I have run into two killers, both Huntress using this perk since the Update on Monday. Are Survivors supposed to get an auditory warning that they have activated the perk?

I got one both times within 3 seconds of going down the basement stairs. I know that it's a rare perk, but I have seen new players use it and I've never received the auditory warning. It's the same sound as something from the Halloween event, I believe when the portals open.

Both of these instances were after Halloween event ended and after the update.
