Every perk is a crutch perk if you want to be technical.

I occasionally use it in a single build:
Eyes of Belmont/Treacherous Crows/Calm Spirit/One-other-perk-that's-good-when-injured (like Resi or OTR etc)
It actually makes the perk pretty decent, since you don't disturb crows, you'll always get wallhacks on the killer. Actually kind of fun.
Granted, it's an objectively bad perk that requires a full build to even remotely make work but I'm one of those players that really thrives on trying to make terrible perks work, I love doing that.
I managed to run an Artist infinitely once on the Saloon building with this build; i kept giggling like a schoolgirl because I thought it was funny to see Artist betrayed by the birds and assert my own birdominance
But man, those Eyes really aren't optional you blink and you miss the auras

Legions is broken in this mode, none of the abilities or aura reveals should happen when in feral frenzy its just a joke.
Stand still in these matches, this killer needs to be adjusted with the mechanics or just kill switched.
SMH bhvrYou have auras too your scouts should be on top of Legion revealing them and rebuilding pallets. Legion spree is also countered by 2 button pushes from the medics
-
Crowmance is officially dead :(
-
Juicing 2 killers simultaneously keeps my brain occupied and stimulated! I just need those bots replaced because they are too busy being spooked or eating herbs

Who doesn't like legion? Hes one of the weakest killers in the game rn. Its your teammates who make them seem strong, because for some reason no one knows how to split up which is super obvious counterplay. Hes not even overtuned, its literally that no one knows how to counter his power, they just insta mend since mending isn't long in this gamemode. Then again, im yet to see a single legion I've played against get 9 hits consecutively, its actually hard to do and you need to activate power on one end of the map and travel to the other side over time, gettung chain hits on the way
Legion is a breath of fresh air to me compared to Wraith. I enjoy bullying Legion players
-
Mending is faster in 2v8. I play Legion specifically because they appeal to killers with game sense but it's deflating seeing people just camp pallets and give me easy stabs. People spook too easily and don't stun.
People should be playing more Medic. All that work to stab people can be erased by one Medic duo

You play this mode competitively? Ok. Not sure what to say to that. I have won several games in 2v8 as survivor. I don't play killer at all though.
I am Goku in real life...I always try my best and want to face the world's strongest. Being chased by 2 killers at once really fires up my competitive spirit.
-
Slinger and Nemesis are easy bottom tiers. Id rather have a Trapper
-
2v6 is boring because it's easy win for killer;it's like bullying children. Except when you play survivor you have 2 killers humping you thinking they are great for strategically ignoring the useless bots.
IImagine Loading in 1v4 and 1 survivor just never shows up. That's 2v8, every game. I play this mode competitively but it's the integrity of this mode has been compromised
-
I'd love for it to come back
-
If somebody uses that perk, it's me.
IIf Nobody uses that perk it's because I'm dead
My friends hate me
-
I'm just happy to not see Wraith
-
If legon wasn't here we'd just be complaining about huntress. You're welcome BTW
-
He's too slow, weak and lacks pressure just like Slinger. Watching the preview was so painful.I was really hoping dor that 3rd zombie
-
Odd, seeing as Montreal literally just got a server.
They could just be from Toronto
-
People complained that bots were too good so they got nerfed

No, you don't understand. You do not win against good survivors. You only draw at best.
I get it. Y'all are in paradise, running meme builds, never stressing, and letting survivors go all the time to keep yourself in low MMR. But that's not reality for the rest of us. We want to beat good survivors, not just bad ones.
And it's not even about losing too often, or losing to good survivors. It's about losing or almost losing to survivors who have no place beating you. They go down instantly the moment they're not at a BS tile like shack, they could do the gens way more efficiently, and they don't even run meta perks sometimes, but they still win. That's how much the game holds their hands now. The gen defence is destroyed. Pain Res, which most people would call the most useful, literally deletes itself after 1 use. Want more uses? You have to hook all the other survivors, thus making the worse play and spreading hooks before killing anyone. And the pallets are absolute BS, because they're around every corner. You can stack Brutal and multiple stacks of Fire Up together, and you won't even come close to catching up to the survivor before they make their next loop. What is the point?
We'll admit we aren't as good when we stop getting such ridiculous asks. "Do a perkless add-onless streak, or you're not good." "Don't use any strategy, and go for random chases." "Don't use aura perks or slug, or you're bad." "Play Wraith, Pig, and Clown and get 4ks all the time." It's ridiculous. Why do you think the best players, in tournaments and stuff, never do that? "Because the survivors are strong." Well there you go. The moment survivors know what they're doing, and are efficient at it, killer can't match up. This is a dream world y'all speak of, where killer can just do whatever and win.
Sure, maybe if you play perkless and addonless.
This notion that killers are useless is a relic of a bygone age as well as just a comp problem. My off meta meme perks are banned anyways so maybe I'm just too pro at the game instead of using pain res : p

1v4 survivors already don't know how to deal with a Legion. Now survivors have 2 deadweight Bots to hold them back even more.
-
I'd be more than happy removing 1v4 for 2v8 if that solved the queue problem
-
I'd gladly take bots if they were better than people but they are not...so i don't want them on my team. I also don't want to face them.
-
I want Jeryl back
-
More blue than the Deep rifts
-
Wesker is powerful...yet also powerless to deal with a mere fire barrel.
-
Plague turns #TeamCleanse against #TeamDontCleanse and then Plague sits back with popcorn watching teams turn against each other
THis guy cleansed, resulting in my down? That's a slight that must be punished by leaving you to die
-
#3 is giving me some slight Ronald McDonald vibes
-
Cool, this will help me buy Tauries cult outfit so I can finally start playing as her

