Oh, well idk about that one.
They're not targeting any specific side with removing tech though, if something isn't intended and they don't like it then it's gonna be patched out. Just how it is.

Hmm, I see but they keep removing every survivor tech and dont touch the killers, they removed the window tech, now the hook tech is unintended...
But I remember someone saying that Peanits said it was intended..
The window tech is still in the game bud. And it's the strongest it's ever been, as killers now lose collision in a certain point in their vault.

Srsly? lol than they should remove the tractor tech for killers as well.
...what? I never said remove anything.
The tractor tech is one of the first techs in DBD ever that actually IS intended for once. Was in the patch notes in the Oni patch.
-
Doesn't have a safe unhook requirement, so it's not strictly worse than Deliverance.
It's definitely more of a meme perk though.
-
Definitely not intended, but it's not bannable or anything no.
-
Could live without Hag, power makes for the most boring playstyle.
And I could live without Claudette, 'cause ######### Blendettes.
-
Most buggy? What bugs does he have?
He just needs buffs, no need for a big rework on him.
-
Demogorgon's my fav to face, I think the Shred's a really good mindgame power for both sides. A lot of fun for me.
Least favourite is probably Hag, her design is the most boring thing ever and everyone uses it to camp like a champ.
-
0, so far.
I buy all the DLCs because I think they're worth the money, but ehh the cosmetics not so much.
I'm sure that'll change eventually.
-
What the #########
how have I never noticed this.
-
should be buffed it's pretty weak for survivors

r u ok

If you are downing people that fast, surge will be on it's cooldown and useless. And if they are going down that fast, it was probably going to be a won game without the perk. And it's not a "free gen kick" when you consider what perks you could have had in it's place.
If it's the last generator, and you can have an 8% regression or a 25% regression, which one would you rather have for the same down?
...I'm just gonna stop here lol. Your logic is really bizarre to me and I don't get it.

If you are within 32m of a gen, chances are you know it was being worked on either way. Unless you are on a tiny map like the game but everything is cheesy on tiny maps anyways.
This is assuming survivors stick to a gen and never let go until it's fully completed though. Ain't true at all. If you're downing people you'll be forcing them to let go of gens often to save teammates.
And if the guy you downed was the one on the gen, then hey you got a free gen kick and -8% regression if you were within 32m of it.
The fact that it can hit multiple gens is also nice.

Every perk in the game is a net profit. It is up to which 4 perks are more effective than others. You can only regress a generator with 1 perk, and pop does it significantly more.
They're 2 completely different perks though. Pop is active, and Surge is passive. Pop is really strong, but it requires you to go out of your way and find gens with decent progress to kick within a time frame, maybe giving survivors distance or requiring you to give up on chases.
Surge just does its thing and you don't have to worry about it.

For the most part yes, there is a reason killers don't kick generators at red ranks unless they have pop goes the weasel. It is a total waste of your time. It takes ~2 seconds for you to start regressing it and 0 seconds for a survivor to start repairing it again. The only time to kick a gen without pop is if you think there are literally no survivors nearby at all, which is almost never the case if a gen is being worked on.
Killers do kick gens at red ranks lol. All a gen kick needs to be worth it is to regress more than the time it took to go and kick it, and you do this by trying your best to keep track of where survivors are - weighing up if it's worth it to kick or chase. If you down a lone survivor by a gen he was working on, are you really not going to kick it before hooking him? Takes like 2 seconds. Also can be used as a tracking tool if you see a gen you've kicked isn't sparking anymore.
And yeah I don't get your logic either, Surge removes all need to go out of your way anyway. It's purely passive. Even if you despise the perk and think it's the worst thing ever, you can't argue it is nothing but a net profit for you.

The devs just want you to "get gud"
More like they want the rank 20s to get gud.
Giving them trial by fire to improve :/

When it came out, it took Ruin's spot on my Freddy. Havent gone back on that one, lol.
It's replaced Ruin on just about... every... M1 killer I play :P
Love its design.
-
I am CONSTANTLY getting this since the Oni patch.
I'm so sick of facing new players at rank 1, it's very unfair and boring.
-
People underestimate Surge, man. It's my favourite perk rn.
-
Yup, exactly what @LordGlint said.
Pretty much any killer that downs with their M1. It's definitely a cool build.
-
I think Thrilling Tremors is maybe the best perk in the game to watch over gens, and comes with the benefit of slowing down progress if they weren't touching one as you picked up. Downside is the huge cooldown though.
The Surge/Surveillance combo is probably the best gen watcher build, but that's 2 perks.

Only if they are connected to other structures. But if you instead have a jungle gym in its place connected to other structures it becomes ridiculous.
Ya for sure lol.
AKA Coldwind Farm.
-
Eh? GF is a better stealth killer.
Myers becomes more of a snowballer instead.

