Hi there I would like you to meet someone....
This is Leon....and he has something called flashbangs. I bet you two will be good friends.
I acknowledged flash bangs, but they're gimmicky and more importantly, there needs to be more utility.
-
Just camp and tunnel. 4Head
-
Don't worry, Feng will get 20 skins within the next 8 months, one of them is bound to be what you want.
-
Biggest issue with survivor for me is that more than 50% of the game is just M1 Simulator. The remaining percentage being "run around in a circle and dropping a wooden board at the baddie". There should be more nuance to repairing and looping. Items should be integrated into the chases similar to that of flash bangs. Repairing should involve looking for components so it's more fun for both sides.
-
I was playing Killer in Cowshed and 5 safe pallet loops spawned in one corner. This game is sometimes (but really most of the time) ridiculous.

Comparison, you can see the head was meant to have eyerings and makeup and they just didn't bother at all lmao.
Either someone at Behavior released the wrong head model or they just gave up and released the unfinished variant.
-
What confuses is why they haven't announced a new project. They have 850+ people, there's no way even half those people are working on DBD.
-

Huh. On the one hand, I don't mind it as an anti-camping measure, but on the other hand, I don't like it as a free pass for survivors to stack even more meta perks. And it just makes 'bodyblock the killer from attacking the unhooker' that much more of an issue.
This is a big one. It's equivalent to Survivors having 5 perk slots.
-
Let's be real, most of the answers will be "We don't know", "No", or "Maybe we'll work on it". And if the question is related to some cosmetic or music/sound effect, they'll be like "OMG, that sounds amazing, first thing to do on my priorities list!".
-
Even though "GG" is a sign of courtesy towards opposing players, a lot of people do use it to gloat their victory and taunt.
-
I main Huntress so if the bunny mama goes, it's time for bing bong boi.
For survivor, I main Cheryl so I guess I'd move to Claudette or Mikaela.
-
I don't understand some of you. Bubba is a serial murderer who eats and wears skins of all racial backgrounds. So contextually, him wearing Claudette's face is fitting to his character. What some of you want is to remove it because you're offended by it due to its connection to the past... But what do you think is going to happen if this actually passes through? There'll be people raising a movement to remove Clown because they think he's too similar to John Wayne Gacy, a real serial killer clown. There'll be people who are offended by Plague because she reminds them of many people who were affected or even died to the pandemic. This will set a precedent where anyone with loud voice on twitter or whatever social media will straight up remove valued content from this game (though, when it comes balancing, Behavior is completely deaf to those suggestions/demands).
Whatever connections something may have, the CONTEXT, NARRATIVE, and INTENT is what can overthrow whatever negative connotations and labels you add to something. I can show you a racist scene making fun of Africans, Asians, and Irish from Bioshock Infinite but is that game racist and discriminatory? Absolutely not, it's a game about how racism is ultimately evil and destructive, but anyone who hasn't played through it can see an image and scream racism and demand removal. And like I said before, the Smartface is not supposed to be racist, Bubba is just wearing the original 4 survivors' faces and one of them happens to be African. This is just my opinion, though.
-
Behavior continuing to just add perks and characters without changing the core gameplay to be more interactive and balanced for both sides.
-
The core gameplay (generators, hooks, totems) needs to be altered drastically. The game is getting stale because holding M1 on a gen for 80 seconds isn't exactly fun, neither is getting gen rushed.
-
Agreed, need more female killers and male survivors (next survivor will be female most likely).
-
Something is better than nothing. But they COULD give players some kind of incentive to actually PLAY the game to Iridescent 1. Something like a charm which would be minimal work on the dev's part or perhaps have some kind of badge icon next to the character portrait.
-
No, he's weak and BHVR will take 5 years to buff him just like Wraith.

YOUR THREAD
I REPLIED TO IT

I agree completely.

Honestly I don't this Behaviour is this predictable. They're probably laughing watching us guess Springtrap, Candyman, Pennywise, etc... while they're finishing up development on an entirely different killer that literally no-one has thought of.
Exactly, the same happened with Pyramid Head, Trickster, and Twins.
-
Could it be a Siren killer? The image with the clowns is what's confusing me.
-
@ciara1999 said:
Fnaf has a massive back story that isn't just about pizzerias, and in terms of goofyness, we have a elephant costume for clown and a mermaid outfit for yunjin, so please don't start with cringe. Trickster is the ever living cringe. Don't get me started on the fact that ore teens mainly listen to kpop
You know for someone who apparently doesn't care if FNAF gets in or not, you sure love to defend it with your very life.
-
Many people I feel want FNAF to be part of DBD not because of how "scary/unnerving" it is, but rather for its aesthetics and art style. You go to any FNAF community sites whether it's reddit or tumblr, you'll see countless fanart of the characters, a lot of it very inappropriate.

