I have run into two killers, both Huntress using this perk since the Update on Monday. Are Survivors supposed to get an auditory warning that they have activated the perk? I got one both times within 3 seconds of going down the basement stairs. I know that it's a rare perk, but I have seen new players use it and I've never received the auditory warning. Had match when I pick of someone facing directly a wall, someone dropped well timed flashbang (out of sight, can't be directly below me since I am facing wall) and I get insta blinded and Survivor escapes. Does this mean no metter what you do, you can't protect yourself from flashbang if someone is close to you? That sounds kinda stupid. What power Chucky could have? I have honestly no idea since I never saw anything with this character. Okay let’s talk about this. The big complaint I saw about this perk was that all you had to do to use it was get injured, and therefore it took no skill and rewarded you for playing badly. Okay fine. So how are we all justifying Ultimate Weapon then? Where is the thought and effort required to use Ultimate Weapon? I always wonder which one of these is more viable stragedy in some situations you feel all you can do is to tunnel until you get one out and sometimes you just can share pressure between survivors and take one out when good opportunity rises. DBD feels really fun right now. With Stranger Things back, it feels like the game is restored the normal flow of the game. BHVR has also been taking a lot of community feedback and it is amazing. I just feel like the game is in a really good spot, it's like a natural balance has been restored or something. This could have nothing to do with a new chapter. Could this instead be a clue towards a Myers rework being announced with the patch notes tomorrow? I think it is very clear that ultimate weapon is way too unbalanced. 30 second cooldown is a joke. Maybe it should only be useable after a gen is repaired or someting like that? MFT is getting nerfed und ultimate weapon needs to be nerfed asap. also blight needs a balance patch asap as well. Some of his addons are far too unbalanced. Off the bat, I already have about 75% of perks unlocked for both sides. So this isn't a post complaining about the grind. I'm thinking about new players. More survivors and killers get added at 3 new perks a piece, sometimes 2 new characters, and on rarer occasions 3. So 3-9 new perks for each new chapter. This is a post mostly regarding perks. Jolt/Surge is a really good starter perk, same with Fearmonger/Mindbreaker, so are these perks going to still be made Universal Perks or be turned back into Licensed Perks? Of the new perks released with the Alien DLC, Ultimate Weapon by far was the most prevalent. To the point that Calm Spirit started seeing general use. But my SQ experience these days has been quite remarkable. Most killers I played against seem to have just ditched the perk aside and went back to aura reading (Lethal, BBQ, Nowhere to Hide, etc). I mean, should the killers add a deep wound analog that works + - in the same way, but is not a deep wound?
