Super fast hit cooldowns? Getting stunned for 5 seconds isnt exactly fast. (If you hit them twice)
Stabbing someone in Frenzy has like a STBFL tier 10 cooldown.
-
Surge + Thrilling Tremors ❤️
-
I enjoy him/her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I do tend to enjoy pretty basic ######### killers, but it's not true that Legion has nothing unique. Super fast hit cooldowns, PWYF 3 speed, survivor-speed vaults and tracking on everyone is pretty unique I'd say.
-
If you're unfamiliar with maps, sure.
You eventually won't need it at all though.

Has never happened to me. Of the few times there was another map offering, my one always won out. Boogeyman power cannot be denied.
You lucky son of a...
I've had that instance like 4 times and my map offering has literally never won lmao.

Not even good survivors spoil the fun of spooky Michael.
Spooky Michael is all good and fun until the survivors burn a map offering that beats yours.
-
Wraith.
He's a good boy, love his theme and aesthetics, and he basically has my favourite playstyle ever of quickly and quietly going from survivor to survivor and initiating chases all the time.
I love the lack of downtime he has.
-
These stats are always interesting, but everyone draws too many conclusions from them.
-
No challenges that will make the other side have a terrible time, like encouraging basement builds over and over again.
-
Like others are saying, the majority of them are unsafe.
Meaning once they are dropped (or even before) you should stay at the pallet and try to get a hit without breaking it because the loop it creates is so small.
-
They sure are impressively boring.
The browns are the best/most fun by far, faster movement speed whilst holding Shred and placing portals faster is pretty much all I care about.
Movement speed whilst in the upside down is the only other one I like.
-
The top meta perks include:
DS
Unbreakable
Dead Hard
Sprint Burst
Borrowed Time
Adrenaline
-
As survivor if I performed very well in a chase and bought my team enough time to get out, then I'll be super content with dying.
As killer? Not so sure. Just a fair game where the chases are good back and forths, and not people just humping a safe structure that you can't counterplay, and the game goes at a reasonable pace.

A rework is a completely different power...
Doc has the same power
Only difference is there is no longer going to be a passive madness increase whil in the TR.
No more switching modes.. this is an upgrade/update.
Tinkerer is another example of a rework.... it once worked with addons... it now does something completely different.. doctor does the samething essentially..
I mean, static field and static burst work in completely different ways. They apply the same thing but how they work is being... reworked :^)
Freddy still puts people to sleep, and survivors can still wake up via skillchecks, so you could argue he just got updated too.
However this is a very petty semantic argument so we should stop lmao.

Freddy is the example of a rework... this is an update..
How are they both not reworks?
One's just a bigger rework than the other.
-
crouch inside bush until found, then hold Shift + W
all other Sprint Burst strats are irrelevant
-
I mean in one way I agree and know what you mean, but in another it'd feel reeeeally sucky to get mori'd out of nowhere on your 2nd down and be like '...oh'.
It's nice to be able to play around them at least somewhat.
There just need to be more secret offerings that people wanna use, as well as (imo) nerfing moris.

Nah man, I love going against Plagues and Hags. Adds variety from the typical meta. Hell, I'll even cleanse because that makes it more fun.

What baffles me is that this doesn't even sound bad on paper.
Lmao ikr. Static blast sounds so much more useful.
Static field helps you find find people for the first tier of madness, then it's pretty much garbage the rest of the round.

You are actually so right.
I'm so hyped for more unique chase music.

I don't really consider any killer in the game to not be viable.
Legion's not as bad as everyone says.

They have a point. Have you ever played a large, regular TR killer against immersed Blendettes in the corn? I have and it’s the most boring thing I’ve ever had the displeasure of playing. After five minutes of running in circles around the map, finding nobody, I about lost the will to live. At least with loopers you feel like you’re actually playing a video game and not a walking simulator with no story.
No idea how popular this opinion is, but I completely agree lol.
Being looped is so much more engaging than walking around doing nothing trying to find Blendettes crouching in bushes.

u a cutie

They're usually just very bad players who do little throughout the match to help the team.

You'll end up getting more tier ups than the 60 second cd.
Regardless though, he's still weak either way, so whether or not it's better is pretty irrelevant.
I want to see changes that help him in chase or improve his ability to counter loops. Improving the tier up rate (if it is) isn't going to make him more viable. The madness just doesn't mean enough.
Don't think that's true, you're wasting a ton of time if you're repeatedly trying to get tier ups from just static field. You barely have to use any time at all to tier them up w/ static blast.
-
Maybe because he feels bad for the cute li'l newbie.

Running a tracking perk on a killer that's strength is already tracking is a bad idea. Not to mention this is comparing his previous ability to new ability + a perk. That isn't a fair comparison.
What use are you getting out of that insta-tier of madness in exchange for your better tracking? None of it is helping you in a chase. It's just being a little annoying with a "deep wounds" type effect.
How is slowly increasing madness over time better in that scenario? A 60s cooldown doesn't really matter when the effect is so, so much stronger.
-
Obviously very early buuut
first impressions are he looks really cool, I way prefer how static blast works to static field. Could be too reliant on Whispers, but apart from that it looks great to me.

for the epic win

In all seriousness though good work hopefully your still giving Oni a chance after the flick changes as well.
ty <3
I am still playing him a decent amount, he's not bad. Flick nerf just removed a lot of his flow and fun.
But hey Wraith's bugged and Oni's still new, so he'll do for now.
-
Oni's got bigger arms.

Not #1 now that's just sad! Didn't you know that only the best players are allowed to participate in the forums!? XD
I'm sorry, I've embarrassed myself for the last time
please don't look at me as I walk of shame out of here ;(

lol

I know when I'm beaten.
-
Hag.
Despise not actually chasing survivors, and instead 'preparing' for them and then mashing CTRL and hitting them when it works.
That's not even close to chasing >:I

It's a soft nerf to make him more bearable on smaller maps / 3 gen scenarios, as he will no longer be able to passively increase madness. Not having to switch modes is nice, but unless they tweak it, default shock range is abysmal.
A soft nerf in one aspect sure, but also a big buff in another. Being able to instantly increase a madness tier by 1 for anyone in your TR? That's a big buff in a lot of scenarios.
-
@Glory said:

Yes. He has regular shock, without having to swapped to a worse mode to do it. He's just getting a new shock as well, a guaranteed madness tier-up for anyone in his TR on a 60-sec CD
Oh... he seems dope then? I love that change.
-
Does he still have his normal shock ability like he did in Treatment?
