From all the posts I've seen on the forums recently, and everyone I've talked to outside of the forums, it seems like there isn't anyone at all who likes the struggle mechanic and doesn't want it removed or changed. But as we all know, what seems to be the majority voice quite often is not, which is why I'm curious: is the struggle mechanic really universally hated? While I'm sure some people fe18 comments 161 views last activity

Hi, I got some shards now and I don't know where to spend them. I'd like some tips what you think - should I just buy hag for her good perks or another survivor or just buy a killer I might have more fun with? I do enjoy playing huntress, but haven't played other killers that much yet. Oni looks kinda fun though. People say doctor is fun too and spirit seems interesting with the predicting, min0 comments 11 views last activity

Do you think there exists unbeatable killer builds? Like something so dominating if played perfectly no one can ever escape? Let's ignore Memento Mori and map offerings. Focus just on killer's with specific perks and add-ons. EDIT: Let's also disregard keys because I believe they can supersede anything the killer has except mori.30 comments 281 views last activity

Do you think there should be more cowboy Characters and more skins for existing ones? To date, only the Deathslinger and Jake have them. If you feel like it, write a comment below saying what cowboy-related Character or skin you'd want in-game.6 comments 92 views last activity

I've been seeing quite a bit of people asking for a double bloodpoints event during this pandemic that is going on. While I do see a lot of people wanting double bloodpoints, there are some people that disagree with it.5 comments 31 views last activity

Killers vary between size, movement speed and terror radius, but generators always take 80 charges to completely repair. What if the number of required charges became variable, making gens take longer/shorter to complete depending on the Killer? With Old Hex: Ruin gone, gen speed became even more of a hot topic. While map reworks and development of a secondary objetive would be ideal solutions,10 comments 91 views last activity

This also includes some characters that may not fit the genre of DBD though in my opinion could work. I have made this to give some insight to the developers that we love solo chapters and I think this can give a ton of variety by adding survivors from movies and series we love but at the same time giving the devs the capability to create their own killers with more cosmetics. I'll be removing c20 comments 401 views last activity

I find it a bit annoying to switch back and forth between the Killer and Survivor screens on my Xbox now since you can no longer tap a button that switches for you. Now you have to go to the main page, select Killer or Survivor, use bloodpoints, go back to the main page, pick Survivor or Killer.... Anybody else miss that feature?13 comments 161 views last activity

I've been thinking about ideas to give good killers rewarding endgame perks, I mean "killers who struggle" have NOED, but good killers don't. No matter how many hooks you do, if you try and hook'em all three times is just not possible. So my humble idea is this: Shutdown: When you hook a survivor you win a token. When you have (10/9/8) tokens and endgame collapse is NOT active, this perk activa4 comments 91 views last activity

As you know maybe, mumble is like discord, but you can hear with a suround sound 7.1 where people are in the game. I'm thinking about the possibility of linking mumble and dead by daylight but I'm not allow to do this (I think). This is way I ask you if you think it would be a great idea if it was possible and if you think that the dev should think of it.4 comments 252 views last activity

The 3.6.1 update came on Playstation 4 yesterday. When I played the Oni again I noticed that the range had increased, which I find very unfair. Friends of mine tested it if it could also be on the Internet, but it was the same with them. I would like to know whether it is the same with you or not.1 comments 31 views last activity

When the last survivor is hooked it immediately skips the 3 attempt escape stage and the struggle stage. Do you think the last survivor should get to attempt and or struggle if they haven’t been hooked at all until that point?5 comments 111 views last activity

For me, the Memento Mori Kill sequences are some of the greatest tributes Dead by Daylight has made to the Horror genre. As a quick reminder, the Cypress Memento Mori allows the Killer to Kill the last Survivor instead of Sacrificing them. In my opinion, allowing the Killer to perform a Memento Mori Kill on the last Survivor wouldn't have an impact on win or loss ratios. To accomplish this, the C23 comments 391 views last activity

I feel like being injured even though you were able to escape makes struggling against The Redeemer chain kinda pointless, I feel as though you shouldn't be punished as hard if you can escape without being hit. What do you think should happen to the victim? (assuming they're healthy)3 comments 31 views last activity

I’ve always wanted a reward system for these forums. For example: After interacting with a certain number of forums you’d receive a small amount of blood points or In game cosmetics. Something to pull more people into the forums. What’s your thoughts?7 comments 42 views last activity

I find with the recent updates that seriously limit the survivors ability to complete generators and overall escape for the win less than enjoyable, what truly bothers me is that I am willing to leave a game and suffer the penalty if pitted against the overpowered Doctor.3 comments 41 views last activity

Hex: blight of courage The bond between the killer and the entity instills major fear into even the most courageous survivors. You become obsessed with one survivor, everytime you hit your obsession your terror radius increases by 8 meters to a maximum of 32 meters and everyone within your terror radius screams revealing their location for 5 seconds. After you've hooked your obsession you may7 comments 62 views last activity

Tweak: By baseline the Killer could Mori the Survivor that is on last hook anyway, AFTER sucessfully picking up the Survivor, bringing him to a Hook's area and dropping him under it . Reason: They are awesome to watch but too rare. Could use more of those playing as both sides since this game lacks a real Horror aspect (besides Jumpscares, for me). The Trapper is the only set-up killer in the game whose power he has to collect throughout the map. The Hag, Freddy, and others do not have this issue. Oni can collect blood orbs in a chase. The Trapper usually has to spend valuable time collecting, setting up, and so on. This is why his bag add one are so strong; they cut the time needed for set up. Thing is, I feel this ability is outdated14 comments 121 views last activity

Since the newest update that introduced a new map with a new concept that included 'Breakable Walls', not much in the forums have been discussed about it besides whether or not it's worth it to even break. Reason being is that it takes almost the exact same amount of time to destroy the wall as it does a normal pallet. The whole point of that concept was to shorten loops. I'm trying to get a maximum of persons to answer it because maybe it could be a nice thing If the devs decided to let us choose between a new chapter with a new killer, map and survivor, or working on the existing game with a huge update fixing things, and balancing stuff, What would you choose ?16 comments 141 views last activity

I'm relatively new to game, and for my first killer purchase I was interested in getting a stealth style killer. At the time of writing this I am torn between getting Michael Myers and Ghost Face. I like the way Ghost Face's power works and the mechanics around it, but I think that Myers' perks and aesthetics are better. Does anyone have any strong recommendations or opinions that could h9 comments 112 views last activity
