I completely agree. I dont think Nurse herself is busted. But Starstruck and Agitation on her is.
-
To be fair flashlight saves are way too easy now. You dont need any skill for the right timing.

Very constructive..
I said I care about the game, if I wasnt I would have already leave it.
The game could be better dont you think ? Or is it already perfect for you ?
Oh yeah there is definetly some flaws. Thats why you give reasonable feedback, perhaps you can make a change. I hope you'll find the game fun again.

I can give you any number of screenshots that people DIDN'T get banned from.
I legitimately want to see those screenshots.

Not how it works my guy
Thats exactly how it works. Report the message they sent you. They will get a ban. Im not talking about the DBDs report system.
-
Eruption has no counter. Even old dead hard had a counter. Its a no-brainer.
-
You're seriously tired of "hateful messages on consoles"... You can't get them anymore, its 2022. If you see a message that is even mildy offensive, you report it and the sender will get a ban.
-
The key to beating fear is to not think about, ignore it, and keep doing what you think you're afraid of.
-
Did you really just say Hag is weak?
-
Only you yourself know whats fun to you. You figure out yourself ways to entertain yourself. Change your playstyle, or maybe play a different game?
-
Jeff, Ash, and Bill always sounded the funniest to me.
-
Havent played as him, but playing against him isnt exactly fun. You either leave the loop you're in or you take a hit.
-
Consoles definetly need an adjustable deadzone setting. It feels necessary in a modern videogame.
-
Maybe some new tiles? Or a new mechanic in a chase? New objects to interact with that could help you/not help you if you make a mistake in a chase? How about a plank or something like that for the survivors to carry, and to either smack or throw it at a killer to stun them, and also maybe make it so the killer has to swing or dodge to counter the "plank"? Or a new movement mechanic?
-Definetly revert the recent flashlight save buff. (Saves are super easy now)
-Revert Billy rework. Maybe change him somehow so he can't just camp as effectively. (Good Billy curvers were some of the most skilled players in the game)
-Make every killer able to sabotage the gen somehow. Lets say, some part of the gen disappears, or the killer hides it him/herself. Then the survs have to go look for it to be able to do the sabotaged gen again. And/or make the survivors be able to find items to reward them with faster gen speed/more progression. (Depending on how these changes would affect game balance)
-Make killers lose bp for facecamping. Facecamping requires no skill, but you shouldn't have to nerf killers completely because some players camp, maybe just a mechanic that prevents it.
-
Every update for a long time they've done, the changes to the game. They wanted to make the game more casual-friendly, not the opposite.
(Not the right call imo)
-
Fov slider is a pretty dream. For both killers and survs.
-
When Billy got reworked he wasn't even close as fun to play anymore. Skybilly was probably the most fun thing that this game has ever had.
Also before his rework you had much more power over the survivors. You felt like a threat. Now his basekit is much worse, and his addons are really bad.
-
Why do you camp with Nurse?
-
They didn't want Billy players to have fun anymore.

Where have you been? Nurse was the undisputed queen of the meta long before Starstruck was a thing. She received all of the exact same complaints that she does now.
The problem isn't perks, the problem is Nurse. It's always been Nurse, and it will continue to be Nurse until the day she finally, finally gets the rework she should have received years ago.
Nurse herself is fine, she is not broken. That perk combo makes her overpowered.

Everyone here is saying the guards are weak, but Im trying to think about how do you counter them, when they can just phase through dropped pallets and windows?...
-
Yes, the cursor "sticks" for a bit.
-
Ngl I started using Dead hard after the nerf only because of the Iron will nerf. DH is probably the only exhaustion perk you can still usefully use with Iron will.
-
Sex sells. Money matters most.
-
Nurse isnt broken. Starstruck + Agitation on her is.
-
Not an exploit really. Way too easy to succeed with, yes.
-
Hyperfocus + Stake out + Prove Thyself + Fast track. Just try it.
-
They'll probably come up with a charm for that don't worry

So playing with the perks I like bad? Just because some one out there decide they are too good to be used. Does this apply to survivor to
I dont know what perks you like. But if all you use is meta builds and the best items/addons (Surv and Killer), yes you're a sweat.

Never. Hopefully never, the time when sbmm was "working", that time was one of the most stressful and unfun times ever on dbd, they lost thousands of players, no one wants to play comp games every match. Be careful on what u are asking for.
So you would rather go against players that are either way worse than you or way better than you?
-
The best version of the game is the current one, however I do miss how you could nod and move your head while running/walking/crouching before. It was hilarious.
-
To be honest I have no idea why people do this in DBD, doesnt make any sense to me.
-
Actual skill does not make you a tryhard. Using the most sweatiest builds does.
-
Dead hard is definetly not as strong as it was before. Still one of the top perks, yes. But it doesn't come close.
-
You dont want to deal with map offerings? Take the offering that denies them.
-
I stand by what I said. He hasn't gotten any nerfs aside from the add-ons since his rework, I believe. A good Freddy can definitely hold his ground.
-
@TheArbiter said:
Agreed Freddy is weak AF right now, he should get both, although maybe only give him like 3 dream pallets base
Freddy is far from weak.

That's not necessarily true. Like Trapper, it's better to focus on one area, especially on a large map. If your traps are too spread out, you won't always be able to teleport to them.
But yeah, you ideally want to let your traps do the damage for you. Jump in and get a hit instead of chasing people as a slow swamp grandma, unless it's really in your favor and they're in a dead zone.
Anyway. If you can plan that far ahead, try to trap the side of pallets and windows that you think survivors will jump towards - or try to chase them towards your traps that way. If you're chasing someone, you want your mud clone to show up on the other side of the vault or pallet, not the side you're on. It's not like Trapper where it doesn't matter where on the route the trap is as long as they trigger it.
Placing traps at long walls is another good spot for them, or at the length of a loop that's farthest from the pallet or window. Doorways and choke points are excellent - just make sure to orient yourself before swinging.
Fair point. Usually when I play Hag, I try to spread the traps across the whole map, unless the map is too big. And during endgame I try to focus on a specific area to guard gens.

All hail our lord and saviour Lightborn 😎
Lightborn is a very useless perk, unless you're going against people who do locker-saves.
-
I also think making the game easier for newer players is always a very bad decision. To try to make people with less skill compete better, how does that even make sense? You practice for a reason.

If you're upset about a noise that happens outside of chase then maybe you have a point. But QQ is impossible to hear over the standard chase music blaring in your ear.
Not upset. Just saying, its possible to hear when a survivor vaults or jumps into a locker.
-
Good killers dont usually go for the player that was hooked. I always at the very least try to trade before the player that's hooked goes to 2nd stage.
-
@DBDVulture said:
Your changes suck.
Killer's don't hear your noises when you use QQ. Also just to point out, the very loud breathing noises you hear as survivor those are heavily muted when you play killer.
Meg is one of the worst characters as her perks are fine. Adrenaline is strong when you know you will be alive at that point in the game. Sprint has been used for 6 years because it works just fine too. Her one "questionable" perk QQ actually can be amazing if you combine it with something like dance with me and lithe.
He is right about the "augh". You can definetly hear it as killer when a survivor uses Quick and quiet.
-
Iron will. Old iron will was my #1 perk. Its still incredibly useful.

Pretty arguably an exploit.
game is programmed so that killers can't interact with pallets when a survivor is using them (via sliding over).
Survivor purposefully slides over so when the killer tries to break the pallet his target changes and he picks up a player instead.
Everything in the code is working properly, it's just definitely not in a way that was intended. That's textbook exploit.
Not an exploit, since its 100%, and very easily at that, counterable.
