They are different killers. Their powers are different.
I don't know how else to say it.
-
Listen @Mister_Holdout is right on this one you guys should back down.
-
You shouldn't be rewarded from winning with a mori. It's not very skillful.
-
I 4k'd as Trapper the other day and depipped.
######### happens man.
-
Buried in the blizzard.
-
Depends on the SWF, they're all different. Most I face are just friends playing together, and it's exactly like a normal game.
The ones who play with OoO and play like Seal Team 6 are not enjoyable to face though, no. But they're much rarer.
-
Not enough of a sample size yet.
Probably bad like everyone else :^)

Dunno, seems like it slows me down quite a bit and makes him a little easier to control while dashing. Maybe S doesn't do anything, but W might speed you up. A mod would have to confirm though - maybe I'm just imagining things.
I think you're getting placebo'd :P
-
@Bill_I_Am__Overbeck said:
Yes, Bamboozle is a great perk to run on him since windows and vaulting spots make him easy to juke. Also try pressing S while dashing and taking a turn a little wider than normal - it doesn't take long and gives you much more control around those tight corners so you'll end up where you want to be.
Pretty certain S and W have no effect during his dash. You're just talking about strafing and turning your camera as hard as you can.
-
You have to win a normal mindgame at them usually, 'cause yeah vs someone that knows how to run it his power isn't of much use on them. Too many tight corners.
-
He feels scarier to me when not in Blood Fury lol. Just hug tight corners and use windows when he's in Fury.
-
Catch someone.
Put 10 traps around their hook.
You are now a great Hag player.

If a survivor is on death hook there is no point to using a mori. I don't know why people keep saying this. If you're on death hook I'd rather just hook you again and get more points.
Avoids DS, avoids any kind of save attempt (bodyblocking, pallet save, flashlight save) and potentially saves time if a hook's far away.
Still has its uses, but mainly it's just cool to mori someone.

but was about the blocked windows in the springwood houses?
this was changed too, as they used to not be blocked..
Have you only recently came back to the game or something? They changed that structure ages ago so that most of the windows are blocked, it's RNG which ones are open.
You might just not have seen them because they're so dark.
-
They made Badham, Haddonfield, and the Yamaoka maps too dark in the Oni update.
Maybe others too idk.
-
Too far.

Calling it "earned" does a disservice to anyone who actually kills survivors with hooks.
Lol. One of the best ways I've seen that phrased.
-
There are times when matches can be very frustrating, but honestly it's up to you to shrug it off and move on to the next game. If you can't do that you might wanna take more breaks :p
Using red moris on innocents is pretty mean (even though I get it), gotta remember you're always facing completely different people. Not their fault you had a bad game.

That's why you chase survivors near gens 🙄
Exactly. You defend the last 3 gens, as I said.
It's up to the survivor where they want to be chased. The pressure's on them to try and pressure multiple gens and keep the killer busy for long enough, and it's up to the killer to choose his chases wisely (choosing not to be baited away from gens on long chases).

The killer should always be chasing survivors
Not true. The exact way to lose in that scenario is to commit to a chase on a guy away from the gens, letting the other 2 do the last gen.

If the killer has lost momentum that badly maybe it is time for them to lose. On the other hand, I agree opening hatch during chase is op and it should be a 5-8 second channel.
It's not really the killer losing momentum if none of the survivors are doing any remaining gens. At that point the killer has control, he's just doing his 1 objective of defending gens.

To do that wouldn't they have to group up like idiots or each bring their own very hard to obtain item?
Not really? Only takes 1 key, and if the killer is defending the last 3 gens then you might not even have to go anywhere near him. Only certain killers can punish survivors grouping up too.
-
I hope for your sake you don't get in his way.

The hell mate? Keys are only really effective once the killer and survivors have done their job. Meanwhile with Moris just tunnel and get free kills, punishing survivors for saving like they're supposed to.
I don't really see 3 survivors escaping when there's still a gen to be completed as them doing their job. That's just kind of a free escape to me.
-
They seem fine to me? Haven't really felt super OP so far.

because killers dont have such a downside by any means. They are all intended to help in one way or another and this one is just almost all downside.
So you just want an equivalent perk for killers? Distressing could be seen as such. On its own it harms almost every killer in exchange for more points, unless (like No Mither) you combo it with other perks for a gimmicky build. The downside isn't as big sure, but the design is kinda the same thing.
Killers also have the 'Speed Limiter' type of addon, where it actively hinders their power in exchange for more points (see Billy, Leatherface, Trapper, Wraith, Freddy). Survivors don't have addons that hinder them.
Idk I just don't see the problem with any of these things. To me it's just like fun customisation.
-
They wouldn't do it, it kinda directly influences their income since xp basically = shards which = cosmetics that you don't have to buy with auric cells.
-
I don't understand why people aren't okay with a perk like this existing, not everything is designed to be meta.
It's super unique, and although mostly a downside, can be used for stuff like permanent Resilience/This is Not Happening, being completely unslug-able, and doing silly Sabo strats. Or just giving yourself a challenge if you want it.
Also with Dead Hard you actually become stronger vs instadown abilities.
Not a good perk, but maybe the most unique in the entire game.
-
It's the locker invincibility perk now.
-
Like you say, unless they're running in a straight line you just have to stop your dash and M1 them now because of the flick nerf. Very lame imo.
-

