I thought it was yellow, dang that is awesome to hear! I'll take whatever I can get!
-
Nolb buffs? Oh my, thank you! I've always loved the idea of this perk and I love to see it get love. I didn't think it'd get any changes after 6.1

Nah 4v1 is better, 2v8 is mindnumbingly boring, badly designed and implimented, limited, repetitive. It's a soulless boring dumbed down DBD lite for people who cant play actual DBD.
It's a palette cleanser for a couple days at best, and an excuse to drop the game and have a break until its gone at worse.
Dumbed down for people who can't play actual dbd, so why do I hear tons of complaints about double teaming? 2v8 must be harder if people can't handle being chased by 2 killers.
-
Not the first time, either. Demo had his best addon nerfed for Xeno release(alien competition?)
-
For real, running both was the only reason I was gonna bother
-
Sawabout an even mix of the 3 with the exception of Scout, which is fine by me because scout is "my" class
-
It's a pre running perk so it can stay bad
-
OnlyFeng. I felt it helped encourage killers to tunnel me without making it too obvious I'm baiting them
-
Running 2 killers at thr same time was so much funthat I need a break because 1v4 just seems boring in comparison.
Once we get all the killers it'll be better
-
I love how hatch was added to end games lasting forever, but killers drag the game out and blame the hatch for causing them to drag out the match.
Like nah bro, it's all a self inflicted problem. One time, a survivor tbagged them on top of hatch and messages them "gg ez" so now the whole world has to burn. That's literally what's going on.

Another reason for me not to play the game right now.
another reason why mmr/sbmm is pointless, I feel.
I supported mmr because I thought I'd face killers like you more consistently
-
Qs are long enough that people are legitimately not coming back in time. I have a feeling you knew that already though and are just venting.
It does suck though, waiting ALL that time just for a game like that. I'm sorry to hear that.
-
I play Yui and Meg in their AoT outfits so people know I'm a scout
-
I'm...moderately whelmed for this chapter. Both the survivor and killer perks seem interesting enough and the dog pull sounds like it'll get nasty once people finally figure out how to play the killer once real people start playing
Jagged compass? Hella cool. Syringe perk for survivor? Looks interesting. New Invocation? Heck yeah!

In Baldurs Gate, one of the most beloved companions you can recruit is a miniature giant space hamster and his caretaker, Minsc.

Iv8 with stronger killer and 1 hook im here for it
This could unironically be the next My Little Oni. MLO fixesa lot of dbds core issues such as removing tunneling and camping entirely. It's the real "bite sized dbd"

If you think this is so easy, why isnt it happening so often? Right, because its not that easy.
It is that easy. One friend is all you need to coordinate team wide insta heals, do double Guide or rebuild the same god pallet 10x in the same match.
-
We've seen a divide between 115 trickster supporters and 110 trickster advocates i think bhvr is just taking their time on this as this current rework Trickster, who is actually the 3rd iteration of him, is controversial despite technically being the best he's ever been
-
Have everybody reboot the game. Sometimes swf lobbies permanently break
When this happens on Xbox we all have to do it if one person pretends to restart it'll just stay broken

This is basically how I feel. There's no real tension as Survivor and it feels too stressful to play casually as Killer. Not sure I have ever had a win, at least at the… ONE, that's it one, Killer I like and am interested in playing in this mode.
There just is not anything here for me. I prefer 1v4.
Is being double teamed not enough tension? That sounds like maximum tension to me

I think I stopped playing shortly before the Alien chapter and then picked it back up around the time Dracula came out? Hated learning how to play against Chucky, Drac, and the Unknown (the Unknown especially because without researching, how would I know I need to look at him while being chased to get rid of his power???)
Could that not be said for basically every killer?

