My win condition is either to have fun, learn something new, or try to get better. Trying to game an invisible number is literally pointless when the matchmaking often relaxes search restrictions in favour of queue times.
Some of my most miserable matches have been 4ks, and I've had plenty of nail biting 0ks. I could play in a way to get those 4ks. But how you act affects how others act, and tbh I couldn't care less about proving how good I am If it means sweatier games

Because nobody uses' boons.
speak for yourself lol. Exponential clowns on lame killers, shadowstep saves so many health states, CoH makes survivors very aware and enables crazy good resets, and Illumination, while bad, is fun to use in casual party mode swf where you take a confusing level like Hawkins
We don't talk about Dank Theory tho
-
I would actually be angry if Toba were in the same realm as Nostromo. Toba is my favourite level in dbd but Nostromo suuuuuuucks
-
Nope, but as an old Gears of War fan I wondered the same thing

Pretty much what I been saying, it's the hatch mechanic that's the blame. No different to when people were complaining about the base kit mori encouraging slugging for the 4k, the hatch does the same. Encourages slugging. But so many survivors seem to like the hatch as a means to escape they wouldn't dare put the blame on hatch lol
??? Hatch encourages matches to end, brother. Without it you'd be complaining about matches dragging on forever.
Which, funnily enough, is exactly how killers are using the hatch mechanic.
-
Being slugged and bled out by sad, miserable people for no reason and then have people disingenuously defend that behavior by pretending it's legitimate slugging when we all know we aren't talking about legit slugging.
I don't mind downtime in games, I was heavy into Search in CoD which was a 1 life per round game. Yeah, my corpse got tbagged and I'd get called slurs in game chat but at least I got could put my tryhard pants on and clap you.
These days I'm just playing sparking zero because I'm kind of over it
-
Sometimes it can be a good idea to 99 your deep wound against Legion; stabbing a frenzyd Survivor immediately ends your power so if the killer isn't careful they'll be immediately taken out of it
-
Is it as balanced as Toba?
I haven't had much chance to play it yet, my one time it was a Nurse so yeah
-
It really should. Head On is so bad that I try to pair it with Empathic, but even then I feel people don't pay attention to auras or are conditioned to stay away from the aura

First, I want to apologize if I gave you that impression, my question was sincere. Another thing people often overlook is that many content creators play at a much higher level than most of us. Perks that work well for them on that level might not be as effective for where "we" are.
SSometimes Perk value comes down to how matches play out. Pain res is often cited as one of the best, but we all see how sometimes the game is over by the time 1 token is consumed. Against an altruistic team, Pain Res is actually garbage but a perk seen as trash like Mad Grit can give infinitely more value in these cases.
Perk evaluations never take these into account and look into perks in a general vacuum

I'm glad they didn't put it to 8% just because. Guess Christmas is saved for Pinhead

Yeah... I might be taking a break myself. Warframe is about to release a major update and bunch of videos about Marvel Rivals hit my YouTube feed... so gonna try that. Maybe by the time I get back, they'll rework this addon to 2.5%.
It's sparking zero for me. I thought 4 man slugging was aggravating but that Broly guy is something else! First patch is out today so I'm hitting the gym
-
Ace in the Hole at the top is pretty rad, hope you are enjoying those buffs!
-
Yeah, i need 2v8 like...YESTERDAY!! But I'm over the incremental additions, I need all the killers or give me nothing at this point.
I need Resident Evil matches. I need the licenses. I can't handle seeing Wraith/Huntress all the time.
Idc if it's balanced or even functioning properly
-
I can secure at least one down with Skull Merchant per match. *At least*

I agree, but we're talking about a game where you can't tell that player to leave the totem, can't queue for a competitive match where people will be more optimal, and can't rank up to stop getting matched with those teammates. The mechanic can't be tuned to the point that one survivor who disagrees on totems will throw the game for everyone. That's not good design given the current limitations of solo queue and matchmaking.
Sounds like a good reasoning to rework the Plague imo

It sucks but you shouldn't be banned more than a couple minutes if you don't DC often.
I'm pretty sure with no penalty people would just DC at the first bad chase on both sides, so it would just replace a problem with a bigger one....unfortunately.
The problem is due to how the game detects AFK players. From what I've seen others say here, the survivors die so fast that the game thinks they were afk and penalized them
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
I have no responsibility or obligation for your achievement. That's basically the only healthy option.
Otherwise, people would just run these add-ons and expect people to give them a free kill or two.
Would we expect this of survivors? If I play Ada and name myself outbreakbreakout should I expect to be given a free escape? That sounds ridiculous.
What you're implying is that it's ok to sit in a locker for 60 minutes until server closes because....the killer isn't entitled to an achievement?
You sure showed those Myers they should have tried switching out that chainsaw for a Dredge kit
-
I don't think we need compensation because I'm sure they will just revert the change that was snuck through with 0 testing
Surely we wouldn't receive a random buff, only to get hit with an overreaction nerf putting us in a worse spot than before..
-
@Flopkween said:
Its so weak and situational. It needs to be buffed. Personally I think it should work throughout the whole map and not just in the terror radius
I don't get why it's not like this

