The first bat, the normal bat is fine but with the recolors the only things that change are the twitchy hands. The main parts of the bat are still gold, white, and the metal "rays" are still gold. In the current patch, about half of the times this does not happen. I know that this is intentional for cases where a gen pops very close by. SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Normally when you are searching for a match as killer, you can still switch to other killers in order to change their loadout, for example. However in the current patch, whenever you click on the loadout button, the game automatically switches you back to the killer you are queueing up with. I have quite a silly name but it gets cut off because it has a % symbol in it. My name on Steam is "2% Milf Drinker" but in game it is now always just "2".
