I've seen WAY too many people complaining about his addons. I find that laughable, because blight and his addons are easy to play around. Hug tech too. If you die by hug tech that's just a matter of not paying attention. Alc Ring is overpowered, I will say that, but there isn't a way to nerf it without making it lackluster that I can think of. Not everybody is a Swarm, or (I can't remember his name for the life of me 💀) so stop talking about the game from a comp perspective. Comp is known to be unbalanced and has egregious rules set in it, public matches don't. Not to mention matchmaking can mess up most of the time and match people with drastically different skill levels together. As such, it can make things very unbalanced. I think it is very annoying being robbed of an escape because the killer brought no way out. It is very problematic that it blocks both gates because it gives the killer much more pressure and solidifies that the survivor won't escape. Title The reason I think this is because every killer has a different playstyle. As such, this results as some killers being much easier than others. (Onryo, Clown, etc) This is also the reason why someone like Clown doesn't need to be on the same skill level as someone like nurse. Seriously. How was this allowed. When you combine Dad Boots with Spiked Boots, it creates a really uncounterable combo. There is nothing you can do again this because if you end up avoiding his chainsaw, guess what? He can instantly turn around and down you. I personally don't need it. But with how much killers tunnel nowadays, I run it a lot. Now here's the issue, the skill check inside of the perk lags 1/2 of the time when I use it, resulting in it being wasted. Because of this, I think DS shouldn't have a skill check. This game has too many issues, MMR, toxic survivors, extreme imbalance. I could go on for hours with how many issues the game has.
