The intention of this thread is to come up with ideas to make solo surviving bearable, what suggestions can you come up with? I'll start with mine, which is to make Self Care baseline. It'll open up a perk slot for something more useful, and shouldn't really effect higher skilled players/swf since they heal each other anyways. So after an incredible Doctor rework, I just hope and hope for a Clown rework. The clown has so many issues: 1) He provides an audio cue when he is going over windows (why was this ever a thing?) 2) He is designed as a "chase" hero, but his chase is actually quite weak and reloads take forever. I see a lot of controversy between both keys and mori’s being in the game, I can understand where both sides are coming from since I play both. However I think some small changes can fix both and make them a bit more balanced. Feel free to air some complaints with my ideas and share some insight! Is there a reason why the evader emblem does not go to at least Silver if you manage to escape without ever interfering with the killer? I have actually just got iridescent Benevolent, iridescent Survivor, gold Lightbringer, yet only bronze Evader, which felt very, very strange especially when you try to think logically about what the word evasion actually refers to. There are days when the provider often fails, today is one of those days when it flew out for the first time - a 6-minute ban was issued, the second time - 12 minutes. Games are supposed to bring fun, relax and calm. Does Dead by Daylight succed in it? I think no, it mainly doesn't. Because it has so many disgusting and irritating factors you know. Poor UI performance. This game goes dramatically slow in menu because it constantly saves something and sends data to servers to prevent hacking. Terrible Dedicated Servers. When I’m in DBD, my screen is slightly smaller than what DBD thinks it is. I can only see half of my debuffs, so I can only see half of the timer. This hasn’t really been much of a deal breaker gameplay wise, it’s just that it bugs me personally. When I'm playing sometimes I see items in chests or on the ground and think it's not fair the killer cant take these unheld items or destroy them. It would be neat if the killer could pick up items and keep them from survivors, with his new Hoarder perk. Added with Franklin he could get all sorts of stuff. Some upfront info: I play PC and Xbox. Mostly Xbox at the moment since I'm an old school controller player. I only play killer on Xbox and I'd say I have about 60hrs as killer right now all told. And before anyone says 'oh wait until you get red ranks'. Oh, I have faced red ranks and there is usually a high rank survivor or two in my lobby. By performing all of the changes outlined in the PTB, you've made an already insanely strong killer...well, stronger. He's gonna go from OP to God TIer. You need pallets and jungle gyms lined up to just throw pallets in his face and buy as much time as possible before he downs you and zooms across the map in mere seconds thanks to BBQ and then pops the gen everyone was working on. Little story what happened, I played plague for my daily. I had a feng with a key and she was hiding and immersing the entire game, just saw her leggit 1 time. She was never unhooking or touching barely any gens. I’ve never really used this perk before. I have it on tier 3 for Jeff, but he still grunts and grains so loudly when injured. Is it just the killer who can’t hear me, or should it seem quiet to me as well? I tried it on Zarina at tier 1 and I think she sounded quieter, but I’m not quite sure. Every time I'm playing with the docor I'm always dying. He can shock throught walls and just find us everywhere and its impossible to do a gen or anything. With all the Killer buffs, the already long wait time for killers is going to skyrocket. Everyone that dual rolls suvivor/killer is going to play killer. Decreasing the survivor pool and increasing the killer pool. If Novembers stats are correct, I don't even understand why survivors are being nerfed. I would love to see the Grim Reaper and Solomon Kane as killer and survivor some time this year, since we all now know pennywise,tallman,and chucky will not be appearing in any future chapters. There's no sense in it, The Legion is my favorite killer since i started playing this game and it hurts seeing the devs making such poor choices with him. In release he was just no skill to be played but it was a lot of fun, that is why i love him untill this day. So in my 500 hours of playing so far, I've never been in a situation where I actually have a flashlight against the Hag specifically in the basement. She placed a trap on the square piece of flooring at the bottom of the long segment of stairs (where it makes you turn) and I used up all of my flashlight trying to destroy it. You're a survivor not a hunter or something. Play the prey , think a strategy and escape. That was meant in our relative food chain. The only time a prey attacks back is when it has its tools to evade or dodge such as a rabbits flip or a deer's antlers. Using a flashlight is a tool for temporary use. Been noticing for a while since deathslinger arrived that swf and solos just stop caring about the match and either kill themselves on hook or dc when they get downed once. Its really bad for their teamates and makes it boring for me since ive now been handed the win. I'll take the free 4k, but the merit of playing killer has been drying out recently because of this. Right now the game is feeling very repetitive and boring - it's the same thing every game, repair generators, loop the killer, potentially escape. Down survivors, hook survivors, sacrifice the survivors.
