Why do people heal themself with self care EVEN IF there is one or two survivors right next to him.

It just wastes so much time. This is so common in red ranks.

That is definitely not common in the red ranks, at least not anymore lol most of the red ranks I've been matched with have been using inner strength lately (including me). That perk is so much better than self-care and it counters sloppy and thanatophobia

How long have you been playing the game? As if you're still new to the game you shouldn't be calling for nerfs, as when you're new everything seems overpowered or under powered.

When I was new I thought Adrenaline was under powered because I didn't understand how it worked.

From your post you seem to be using balance landing wrong. It sounds like you're using balance landing and running into dead zones. Exhaustion perks like balance landing are used to get to the next window or pallet, that you may not have got to without using that perk.

When you're being chased by the killer you should always have a chase route planned, rather then just running aimlessly.

On a side note I do believe balance needs a buff, but not in the way you described. I personally think old balance landing should come back, as it's currently one of the worst exhaustion perks in the game in my opinion (I use to balance all the time before it's nerf).

As long as maps such as lampkin lane and hawkins don't get reworked I can guarantee you old balance ain't coming back lmfao

Title says it all. Goes for both killers and survivors. When you win, you say gg. When you lose, you're probably dead silent. I'm sure this doesn't apply obviously...but do you often say gg?

I do, it's called being polite and helping the people that actually want to enjoy the game without getting criticized get rid of all the toxic garbage that's out there lol

Imagine a weaker effect of the perk in question that afflicts the cleansing survivor for the remainder of the match.

Or bypass that penalty by sacrificing the use of a second chance perk they have available. ie Unbreakable becomes consumed when a live totem is cleansed (excluding Haunted Grounds)

They essentially "pay" for the Hex to be removed. Removing a killer perk by offering up their own to the Entity.

There are lots of things that "could" happen, but the end goal is to place Risk on the survivor's side as well as the killer's.

    Balance.

The first one could work, but the second one in my opinion wouldn't work because it just wouldn't be fair like survivors shouldn't be forced to pay with one of their perks because of the the killer's hex perks and it's not a matter of "well that's their fault for cleansing the totem" because there are hex perks that can literally make the game abruptly end if the hex totem is not cleansed (devour and noed, I'm talking to you lol) survivors are forced to find the totem and cleanse it. But the first one could work, giving survivors some kind of cursed status effect which can stack everytime they complete a cleansing action for the remainder of the trial would be nice

  • @SpaceCoconut said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1030624#Comment_1030624

Yes, but don't forget that I'd like some Risk to be placed on the cleansing survivor's shoulders at the same time.

    Risks like what though?

  • @SpaceCoconut said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1030586#Comment_1030586

Devour Hope could be reduced to it's 2 token state which is near useless anyway. NoED is an outlier where you need to cleanse all 5 totems on the map in order to kill it. It's reduced effect could simply be the movement speed buff.

I'm not saying to keep the effect at 100% if it's cleansed, but just not reduced to 0.

Oh, well it's actually not a bad idea I like how that sounds. That would balance hex perks a lot I think and wouldn't make them as unfair and useless as they currently are. So basically what you're saying is make it so that hex totems just kinda like boost the perk instead of being the perk.

  • @Sleephartha said:

The strongest killers have a learning curve. Billy, nurse, spirit, Freddy... all take a lot of work to become very good. Doc seems to be tearing it up and also is easy as ######### to play.

I agree, and he is now one of the best killers in the game honestly. I never really was a fan of the old Doctor but I've been playing him a lot lately since the update and it's so satisfying when I shock a survivor right as their dropping a pallet or vaulting because then I can just go around and smack them while they're screaming and I don't need to waste time breaking pallets (unless it's a God loop or jungle gym)

  • @SpaceCoconut said:

While totem spawns are a problem, fixing it won't solve the overall problems with Hexes and Totems.

Instead, I'd like to know if the devs are or have considered placing more risk onto Survivors when cleansing a totem instead of placing all of the risk on the Killer when taking the perk.

Survivors take 0 risk when cleansing a totem and get 100% benefit by eliminating a killer perk.

Shouldn't survivors shoulder at least some of the risk of cleansing a totem further adding to the decision when finding a totem whether or not to cleanse it for fear of the consequences?

    Thoughts?