I'd do anything for old TOTH I really miss being able to dedicate 2 perks and manually protect a totem instead of cheesing with penti builds
One time I remember trying a full hex variants for double iri Myers and the match just devolved into a straight up totem war. Both of us were just throwing over a random totem.
I barely got to enjoy it on Pinhead before it got reworked in anticipation of Artist iirc

I'd say Blight. PC flicks just give him too much power to break into any loop or obstacle and hit somebody.
I feel like blights getting nutty hits in this mode I feel likei can't risk pallet stuns on him because he'll just hit me through the stun lol
-
For point #1, I honestly feel like it's hard to tell because I feel that survivors aren't going at full power. They go down in 10 seconds for silly reasons like ignoring the "YOU ARE REVEALED" status
As Survivor you must understand all the killer classes, how their reveal skills work and be able to meta game them. I'm convinced they added the range on Brute's gen kick aura because last go round i would just hover the edge of Nowhere to Hides reveal range. I was consistently the last one to be hooked. Also, since every killer knows how Cages work, healing under. Hook against a meta where EVERY KILLER has crazy mobility is insane. Don't do it please, stop!
A lot of survivors seem to mentally shut down as soon they get tag teamed. It seems like people legitimately go on tilt but I don't understand. That's literally how you win 2v8 is being double teamed. I wish other survivors would take the bull by the horns and try to run with it.

Eh I'd say pretty impossible to buff trickster without major changes to how he throws knives. The best I can really think its making different modes like the regular throw mode then a 2 burst throw for longer ranges. But other than that I liked old trickster WAY better that this shell he used to be.
As a console player, I should be in heaven with the lack of recoil + being 115% but honestly the rework sucked the soul out of him and i just don't see why I'd ever play him anymore.

Deathslinger got the short end of the stick, his only buff is reload speed and it is not enough on large maps, don't play him if you care about winning or good results because you will be crawling around like a snail on huge maps.
2v8 would have been a good chance to let us relive quick scope Slinger
-
Deep Rift is blue so Blendettes who cares about camo index won't feel FOMOd by a play to win skin
As much as I hate it sometimes, I'd rather it be this way. We're not supposed to care about Deep Rift. I got and enjoy Deep Rift Cage and Renato so I'm good

The big secret was that the old version was fine and not really that good of a perk to begin with because there were much better tracking perks like nowhere to hide in the game.
Fine? It was toxic. The linger made proxy camping too easy, made mobility killers way too mindless, gave the middle finger to solo q as a random cherry on top for no reason AND it interrupts survivor actions such as Lament Configuration, Jigsaw Boxes, hexes, invocation, healing a tunneled survivor etc
IIt Was a Rat poison on steroids. It was a matter of when it'd get dumpstered, not if.
-
Nurse seems nuts you can't hold w against her in this mode you have to hold w and use geometry.
I prefer the feel of spirit, though with her addons. I feel mobile again with her. Nurse needs a warm up round but all Spirit needs is grass to pop off.
All the killers seem roughly even tbh, with the exception of Slinger and Trapper. I liked Trapper last time but this time you really need mobility.
-
Double the survivors means double the chance of being left on the hook to die. Basic math, right? Wait, that can't be right..
-
I'd rather base kit trick blades tbh, not for any power level reasons just for flavour.
-
I thanked my killer for coming back last night. Full solid minute of me placing traps with no help. I just kept on trappin
Ngl, I've ripped the bong too hard and closed my eyes and forgot I was playing dbd only to be woken up by the match found noise

@Autharia said:
if it was on the farm map it was 99% a scout seeing you. They have a perfect spot to just camp and see half the farm.
Thompson House is the funniest level in the game, only there will you find survivors perched next to the killer looking over the level
-
For maximum maxing you must change your name to Minsc
-
Had a twitch afk Slinger who i sat behind and wallhacked him to my team via Scout but turns out he too was turning on his wallhacks and tried to jack us up on stream
I thought it was funny tbh, wallhacks are probably less useful here than 1v4 lmao
-
Fact is, only more killers will remedy this. We need more killers like Unknown+ licence characters
Spirit would have been a 24/7 pick for me in this mode if I could be naked Spirit
-
@ArkInk said:
I think my issue was with the killers they brought in more than anything. I don't hate facing Blight and Spirit, but two of the strongest killers in the game added in when Nurse and Billy are already there. For such a limited killer roster, the top 4 are all there. Gen speeds being all over the place is fun but wonky, and the two issues only really serve to inflate each other in my opinion.
Overall, the mode feels choked by the objectives of regular gameplay. If I were to suggest something, maybe just ditch gens altogether and give the survivors a 5-7 minute timer before the gates power. Toss in a few optional objectives that give buffs so survivors don't just stealth all game, and it can naturally transition into a hatch game if a certain amount die before the timer reaches a certain point. Classes could then be a bit more varied as people don't just default to the one that buffs the objective interaction, and then add more of the weirder killers.
That time limit sounds interesting. Reminds me a little of calling the police in F13
-
It's fun enough, but it really needs more killerz. It's the elephant in the room imo.
I do not like Wraith, give me Pinhead plz

