Killer with +90ms is unplayable.

We are in 2025 and I need to understand something. I have around 20-30ms, how it’s possible to play against a killer who has +90ms ?!

It’s barely impossible to win a game. The killer has always an avantage on the survivor and that shouldn’t not be normal.

With more than 1300 employees, it's such a shame to still have this problem. You guys really need to work on your game instead of releasing skins and useless patches.

  • You'd hate to face my 1100 ping killer

  • Players have been complaining for years about this, but BHVR isn’t going to do anything about it. They don’t want to enforce any sort of ping limits in lobbies because it would reduce the number of people playing the game and thus reduce revenue. Doesn’t matter if it results in a miserable or unfair experience for the other players.

  • Because not everyone can afford the best internet, or have access to it.

Gaming is expensive, you already have to sink a lot of money into the technology and games themselves, having to pay for internet is just more expenses on top of it, which a lot of people cannot actively afford.

Similarly, some people live in areas/region where getting a stable connect is difficult. For example, I live in the middle of the woods, and despite spending a lot of money on "fast" internet (not many providers in my area so my options are limited), I still have issues because the location is really out of the way and weather can further make things worse.

Though being (not) being hit because of ping/internet issues moreso comes down the net-code having issues, and that can of worms it up to BHVR to solve.

    2 solutions:

    1. Adding more servers.
    2. Adding a matchmaking based on the ping.
    3. Fixing the netcode or something.

A lot of games introduced the matchmaking based on the ping and it’s working perfectly. Survivor with low ping (30-70ms) play against killer with low ping too and survivor with high ping (+90ms) playing against killer with high ping.

Having a high ping is so overpowered that some killer deliberately use lag switches or VPNs to get an advantage. It’s literally "CHEATING" but for BHVR, it’s ok.

BHVR is a biggest joke, all they want to do is profit with skins, overpowered killers, etc.

  • BHVR should really invest in some additional servers. The Middle East was very vocal about needing one, the OCA region is constantly being put into other ones, South America has problems as far as I can remember...

  • it could be their internet, or just the fact that they were forced onto another server

  • I agree, the game is almost unplayable most of the times. This, along with many other reasons, is why I left a very very poor review on Steam.
