I don't know man, it really looks like Legion was designed for new players only, from both sides. Both killers and survivors will have somewhat a chance at "success" and "fun" as survs won't go down like flies (as usually happens at ranks 15 - 20) and killers will eventually get 2 or 3k's just because there will be a lot of hiding and fooling around involved, and much longer games as a result.

because the devs just basically design a killer and barely test it via noobs ( [BAD WORD] mcote basically ).

it's absurd and INSULTING that they don't employ the help of various community members to help design a killer that put more time into their game then they did MAKING IT

They designed Legion to be 'fun' to play against/with. New players will feel good when they get chased (but not downed fast) and new killers will feel like they're doing good work constantly hurting survivors.

He's the opposite of fun to play, both as and against.

  • It's perfectly fine as it is now.

Survivors pretty good for controller. You just gotta worry about movement, which is mostly just using your noodle and less about accuracy. Killer is a little trickier, since you'll need to aim a little more and adjust to sudden movements.

If Xbox and PS4 could play together it would be great, but PC should definitely be kept separate.

maybe....but unite all platforms can reduce waiting time on lobbies.

and create a ridiculous situation where a PC killer gets to go against console survivors or worse, console killer (no frames and less control vs pc survivors). This would NOT be a good thing.

and no, you can't just "turn your sensitivity up on console". Anyone saying that has no idea what they are talking about for obvious reasons.

Cross play for xbox and ps4, PC separate, would be a win.

See this is the problem. Killer mains don't want their broken killer nerfed the way survivor mains won't let go of DS so we can never have a balanced game.

They keep begging for balance but balance to them = 4k every game. Every killer needs to be OP like Billy where almost anyone can pick him up and win.

Come on dude, this just isn't true. Billy is balanced and it's not a case of "anyone can pick up and play him and win". That's just nonsense. A good survivor can loop the Billy like any other, Billy just has the means to punish mistakes better and also force more mistakes at certain tiles.

Billy is balanced. I wish people would stop making these threads, it's getting ridiculous and is embarrassing tbh, especially when people agree with them, without knowing they don't know how to play against a Billy properly, or even play as Billy properly. It's a joke.

His chainsaw is ridiculous. Doesn't slow him down, mile wide hitbox.

Yeah he can be looped, but bamboozle, enduring, spirit fury cover a lot of those. If the billy knows how to mind game hes pretty much set.

I've had his chainsaw hit me over objects before. Its like if even a pixel from it goes nesr your character it counts as a hit.

You pick him up and you can just feel hes instantly above every othee character in the game aside from the nurse. I can get 2 hooks in like 30 seconds if I catch the survivvors in the open. Other killers dont come anywhere close to that.

Billy is balanced. Ask anyone that knows this game inside and out, killer or survivor...Billy is balanced. Sorry. You are wrong.

  • Yeah, it's stupid. All they had to do was give us a hole or two to drop down or in the fence/wall up top. Right now it's stupid, but, it is very situational. I guess? It's a bandaid for now. Coldwind just needs to be adjusted in general. Tarp over the walls etc etc

I am not lying. Gen Rushing is a problem. First time I am above Rank 5 and I am feeling cyberbullied. This is ridiculous how survivor sided this game is. The only way to block Gen Rushing is being a perfect nurse and I can understand it's hard to balance the game but. It doesn't make any fun if I find a survivor and hook him and boom two gens done. I mean really? I don't even have a chance to "pressure" them if I am carrying a survivor which is really good at looping (at rank 5 and above everyone is good at it) and I have a Pallet Eater Demon Build (Spirit Fury, Brutal Strength, Enduring and BBQ (for farming sum points) ). Also several killers need a buff or a rework (Like freddy or piggy).
I don't want in a game where is one or two perks are essential (NOED and Ruin). Just balance your game.

Hahahaha dude just stop playing that two horrible killers. This is the problem with killer mains: they aren't good and they blame other things in game for his bad skills. I'm a Hag main when I go killer and ALWAYS (even with SWF's) got 3/4K. Just learn to play well and stop f-cking crying. Or simple, don't play killer. Jeez. Really you have to complain about everything?

    I'm still convinced it's a bait thread

    This has to be bait.

It's never been easier for killers and "gen rush" just means you haven't started well or pressured correctly (not chased properly).