Most of the issue is map design. Also L and T walls are not that strong of a structure, easily mindgamed, it's a 50/50.
There have been several videos made from youtubers on what instant changes would make a majority of the maps more balanced. Many of them either need their god window removed or a doorway opened beside them.
Also a more consistent spawning of looping structures. Maps can vary heavily, like 4 T and L walls spawning isn't as strong as 4 jungle gyms. And a lot of times they can be tied into each other to loop them for the whole game.
L and T walls can be strong if they're connected close enough to other strong tiles.
-
To trap you :)
-
That's actually a really weird one, don't see ones like this too often.
Using a killer who's good with emblems, not using instadown perks, everyone got lots of points, and you got 3 kills.
Did you slug a lot and did some people get only 1-2 hooked to die?
-
Some weird killers to choose to buff, I think a lot of these are fine.
-
These are the only options?
I'd only want minor buffs at this point.
-
^What Fibi said.
All they need to do is have the notifications trigger at the same frequency for every tier, and keep the yellow highlight increases the same.
ez
-
Pretty certain it's not an exploit.
All that matters is 'does it have a counter', if not then it should be changed.
Also bring back old hook tech.
-
Killers could make the same argument about getting the trap off with only 1 box.
RNG is my least favourite part of Pig tho', and I wish her traps worked in a more consistent way.
-
Doesn't seem too problematic to me so far.
Also bring back old hook tech.
-
A David pointed at a pallet, then I proceeded to give him 4 free stuns. He was a very happy boyo post-game.
Some of us notice.
-
Remember when this game had events? :(
-
Progress is paused after you mess up a skillcheck.
I have all the time in the world to guilt-trip you bud ;)
-
shrug Subjectivity.
I'm fine if people say she's not fun to play, if she ain't fun she ain't fun. I just disagree when people say she's no longer strong.
-
I don't think so.
-
Why do people keep asking for the top meta perks to be buffed.
-
I mean... people ARE too afraid to open exits, 2 minutes (+50% if anyone's downed or hooked) is pretty generous. But still 99'ing gates is almost always optimal, at least for a while.

She is not S Tier in the slightest. If you whiff a hit and a survivor has half a brain they can literally run straight and the Nurse can't catch them ever again within reason (if the map was larger i may of not been able to ever). Me and a friend tested this in a KYF on Thompson's House. Not only that how her blink is set up now with you being able to see her before blink ends any average to above average player can dodge her quite easily and don't get me started on the people who could loop a Nurse before that rework.
While i 100% agree she needed a nerf a lot of it was her addons needed the rework. Additional blinks, OmniBlink's were Overpowered and carried a lot of Bad Nurse's. How they actually nerfed her was actually went from both a viable and fun killer on both sides (depending if you enjoyed playing against and looping her). To a semi viable killer who's frustrating to play and easy to counter (provided the survivor is average to above average).
Anyone who say's she is still the best probably has yet to play any good survivors or drop the double recharge addon's. While you can be good with her in the current form because she can blink through objects that alone won't make her the best killer. Any survivor who is Hindered by there own power I.E Legion may get some kill's, but the average for kill's will never be good.
Aren't you on console though...?
Console Nurse and PC Nurse are 2 very different things.

@ABannedCat said:
Nurse got trippled nerfed. Her cooldown, dedicated servers, and the sound issues right now make countering Nurse ridiculously easy.
Sound issues affect every killer.

Leatherface is too obvious, so...
Leatherface.

Found some friends a few minutes ago :) Wanted to play Wraith, but one person was named "Snoot Booper"... So I switched for Pig, got a lot of Boops <3
LOL I keep facing Snoot Booper
and god damnit I just CAN NOT resist picking Pig everytime. She has too much control over me.
-
Scrubs can't play Nurse, what else is new.
-
Damn, didn't expect such an overwhelming majority.
I respect these opinions.
-
It's not like he counters loops, he just reduces them. Just play safe with pallets and you'll almost always have enough to last a decent amount of time vs him. Then when he's out of bottles he's super screwed and needs to do his long slow reload.
But the main thing is, he has NOTHING else. Just an aid in chases and that's your lot.
-
Got salvaged in the Autohaven Wreckers.

They are fun to play as because it’s always a joy to scare survivors and get gen grabs. You also don’t have to worry about them running away as soon as they hear the heartbeat.
Not so much fun to play against though. I probably dislike Ghostface the most out of any killer.
Yee I can understand that. GF can be really fun to play, but staring at one that's leaning and stalking you without being able to reveal him is just a bad feeling.

Don't remind me :'(