That was feedback. All of what you proposed is a bad idea; some of it is actually broken and abusable (spawning additional zombies at-will). He does not need more zombies. His tentacle is fine, people just focus too much on using it to the exclusion of all else. And: Those of us who actually play Nemesis are doing just fine and having fun. The rest aren't because they refuse to learn.
Nah, "None of this is good" certainly isn't feedback. Also, do you speak for the entire player base of Nemesis players?
-
@Jarol said:
Candyman, El hombre de Caramelo, It will be the next killer, otherwise if it is not, I will laugh.
My man, why are you so obsessed with candyman? lol
-
So what is the point of this thread?
-
Iron Will is fine the way it is. You know you can hear people's footsteps, see blood, and hear the rustling of bushes and grass right? And this is coming from a guy who plays mostly Killer. I'm usually on the Killer's side when it comes to balancing but this is just ridiculous.
-
Let me just say something.
Responding with a negative emotion towards a strategy/tactic/mechanic is perfectly fine and valid. You have every right to complain about something that you don't like.
BUT, it must be stated that you shouldn't blame the players for following a strategy (tunneling and camping) because the developers ALLOW this to happen. What I'm trying to say is, blame the devs, not the players. This also applies to Killers complaining about gen rushing, Dead Hard, etc.
-
Very well said, I agree completely. I haven't gotten him yet specifically because he's in a rather weak state.
-
He's definitely on the weaker side. Imagine if he didn't have contamination or needed to gain mutation rate, if he was just a 115% Killer who had a 6 meter range attack with 2 zombies. He wouldn't be broken at all and it's clear the reason he has those conditions is because it "feels" like Resident Evil and newer players can deal with him much easier.
-
Zambies.
-
Nemesis first, need to see what the changes are like since the PTB. Then probably Jill and next Leon, considering I think Jill arguably has better perks than him.
-
She looks really good!
Since Behavior are now showcasing licensed survivors, the next survivor would most likely be either Bill or Quentin.

I mean, is that thing even a real character model? What did that poor actor do to BHVR to make them so angry at him?
Guess it was in their contract to make him extremely ugl- I mean, pretty.

Lol Quentin is staring into your soul.

Umm... ya'll are forgetting about the prettiest survivor, Quentin?

Also link your MMR score to your forum account. That would be fun.
The changes would also make it so that players have a better incentive to improve their MMR rating by playing well. They could try giving them seasonal awards for going from gold to Platinum.
-
@_VTK_ said:
It's also a matter of programming GUI for that. For a big team it's not a deal, but we know, that BHVR are not the fastest to implement new features. And MMR is still new, introducing a GUI for it right now doesn't make much sense, we don't even know if it's gonna stay. But yeah, I want to be able to see my rating, I also want to know my escape rate and my killrate
Yeah, agreed. I'm just asking now because this is their second attempt at bringing a competent and function MMR after months of collecting data.
-
@Mr_K said:
They want to be able to change it without raising eyebrows.
Either that or they don't want to show it barely functions.

@GenJockeyNance said:
Hm. I don't know if I like it quite yet. I keep going back and fourth between, "it's not that bad." To, "What have they done to my girl?" Like... I don't know. I agree with others that she looks... Younger? Like teens and she almost loses the look of hopeful songbird, a sophisticated adult and more like ambitious young teen who wrote her first song not too long ago like I just do not know.
I like the hair tho. I like you can see the dirt on her and her tattoos are still there thankfully which adds to my confliction if I like this or not.
Im not sure how you get the "hopeful and sophisticated songbird" look from the old Kate, considering in this very image she looks like a mannequin with soulless eyes. The new Kate has life to her eyes and she looks youthful and energetic. In my opinion, the new changes are a marked improvement.

@Noz said:
It is almost as if it is a test to collect data and that nobody claimed that this system was intended to work for this test.
You do realize they've been collecting data ever since they first introduced the MMR system.
-
He looks like Rafael Nadal, the tennis player.
-
Uhh, permabanned for "name and shaming". Please close thread pretty please uWu OwO.
-
Exactly, you might as well remove the program entirely. Eye for an eye, Behavior.
-
She looks better but her snarling expression makes her look... Unappealing.
-
Tier 3 needs to be considerably stronger (pun intended) and 1 extra Zombie wouldn't hurt. Also the initial contamination hit should not give a Survivor a boost of speed.
-
That's actually quite cool.
-
Since Fortnite somehow managed to get the Xenomorph and Ripley, I'd say it's very possible for Behavior to acquire the Alien license. Pennywise is very unlikely however, since Stephen King is adamant about not putting the IP into games.
-
The highest I've gotten.
