Because Joey and Susie weren't wearing sweaters already lol
But were they ugly and Christmas themed? I don't think so my friend.
-
Not really a fair way of looking at things.
-
...no, not really.
However I do see EVERY Ghostface play the 'just stealth and M1 everyone' way with Sloppy and Nurse's.
Like I get it, but so much of his potential is missed this way. Truthfully I think people do it because it's way easier than trying to stalk with him, I think Ghostface is legitimately pretty damn hard to play really well. Gotta keep a lot in mind.
-
I would delete her and then let out an evil laugh as I twirl my villain moustache.
-
Got Susie's.
ez choice

ew
delet NOED
-
I don't know why they keep removing this.
-
Totally agree. Freddy changes were well directed.
-
Meeeeeerry Christmas Carrie!
-
I think EGC is pretty much perfect as it is.
-
Just an unpopular survivor I guess :(
I like Adam.
-
The addon was pretty silly tbf, shame they didn't buff his other red addon though.

The first makes it so you can turn faster than before, since sensitivity was a limiting factor.
The second is a hard cap so you can't do a full 180.
Basically you can turn quicker, but the furthest you can turn is a little lower than before.
A lot lower, c'mon. Be honest.
-
They made console able to do the flick... but also they removed the flick.
Lmao.

@Janick said:
The flick is gone, it was never intended in the first place.
Billy all over again
feels bad ;(

Oh no his really boring addons got nerfed.

I stand corrected. Is the Spirit bug on PC too?
Yes.
-
It's not intended no, it came with the Oni patch.
Would be nice if they fixed it quickly, seeing as it's an integral part of a killer's power :I
-
No.

This I can agree with it's just a pitty that the alternatives are still substantially weaker and the fact that gen slow down is basically mandatory against any competent team really reduces the amount of unique builds
Yeah it is absolutely the strongest slowdown perk in the game (when it lasts more than 10 seconds), I just don't like almost anything about its design anymore.
-
I believe in u
ur cute
-
I've just stopped using Ruin on anyone. It's mega boring for both sides, gives you no feedback, and is 100% unreliable.
The other gen slow-down perks are way more interactive and interesting to me, especially since they're consistent.
-
It's really not useless, but it's more of a SWF bully perk than something you can realistically use solo.

Lets not forget her Breathing.
Not enough people mention this. It's the scariest thing in Dead by Daylight.

Okay I am a relatively new player, so my judgement is probably wrong, so don't bite my head off, like I said, I'm new. But as far as my observations go:
- Billy runs across the map (almost) like Nurse, without any fatigue, drawback, nothing. Sure, he can bump into walls or not turn around too easily, but it's hardly a real downside
- Insta down - and that combined with the rush? I mean... come on, no cooldown, not fatigue, no special requirements (like stalking, collecting blood) just hold M2, aim and there you go
- That two combined? There's only so much you can do against him, you can't really 'outrun' him, he'll always get to you, if you're far away he just charge his rush and bam, he's suddenly right there
For the 100th time; I'm new to this game. So if I'm wrong tell me how the hell THAT is balanced, compared to the other killers. What is it that I don't see about him? Because, at least on paper, that's like combining Nurse's blink speed (almost) with Leatherface's insta kills and so far 99% matches against him were the most frustrating I've ever had in this game. I really rather play vs Nurse or Spirit.
As you start to get better at the game you'll realise he's strong, but is not overpowered. He has all the normal weaknesses of a killer: windows, pallets, and obstacles. It's just a matter of learning to efficiently use all of these by knowing how Billys play, and how long his chainsaw takes to charge.

Reminds me of what a caveman would use... or some tribal warrior... or two teenagers apparently!
Same thing, right?