Perks like devour hope and noed would be stupidly overpowered though, however I have been thinking what if all totems were lit? You wouldn't be able to tell which ones are hex and which ones aren't, I think that if all totems were lit hex perks could last a little bit longer and force survivors to waste more time and balance the game a bit in the sense that yeah hex perks would still be able to be destroyed but survivors would have to waste time until they get the right totem. Just an idea

  • Wow, I've seen a lot of crap in the forums but this has to be the worst matchmaking I have ever seen honestly, that's really fked up.

And to answer your questions no, this is not new at all. Actually, it's been like this for a long time and they're aware of the situation but they're not doing crap about it.

  • But, he's Jesus

well this particularly situation the freddy was camping a downed survivor when the exit gates were powered, he just wanted one confirmed kill.

So you wanted him to leave and let you pick the survivor up so you could all get out? God you're so entitled dude

  • @TheLegendDyl4n1 said:

i understand why it doesn't, because when your in the dream world you hear a lullaby, but it's unethical since it allows them to face camp a survivor and get away with it since i cant use my borrowed time unless i get really lucky. i feel they should change it to say terror radius or lullaby, or maybe even to in a certain radius of the killer to stop insidious campers, or stealth killers that camp. i mean when freddy came out they changed adrenaline to make it to where it wakes you up. they have made multiple changes for balance. i mean there's nothing wrong with trying it out in the PTB or seeing if it would help the game. i just find it annoying when i play survivor and use borrowed time to help against tunneling, and the killer gets away with it because they use insidious, have a stealth ability (pig or the shape), or even play freddy and hit you into the dream world, effectively making borrowed time useless. i usually play solo, only playing swf once in a blue moon, and cant really communicate with the other survivors trying to ask them to take a hit so i can get the borrowed time off.

If you want borrowed time to work differently against Freddy then so should object of obsession, with that perk you're immune to Freddy literally and it's really unfair. He can't mind game the survivor or make them fall for his snares or dream pallets

What if DS had two activations, BUT instead of being one minute no matter what, they make it so that if a killer hooks or downs a survivor (im not sure which is more fair) DS turns off instantly.

By doing this, it is even better to stop tunneling, but also makes survivors who were unhooked also not instantly go for some crazy altruisic play because they can afford it, thus improving both sides

Im not saying this is a good or bad fix i just want to see the general reception to this

You probably didn't realize this but that would make insidious camping Bubba invincible basically

DS is fine the way it currently is, besides they already nerfed MoM to the ground they can't nerf the last second chance perk survivors have, at least I hope not. DS has already gone through 3 or 4 reworks since it was introduced enough is enough lol

Bhvr dosen't like you but oh well, you did an excellent job.

    On a serious note...

Why rework 5, 6? Survivor perks and only one killer perk? Do killer perks don't matter? Monstures shrine don't matter?

    Thrill of the hunt?

    Whispers?

    Thrilling tremors?

    Dying light?

    Insidious?!

    Shadowborn?

    Lightborn?

    BEAST OF PRAY?!

etc etc a whole list of them

You couldn't do 3 survivor perks and 3 killer perks?

And why tell us "Oh killer players need to start using different perks"(is basically what you said) when survivor do the same with adrenaline, dead hard, just the usual survivor meta perks. Yeah yeah, stop the killer meta perks and keep the survivor meta perks.

And you couldn't make it more obvious at the beginning that you guys just want money with the "if you want to get theses challenges just buy the character.......w-we have them on sale!" Hmm I remember you guys saying the archives are meant for casual players, but the rift grind and having to buy certain characters JUST TO DO CHALLENGES, seem to say otherwise. Like instead taking the opportunity to make more money by the archives because you perfectly timed to have your dlcs on sale and so you can monetized, actually do something better and help players who can't do it because they don't have some of the DLCs and don't want to waste money on a character that they won't like later on.

You want to continue cratering to the low rank survivors or new players and rob them of their money? Then I would change how we can do the archives, cause the way you guys have it really not for "casual players" and new players will be turned away from it.

Anyways, good job Space coconut, doing us the truth.

Lol hilarious how you use the video of an entitled salty killer main to try to prove a point

I totally didn't see your unedited comment. But both people aren't completely wrong. I guess it could be based off opinion at this point

I misspelled a word lol jk just forget it, I misunderstood another comment

And no, I'm not wrong buddy go check some killer gameplay from 2016 and you'll see why survivors had to be nerfed more than killers. There where literally spots in certain maps where the killer couldn't catch you and the entity didn't block those spots either so you were pretty much forced to give up on survivors as the killer...

