go down.
-
Probs just inexperienced players tbh. As the game grows in popularity, the average skill level will lower.
-
Not going to lie, I kind of preferred the old animations. You could nod, and move your head up/down while crouching, walking, and running. Since they changed the animations the characters head only moves up and down when you're standing still.

At least a Nurse is more likely to engage in chase, as she has the best map pressure and travel. I can't see too many employing the old hit, kick, and leave.
Billy, Blight, Demo, Wesker have better map mobility than Nurse.

Oh sorry, I got my absurdly over complained about perks mixed up. Let me fix.
Monkey see chase. Monkey see injury. Monkey let go gen. Injury man fall down. Monkey get back on gen.
There.
Ok? And how exactly do you plan to guess if the chase is going to last 10 seconds, or 2 minutes?
-
@Tostapane said:
imagine complaining about a average perk who works only if survivors are bad at looping/hiding from the killer and the killer wasted time kicking a gen instead of being in a chase... seriously with all the perks that killer can use i don't understand all this hatred toward eruption... overrated perk imo
You shouldnt be punished for doing the objective because of other players that go down. I'd say most of the survivor players are not very good at looping, at least in my experience. The ones doing the objective shouldn't suffer because of that. I can tell this perk was created in the first place to help create pressure. But it's a little overkill when you're playing soloq with unexperienced loopers.

@xfireturtlex said:
Just throwin this out there. Using Empathy and being good at reading chases can hard counter the annoying part of Eruption. I rarely get hit with Incap. Let go when they're bout to go down. Tap gen right after explosion.
Even with Empathy theres no way for you to know when a survivor is about to go down, because you dont know what the killer is doing. Also I prefer Bond to Empathy.

Hard disagree, starstruck+agitation may be bs, but if the nurse failed her blinks the combo lost effectiveness, now nurse players can change those perks for slowdown, making it so there is less skilled required to play nurse as all the perks you used for basic attacks will be replaced with slowdown, and you will have more time in the match in case you miss blinks, your mistakes won't get punished as hard as before.
I understand what you mean. Nurse can't use Sloppy anymore though, so theres that. Eruption is going to be extremely obnoxious on Nurse though.

1 step should only be made per time, they will see the stats, feedback for further change.
Though Icons will not help Solo against Eruption for sure, but focus with what you get currently, not what you dont get.
I agree with you. The icon changes will help soloq a lot. I dont think its going to make Eruption balanced however.
-
@dollidahlia said:
I swear. Survivors will complain about anything and everything if the killer is even able to move lol
I play survivor and killer 50/50. Must have almost 3k hours by now. Eruption is in no way acceptable. And about Nurse, if anything I've been defending her in fear of the devs completely ruining her, but this way players will have to use their skill with her, not Starstruck + Agitation.

Body blocking on the unhook encourages me to tunnel. Thats really the only thing that does it.
Why wont you just go for the person that you hit when they body blocked you?

Luckly it doesn't take skill to outplay him either, just hold W away to the next loop.
Unless the loop is too small for that, and you have no choice but to take a hit.

I like how her power is still the same. I agree with these changes. If Starstruck doesnt work on her anymore, its perfect.

don't think pwyf is gonna stop people from jumping in lockers and just doing gens in your face but go off.
If you're playing Myers, have the Tombstone, and Play with your food tier 3, anyone that hops in a locker or does gens in your face does you a favor, if you're trying to win the game.

i heavily disagree on tombstone, it's simply way too slow and can be very easily countered when survivors realize that you have it.
Play with your food?
-
Moonwalk as killer. I do it in every single loop, whenever I can. A good or a bad survivor, most of the times it helps. Often when Im looping shack, I pretend to go one way (the same way the survivor seems to go), and then, when the survivor sees this the survivor might change direction, I moonwalk and vault the window. Works pretty often actually.
-
The fact that 3-gens are possible, is brilliant. It actually requires survivors to strategize a little, and not just hop on the first gen they see.