Two out of whatever how many Maps are dark. The others are played in Daylight. So yeah, cannot be a coincidence.
Yeah but the devs always put a new map bias a while after the release of one, so it'll be what everyone's mostly playing on rn.
-
It would be cool to have more of them, I like the way they look.
-
People will overreact to any nerf in this game, no matter how small. You can rely on that.
Yeah this perk's still amazing, pretty much every exhaustion perk is.
-
I mean, Oni requires hits with a full terror radius, whilst Myers only requires vision with a 0/16m terror radius (8m with M&A).
-
Have it so that hitting a basic attack no longer reduces your power gauge by half.
Or at least have it only deplete by like 20%.
-
You're a god.

Oni has the weakest start of the game by far. THAT'S the excuse. He's at his weakest in the most important part of the entire game. If ruin goes down he's extra fricked. Now he is a killer with 0 pressure and 1 less perk. At the start he's literally a pressureless killer.
Ruin aside, that part is true. I've twice faced the strat of survivors playing very safe and using pallets early vs me as the Oni, trying to delay my initial hit as long as they can - and it's been extremely effective.
Not many teams have done it but it's easily been the strongest counter I've faced as him so far. Just delay Blood Fury as long as humanly possible.
-
Could combine it with a gen-slow perk that's actually consistent. You always need to remember that bringing Ruin is 100% unreliable.

Probably because a camping killer can kill a survivor in two minutes. Sure there are games where as killer I get gen rushed and it's over in 5 min, but there's also the games where 2 people go into the basement at the start and it's over in 30 seconds.
This is also true, there are extremes on both sides.
-
I enjoy red ranks killer a lot more than solo queue survivor, and overall I'd say I have mostly enjoyable games.
You do get the ones against really efficient survivors where it's just over in 5 mins and you're left there like 'ok, next game I guess', and those suck. But like I said I still mostly have good games.
-

I love playing against demo but i only get spirits and if im lucky huntress.. red ranks Is becoming very unfun and boring in my opinion.
You're not wrong lol. I dipped into a tiny bit of solo surv earlier at rank 2 and got 3 Spirits, and then an Iri Head Huntress.
I was like ok back to killer.
-
Hell yeah boi. He's one of my favourite killers to play right now, the amount of outplay/mindgame potential from his Shred (for both sides) is really fun and engaging to me. Even his mobility is a back and forth, and there's plenty both sides can do with it. And landing good Shreds is just really satisfying.
My build for him rn is Corrupt Intervention (for some portal set-up time), PGTW, BBQ and Enduring.

W H A T N O W

72.8 seconds
Edit: I am wrong ignore me :)
-
Yeah she's in a really awkward spot. Like they clearly knew to nerf her, but they played it safe by keeping her power almost 100% the same at base, and only addressing a couple of her minor annoyances to vs.
I have no idea how they'd change her to still be fun to play, but feel more consistent and fun to play against.
-
It does not.
-
I actually really like that, those would be awesome changes to those perks.

Let rephrase it this way:
I have my one shot power. A survivor runs to a normal loop (not a jungle gym or any loop with long walls). How do i one shot them?
I've tried flicking but I am always short. The only time you can catch them is if they are close in front of you for some reason (which is rare).
At short loops like that I don't think you should be using your Dash (usually, anyway) the corners are too tight and the charge up time is just a tiny bit too much.
For those it's much better to try and use your normal M1 Demon Strike lunge, it's much faster and more appropriate for that close range. Really you just wanna kind of face tank the pallet and get it out of the way quickly because those are a bit problematic for him (Enduring's really nice for Fury mode). Then break it with M1 and quickly start Dashing after 'em.
-
Do you mean the hit at the end of Demon Dash, or the actual M1 Demon Strike?
Which one to use just depends on what loop you're at and how the survivor is running it, but you can use both for sure.
The lunge on Demon Strike is really useful if you know exactly where the survivor's going.
-
I'm glad you got the totem and not her.
-
@X_Scott said:
How can you abuse it? You get 1 shot and it's gone, like deliverance. If anything, it should just be a built in mechanic against tunneling.
lmfao
-
I always thought Huntress's design was the least scary in DBD.

I dont usually have issues finding orbs. Theyre not clustered heavily but they are spread around easily enough to track...
Yeah but not straight after someone's been unhooked.
