Of my 2,000 hours in DBD, I'd say over 80% of it has been killer gameplay. I love Vee and her plaid outfit and had to hop over to play some survivor this patch, and I don't think I will ever do it again.
I never thought as someone who plays killer so much I would want the stupidly brutal/annoying anti-camp, anti-tunnel, and anti-slug that we dealt with in the PTB, but now I kind of wish we did.
Every match has been nothing but bleeding out all 4 survivors / being prompted with an abandon button, or people face camping the hook until you're unhooked and then going straight for you again to get you out of the match. I also don't think I've seen so much BM like… "walking back and forth" against me in the dying state this bad in almost 4 years.
I don't know if this behavior is new, or the reason we got hit with all this stuff in the PTB to begin with, but Lord have mercy if this is what survivors deal with on the daily, I completely understand the divide / vibe shift. -
Just happened to me as well.
Got the 3/3 complete - it flashed that the challenge was completed.
Finished the match - back to 0.
With the amount of tunneling Chuckys tonight, I just wanted to get this challenge over with so I can go back to playing killer and complete the last page... Sad to hear that it's broken.
I got all 3 done on my first generator, and then was killed - didn't get to touch another gen. So that rules out completing/touching other gens revoking the 3/3 skill checks.

I missed the Halloween sales... and was so excited to make Black Friday...
Only to see that the DLCs I were missing (Like End Transmission) were only 30%, and none of the characters I play have any cosmetics on sale...
I've saved 105,000 iri shards for outfits and 1k auric for a paid outfit on sale and basically nothing went on sale :(
Make that a x3 for disappointed players over here

I play doctor like an a**hole.
distressing 3 for almost 30% larger terror radius plus 100% more deviousness points.
hex ruin to slow the game down - if only for a moment
Unnerving presence (increased skill check chance etc to survivors in your radius) - this can Be swapped out for overcharge if you like to focus gens.
bbq and chili - mostly for that 100% BP bonus stack on top of the deviousness stack. But also helps locate survivors.

Actually - body blocking the basement like this and holding the game hostage is very much a bannable offense. I hope you reported it.

For offline KYF, I don't see why not.
I would NEVER endorse this for official gameplay, though. It would be broken to the extreme. And that's an understatement!

One of the players stated that we were "Exploiting glitches and both are reported" --- which is fantastic considering I don't know how the hell it happened, but it's whatever... lol!
It ran flawlessly smooth, though. Would be super cool to see some sort of expanded gamemode in the future.

I'm torn. It (lately) feels like a buggy, frustrating mess when I finally get into a match (I play killer, but survivor is no better).
Yes - I wan't new chapters.
And Yes - I think they should hold off on the creation of new content until the rest of it is polished.
But Dead By Daylight is one of my favorite games of all time, and I will still support them even though they have screwed me over repeatedly.
From waiting an extra 6 months for my trapper mask, to playing with some of the same programming glitches we've suffered for years (that I could fix myself)... I've still bought the game and every DLC released on PC, PS4, and XB1X. And still plan to.
But that being said - BHVR needs to wake up, for sure. If they keep pushing for "here's more paid content" and not "Here's more paid content - plus a plethora of bug fixes!" -- those of us in THIS boat will start helping drill all of these holes in the floor.

Is success as a killer SOLELY based on ending the match pre-gate opening, and blocking gens now? Seems ridiculous to do well and still not be considered a successful match.

Lol ever since the new matchmaking system, instead of having 15 - 90 ish pings, they have been terrible.
I’ll wait 5 minutes to even start a killer lobby (and then wait for people to join), only to see a bunch of German, Swede, and Russian players connect to my server with like 600-1000 ping.
I wish they had left matchmaking the same until dedicated servers got here.

I may not have as many hours as most people here (about 500-600 on console, 250 on PC)... but from my experience and in comparison to the other killers:
Is she powerful?: Not particularly, no. You need a lot of addons to make her more viable.
In low ranks?: absolutely. Rank 20 - 14 ish you can massacre / 4K lobbies with no perks or attachments at all. ESP. With the gen block.
Is she fun?: so far, I’m having a blast with her. Downing people from over walls and pallets, having people quit out of sheer terror or frustration - it’s great. Animations and graphics are nice, but the paid costumes could be better.
Worth the money?: IMO, yes. It’s only several bucks and gives you an entirely different way to experience the game. Although sub par in high ranks, she’s a refreshing change for a killer main. If you’re worried about buying the next Freddy, you’re safe. The next nurse? Way off.
I’d say mid-tier killer, cool mechanics, but all perks aside from the generator restriction to slow the match down are pretty underwhelming.