Exactly why I want them both added.
I want to see the game go nuts trying to mix the Dream World with Nightfall.
What would they be called? The Fredge?
-
You can just hop in a locker if killers start to slug
-
@Crowman said:
If both killers focus their energy on you, you weren't going to last very long regardless.
If both killers focus on you, those generators aren't going to last long either.
Double teaming is strong but it relies on finding weak links and it lacks pressure. Both huntress and Slinger are slow killers you're putting your fate into the hands of the Slinger quite literally
-
Thanks for the update, that's good to know! I've watched a couple twitch replays and I've seen myself sandbag my Slingers more than I'd care to admit

2v8 the most fun i ever had on both sides. I like the last iteration of the 2 V8 more but this one still good. Survivors definitely got over buff with the repair speed stuff. Play some games with @HerInfernalMajesty and had a blast. Even got a good excape streak going... which is unheard of in solo q.
For killer solo q brutal but a duo feel pretty good. My killer games go about the same everytime. 3 gens pop with a few hooks and then the team fall apart from endless unhooking and healing.
IIs Your in game name similar to your forum name? If you were a manly David and you had an AoT Zarina incessantly tbag you on Yamaoka that was me saying hi lol

I feel very different, I find it frustrating as I am matched with anyone and everyone and team mates clearly have no idea what they are doing a lot of the time.
Having skill is not rewarded if the killers double team you, there is no skill involved as a single survivor cant deal with 2 killers unless the killers are absolutely awful. I have escaped from killers as they cant catch me many times and for me it feels really bad when those killers get me simply because I got caught out in a 2v1 where skill does not matter. Having 5k hours in game means nothing either
I only play this event for the BP in all honesty, I find it more frustrating than enjoyable
2 killers on you should be 7 survivors on uncontested generators. It's hard, but that's where the magic is imo.
The kicker for me is moreso about the teams you kinda get; tons of inefficiency in 2v8 sometimes when there shouldn't be. Curse you, Mr. Dull Totem! The bane of my existence, I tell ya.

Wraith, Deathslinger and who else?
Spirit. You can hear the husk moaning. Tbh i was really hoping it's be fixed for 2v8. It's not the end of the world, but it's enough to convince me to only play her solo and not on comms

Psst! This is true of normal mode, too. ;)
I kinda set myself up for that, didn't I?
You're not wrong, though. I don't like 1v4 Trapper but 2v8 Trapper has some Knight qualities with his zoning because of the increased speed. I treat my traps as more of a "touch n go" speed boost more than an actual loop closer
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
The issue is that this game mode offers nothing survivors can't experience in 1v4 (except getting chased by 2 killers at once, which sucks).
Meanwhile, killers get a completely unique experience by having a second killer join them.
It's really not hard to see why killer queues take forever but survivor queues are instant. There is no incentive to play survivor and bp bribes won't change that.
Getting chased by 2 killers is half the fun and reason to even play survivor in this
-

The uncloak animation seems way quicker than it should be (I know it's supposed to be 22% faster but it looks even faster than that) but then you can't attack for a moment. Regular 1v4 Wraith there's no problem, it seems to be a 2v8 exclusive issue.
With 3 killers bugged I guess I made the right choice sticking with Trapper
-
I'm surviving way more than 1v4 and having more fun id say. Looping 2 killers who are teaming you is peak DbD

It's time for 1000% please
