I'm just curious if it's just a side effect of how the game was made or if it was by design. It's been a few years but I've returned to the game in 2024. Hi everyone ! Since this morning, everytime i try to launch DBD, there's an error message telling me "error code : 30005 (CreateService Failed with 1072.)". I tried everything (reinstalling the game, deleting the .sys file of EAC, reinstalling Steam, looked for Windows update, looked if my antivirus blocked the game, etc.) and nothing worked. Wiki/people say that it takes 0.65s, with 1s for maximum charge. From my observations, it takes 0.82-0.85s for the Shred prompt to appear upon holding M2. I main killer, but the queues are a bit long on standard game mode for killer so I’ve been trying to get better at survivor. To be fair, I have improved, but I noticed there’s two killers I consistently suck at playing against; Chucky and Drac. Anyone have tips on countering them? Let me clarify something before i start. I have several hundred hours into this game. I have a p100 kate and a p13 twins. And im not complaining that survivors are winning. Im here looking for solutions. This being said lately i have found that survivors seem to be almost perfect. About 60% of my matches consist of chasing one person to watch two gens complete. I have played since Beta and remember the old days but I recall an item that was called sheet metal or something like that for survivor very early on that caused a noise notification at a location but checking the wiki In can't find anything. Hello, since the latest update the game has been incredibly laggy and for some reason it just wont use my NVIDIA GPU. I optimised the game in GeForce and looked into settings: NVIDIA is set to be the go to GPU. Yet I wont get the pop up about it being used and game still runs terribly. Starting the game takes forever and the first match per Startup is extremely laggy (teleporting, screen freezing etc.). The second + matches work fine. What is happening? I have not been able to play for weeks and I just managed to fix it so I have been trying to play for the last couple of days but it seems that the server is empty? When I play as a survivor, I get other people (don't know if they're bots) but the killer never participate, he just sits there and do nothing. I play on xbox gamepass for pc. Ever since the 8.2.0 patch, the new achievements still won't show up on my achievements list as even being doable. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing new shows up. I was hoping the 8.2.1 hotfix would have done something, but it didn't. Is anyone else having this issue? Hello all. Since the official release of the Dracula Patch my NVIDIA Filters are not working. It says that a supported game is required. I read from another post that it may be an issue with Easy Anti Cheat. I also tried the fixes online but nothing works. I see we have two modes coming back, and Haunted by Daylight is coming. For Lights Out and Chaos Shuffle, will there be modifier tomes again that give us badges, banners, charms, etc. like last time? I never had any problems with the Twitch Drops until now. Always got mine as soon as i unlocked them on Twitch and saw other Players ingame that had them. However this time i didn't got any of them. My game updated and now its saying that easy anticheat is not installed.