    Sorry, but..."git gud"

Dude? What the? Just read the comments. "git gud" Hmm... Kinda difficult when I am trying to pressure while dragging the survivor on a hook and immediately two gens done. Yep. git gud. Maybe buff Killer or Nerf Survivor how about raising the time to finish a gen from 80 to 120. Or remove toolboxes.

But ayyy git gud. Yeah, thanks for that.

Did you read ANYTHING before I apologetically used the term "git gud"?

How about this... in the scenario you described (two gens popping when you finally catch someone), This happens because you didn't catch the person fast enough, because you didn't find them quickly enough or you didn't chase correctly.

That's nonsense. Assuming ruin isn't in play and the presence of two or more toolboxes, that is beyond a likely scenario that has nothing to do with the killers skill.

    ...Okay?

So you want survivors to do what exactly? Wait for you to catch someone?

Let's say those two gens do pop when you get someone on the hook. Now you go get another survivor. Now there's no gens being done because people have OTHER objectives to complete, such as helping their team.

Or, just exclaim everything reasonable is "nonsense" because you're not good at the game? Your choice.

Take your obtuse rhetorical question and shove it up your ass, obstinate twit. No one was saying that, the thread was discussing how killer has become unfun to play, and you erroneously tried to simplify the matter in terms of "getting good" like most survivors typically do when they don't want to acknowledge their advantages. I challenged you on that and you clearly don't have a leg to stand on save for moving the goal posts. But I'll humor you. "No gens getting done" isn't likely in an SWF group because they would designate someone to be the rescuer while keeping everyone else on the objective. Even in random groups with the frequency of bond, it's not hard to see who's closest to getting the save so can you can stick to what you're doing.

    LOL ez report

    smh

What do you even mean?? LUL... are you saying this because you have no argument?

Guess what? It's because they practised, learned from their mistakes and tried to do things differently when things didn't go their way.

Oh I really LOVE that one. Can I please requote you every time a survivor main cries for changes?
Like "camping" and they refuse to do gens. Because that is no "fun" and it's "unfair" and they still refuse to change their behavior and keep feeding the trolls/camper instead, but keep complaining.

Of course you can requote it. I love how you're looking for a "fight" XD But unlike you, I'm not biased. This goes for both sides. If people playing survivor complains about silly stuff, then what I said is completely relevant for them as well. There's a lot of bad survivors, and they too need to practise and learn from their mistakes.

I do understand why people complain about camping though. I don't really care about it myself, it's up to the killer.. If he wants to stare at my face while I'm on the hook, sure, go ahead. I'm just going to move on and hope I'll have more fun in the next game. Luckily when I play survivor I only encounter campers in the lower ranks by more inexperienced killers right after rank reset. Even if I don't really care much about it, I don't think being facecamped is a fun and riveting gaming experience, and I can't imagine it being very much fun for the killer either just standing there. And the rest of the team won't have a very fun game either, since they just have to sit on a gen for a few minutes and then run out. I don't know about you, but I usually play games to have fun. If you think facecamping is fun, then great, and good for you.

So you are with me on this?
    Survivor make camping viable?

Only because they're bored out of their mind, or they don't know any better. I am in no way defending facecamping, because it is - you guessed it - boring. And like I said, I can't imagine it being exciting for the killer either, so I don't really understand why someone would do it. And I definitely do not agree with people who claim they are "forced" to camp. No one is holding a gun to your head. I do understand camping at certain points, like if all gens are done and the killer wants to secure his kill or something. I have no clue why people would camp their first survivor while all the gens are up, unless they get their kick out of boring other people just because they can..

You are aware that "facecamping" doesn't exist anymore?

And survivor "force" me to camp, when they do bad baits, running towards the hook in the plain open, hide badly nearby or just swarm the hook or hook rush aka playing overaltruistic.
I hope you get the picture here.

You can still face camp, what are you talking about?

And if you see other survivors nearby, it's more prudent to go after them and spread the damage or take the 1 for 1. If you have a brain anyway.