Double tap mode should not return period.
chase is the most fun part of dbd, therefore being double tapped is twice as fun as regular dbd!
-
You'd hate to face my 1100 ping killer
-
I just want to go where I belong as a Scout...perched atop the Thompson House crouching next to the Huntress perched atop the Thompson House
-
My Little Oni was a huge amount of fun. But now that we've had 2v8, I honestly wanna see regular survivor sized 1v8 MLO.
MLO was such great loop practice for survivor, and there was no tunneling or camping. It's a shame that mode wasn't given a chance because of the queue times and the inability to read Event Mode details telling you you can't vault.

You're… joking right?
How does a console player send a PM to a PC player? They can't.
If someone sent a PM to anyone asking them to follow their stream, I guarantee nobody would. The whole point of advertising a twitch via a username is that you are not directly asking anyone to go to your stream. It's like a billboard. You can see it and choose to ignore it, but those who are interested can follow up as they see fit.
Some people want to stream but do not have the financial wiggle room or desire to drop $2500 on a decent computer that can handle a stream at good quality and a game simultaneously. Some people want to stream from their console that they already have paid for. Saying "get a PC" when the issue is only this game's implementation of crossplay is… an interesting take to say the least.
You're right, since from my experience the average streamer is actually playing on Playstation
-
Healing under hook is a bad habit to begin with;
-
Spirits been bugged since long before the last 2v8. If bhvr hasn't cared by now they never will. I don't blame people for being desperate

Must be a you only thing. I never experienced being sandbag or selfish plays from a person using using wake up which again those players I met like maybe 1 time in 5 months+.
If you wanna talk about sandbag, selfish people and rats I shall remind you that is done by people using these perks.
Bond/aftercare/empathetic connection/empathy/ deception/diversion/red herring/urban and fixated. Those are the perks I tend to experience people who hide or sandbag others for their own benefits not wake up users.
The person opening the gate fast while am running injured on death hook has indirectly and directly saved me many times because of their aura reveal.
Yup. Bond and Fixated are superior for true rat strategies.
Now we have to nerf Bond, guys. It's for our own good, just trust.

They’re more likely “sweating” for escapes by combining wake up with sole survivor, and deciding before the game has even started that they are going to selfishly sandbag the team.
Sole survivor wouldn’t have such a high escape rate if survivors were just “playing normally” and “using it as a backup”. And the fact that both these perks are both near the top of the escape rate list is because they are being used together. You don't know they are sandbagging; Wake Up Sole Survivor can be a contingency plan in case a match goes south. That can be worth giving up half a build for
-
Maybe if the sales are abysmal we will see some changes expedited
-
You either have fun or you lose. Dbd has too much RNG elements to ever be taken too seriously.
I came into dbd in 2021 expecting to lose 95% of my games so I've always tied my win conditions to my personal growth. But for arguments sake, I've always considered a single survivor escaping as a "win" on the survivor side. Sure, when I play killer i too consider that a "win" but these are 2 different sides so I don't feel it's too odd to have different standards. I'm not ashamed of calling myself the champ by dying and getting one solo random out
-
One of my swf members is a dedicated Quentin main who rocks Wake Up religiously. So i can confirm that at least one human runs it and will miss it. Poor Quentins can't have anything nice
-
I'd like to see Nics deep Rift Tough Guy outfit come back. I use it, but if wish my friends had it too. One of the few deep rifts I prefer
If we see anything for Jake I want another old man outfit for him. Old man Jake used to be my main but they changed him too much.
-
I'm the highest mmr master elite survivor main of all time. The hidden technique to become master is by equipping sole survivor+wake up+Resilience and drop items in a corner
Bow before my high mmr genius.
(Mmr is pointless)
-
I actually just thought " wonder what almos up to these days" hope you're doing well
-
I wish I timed it but i spawned in as Bubba on Badham with Lethal Pursuer, bee lined shack and basemented everybody. Game was over in roughly 3 minutes
-
Too many to list, but right now I am busy feeding the crows. Next time you bump into one, I may be watching.
-
One hook state didn't stop killers from slugging in My Little Oni
-
It's not really chaos since you just stack best items as insurance. This is simply too undercooked for a 3rd iteration
-
This idea has been around a while. I remember even otz tried this experiment when skull Merchant was still alive. Tbf fair though, that had the 3gen context of "is it more merciful/faster to bleed people out than play normally as SM"

I don’t have stats because I think it’s stupid that we have to jump through hoops to get them. I don’t want to sign up for a newsletter and I don’t want to sign up for a BHVR account. These stats should be available to every player, regardless of what platform they play on, and they should be live every time you log in. You shouldn’t have to do a bunch of extra stuff and then wait for an occasional update to get emailed to you. Ridiculous
Cod:WaW let us link our forum accounts with our gamertags even on the Xbox 360 back in 2009. We had detailed info such as damage heat maps, accuracy, all our gun stats etc.
It's a shame that never stuck around though, Infinity Ward never cared about that until they tried to monetize that.