Imagine thinking no mither is too strong because you can't use your one shot power on a one shot survivor🤔
Is one-shotting all the power does though? Is it really?
Edit: Also I don't think anyone's saying No Mither is too strong, would just be the most boring thing ever if you couldn't get your power vs it. You think you picked the Oni but actually you just picked man with sword.
-
Both that and Ivory should be death hook only.
Some people think Ivory's fine, but I honestly don't think so. Removing 1 person from the game is incredibly strong and slows the game down tremendously. Both should be nerfed.
-
I think DBD maps in general are too badly balanced to remove bloodlust. I agree it's a bad mechanic and a total bandaid to bad map design, but man their map design is terrible (imo).
In a perfect world maps would be better balanced and bloodlust would be deleted entirely. As of right now though just gotta try and play around it, keeping in mind when it kicks in and when to force the killer to break a pallet instead of greeding another loop.
-
Can't say I really share your hatred of Badham?
But my friend, OH my friend... I can not agree with you more on Ormond. Raze that thing to the ground.
-
Leader's just so cute that it gets my pick.
A passing Dwight lets you break that totem just that little bit faster, let's you unhook him faster, and is a nice li'l buff when group healing. Can even be a better Wake Up!
It's just so CUTE.
-
What build do you use on him? Discordance is really strong on him, knowing when survivors are grouped is exactly the info Legion wants and it allows you to interrupt gens that are being done quickly.
All you gotta do is use Frenzy for as many first hits as possible, but know when to cut your losses and cancel your power and down the guy you just hit, instead of chasing someone on the edge of your terror radius.
-
I would love a mode where you can just run around in whatever map as a playground to quickly test things solo, would be great.
-
I think both of those things are worthy of nerfs, yup. Rework Iri Head into whatever, and make moris only work on death hook.
Like SpaceCoconut said too though, keys are also pretty busted.
-
Lmao it's beautiful I love it <3
-
Yeah I could have sworn I heard a Claudette say 'haha git gud baby killer' after pallet stunning me before.
-
Usually gotta get a great start and slug 2 people and snowball from there, try and get everyone off of gens.
Not always possible but that's the kind of start you need.

Her lullaby radius is 45m. If people are moving away from gens when you are 45m away that is a win, because it's really foolish to stop gen work by being in the lullaby radius. Some maps you can probably cover 4+ gens in that 50m.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/918038#Comment_918038
I don't see the point of playing pig unless you are going for RBT kills but that's just me. Ghostface is a far superior stealth killer.
Plenty of reasons to play Pig w/o going for RBT kills.
Stealth is on demand and can't be revealed by survivors, Ambush gives some more potential for hits around certain loops, and RBTs give innate gen slowdown.
-
The effect is so strong that I definitely would not buff it in this way, it's fine being a niche perk.
I'd be okay with removing the aura reveal penalty (on tier 3 I guess) and that's about it.
-
@pemberley said:
Calm Spirit is a niche perk that completely nullifies the Doctor.
No Mither SHOULD leave NO DROPS OF BLOOD. It makes way more sense than the perk making the crows quiet also countering the Doctor.
Should it though? Feels awkward either way, 'cause even though 4 No Mithers is extremely rare, it would suck to have literally no access to your power in that scenario.
-
no I have a '######### on hook' daily sorry
Edit: Oh, you can't say 'sacrifice' yourself.

Killer is more stressful. Trying to juggle four different survivors, three-hook everyone, slow down gen repair, manage my time... it's [BAD WORD]ing ridiculous. Who just came off the hook? How long have they been off the hook? There are three different Megs, which one is my 4 stack? Does this David have Dead Hard? Is this chase going too long? I just downed that guy, where'd he crawl off to? Do they know where my totem is? How much progress has been made on each of these gens? Why is there so much [BAD WORD]ing pitch black bamboo???
Solo survivor can be a miserable experience, what with the random teammates and tunneling/camping killers, but it's not stressful, just annoying. There's a difference. A lot of times as survivor there's a lull where I'm just relaxing on a gen or something.
If there's a lull as killer, it's because I can't find anyone. Usually happens when survivors refuse to touch gens for a while. And the lull isn't relaxing, it's just boring, and it's still kinda stressful because the game's at a standstill: if I'm not interacting with a survivor then I'm not progressing the game in my direction, unlike a survivor M1ing on a generator.
And getting points as a killer requires interacting with survivors, whereas survivors can still earn a bunch of points even if they never see the killer. An inexperienced killer against four really-good-at-stealthing survivors could end up with a long match during which they earn next to nothing. Barely seeing survivors during a match can be frustrating, and it's not like you can analyze it and be like "Oh, I zigged when I should've zagged," it's just that you need more experience to know what corners to search or where they might be Urban Evading; the only thing you learn from that experience is that you suck.
Lmao I can relate to the bamboo part.
-
You want to get paid for your work?
That's not very artist-like of you.
-
Now do Wraith :)
-
I'd still be fine with this even with a larger range and no injured requirement.
(Also I like the idea)
-
u rite
No perk, addon, killer or offering is needed to do fine at rank 1.