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

"So since killers are getting ran into the ground with every nerf, what's gonna happen now?"

And forgets the tons of Buffs Killers received and all the Nerfs Survivors got...

To be fair, survivors needed more nerfs than killers, like honestly they used to be stupidly strong back in the day with the infinites and the pallets around almost every damn corner...

  • @RaSavage42 said:

What if skillchecks were effected by what status the survivor is in

Exhausted: no great skillchecks zone will appear until recovered

Hindered: causes smaller great skillcheck zones until recovered

Hemorrhage: skillchecks would appear red (like with ruin)

    Blindness: face difficult skillchecks

Mangled: great skillcheck zone will appear in the middle of the skillchecks

Broken: great skillcheck zone would be "broken" into two one on the top and one on the bottom of the skillcheck

If multiple status effects did occur then the skillcheck will be randomized until recovered or healed off

This has got to be one of the best ideas I've read in the forums this week, it's a really good idea honestly I like it a lot. Skill checks being affected by status effects would be great!

Then I have been called '#########' by the red colored guy and he said he reported me. I mean, I just started to play this killer, I don't even have proper perks, I didn't camp (maybe soft camp due to MAKE YOUR CHOICE perk). Then I looked his profile and he has 800 hours but I just only have 40 hours in this game. This people makes no sense and I am so frustrated about this. I experience this quite often actually. Do you guys experience these insults too? What do you think?

Yeah that's just a normal day in dead by daylight nothing to worry about bud, you killed 3 of them with two perks and no add ons so you can be proud of yourself don't pay attention to the salty crybabies lol

  • @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

Wow,so aggressive. I don't lie to myself it's an awesome combo. It's unlimited discordance. Since they don't look at ruin most of the times, ruin lasts, at least till midgame.

I'm not aggressive lol but it is useless honestly, no hex perk really lasts til mid game🤣also why would I waste two perk slots when I can get the same value from just one perk: discordance

  • @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

Probably the best combo tbh. Do you use it? Let me know below.

It's not a good combo stop lying to yourself lol ruin still gets cleansed in the first 30 seconds almost every game it's useless

  • @Todgeweiht said:

    Even haunted grounds?

Well, many killers relied on ruin for the simple fact it was there, it helped in some sort of way even if it only lasted 15 seconds, it wasted some of the survivors time, especially bad ones that cant hit great skill checks and spend 10 minutes searching for the totem.

Yeah even haunted grounds, a lot of killers already have insta down abilities and if you actually do get value from it you might get one or two hooks but then it's useless for the remainder of the match and I'm left feeling like I've wasted a perk slot but maybe that's just me.

And I honestly still don't understand how 15 seconds could save a killer from losing a game, if you go up against really good survivors even a minute won't be enough time for a killer to come back from a game that's almost lost and if the survivors are potatoes and can't hit the skill checks or find the totem then you don't even need ruin cause the game would already be lost for the survivors with or without ruin, potatoes don't even know how to loop properly and waste the killer's time. Ruin was pretty much useless against good survivors and it didn't affect them at all and then, killers didn't really need it against bad survivors because them being bad at the game was already enough for the killer to win that's what I'm saying.

  • @Some_Dood64 said:

Legion main here. Is killer really that bad? I mean, sure, Ruin nerf and all, but it isn't the end of the world. Gens can go by fast in certain situations, but most survivors won't touch them if you can keep pressure on the gens, and not the tea bagging Dwight that chases you for an eternity. Not that I'm calling anyone bad at the game, but this is a bit out of hand. People are uninstalling because of one perk.

All I can really say is: don't give up on the game. Just understand that a few chases might need to be dropped for the sake of gens, and keep in mind that there will always be that one match of no kills. That won't be every game. Sometimes you'll get a game done before you know it.

Anyone against what I'm saying? I'll be happy to debate.

This is exactly what I've been saying for the past week, totally agree with you buddy, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose period. I don't understand why some killer mains are so mad

  • @NullSp3c said:

But then, survivors can run from loop to loop and constantly drop pallets and theres nothing that a killer can do to stop it.

Gens go so fast that survivors simply run away in a straight line, drop pallets, and go from loop to loop without caring at all about looping, mindgaming, etc.

