Since the new update, I've been unable to play the game nor start it even. This is the steps it takes to crash: Step 1: Click on the game on Epic Store. Step 2: EasyAntiCheats bar loads super fast. Step 3: Game crashes. I've tried everything. Uninstall the game, verify the files, reinstall Epic Games, look for updates on windows,… nothing is working. Hey! Don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I'm losing my mind and besides a few others on twitter I'm not finding any fixes. After using cross progression to sync my xbox account to my PC, I have seemingly lost all DLC that aren't duplicates or bought with cells, I've put in two tickets and still haven't gotten any word back and I'm wondering if any of you know any fixes. Im coming back to dbd after probably over a year of break, and the game is no longer playable. There are constant stutters every 1-2 seconds that pretty much puts the game on being to an unplayable state. I tried -dx11 as a launch option but that only helped slightly, the game is still on an unplayable state. Any suggestions? I play not as much as i used to and i notice i barely make it to gold 4 now each month, when previously i would at least make it to iri 2. However, if i pay attention to my matches i still get A LOT of emblem points, when looking up older videos i see the amount of points i make on average each trial hasnt really changed. So, i've been playing dbd for a while, but i stopped briefly before update 7.7.0, when the game began to use UE5. Since then, the game became totally unplayable. First, it did not start, being stuck on a "rendering shaders" or something like that. I think the wings are redundant, kinda weird and wish there was an option to not have them, on the head at least. The head would be so cute without them imo. Your official post (including in clubs on consoles) indicates that starting July 25, you can log in to the game for free... Today is July 26th, the game still requires a subscription! Why is that? If I buy a Game Pass or a PS subscription, then DBD will be in the subscription anyway. So before we start I am a cross player who is playing on steam. I bought the 1100 auric cells pack on 31st of July and got purchase fail and I restarted my game just as they mentioned in their FAQ. When I play DBD on an Xbox with a TV, I have no problems hitting skill checks, but when I play on Steam using a gaming laptop and Xbox Series X controller (via USB) I can never hit skill checks. I have tried completely disabling V-sync, finding a better internet connection, changing my graphics settings, and re-mapping my controls. Nothing has worked… if anyone can help please do! He went to take a body block on a injured team mate but the killer used his M2 instead of his M1 and didn't get a protection hit. Every time I boot up DBD it loads the splash screen for Easy Anti Cheat then crashes and restarts my PC. Some fixes I have tried have been turning off steam client and tried going into the bios to turn off XMP but is already disabled and reinstalling Easy Anti Cheat.