    Again: "Gen Rush"
There are 4 survivor, but only 1 killer.
The killer can always only chase 1 survivor and keep him of the gens.
Switching targets is not beneficial to the killer, because the other one will heal up asap and the chase until the 1st victim is on the hook only gets longer.
And good survivor spread out anyway and try to stay away from each other.
So with an average hit taking 30-40 seconds against a decent survivor (especially at the start of a match with all pallets still available) [good runner can make it even longer than that], plus the time to carry someone to the hook, we have 70-90 seconds for the 1st hook (not including DS, insta heals, etc.), while a gen is done in 80 seconds by a single survivor working on it (not included great checks and toolboxes).
So 3 gens can pop the moment the killer got his first hook.
Survivor have basically 6 objectives -5 gens and 1 gate- and have done half of them already.
Killer need at least 6 hooks (without camping) to kill 2 survivor, which is considered a "balanced" result.
If the killer wants to "win" and get more than 2 kills, he needs 9-11 hooks.
(Not talking about chases, because not every successful chase results in a hook.)
So the killer has achieved 1/6 of his objectives or 1/10 of his objectives, depending on what you aim for (2 kills are enough or more to "win").
So we have 50% of the survivors objectives completed versus 10% of the killers objectives in the same amount of time.

But still there is this strange myth that this missmatch is a result of the killers "incompetence" to hunt or control the gens.

So we have 50% of the survivors objectives completed versus 10% of the killers objectives in the same amount of time.

But still there is this strange myth that this missmatch is a result of the killers "incompetence" to hunt or control the gens.

    +1
The people not understanding this are the ones that don't play both sides at rank 1 with enough hours.

    Such bullshit

It's only bullshit to "ones that don't play both sides at rank 1 with enough hours"

It's NOT bullshit to killers that are bad at the game.

I have over 4k hours across all platforms, rank 1 on both sides, not that it matters.

Just mentioning CAMPING is not a way to win to win the game! I want to win like a fair killer but sadly the survivor isn't playing fair with flashlight saves pallet saves DS Adrenaline and a lot of Toolboxes.
So I am questioning myself, why the heck are we, the killers, playing fair when survivors don't do it. Maybe because we don't want to get flamed? Maybe because we want to play them correctly? But I think it's time to switch the side from Killer to Survivor. They have it a LOT easier than the Killer. I mean they only have 6 Objectives while we have to hook 3 TIMES until a Survivor is dead. Which means 12 times to get 4K but only 3K to win (9 hooks).

  • DS is absolute BS, but it can still be played around, even if there are non obsession DS users. Slugging, dribbling, making sure you zone them toward hooks before you down them, dropping them from heights, dropping in corners to body block, delayed dribble of non obsession (count to 6 before one dribble to a hook if you've zoned correctly) etc.

I posted this screen shot a while ago to mock someone else who was saying that 4DS users with flashlights are impossible to beat. It needs to be changed, but there are some counter plays. I know for a fact I've won more games against these types of players than I've lost, but I had to learn how...

I'm sorry, but you either don't know how to play against a Billy or you just don't want to learn. Don't be in the open and don't hide in corners, this will change your mind on him needing a movement speed reduction while charging. What you ask for will ENCOURAGE the use of his broken addon combo and EVERY Billy will HAVE to use instasaw.

As for making him take longer to recover from bumping into things or obscuring his vision, this will only effect bad/new Billy players or those that make lots of mistakes when using the chainsaw, but still isn't needed. At all.

    Billy Is balanced.

lol. Boi. 2.8K hours of DBD on record. I know how to play against billy :^)
Make some changes could be nice to reduce the amount of billy per games. Btw, why dont we talk about leatherface who have addons to increase his movement speed while charging his chainsaw. He is actualy slow af without addons.

And yet here you are asking for an unneeded Billy nerf. You just want to face Nurse? 2.8k hours btw. Yikes

Billy is balanced. While all killers are "viable" at high ranks (it depends on the player controlling the killer), other killers should be buffed or adjusted to try and match Billy, not the other way around.

  • @Broosmeister said:
His power against looping is destroying pallets faster and the ability to instadown people easily when you're even the slightest bit of being good at playing as billy. It's far too easy now to just walk up to a survivor and instadown them, at least walking towards a survivor with your chainsaw should take longer. Then you have the missed chainsaw which takes literally a second to recover so even when you're far behind someone just chainsaw over there and you end up directly beside them.
The only balanced thing about billy is playing against him on the game map or lery's.