Hahaha, I appreciate the compliment, my friend, but to be fair it didn't take much.
I just thought about the main complaint me and other OG Freddy mains had: being unable to stop survivors from interacting with the objectives during the Dream Transition, and DBD just happened to release a new status effect that conveniently prevented survivors from interacting with objectives.
Incapacitated was Freddy's status? Wow, I would have thought it were Twins. TIL!

Toba Landing was changed? I didn't know that.
How was its OG version different than the one we currently have?
It had more bush and clutter. Billy/Blight mains hated it
-
Toba Landing is the most balanced level there is
I preferred the OG Toba. As I feel the new one favoured 3 gen/Ultimate Weapon shenanigans but now that that's gone we are cooking again
If I ever got sent to hell, forced to spend all eternity playing dbd but I could pick 1 map it'd be Toba
-
I wouldn't concern yourself with what other people think. Because if you start, then literally every perk item and addon are crutches
-
I invented the build so yes, at least one of us does.
I prefer Plaything tho for Face the Darkness value
-
He's not overrated, the people that play him are.

I did too! I mean imagine throwing bees at Meg! "Shut up Meg!" lol I feel is a lot of potential and possibility :)
We'd 100% need a Nic Cage voice line!
-
Thanks for the reminder that CoH is an old perk
-
I'm fine having to play around the perk, I feel like calm spirit and eyes of Belmont are mandatory but I don't think there's should be a TR requirement. Either the killer is Undetectable or they are not, so it shouldn't matter.
I don't like the idea of this perk, but I don't think it's completely terrible
-
Okay so I wasn't tripping. My Sable outfit and load out got reset so I thought my progress was reverted, but thankfully that wasn't the case
-
One of the Scene Partner scream queens :)
-
I honestly couldn't care lessabout Blurry Photo but I'm still miffed over Vanishing Box; there are few good uvx addons. I'd rather have seen photo get gutted, a boring addon rather than Box which promotes using power
-
Is it bad that I knew this was Cornwind before opening? What a turnaround for one of the most infamously survivor sided realms
-
Revert it. I didn't ask for these changes
-
I've accidentally found a lot of survivors by raking them with the Search function that's kinda nice.

Oh, not gonna lie i didn't even notice.

You made an account just for this?
working with the killer is a real problem if you play solo
-
If Ultimate Weapon didn't force it I don't think Thrill will, it'll just be dialed back a bit
-
This is just how new chapters go....people try and meta game it. I remember when Deerstalker was everywhere just to counter Nic Cage
-
Singularity is a fun change of pace, I hope you enjoy him!
I like taking that Nutritional Slurry just so I can focus more on podding and shooting and less time managing overall pod placements
-
Reject totem perks and just pre running the killer to oblivion. Stay safe out there. The worst Thrill games I have are the ones where Face the Darkness never come online that's my advice.
-
I'd like it to activate a tad faster, everything else i can live with. Slow vaulting not a big deal for example since it's predictable
-
Nice to see others finally enjoy my thrill+face the Darkness combo that I've been running for 2 years
I find it surprising that thrills numbers changed at all tbh it seemed a tad unnecessary even by my evil Pinhead standards
-
People just enjoy holding others hostage, the mori is just an excuse to justify it. Removing it will change nothing because power trippers gonna power trip
-
Invocation are simply too powerful to be allowed to have them all be used at once.
Basement gaming must be kept in check. Being in the basement allows me to have a sip of my water
-
I'm lucky that I got the adept despite the entire team playing for basement lmao. I was nervous not seeing the achievement pop up, because I ain't trying that again

What perks do you think were strong from trevor, sable, alan, ellen, or nic? because not a single one of those survivors has a perk that is meta or even considered top half of perks in my book. Like I love some of the perks from these survs, especially nic, but I cant make a fair argument that any of these perks are strong.
Scene Partner is insane. And that perk got buffed.
It's so good that killers refuse to chase Scene Partner players. Now that Shoulder the Burden is here, I can leverage my invincibility
-
Thanks for giving me a reason to brush off the ol Face the Darkness Pinhead, thank you for bringing this to my attention
-
So...this means that the Sadako patch counter can officially be retired?
Heck yeah, happy for yas
-
I got 13gb on Xbox.
