Horror licences who won't get a chapter...but you really wish they would.
What's some of the lesser known, or less 'viable' horror licenses, you would like to see in DBD...but know deep down it's not going to happen.
I'll start:
The Green Inferno (2013)
Survivor: Justine
Killer: Bald Headhunter
Map: Peruvian Jungle

My two would probably have to go to Pumpkinhead, very underground so I just can't see him being added. The other being Dead Space which I can't see because, well, EA.
Hello, I've watched A Quiet Place and I enjoyed every part about it!
Through the killer would be awkward because as we seen, it's fast whenever enough noise is made and seeing it being pallet looped would be questionable! 😋
1: Slenderman Paragraph
New killer: The Static
2: Scooby-Doo Paragraph
New Survivor: Shaggy Rogers
3: SCP Paragraph (could be chapter but I digress)
New Killer: The Plague Doctor (049)
4: Sirenhead Paragraph (yes I know he's like 40 feet)
New Killer: The Siren
5: FNAF Chapter
New Killer: The Animatronic (Springtrap)
New Survivor: Charlie (from the books) I guess, maybe Henry.
New Map/Realm: Fazbear Entertainment or Circus Baby's pizza
Insideous
Killer - Lipstick-Face
Survivor - Elise
Map - The Further
Little Nightmares and Twilight zone
The Strangers: Prey At Night (2018)
Survivor: Luke or Kinsey
Killer: The Man In The Mask
Map: Trailer Park
We could also get Dollface and Pin-Up Girl as Legion skins.
The Thing would be incredible
Imagine the mind ######### of a power it would be for the killer to transform into a survivor, start "working on a gen" to lure survivors in and then turn into the killer right in front of their eyes.
Pumpkin head would be a fun killer.
Conjuring
Killer: The Nun
Survivor: Ed and Lorraine Warren
The Collector. With Josh Stewart as survivor.
Jeepers Creepers. Incredible horror movie, cult classic, sex offender director who has sullied the movies
it was about time .. finally there is someone in this forum who knows of the existence of one of the best little known slashers
Bunnyman (a man in disguise as a dirty white rabbit and a chainsaw)
Is Hellraiser too obvious?
Killer: Pinhead
Survivor: Phillip Merchant (I liked Bloodlines the best)
Map: that derelict space ship
No Country For Old Men
Killer: Chigurth
Survivor: Llewelyn Moss
Map: I don't care, just give me Chigurth with his cattle gun and I'll be happy.
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac would be amazing lol. This guy here:
Gluttony from full metal alchemist brotherhood.
the thing in the wall from Johnny the homicidal maniac
axe man from in the mouth of madness
the boogeyman
The thing from the thing.
The weird saggy skinned thing in pan’s labyrinth that had eyes in its hands
Erin couldn't be a survivor - she'd just kill the killer lmao
You do know that many have mentioned this and that the director is a known (sick person) and therefore the devs have distanced themselves from this license?
Lol the same could be said about survivors like Ash. Or even people who want Buffy as a survivor. She’s powerful, but DBD isn’t about realism.
The Thing from you guessed it, The Thing. Once you see it, you'll never be able to sleep without nightmares.
#########? what did he do?
He's a convicted pedophile who wrote pedophilia into the 3rd movie and sexualised it.
I withdraw what I said then.. I'm leaving slowly and i didn't say anything..
Yeah. That was my reaction as well. :(
not your fault for not knowing
i actually liked the first film, the second was okay-ish.. but I will never see them again. And didn’t even know there was a third..
The Hills have eyes (Original Version, not the Crappy Remake)
Killer: Pluto
Survivor: Ruby, or Brenda/Bobby Carter
A movie that really showed what i like in horror movies. And despite using the same dialoges, the remake has just twisted the tone around 180°.
Well not necessarily horror...but...
The Running Man
Survivor: Amber Mendez
Killer: Buzzsaw
Map: The Zone
The Ritual 2017
Killer: The Jötunn
Survivor: Luke
Map: Cultist camp seen near the end of the film
Nightbreed 1990
Killer: Dr Philip K. Decker
Survivor: Aaron Boone (could have a Cabal cosmetic)
Map: Midian
Both are fantastic films. Good choices.
Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Puppet Master series. I don’t care which puppet. With 2 dozen films...it has plenty of lore, killers, and survivor options. Obvious problem is obvious but... its not like the killer can’t be the puppet master and his special ability is to call in the puppets who harass survivors in a variety of ways. I think it would be creepy.
sleender man
I would like to see the Puppet Master 2 representation of Andre Toulon inlcuded, with the ability to use Blade, Pinhead and Tunneler.
We totally need Michael Berryman in DBD!!!
Nemesis - Resident Evil
Blood Starved Beast - Bloodborne
Big daddy - Bioshock
Velociraptor/Indoraptor - Jurrasic Park/World
Rubber 2010
The SCP Foundation would be great but the licensing is ridiculous
Bioshock
Killer: The Bruiser (Big Daddy)
Survivor: Jack. Maybe Atlas. Maybe Elizabeth with an interesting Boon: Realityshift. Realityshift has 1/2/3 charges per trial. A charge can be expent to repair a palette or spawn a crate.
Map: Rapture. Indoor map with lots of steam, light and especially water dripping and spilling all over the place. Some glorious panorama windows that show the ocean.
For real: I will never understand what made the dude think it was a good idea to hang headfirst into that giant exhaust pipe, but it made for an entertaining movie.
The Shining and Until Dawn
I also don’t feel very optimistic about Jason ever making it
The Last of Us
Put the Bloater and Joel in the game and you have the trinity of survival horror in DBD.
F13...Let's give Pamela a shot.
Clock tower would be cool but I think it'd have the chucky problem. Still its a really classic and early horror game. Another thing I doubt we would get is Bloodborne even though it could totally work. I could also think of some indie game characters that just wouldn't make it in.
Also, is it possible to get Travis Touchdown (NMH1 Version) as a survivor?
Monster High Honestly. i know it will never happen but, its a guilty pleasure series to me. and i collect the dolls.
Is Scp copywrited or is it public domain, i dont remember anymore
I really like High Rise Invasion, would also be neat if the mask itself was the killer and the body skin was the survivors we normally have.
Jeepers creepers: 2001
Killer: The creeper
Survivor: Derry or trish
I'm gonna go with a safe bet, since it's a horror podcast, but it would have so much potential it's unreal!
Chapter: The Magnus Archives
Survivor: Jonathan Sims
Killer: Jane Prentiss (a.k.a The Hive)
Map: The Magnus Institute Tunnels
There are so many other characters, but this would be my first choice.