You have to equip specific addons for the chainsaw to be faster than kicking the pallet.

Survivors can keep distance from him and not hide in corners when they know it Billy. He can be looped hard if the survivor learns what to do. Billy can also us his saw to mindgame several tiles that otherwise couldn't be and be rewarded for it. This takes practice and skill. Survivors can also mindgame Billy, which takes practice and skill. You can't just run up and easily down someone unless the survivor is dumb and isn't aware of things.

A missed chainsaw has a cooldown, unless of course more specific addons are used. This is the punishment for missing chainsaws.

A good Billy doesn't need addons and can do well, this is why he is balanced.

It seems to me, based on what you have said, that you go against bad Billy players that only use his OP addons like Thompsons MIx and Tuning Guide, or that you might need to learn a few more things about playing against him?

Either way, Billy is balanced and the only thing that needs looked at on his kit, is the instasaw combo of addons I mentioned (Mix/Tuning Guide), which is not fun at all for survivors and is brokenly over powered.

Yawn here we go with the defence again.

Are accusations always true? No, but when there's a page FULL of them? No smoke without fire.

And yes from my experience when theres a page full of them they have ALWAYS been campers. In fact I've never clicked on a non-camping killers profile and seen thay.

I've been accused of camping after MYC triggered multiple times. I've been accused of camping after a Survivor very nearly succeeded in a basement rescue after the gates were already powered. I've been accused of camping because I stayed near the hook when all three remaining Survivors were swarming the hook like vultures. I've been accused of hacking when I was using Whispers. The list goes on, and it all boils down to one thing: Survivors can't just take the loss and admit they were less skilled than the Killer.
Yes, there is smoke without a fire, especially when it comes to Survivor accusations.

I've seen you choose to camp, for an extended period of time, because it's easy for you. Not because the survivors hook swarmed, or the gates were open (nobody should care if you "camp" at that point), or because there was 1 gen left and you needed to secure a kill. You get your first hook, there have been 4-5 gens still up, you scan around, then make yourself comfy in the corner or nearby and watch them on the hook, occasionally looking around to see if anyone is coming to help. Or, you'll just stand next to them and keep them company.

You have been accused of camping and people have seen it. I'd post a link to your past broadcasts or other streamers clips, but your videos are not there and I don't care to bother anyone else with you tbh.

As long as survivor do not NEED to survive, those stats don't mean anything.

They don't mean anything to you, because you're mid rank killer that gets destroyed and then pulls his internet cord. Most games, at all ranks, good/great/average killers do fine. Try and be average first, you'll see you can kill survivors quite easily, Wolf :)

and even more amusing is that you continue to try and say there is no bias here while reaffirming the "survivors are OP" rhetoric, even if only through insinuation.

Why don't you take your own advice and stop complaining since I can easily turn your post around and mention that I have almost no problem playing killer and getting 3-4k per round when I want to.

now, unlike you, I will provide context and point out that I do this in the rank 8-10 area, so my experience may not be the same as others.

Then why are killers always complaining about survivor juking them and calling decisive overpowered?

Simple: kills do not equal fun.

I doesn't matter in the slightest if a Killer gets 4 kills. If the game leading up to those 4 kills was an absolute #########-show (which is the case in nearly every game in high ranks), it wasn't fun, but frustrating.

It would be nice if Survivors could get away from the kills/pips/Emblems/whatever = fun assumption.

@Wolf74 Well. I think you're stupid. Hit the survivor while his unhooking and then hit him again? It feels so bad for survivors to get tunneled and then go down again. Thats why they are buffing borrow time. Switch the target and you can play as myers, leatherface or hillbilly to instadown the survivor thats unhooking

You're wasting your time. It's pretty obvious these people don't play enough survivor to know how awful it is to be tunneled down the second you're off the hook.

No one's debating or disagreeing with that point at all.

I 100% agree that it sucks to be the current  weakest link and targeted, but that's completely irrelevant in terms of killer efficiency.

It's way more efficient and fun for everyone, to pressure the map and spread the damage. You failing to see this after several people have told you as much is your problem. Or continue to justify a boring manner of playing, which only highlights your inability to play killer properly.

You can camp if you wish, but you should always expect to be flamed for doing so.