Nurse isn't that hard to learn once you get the muscle memory down. That muscle memory is what takes folks longer or shorter to learn her.....now it's not 3 days like they said but again it doesn't take that long.
Billy takes the most skills to use his power effectively. His power has much more issues when a player makes a mistake. (Play Oni to get down Billy's dash since Oni dosnt cancel out his power when he clips a object)
Blight takes a little more skill to learn how to do his charge and bounce where you want to. Again a Blight is punished more when they make a mistake.
Those two Killers alone take more time and skills to master their power.
I've got to say I disagree. The only way Billy could require more skill to play than Nurse, is if you're talking about learning to curve effectively, that is a very impressive skill that I still struggle with.
I've never had any problems with Blight, I dont see why some people are saying he is hard. Yes he has a high skill cap (Hugging things that dont give you collision in a very steep angle), but not comparable to Nurse IMO.
Nurse is extremely easy against bad players, who dont look behind them, and just run straight. But once you get to play with good players its a whole different story. A good player will make you guess their location as often as possible. You might get lucky. Skill could help, or not. Hearing is extemely important. But balance wise, I still think she is not overpowered. Strongest chase, her mobility isnt even close as good as it used to be.
However, certain perk combinations do need to be nerfed however, as I also believe they make her broken. Eruption is pretty self-explatanory, but also Starstruck + Agitation is extremely obnoxious with Nurse.

Really dude what are you getting at, you play Nurse for a few days and get her blink down and develop some muscle memory and you're good to ruin countless matches. Blight requires so much more mechanical skill than Nurse.
Blight requires more mechanical skill? That is definetly not true. However you are entitled to your own opinion.

All of those killers are easier than Nurse for sure.

Damn dude you always pop up to defend Nurse. You're like a flat earther.
Im like a flat earther? Dont compare me with people that have nothing but ######### come out of their mouth. Nurse is not a problem. It may seem like it when you're playing with really bad soloque teammates, but it's not the case.
-

Damn so much skill is needed to play her.
You can get good at Nurse in like 3 days.
Many killers are much more difficult to learn and yet they are much weaker.
What killers are much more difficult to learn? Im definetly interested. Huntress requires a lot of skill to master, that I can agree with. Then theres killers that require strategy. Blight, Deathslinger, sure. Billy also perhaps. But definetly easier to play than Nurse.
-
Are you always playing the same killer? Are you looping close enough to objects so you wont lose distance? Theres two main killerspeeds in the game, 4,4 m/s and 4,6 m/s. Different killers have different speeds. And Nurse, she is even slower. *Just read your post entirely Im sure you know all of this, then I cant help you.
-
Nurse does not require a nerf. Nurse requires actual skill to play well. Different playstyle to play as, and against her.
-
That makes no sense. If theres zero risk to lower your "rank" (sadly not even a rank anymore, since the game has gone to a worse direction to be more casual friendly), it would mean that everyone would eventually reach rank 1? Or whatever its called these days?
Also its very easy to get to the top "rank" anyways. How can you stress about it when it has nothing to do with the competitiveness of the game?

I find it funny a lot of people say this perk is busted on Nurse, that perk is busted on Nurse, those addons are busted on Nurse, and follow with I don't think Nurse is busted/broken. Nurse is the problem.
Nurse is not a problem at all. Nurse is one of the few killers that can consistently has a shot against good SWFs. And playing Nurse against good swfs is not always easy, you know? I know a great Nurse can be a pain in the ass to face. But I still dont think she is OP.

These were ones where I went out of my way to try to send screenshots to Xbox to get them reviewed by an actual person.
No luck, they said they didn't technically break any rules.
I get the image that ps4 is way different in this category compared to xbox then. Because I swear those people would have gotten a ban just by pressing the report button on PSN.

I figure telling someone to kill themselves is fairly against the rules. No ban.

This guy who DDoS'd me for multiple hours. No ban. Funny story about him tho. He tried to hit someone off who lived on a military base, apparently. Turns out, the military gives a ######### about that and prosecuted him. Heard through the grapevine, so take it with a grain of salt.

They kept going for flashlight saves and DC'd after I downed a guy who got unhooked with BT. I didn't even pick them up. Spammed me with invites and messages.
So as you can clearly see, there are ways to get around the system and Xbox doesn't really give a ######### about it. I think I have more but I'd actually have to look for them and I don't really feel like doing that right now.
I havent used xbox ever. Only ps4. Very recently moved to PC though. Those "offensive" messages, Im a little suprised they didnt get a ban. They seem like they're right on the verge of a ban. Admitting ddos wont get you banned I think, only "offensive" messages. That last one would definitely have gotten like a 7 days ban on PSN. Those first two Im not sure.