This to me seems a big problem and when you play as killer it feels so bad that a single survivor can do this for an entire game.

Yes, I pressure gens, and Yes i do give up on chases to go and pressure people. But this makes winning as 70% of the killers pretty much impossible. I also choose which pallets to break (the safe/god ones). Even with all this in mind, there is no way that a killer cna protect 5 gens from 4 survivors. They will escape, or they mess up by being too greedy or too altruistic. They don't even need to be greedy in chases because all they need to do is run and drop pallets.

Playing as a survivor this is what i've been doing lately and oh man if it doesn't simple my games A LOT. Just press Shift and your good to go.

Any survivor can do what he wants for as long as there is no early game tool that killers can use besides playing hillbilly, nurse (pls give her QoL changes), spirit and maybe some stealthy killers like ghostface. Even those really struggle to win because of the issue that i mentioned.

I can't be the only one seeing this.

So you're telling us that a perk that usually got cleansed in the first minute of the match is the reason you no longer win any killer games? I'm sorry it's just hard to believe buddy, I do suggest you use corrupt intervention though that perk is so much better than both old ruin and new ruin

  • @MegHasCuteFeet said:

    In 3 months of course.

You do realize that when they say they're going to look into them it doesn't mean they're getting nerfed right? Probably just a rework which in the case of DS is pretty much useless considering how many times it's been changed and they can't seem to make it work (according to killer mains that is)

  • @KillerMonkey236 said:

Dev's this whole "ruin change is better" is nonsense. I keep losing pips, I'm not red rank anymore and I'm sweating for 1 measly kill a game. I cant be everywhere at once. I'm not just gonna leave a chase to go find other people.

How bout this, ruins annoying to go against, so are infinites how bout you fix the maps instead of killing killers fun. I keep getting gen rushed no matter what build I do. I keep trying to have fun but I can't...not anymore. You've gone to far and changed to much from the game I love, the game I play every day, the game I have 1k hours in... I just dont see myself having fun unless I'm going against the killer. At least then I'll be on the side you actually care about.

I play both sides and both sides are just toxic everywhere now everywhere I see a camping bubba or just a game ago had 4 toolboxes.

It's not fun anymore. Just please take the killers side on one thing and change it back.

So you're telling us that a perk that was usually destroyed in the first minute of the match is the reason you're not a red rank anymore? I'm sorry but you've clearly never been in the red ranks, using ruin in the red ranks was basically wasting a perk slot

  • @Hoodied said:

Yes, ruin did get nerfed, but this is on a seperate reason

Now killers will be queued right at the proper ranks, so now if you are a casual player you won't get sent into the red ranks because you wanted to use a perk to just have fun without not being able to

And, if its true, I seen a post talking about DS being changed, this will make the game more casual friendly

    Thanks guys!

I doubt DS will get nerfed, it's been changed so many times already and it currently is in a good spot in my opinion

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

Baby survivors no like ruin. Ruin gets nerfed.

Baby killers no like DS or BT. Where are their nerfs?

I mean BT was already nerfed a year ago, old BT used to give both the person getting unhooked and the person unhooking the endurance status effect lol it was hilarious because even leatherface couldn't camp survivors

  • @Advorsus said:

Devs, please... Either pinhead, or Laura from the evil within. I'd be so happy :D

Laura would be a tricky one but if they managed to get her into the game I'd be fking terrified, she's so creepy :0 but yeah I'd love to see an Evil Within chapter on dbd it'd be awesome

  • @RayrafLPP said:

    Look,

I dont want it to be nerfed, it should be a useful anti tunnel perk, but the way it works atm is just unbalanced.

Scenario: I hook Survivor A, turn arround and spot survivor B. Surv B loops a pallet and gets eventually hit. He runs to survivor A and unhooks. The time i arrive at the hook I want to punish survivor B for doing this unsafe save, but survivor A who should get out of there just bodyblocks me until i hit him. This gives survivor B an easy time to get away. And Survivor A doesnt stop there, no he goes for another body block because he has DS active.

So this is how these Perks are played in Red ranks especially.

My Idea: Give the unhooked survivor a 10 second invulnerabillity and a speed boost after being unhooked (like the one you would get if you were hit) no joke add them doing no sounds and let them leave no scratch mark/blood. I dont care as long as it cant be used to bully the killer without any kind of outplay.