The matches where people DON'T quit - the match is over before it really even starts. Especially if people cleanse themselves and then you leave all of the wells tainted so they can't heal any more.
I don't think she's AS annoying as legion (if I'm playing against her) --- but she's definitely in the same tier of annoyance.

I have dropped from a locked 60 to around 40FPS with this patch. It is ridiculously painful.
My current setup:
CPU: Intel i7-9700k 3.6Ghz (8 Core)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB OC
RAM: 16GB DDR4
I can run most of the newest games on ultra at often 150-200+ FPS... So there is no excuse for this kind of performance drop even when neither the new survivor, killer, or map are being used.

I just played a near 30 minute match with people that were looping, flashlight saving, etc.
4 Man SWF and I just have my level 1 Plague I was trying out.
Potentially the longest match I've had in a long time.
Just as they got to 1 gen left, they all got up on one of the hills and were T-Bagging and flashlighting me. I vomited all over them from below, and immediately - all four of them quit.
I took my 20,000+ points and de-pipped.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Update: It is 3 days to Halloween, the mask(s) have still yet to be shipped, and their legal team (if any) has failed to respond to my attorney on multiple contact attempts.
Additionally, a request for refund was ignored as well.
I'll definitely keep at it until I have my mask, money, and/or these people behind bars.
Absolutely ridiculous.

I've contacted their company via e-mail with no reply yet, and sent the legal documentation via snail mail last Friday.
On top of all of this, our "Mask / Limited Edition Print" is back in the store for purchase. The difference is: Instead of $42 EUR + shipping bringing it to a total of like 75-80 USD, they have it for sale at a whopping 69.99 EUR - PLUS shipping!! Bringing it to over $100 for the same mask that we all have yet to receive.
Their new estimate is "24 September"
ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.

I have a written confirmation from Philip stating that the masks were “already on the way to our warehouse”, that they had “already inspected some for quality”, and that it would be shipped by the end of August, “promised.”
now, it turns out it was an entirely fabricated lie straight from their office.
I’m thinking about having my attorney write up some class action lawsuit documentation, and then anybody that feels robbed and deceived by these actions can sign. If we had 1000+ people demanding compensation for this scam, I’m sure it would be addressed in much less of a playful fashion. -

It's a company from germany, which runs the store. Not BHVR. They just gave the license to them. Until now, i never had problems with preorder stuff at game-legends (that's the name of the store).

im not sure their “promise” really holds any weight.
It feels like their goal is to take as long as physically possible to deliver these masks so people are unable to chargeback their $80 USD purchase(s).
and now with them removing the item from the store, we have nothing but our initial receipt (that I decided to print) in case they pulled something like this, lmao. -

Update: As of last week - Item has been removed from the catalog entirely, and those with existing orders cannot place a duplicate order.
We just have to wait for them to release; which has been (without public acknowledgement) been postponed another month.
At this rate, we may not be getting our masks by Halloween! >:(

I haven't played in 2 seasons; so I've been reset to Rank 18.
Devs have changed how matchmaking works. You cant depip anymore if you are below rank 15, this means that every player who sometimes plays the game will always stay rank15+, which makes the queue time on the extremely low ranks horrible.
It was an idea to protect beginners from bullying, but obviously devs didnt think that idea through.
Beginners have to face insane queue times now and basically theyy removed 5 ranks which is quite bad for the ranking system of the other players too.My advice is that you tryhard as much as you can, use best addons etc such that you can get a double pip to get out of these cancer ranks ASAP
Oof. That is absolutely awful. Good on paper, but... ugh.
Whelp, if I can ever get into a match - I'm ready...

Last weekend I literally just tethered to my phone (unlimited 4G data) --- and played DBD all day long. The entirety of each 12 hour shift.
Best weekend I've had in years. LOL.

And I have a lot of health issues as of late, though. Very shaky hands, dizziness, and falling asleep at random - so I'm not sure I would want to spend 70 USD on materials for a mask that I know I would mess up LOL.
If I had that kind of artistic talent, though... I'd be making a leatherface mask and everything! :P