Thats just an Idea, but i really think the way it is now its just too abusable. Any other Idea to buff the anti tunnel aspect while nefing the agressive usage welcome.

Body blocking with borrowed time only works if you allow it to work, all you literally have to do is be patient and not hit the guy that has the endurance status effect or just wait it out and slug him. It's not complicated honestly, it's just a matter of being patient and knowing when to M1 so that you hit your actual target and not the guy that just got saved.

  • @JarMa13 said:

I'm a killer main but play survivor with a group. We are all red rank 1 survivors or have been at some time, so there isn't anyone better than any of us. We're all as good as it gets, as many players are.

None of us escaped a single match tonight and that has become a very common occurrence. In fact, of the last 10 times we have played, I'd say we have escaped maybe 2 or 3 matches out of the last 10 days of playing.

    It's extremely rare.

And we are in party, coordinated, and as good as it gets, so I can't imagine where these killers are that think the game is hard.

I am a killer main and there are a number of killers I cannot use because they're so OP I feel guilty.

Michael, Freddy, Leatherface, Trapper, Oni. In all fairness hillbilly is op, too but I enjoyhim so much that I play him anyway.

As a killer, I see just how OP the killers are and I can't understand why killers complain. Of my group, we are all killer mains who only play survivor together and we unanimously agree the game is waaay too easy for killers and waaay too hard for survivors.

Almost very game we play as killer or survivor is 4k, so where are these killers who are having such a hard time? As much as I despite the phrase "git gud", with as much as the game gives killers advantage, I can't help but think if you're having a hard time, you need to work at it.

And when a new killer is released, it should take you AT LEAST a solid week of daily playing to get a 4k. The Oni was 4ks on his first day.

What happened to working? Practicing. Try watching games as survivor after you die.

We wish we could get paired up with these killers who have trouble but all we get is 4k killers. Usually toxic and the devs enable it and do nothing to prevent it.

Kill all 4 survivors in the basement in one round. Gee, that's not going to inspire camping.

I love this game, but it is bittersweet.

It comes with such anger and frustration. The injustice of already OP killers resorting to exploits, shady tactics, and unsportsmanlike behavior is a constant strain.

This game has actually profoundly hurt my perception of humanity. Granted it's all happening during MAGA days and Trump's horde of bigots, but all I see every day is how selfish the average human is.

    No respect for others

    No consideration

    Just selfishness.

    It's dark.

I have noticed I'm not as happy when I play this.

And I love it so I really wish the devs would discourage that bullshit.

    It's an epidemic.

When a group of redrank 1 survivors play for hours without anyone escaping and it goes on for days... There's something wrong.

What I don't get is why our experience is all the same as eachother but so different than you.

Leatherface? op? You must be insidious camping if you think he's op lol

I made a post yesterday that the ruin change has ruined the game. I got some feedback and would like to make some clarifications.

When I made the post I had just been utterly annihilated by Rank 1 SWF. So there was a little bias. My issues are mostly targeted at SWF. The ruin change, although bad, isn't horrible against solo survivors. It's the SWF that get rushes me out of existence that is "irritating", as the devs say now. I am hoping this is the first stage of rebalancing SWF with the rest of the players. If this isn't, I can't imagine this being a good change. All I had last post were people saying I suck because I couldn't handle the change. Am I crazy? This is again, directed at SWF rank 1's, which I seem to always go against. What do you guys think?

I've gone against many SWFs in the red ranks as well and honestly I usually get at least two kills or one worst case scenario, I never relied on ruin so I don't know about you bud but you must be doing something wrong if you can't get at least one or two kills. Perhaps you're committing too much to the chases or you're not applying enough pressure by injuring people.

  • @johnmwarner said:

My on my, this monkey see monkey do culture has all kinds of people doing the cool, new hook tech crouch. Great idea, give the killer a chance to tie up two players by literally standing in place. Even better is when people do it against the Doctor, yep they just sat there and ate shock after shock.

I guess I should thank them, apparently the Doctor was so annoyed he face camped them too and let me and the other guy who were actually doing gens time to finish and leave.

I mean if the survivor doing it has borrowed time it can be a really good endgame strategy for survivors believe it or not. However there is a way to counter it lol instead of aiming at the person you just aim literally at the hook's base and you'll get the hit on the person doing it. Low rank killers get bullied a lot with the hook tech though🤣

  • @Arbmos1998 said:

Since the latest patch i've been trying out Doc as well as other killers just for rotational reasons and unfortunately it has gotten to the point where i have resorted to slugging. Do the devs actually realise that because Ruin is gone and gens remain untouched that it has drastically impacted the game negatively? All killers simply do not have enough time to "Apply Pressure" when survivors are optimal on gens.

Mother's Dwelling for example, good luck applying pressure on that map, heck even setting up killers like Hag and Trapper by default received a shadow nerf because now they have even less time to place traps around.

With Ruin nerfed lets be honest Toolboxes probably should not even be in the game now because of how much they are going to break the game *Just run Franklins* yeah thats all well and good but you still have to find them and even if you hit them they can just go and pick it up again.

I've started running Infectious Fright, Deerstalker, Knockout and Monitor and i can honestly say it is not a fun play style for both sides. I like chases and outplaying people that is why i play online games i am a competitive person. Slugging completely negates this whole purpose because it negates all skill required but i have to use it if i want a chance at winning or even getting a draw.

Every game during the end chat i start off with "Did you have fun?" what do you think i get as responses?

"bad killer!" "you should learn how to actually play!" "wow you are a garbage person people like you are why this game is dying" and even statements like "no honestly i got very bored and didn't have fun"

Devs please understand that in the high ranks heck even potentially the low ranks because of how easy gens are now if you do not change anything more and more killers are going to play unfun and that will cause more people to uninstall and move on to another game. I'ts the harsh truth but they need to see this before it is too late.

I'm a rank 3 killer and I win 7 out of 10 matches everyday without slugging once, I have no idea what you're talking about bud. In the red ranks, ruin still wasn't that good of a perk because in most matches survivors would find it in the first minute of the game and that was it. If you want a good perk that can slow down early game then run corrupt intervention.

Also, if you can't apply pressure by keeping people injured then you're definitely not a good killer. Applying pressure doesn't mean you have to leave people on the floor, applying pressure means injuring people and keeping them off gens. Sorry to tell you that but that's how it is mate lol

  • DH is already a trash perk and it's bugged though🤣

Also, if you don't tunnel why does DS affect you so much you want it to get nerfed? Lol

Agreed, and I will be doing that. I just don't see how it's possible to put enough pressure on a SWF with maps like Macmillan and Autohaven, where chases are usually long, without Ruin and Pop together. I am talking about red ranks as well, where survivors are usually very coordinated.

That's why you get wrecked buddy, because you commit to the chases. You should chase a survivor for one or two pallets and then leave them alone so that you can apply pressure on the others, that way you start getting rid of pallets little by little and stop them from doing gens as well

There's no such thing as "losing because of a long chase" only dumb killers that commit to them.

I don’t wanna hear anything from survivors unless you have something positive to say. If you think this ruin change is positive to the game then I don’t respect your opinion because you’re smoking something. It’s useless now. The perk is absolutely useless. So much weaker than what it was. And even worse, I can’t use pop goes the weasel with it. Because once they get off the gens, it’s damaged. So then right when I leave, they can get right back on. I can’t use the perk til they get rid of ruin. Going against survive with friends who are ranks 1-4 is impossible. Especially on maps like autohaven and Macmillan. The amount of killers playing is about to drop baddd. My ruin is op but i get smacked in the face with borrowed, ds, etc. The only hope of winning is using a top tier killer w noed. And you can’t say “well just apply pressure”. It’s nearly impossible to apply pressure all over the map to all 4 survivors. This is insane.

So I'm a rank 3 killer and a rank 2 survivor and here's the problem. For a killer it feels good getting 3 or 4 hooks before the survivors have done any gens but if you look at it from the survivor perspective it's really frustrating, just as it is for killers to get gen rushed. Let me explain, for me hex skill checks are really easy to hit but for some other people they're not and for solo players like me having teammates that can't hit the damn hex skill checks is literally a death sentence, and when I find the totem there's probably one person on their last hook already. Now, as a killer I hate getting gen rushed by swf teams and yes it is really hard to beat them but not impossible, not if you apply pressure by literally keeping everyone injured and if they end up winning and you get 1 or 2 kills it's ok I mean you can't always win, same thing for survivors and that's what people need to understand this game wasn't made so that you win every match, you win and you lose period. And even though I think ruin is useless now, it did need to get nerfed. They definitely nerfed it way too much in my opinion but ruin did need a nerf let's face it
